We love Chris!

We had DJ Chris at our wedding on 2/13/26 and he was amazing! Its so difficult to pick the right DJ for your most special day, but Chris made it so easy and stress free. We booked him really far in advance, but he checked in every once in a while to see how we were doing. His planning portal sheet gave us amazing direction on how to structure our whole night, and the Chris filled in the gaps. We talked on Zoom a few weeks before the date and ironed out all the small details, and Chris has a very good quality of knowing what you need, even if you dont. He's communicative and responsive and just a delight. He's also extremely flexible, even on the fly. My father daughter dance was nearly 4 minutes long, but my father can't stand that long because of back issues. Literally 10 minutes before the dance, I called Chris over and explained it to him and he agreed to cut the dance down to half. During the dance, it wasn't quite done, but all I needed to do was give Chris a subtle nod and he seamlessly transitioned into the rest of the evening. He really made our wedding night stress free. Thanks so much, Chris!!

Daughter's Bat Mitzvah Party!

We were recommended to contact CoolCityEntertainment through friends who had used DJ Chris for several functions. Our experience with Chris at our daughter's bat mitzvah was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, Chris kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. His music selection was spot on, appealing to both kids and adults alike. Chris was professional, accommodating, and really knew how to read the crowd. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had. Top Notch, professional service

We used CoolCityEntertaiment for our wedding and could not have been more pleased with the quality of service offered. Chris was very easy to work with, open to communication every step of the way and definitely delivered on our big night. He played a great mix of music, throughout the night guests came up to me (the groom) saying what a great choice he was. Amazing DJ

I worked with Chris, who DJ'd our wedding reception in Salem, MA. Chris was very easy to work with, responsive to any questions and made our special night awesome! His equipment is top notch, he was able to keep people dancing all night long, and was flexible in the music selection. I couldn't have asked for a better night and would highly recommend Chris for anyone's special event.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

I heard about Chris and CoolCityEntertainment through a friend who recommend them to me and I am so happy they did! I have see some bad dj's in my time and so I was really nervous about hiring one for our wedding. Our wedding was at the end of September in 2021 (mid-pandemic) and Chris made everything really simple, listened to all of our concerns, and when we needed to extend our time last minute to include the ceremony he was was able to come early and make it work. He played absolute bangers the entire time and our photographer even said he hasn't seen that many people dancing at a wedding in years! It was perfect!!! HIghly recommend!

Best DJ Experience Ever!

Chris was absolutely amazing from our very first meeting, to following up with us post wedding night. The music at our wedding was what we looked forward to the most, so we had a lot of requests, questions and concerns. Chris was extremely responsive, communicated well and knew his stuff. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor ALL NIGHT - it was awesome. We received so many compliments about Chris and would recommend him to anyone!

Absolutely wonderful

You could not have a better experience.

The music we chose was played at the most perfect times. Everyone was dancing and laughing and having a great time.

My wife and I met Chris at an expo during the start of the pandemic and we were nervous of the little details. Everything was taken care of.

As every wedding goes there are small details to worry about. Not with Chris. He will be there early and be there ready to get the party started.

The photobooth (separate part of the package) was so much fun. We had all of our family take silly photos with the props provided!

Then after only a few days I checked the mailbox and saw a USB drive of every photo taken with a lovely message saying congratulations!

Everyone is having a wedding these days after so much isolation. I will be recommending Chris and CoolCityEntertainment to everyone looking for a DJ. You get to relax and let him take over the most important day.

Amazing DJ!!!

I cannot say enough how happy I am with our decision to hire Chris for our DJ services!! He brought our wedding to life with not only the music selection but engaging the guests so they were also a part of the reception. The number of guests who came up to me during the reception asking for his information was astounding. Everyone from young to old were thoroughly pleased with him and only had great things to say!! Awesome Experience!

We had a great experience working with Chris from start to finish. He is very friendly, and was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and met with us in-person to go over all of our details and requests. He provided services from our ceremony through to the end of the reception and we had an awesome time knowing that we didn't have to worry about anything. We got tons of compliments from our guests on the great playlist! At one point, one of our guests asked Chris to play a song that was on our do not play list. Chris was very friendly and professional, and simply told her he wouldn't be able to play that song. Chris's rates are also very reasonable, and it was a great value for the money. We highly recommend Chris for anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and easy to work with DJ!

Chris was amazing! We got married on Labor Day weekend and there was one thing I knew we did not have to worry about... the DJ. Chris was fantastic! His pre-wedding questionnaire was very detailed and he took time to speak with us on the phone prior to the wedding to discuss specifics. Proud to partner with DJ Chris!

DJ Chris is the best! He was our most responsive vendor by far, and made the music process very straightforward for us between email/text communication and the online platform. He offers a very fair price, and will not try to up-sell you on items you are not interested in.

Chris is so genuine, and super excited about your day and the music that will create lasting memories. He really devotes substantial time to thinking about your song choices and bringing them together for the ceremony/reception. He worked with us to have two friends play two different songs on guitar during the reception, and helped coordinate with our Best Man to have musical accompaniment during his speech.

His joy in DJing really helped to elevate our own excitement leading up to and on the big day! We are proud to have partnered with Chris for our wedding.

The best experience possible.

Chris was the most enjoyable vendor I hired for my wedding. He was fantastic, from the amazing communication about who we were and what tone we wanted for our wedding, to taking the extra step to communicate with my other vendors to make sure they were on the same page. He was the key piece of the party, and every single one of our guest enjoyed his work! I can't say enough about how much we adored him, from his enthusiasm about our intro request (wrestling themes) to our dinner starting with a Disney song. He took every quirk we had and made it accessible to the masses, while still covering all the must plays and party hits. Our reception floor was packed from start to end, and I will never forget the laughter and smiles from our friends and family as they partied. Even more, when I had last minute changes to my bridal party and sister/bride dance due to illness- he accommodated my request with ease, taking a wild amount of stress off of my shoulders. Chris is pretty much family now.

Chris was the DJ at my wedding a few weeks ago. He did an amazing job and listened to me and my husbands requests no matter how demanding they were! Awesome wedding night

We just had another great event with CoolCity at our Middle School Fundraiser. It is easy to work with Chris he is attentive and has a speedy response time to any questions. He made our event even better by doing a few games throughout the night that the guests really enjoyed!

Chris was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. I found the DJ research process incredibly difficult, and talked to several. I felt like many jumped to talking about uplighting and add-ons, which I didn't really need and it overwhelmed me. Chris instantly listened to what we were looking for, which was a party. Most of our guests were friends our age (25-35) and so we wanted to keep the music upbeat, relatively modern, with some good throwbacks for people to sing along to. It was important to me that all music played was well-loved music. We had our guests fill out a song on their RSVP cards that would get them up on the dance floor, and I sent along all the suggestions to Chris, who used them to help shape our night. He was super easy-going, listened to what we wanted to hear and what we DID NOT want to hear, and the music just flowed. He read the floor very, very well. I had nightmares about no one dancing, and thankfully those were unfounded! People were up and dancing all night. He helped me find instrumentals of songs I wanted for our ceremony, gave suggestions, and intuitively cut our first dance song down a little bit, which I had wanted him to do but forgot to tell him. He was super quick with his responses, and pretty much always available if I had questions. I know this is said a lot, but we got a ton of compliments on the music and people are still talking about it! Your wedding DJ is an INCREDIBLY important part of your day, so do your research, and figure out what matters most to you! Chris checked off all our boxes, and I'm so happy we hired him!

Chris was so amazing. This is the second year we have used him for our softball banquet for approximately 125 people. He is professional, easy to work with, and has a great selection of music. This is my third time hiring Chris. The first time was for my daughter's birthday party, and the other two times was for a banquet. He knows how to cater to his crowds! This last time, while he was cleaning up after the banquet was over, a representative of the hall we rented asked for his information. She too was very impressed on his choice of music and he had a crowd dancing the whole time. I highly recommend Chris for any occasion!

Chris is every brides dream DJ, he's extremely easy to work with. He is very prompt at returning texts,emails and calls. The tools he provides make it easy to choose songs, set up timelines and organize events throughout your wedding as well as a great eye for up lighting and detail (bouquet toss, dances, cake cutting). His friendly character and warm smile make it very easy for people to approach him and ask for requests with ease. All around a great guy, great company and great professionalism. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for stress free, best quality entertainment.

Chris was an excellent dj for my husband's surprise birthday party. He was friendly and professional and had a great looking set up that included lighting. You can make a playlist ahead of time which was helpful. I found Chris very affordable and would definitely recommend him to other people who are looking for a dj.

Chris was a great DJ! He was easy to work with and was able to provide all of the songs that we requested for our wedding (even the obscure and much lesser known ones that we selected). We were even able to plug into his audio in order to record the speeches during the reception. My husband and I highly recommend hiring Chris for your special day (or any other event)!

Chris did our wedding a few years back and now our company's holiday party. He is super accommodating to whatever the sound wish list is, very professional, responsive and flexible. Has great selection of hits and also a great host when the party needs a little umph.

Chris was great to work with! He responded very quickly to any questions or communication we had with him, set up a time to meet with us while we were planning our wedding, and was very open to hearing our ideas and the type of music/key-wedding-moments we wanted to play.

Come the day of, Chris handled all his set-up with no fuss and did very well working with us on our day's scheduling and keeping the right energy in the room throughout the evening.

This was the second time I have use this company. This time we had him for our softball banquet. GREAT time...music for all ages...dancing the whole night long..and laughs. During the night, awards and announcements were made. He went along with whatever we had planned and even helped us with alarm clock sounds..which is a joke with the league. For a fun..memorable time, I highly recommend this company.

Chris was wonderful and a great communicator. He got everybody out on the dance floor and we danced our hearts out.

Chris is incredibly sensitive to a couples preferences and styles of music. I would recommend him without reservation, I will write or return calls verifying his professionalism but also his ability provide the right music and atmosphere for your event..

I have worked with Chris in the past on numerous events and I knew right away when it came time for my son's 13th birthday party that he would be my first call! He did not disappoint - he was quick to respond back with all the emails I sent him, he guided us through the process of selecting songs and being able to save them online and he also had great suggestions for games to keep the teens occupied. Night off - AMAZING, he was engaging with the guests and made Shane feel like he was number one the whole night! Chris is professional, flexible and reasonably priced - I look forward to working with him again in the near future!

I needed a DJ for my wife's surprise 40th birthday. After some research I found Chris and Cool City. I left and inquiry on his website and received a phone call within an hour. Chris personally guided me through the process and asked me all of the right questions to setup the event. Everything we discussed was documented and as we approached the event date, Chris constantly followed up with me and made sure he had the details down to make the event special. He listened to every need or request I had.

On event day - Chris did an amazing job of knowing the type of crowd we had and finding the right balance of interaction and music to get the crowd on the dance floor! He had everyone dancing which was fantastic! Everyone at the party raved about the DJ! I could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish - my experience with Chris and CoolCityEntertainment was truly first rate. I would recommend their services to anyone without question!

Thanks again for making my wife's birthday party something she will never forget!

We could tell immediately that Chris was the DJ for us when he described his strategies for maximizing dancing for guests of all ages. Chris was extremely detail oriented and professional helping us plan and following up with all aspects of preparation for our event. He thought of everything and remembered all of our specific requests too. Chris was so helpful throughout the entire process. He answered all of our questions promptly and also made us realize we would need to add the ceremony to the services requested. I'm so glad we did that as it was exactly how we planned it!

Chris was also great during dinner making sure the toasts went smoothly as well as helping people to know when to go up to the buffet. After a couple of almost table issues he also was great in letting people know the picnic tables used weren't exactly stable and there weren't any further issues.

The dancing portion of the evening was great and he played the music we requested. it was a great mix of dance songs, slow songs, and old and new. Everyone had a great time and even some of the older crowd were dancing like crazy!

Overall, Chris did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, respectful, and knowledgeable DJ.

Chris did a great job as DJ for our event. Even the banquet manager at the hotel said that he was really good and kept everyone up on the dance floor the entire night! The waitstaff was found watching the games that Chris had us playing, trivia, musical chairs, conga line...etc. so not only were we having fun, but it was fun for others to watch as well!

Chris was so much better than i could have predicted, i knew he was very through with all the time that we spent in person, in our house, on the phone and by e-mail. I had a good feeling that he was the professional that he told us, but, i must admit he did a superb job, better than i would have imagined and some of my family and friends told us that he played the best songs, and the whole family was involved and on the dance floor. Chris was a very flexible and thorough d.j for my sons bar mitzvah.
He was professional and organized and did a great job keeping the
kids busy and dancing and playing during the reception.

Chris DJ'd our wedding last week and was wonderful. Chris was really prepared and helpful through the process answering questions or giving suggestions when I asked for them. We had an absolute blast at the wedding due to his DJ skills. Everyone danced all night long, and said they had a wonderful time. The music was a perfect mix for a wedding and for different age groups.

Chris was AMAZING. hands down the best DJ I've ever had. He kept the kids entertained with fun games and contests complete with prizes. Not only that, but he also played great music and was entertaining for the adults too! It's only been a day and I've been getting so many compliments on the party, and Chris had a LOT to do with it!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Chris was set up early, had very high end audio equipment and lighting. His professional attitude and attire were well received. My guests had a blast and Cool City was a big part of it. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a great DJ.

We had Chris as the DJ for our wedding, he did a fantastic job. We got married at the venue and Chris was a huge help in planning the ceremony. Even though you may think you are very organized as the day approaches your sense of organization dimishes drastically. Thank god for Chris, he was able to keep me focused on the details and made that part of the process easier. As for the music we picked out some of our fave's and Chris filled in the spots, our guests were dancing the entire night! Definatley would recommend Chris and would contract again! Thank you!! My wedding was on March 15, 2013 and I could not have had a better DJ. He was very professional and he met all my rquirements. I had actually had hired a different Dj to start with and half way through I changed my mind about the Dj and hired Chris and it was the best thing that I did. He would email with everything any changes I made he honored right up until the very last minute. I would highly recommed him

Our surprise 60th birthday party was originally scheduled for Saturday, February 9th. Due to Blizzard of 2013 and the two feet of snow we got we had to re-schedule to the following day. Chris was wonderful! He was so accommodating and worked around his schedule on very short notice to still do the party. To top it off - he was fabulous and everyone danced all night!

Chris did an awesome job with our wedding! We were very happy with his work. He had great suggestions for us and made the entire process very easy. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of our event.
