We are so thrilled we chose Cool, Green & Shady as our florist!
Amber and her team complimented our venue perfectly. They created the exact mix of rustic, elegance and bringing the outdoors in that we had hoped for! I am especially happy with the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. They were stunning - the roses even matched the exact pink of the bridesmaids dresses! The second I stepped off the elevator to the lobby of the venue and saw the flower arrangements on the seating chart and welcome table, I knew the dining room was going to look spectacular!
Cool, Green & Shady even added an extra touch of birch slabs and candles to our surprise. The team went above and beyond and truly brought the whole look of our wedding together. The Cool, Green & Shady team are extremely talented and we are so happy we chose them to be our florist for such an important day.We are so thrilled we chose Cool, Green & Shady as our florist!

Amber of Cool, Green & Shady was my florist for our June 2016 wedding and I can’t possibly recommend her highly enough. Her work is absolutely stunning; when I walked into our venue, I was totally blown away. I could not have imagined it looking any more beautiful, and it was so much more than I was expecting. I had a very specific idea of how I wanted our flowers to look so I was nervous to see how they would turn out, but Amber did a sample for us, and then on the actual day of, it was as if Amber took the exact images I had in my head and made them a reality.
Not only is Amber obviously very talented, but she’s an honestly an absolute pleasure to work with. Super approachable and easy going. She met with my planner (Karina Lemke) and I extensively to talk about what I had in mind; helped me set expectations; was very transparent with her pricing, which is very reasonable relative to other florists in the city; and she respected and worked within my budget.
And then, she blew my expectations out of the water! I’m just thrilled with how everything came together.

Working with Amber was a pleasure. I knew she would do a great job because my sister also used her for her wedding and it was beautiful.
I had a big task for Amber and her amazing team, they had to decorate an arbour full of flowers, create my bouquets, and my centre pieces all in about 3 hours! To say they blew my expectations out of the water is an understatement everything was beyond my expectations. The arbour was out of this world beautiful, my bouquets were perfect and the tent took my breath away.
Planning a wedding is stressful but hiring Cool Green & Shady is the best decision you can make! Trust me! Just meet with Amber and you will be hooked!Working with Amber was a pleasure. I knew she would do a great job because my sister also used her for her wedding and it was beautiful.

We recently got married and used Cool Green and Shady for all of our flowers. We were thrilled not only with the final product, but the whole experience! From our first meeting, Amber gave great suggestions, help ensure we stayed within budget and helped piece together a vision from my numerous Pinterest “clippings”. She also made it fun! My fiancée even enjoyed himself and thought the experience was way more enjoyable than he had expected from traditional wedding vendors. The flowers turned out incredibly and really made the wedding space our own. Amber was an absolute delight to work with thanks to her cheerful personality and knowledge of flowers, and she was extremely organized and professional throughout the process. Her familiarity with the venue helped us make informed choices, not only for the flowers but also the size and colour of the vases to complement both the decor of the restaurant and the wedding itself. Her floral creations were beautiful and vibrant, eliciting MANY positive comments from our guests, and they suited the event perfectly. Her timely delivery of the flowers and corsages, as well as her flexibility in transporting flowers from the wedding venue to our brunch location (at Cluny Bistro) was especially appreciated. When I was planning our wedding, I contacted dozens of florists in Toronto and got really discouraged. No matter how much I tried to emphasize that I was only having a small non-traditional wedding on a limited budget and I only required a bridal bouquet and some small centrepieces, I kept getting so many ridiculously expensive quotes! For many florists, they couldn't even be bothered to work with me on my budget. Thankfully, I had heard that Cool Green & Shady was willing to work with brides on any budget, and I am so glad I contacted them! From the very start, Amber was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and she was more than willing to work with me to achieve the look I wanted for my wedding. By far and away, her quote were the most reasonable I received. Even more importantly, the quality of her work was outstanding! Her bouquet and centrepieces came out exactly as I had envisioned from by Pinterest inspiration pictures! In addition, she made the wedding planning process and the day-of execution a snap - from the outset she was a joy to work with and was incredibly responsive to emails and providing all the information I needed right away, and on the day of the wedding, everything was delivered and setup right on time! She even took the extra time to personally show me the flowers and make sure they were exactly what I wanted! I cannot recommend her enough to any bride who is looking for excellent, high quality, and beautiful floral design at a reasonable price! Amber and the team at Cool Green & Shady created the most stunning, high-quality arrangements and bouquets for our wedding. She immediately understood my vision and was able to work within my budget. Of all the florists that I met with while planning, I had the most confidence in Amber's abilities and professionalism, and I was completely blown away by the final product CG&S created. Amber and team did a fantastic job with my flowers. They were able to suggest what flowers were in season and within my budget without any issue, and had fantastic ideas. We made some last minute substitutions due to an early frost and it turned out even prettier than I could have imagined!

How could I give Amber and her team anything less than 5/5? To say that they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement.
I will forever, wholeheartedly recommend Cool, Green & Shady to anyone seeking a florist. After meeting with several different florists about our wedding flowers I was starting to wonder if my vision (which seemed relatively simple) was not only out of our budget but also impossible to achieve.
Within the first few minutes of meeting Amber and with only ONE inspiration picture of a bouquet (that later became the inspiration for the whole wedding), she had a plan. Not only was she able to describe back to me exactly what I had been picturing but her costs were very reasonable. We paid the deposit right there on the spot, despite the fact that we still had almost 2 years to our wedding date.
Fast forward two years and I decided to add a huge hanging floral installation over the head table a month before the wedding. Amber and her colleagues were equally as excited about the final look of the piece and did everything they could to make it happen, despite the fact that it was a complete last minute addition. This included Amber herself, at almost 10 months pregnant up the ladder hanging flowers on the day of (for which we will be forever grateful). I really don’t know how anyone could ever be disappointed with the overall experience Cool, Green & Shady has to offer. Not only are they professional with competitive rates but they deliver superior quality work while really taking the time to get to know and interact with their clients.

She was extremely organized, made any changes we requested and gave us plenty of suggestions based on what we were looking for. Amber also went above and beyond what was required, adding extra flowers to ensure that our escort card holders stood out. Our guests absolutely loved the flowers, and even inquired about our florist. We were happy to provide them with details! :)

She went above and beyond and when my decor company produced the worst mock-ups for a centerpiece.... I turned to Amber for help. She created the most STUNNING centerpieces I could have ever imagined!!
The day after our wedding we were walking around the hotel which was our venue and noticed that they had re-used all of our centerpiece and headtable florals as decor for their lobby!!! THAT is how gorgeous the arrangements were..... the upscale hotel decided to use them as their decor the day after!! :)Amber is AMAZING!!! Amber did such an incredible job on my wedding flowers. They absolutely exceeded my expectations wowed my guests. I am still receiving compliments! We met a couple of times leading up to the wedding and each time I would list off a million more things I liked. Amber was able to narrow down my vision and come up with the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces to bring my wedding to life.Amber did such an incredible job on my wedding flowers. We met a couple of times leading up to the wedding and each time I would list off a million more things I liked. Amber was able to narrow down my vision and come up with the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces to bring my wedding to life. -

Amber was by far my best vendor. She made me the most beautiful bouquet with mini versions for my bridesmaids and gorgeous flowers for the church. The arrangements were original and cool. I booked Cool, Green and Shady for my wedding in Toronto. I met with 5 or 6 other florists before but felt like I was getting the best value from CG&S and as well really liked Amber (the owner) and how she really understood my vision.
The flowers/decor for my wedding were absolutely stunning all thanks to the hard work of the CG&S team. Amber understood my vision for my flowers and decor and was able to make it work within the budget I provided.
The CG&S team is very flexible. I was told that if on the Wednesday before my wedding there was a chance of rain, I could add on additional items for an indoor ceremony. I was very impressed that I didn't have to book and pay for this but it was an option had it rained. Amber also prepared a mock centerpiece for me about a month before my wedding so I could see what it would look like prior.
The day of my wedding, the CG&S team was amazing. They set up everything in the ballroom and delivered the bouquets/bouts earlier in the day. They then returned to set up the ceremony flowers and again to flip the ceremony flowers to the ballroom. They are very professional and did not need any direction from me. They returned the day after the wedding to pick up all the rentals.

Now, the bridesmaids, groomsmen and the family got flowers by Cool Green and Shady. Amber was a dream to work with, and delivered way beyond my expectations. She found pods that looked like buttons!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! She knew how much I loved my bouquet and created the perfect compliment.
