  Timely, communicative, professional and accommodating of this bride's hundreds of questions and change requests!

  Commonwealth Events was wonderful to work with for our farmhouse backyard wedding this fall! They were so accommodating of my many questions and revisions and changes and extremely professional when it came to the tent installation. Our tent and lighting was beautiful and Kim worked with me to design a table layout and band stage/dance floor setup that worked perfectly for our event. I can't reiterate how easy it was to work with them to plan our event!

  We had 3 Richmond event companies visit our wedding site and Commonwealth was far and away the most personable, professional, and reasonably priced. Kim was like family by the end of everything! She gave us the needed paperwork to submit permits, accommodated last minute requests, and just made everything better. Thank you Kim and Commonwealth!

  we used Commonwealth Event Company for our wedding and they were wonderful! Suzanne was so professional, helpful, and responsive. I did a lot of shopping around and they definitely have the best prices

  We used Commonwealth Event Company for our wedding this past weekend and they were fantastic!! Suzanne was professional and responsive to our needs, including a lighting issue after the tent was up and a late addition of champagne flutes to the order!! The team sent to set-up, led by Matt, were wonderful. They were courteous and respectful as they set-up & broke down the tent, dance floor, chairs, table, etc. on our property. The tent was beautiful and of great quality. The linens were clean and we had no issues with the flatware, drinkware or dinnerware that was sent for the event.
  
  Would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future!!

  Commonwealth Event provided the dance floor for my wedding. The venue already had a permanent tent set up (which I think was actually from Commonwealth Event as well!), so all I was responsible for renting was the dance floor. I had a vision of a black & white dance floor, and they executed flawlessly! I think the dance floor was one of my favorite attractions of the entire wedding, and it looks amazing in pictures!
  We rented the largest size dance floor, and it was the perfect size. The dance floor was delivered and set up two days before the wedding, so I didn't even have to worry about that on the day-of. I dealt with Phyllis and she was very responsive and friendly! We had a billing issue at the end (my fault, NOT theirs) and she was super helpful in getting it resolved! Definitely recommend!

  Kim has been amazing. She helped with every detail and event let me stop by a few times to see the equipment before we rented it. The prices were the best I found in town. 5 stars!!

  Commonwealth Event Company did a great job with my wedding this past November. Phyllis and Kim made a great team. Phyllis on rentals and Kim on linens. Commonwealth Event Company beats all of the prices in town and provided exceptional service despite challenging circumstances with my wedding venue and the weather. They are flexible and willing to get anything you need. I am so happy that I chose Commonwealth over some of the other better known wedding rental companies. They did an excellent job for the price!

  Well, I can truly say that Commonwealth Event Company provides good products. We had an outdoor wedding that was plagued by 25 mph winds, and we were very impressed that our tent didn't blow away! I have to chalk that up to excellent set-up by Commonwealth. They also gave us a discount on a chair upgrade since they didn't have as many chairs as we needed in the plainer style. Everything looked beautiful!

The workers did a great Job setting it up however I had string lights I wanted to add on to my contract and I thought she was taking care of it however when I followed up they never had been reserved and then there were no more available. It took two weeks for someone to respond to one of my emails about the lights and an estimate I had asked for. Disappointed in the responsiveness of the company.
