We used them for the ENTIRE wedding

We hired Columbus Musicians for the entire wedding (ceremony and reception), essentially a full 5.5-6 hours. We decided not have a DJ or band and instead preferred to have a string quartet to play the entire time for our wedding. They were incredibly professional, kind, and easy to work with--but most importantly, the music sounded AMAZING. We requested numerous songs they did not have in their catalogue and their additional fees to compose those songs for us were extremely reasonable. Not only that, we are now paying them separately to record a studio album for us of our wedding music! They are prompt, great at responding, and both their catalogue and any custom music you ask them to arrange is BEAUTIFUL. I cannot get over how beautiful they made songs from bands like Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, etc. sound. I highly recommend Columbus Musicians!!

Fantastic Service

The Columbus Musicians were a joy to have during our wedding ceremony. They were professional, talented, and elegant. Malik was very responsive to our emails and answered all of our questions. Our guests enjoyed listening to them play and it was surreal to have our wedding party walk down the isle to the instrumental music. They have a wide selection of sheet music and could easily accommodate special requests outside of their normal repertoire.

Talented & LGBTQ Friendly!

Finding LGBTQ friendly vendors was the most improtant to us. We booked the Shaw Brothers and both them and Malik (owner we communicated with) were great to work with. They also served as MCs (for a nominal charge) and can add songs if they aren’t already on their repertoire (this is more expensive but worth it if you have a song). We received TONS of compliments on the music

Hire for an unforgettable experience

We absolutely LOVE Columbus Musicians! We had the privilege of having a piano, cello, and violin trio play at our wedding, and they were truly incredible. We coordinated the day with Malik, the owner of Columbus Musicians, who answered all our emails with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. The expertise and dedication of the musicians were evident throughout the entire day.
I was initially a little worried because we had several different songs we wanted played during key moments of the ceremony, but the musicians blended everything together beautifully. Their talent and skill left me in awe, and they brought such elegance and heart to the occasion. Music plays such an important role in a wedding ceremony, and choosing Columbus Musicians was one of the best decisions we made.

We recommend them wholeheartedly and are so grateful for the special role they played in making our wedding day unforgettable.

You won't regret hiring Columbus Musicians

We were so happy to have the Columbus Musicians String Quartet playing at our wedding ceremony. They did a wonderful job and added a wonderful touch (and sound) to our event. Throughout the entire process, they were easily accessible via email. They have quite the repertoire list- making it difficult to choose but offering so many amazing songs for your special event. They were even kind enough to help find sheet music for a special song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. It was beautifully played by them. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Columbus Musicians were wonderful to work with! Tiffany was so kind and professional, and quick to answer any questions we had. The planning process was smooth and stress-free, we were given guided forms and access to tons of song suggestions. We got so many compliments on the string trio. We would definitely recommend!

Adding the "Bridgerton" touch to our wedding

We worked with Columbus Musicians to provide music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they did an excellent job! We got many compliments throughout the evening about the "Bridgerton" vibe that the quartet brought (which is exactly what we were going for). They were very easy to work with and helped to make our wedding memorable - they even learned two special songs for us! I highly recommend getting them!

Wonderful string trio for our wedding ceremony

We couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Columbus Musicians! We booked the string trio to play at our wedding ceremony this summer and I was blown away by their skill and beautiful music they provided. Incredible job

I hired Columbus Musicians, LLC for a wedding last week and Yan-Ni did a fantastic job! The harp definitely added to the magic of the day. Yan-Ni was very professional and showed up early to set up and even ran through everything right before the ceremony. Highly recommend!

Absolutely prefect experience

Couldn’t be happier with the company. Very professional and very quick to respond. We decided to to not have a DJ and decided to look into live music for some our ceremony and cocktail hour. It was actually in budget and we booked a guitarist. They ended up providing vocals as well. The Guitarist performed amazingly and it was so nice to have live music during the cocktail hour and the start of dinner. Definitely recommend reaching out because it really elevated the experience.

Such an amazing 4 string quartet, and easy to work with!

So glad that my husband and I chose to have Columbus Musicians, LLC as part of our wedding day! The 4 String quartet was so professional, and they sounded absolutely amazing when they played during our ceremony and our cocktail hour! Just the detail we needed

I highly recommend Columbus Musicians! Tiffany was very responsive and really helped me understand her services during the booking process.

We booked the pianist and violinist for our ceremony. They have tons of modern and classical music in their assortment. Our guests loved it and it truly added to the luxury, timeless, and uniqueness of the wedding. 10/10

Absolutely beautiful

We used Columbus Musicians for our wedding ceremony (string quartet) and cocktail hour (electric violinist!!) on 2/19/2022 at Franklin Park Conservatory. The String Quartet did an absolutely beautiful job and even played a little longer after our ceremony while we took photos. Probably my most memorable moment of our day will be when the bridal party processional started and they played "Bittersweet Symphony" - it was truly magical. The electric violinist played alongside our dj for cocktail hour which made the vibe super fun and many people even commented how cool it was and that he was jamming out! Also, Tiffany is super organized and responsive leading up to the event as well.

Violin and Harp Duo

Working with Columbus Musicians was amazing. From booking, to music selection, to coordination of the event - everything was seamless. We decided on a violin and harp duo for our wedding, and they did not fail to deliver. In fact, they were flawless. Everyone commented about how wonderful it was to have this music at the ceremony and then into the cocktail hour. It was wonderful working with the Columbus Musicians for our wedding in November. We reached out to Tiffany a few months before our wedding day and she was quick to respond and very knowledgeable on the whole process. It made it easy for us to select them as our musicians for the wedding ceremony. The music selection process was simple and thorough, and it made our wedding day go smoothly. Formal Excellence

The selection of songs in the quartet's repertoire, available on the website, was very comprehensive, and they were happy to learn our custom song "Red Right Hand" from Peaky Blinders. We had a formal outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. The musicians arrived punctually and dressed so elegantly. The music itself was played very well, and never once did we notice any mis-notes. Our guests absolutely loved listening to the quartet playing through dinner, and we are very pleased the service we received. Coordinating prior to the day of we also smooth. Thank you so much for making our day so elegant.

Columbus Musicians played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and we're SO glad they did!! Tiffany was really easy to work with and responsive, and the string quartet that played for us was absolutely phenomenal. They even learned a new song for my walk down the aisle, and it was perfect. Our guests kept saying it felt like we were in an episode of Bridgerton. :) Book them!

fantastic ceremony music

Columbus Musicians did an amazing job at our wedding ceremony. Their music was absolutely beautiful and I still get the chills thinking about it. Everyone commented on how beautiful it made the wedding ceremony and I couldn't have asked for more. Ian was easy to get a hold of and always responded in a timely manner. This was a very easy experience during my wedding planning process. Ian responded quickly to all of my e-mails and was reassuring at every step. We hired a violin/cello duo for our ceremony and the music I heard was beautiful. My family members that interacted with the musicians said they were also easy to work with. Ian is awesome! He's very flexible and his music is on point. I asked him to play a fairly complicated song for my processional and he and his team played it beautifully! My guests still tell me weeks after the wedding that the ceremony was their favorite part of the wedding solely because of how amazing the music was!

The music was wonderful and just what we wanted! Ian worked with us and narrowed down options for us because at first, we were a little overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Ian also found an arrangement for our soloist to sing and worked with her before the ceremony. It all went very smoothly! The music was beautiful, moving, and just the right volume!

Columbus Musicians provided the perfect touch for our intimate ceremony. Very reasonably priced with lots of options for different events. Selecting music was straightforward, and they were very accommodating of requests (I'm a musician myself). The experience the day of the wedding was perfect - everything went very smoothly, and the music sounded fantastic. I love Columbus Musicians, LLC!!! I dealt with Ian via email mostly and he made it extremely easy to pick and organize the music selection I needed for my wedding! We selected the string quartet and all the popular arrangements made it very enjoyable for our guest! I first heard Columbus Musicians LLC at a bridal show at the Franklin Park Conservatory. In fact, they were playing while my then fiance proposed (again) and surprised me with another ring.

I LOVED that they played so many new songs, as well as the classics. The quartet sounded BEAUTIFUL as we walked down the aisle. I would advise any couple to use Columbus Musicians LLC. They were brilliant from the moment we contacted them and they accommodated everything we asked for. We wanted a certain playlist along with some suggestions to be played and they played to perfection. Our wedding cocktail hour (2 hours) was greatly improved with Columbus Musicians playing and even today our guests mention how fabulous these guys were. I wouldn't think twice about using again. They are the best!

Columbus Musicians is fantastic! I hired a string quartet to play at my wedding ceremony, and Ian was so easy to work with (they have a huge repertoire!). They did thirty minutes of pre-ceremony music, and from what I was able to hear off in the distance, it sounded great. And they played the processional and recessional selections beautifully! They were very professional, and we barely even noticed them arriving and leaving. I highly recommend!

Columbus Musicians was such a great group to work with! We booked a string quartet and the music was beautiful! We got so many compliments on the song choices, many of which were Ian's suggestions. We hired a string quartet from Columbus Musicians, LLC and they provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were amazing!! So many of our guests commented about how beautiful they sounded! Not only did they sound beautiful but they wore tuxes so it also added an elegance and class to their musical talent.

I was looking for non-traditional music for our ceremony and they had so much to choose from (plus for a very small/reasonable fee they will get music for any song not on their list, but their list is so extensive you likely won't need that). After hearing their samples we decided to also book them for our cocktail hour. The quartet was on time, perfectly carried out everything we planned, seamlessly transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour, and we got lots of comments on how much it added the atmosphere. We highly recommend them and they were definitely one of the easiest and stress-free vendors we worked with!

I used Columbus Musicians for my wedding in September. My wedding was in a nontraditional setting, the Columbus Zoo, but I really wanted the feel of walking down the aisle to live music instead of just something playing from my ipod but I also needed it to fit into my budget. Columbus Musicians fit the bill and they couldn't have been better. They had so many choices for songs, and several options for my budget. We went with the Trio. Ian Jones was so easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. The trio was extremely professional and did a fabulous job. Ian and Columbus Musicians LLC were absolutely amazing. Not only were they one of the most affordable aspects of our big day, their professionalism and musical skill was impeccable.

The string quartet played all the songs we wanted and did an amazing job. I wish I could have listened to more of their playing prior to the wedding because it was that good.

Honestly, the string quartet sounds one million times better than any piano, harp, or recording you could possibly have. All of our guests said it was awesome and one of the best music performances at a wedding they had heard. Ian and his quartet played for approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony due to our late start without a hitch. And the processional music was spot on. I could not have asked for a better music performance at our wedding.

Ian Jones and his string quartet gave us the most beautiful backdrop and soundtrack to our wedding ceremony at The Columbus Museum of Art. Their song repertoire knows no bounds and each song that we requested to be played, the musicians knew and performed beautifully. Our ceremony included everything from Bach to Coldplay and the compliments we received on the musicians were innumerable! They performed a 30 minute prelude of music as the guests were entering and being seated and then played after the ceremony until the guests had left. They were a breeze to work with and provided us with a gorgeous accent to our ceremony. It needs to be said that we were recommended to us by both our officiant and our coordinator at the museum and they were spot on, Ian and his musicians know and love they work and they moved seamlessly throughout the ceremony like a well-oiled machine! We were introduced to Columbus Musicians, LLC at a bridal fair event at Franklin Park Conservatory. At the time, we were unsure how to get any type of music for our ceremony to be held in a public park with no guaranteed electricity.

The director, Ian Jones, communicated multiple options to us both in terms of 4-piece, 3-piece, and 2-piece ensembles as well as suggested music options for each. We opted for a duo simply based on our budget and needs, though the pricing and flexibility of every option seemed entirely fair. Ian made it very easy to organize a half-hour of pre-ceremony music, parent/grandparent seating music, bridesmaid music, bride intro music, and exit music.

On the day of our wedding, the musicians basically showed up and played as expected, and if not for their beautiful music we may not have even known they were there! They were very professional and required no interaction before, during or after the wedding, though several of our guests and family claim to have complimented the musicians and continue to tell us how much they enjoyed our string musicians!

Ian Jones was a pleasure to work with! He promptly responded to all emails and offered lots of suggestions for songs for our ceremony. I did a mix of both traditional and contemporary songs and couldn't have been more pleased. We added 2 songs during the ceremony, "From this moment on"- for the unity candly, and "The Prayer"- for an interlude, as we wanted to be able to enjoy the music (since we weren't really in the room for the prelude/postlude music)- and they were both beautiful!!! His website had actuall music that you could listen too which was very helpful in picking out the songs that we wanted. They were also open to any other songs that we requested. The musicians the day of played perfectly, and were a delight! Thank you for making the day wonderful!! Totally recommend Columbus Muscians to All!!

We had a solo violinist. We booked him last minute and he was so great working with us. All of our friends and family that it was an amazing touch and the price was just right! We are so glad we booked him!

I really enjoyed working with Columbus Musicians. They were really professional and very responsive to my email inquires which was my main way of organizing my wedding. I didn't know what exactly what I wanted in my ceremony music, and Ian Jones, the main representative, guided me to a music program that was very tasteful and unique. Ian also worked with my officiant to make sure that all of the cues were well timed. Classical music really added a je ne sais que to my wedding--like musical icing on a cake.

The team over Columbus Musicians did an incredible job at our wedding this past weekend. Ian was super easy to work with and helped us align on which songs to play during the ceremony. They showed up early, we're professional, and played wonderfully. We got many compliments from our guests.

We used their String Quartet and we'd highly recommend it. We looked at a few other strings groups in the area and found Columbus Musicians to be the best and they didn't disappoint. We'd recommend to everyone.

Columbus Musicians did a wonderful job providing music at our December ceremony. We opted for the string trio and were not disappointed. Ian was wonderful to work with, very prompt and accommodating. They have a great selection of modern songs and even learned a Dave Matthews song for us (only charging $25). We have received numerous compliments from our guests about the music selection and talent. It made the ceremony feel less stuffy and more "us". The setup process and start/end time of the music was seamless, without needing any of my help day-of. Highly recommend!

Being the bride, I didn't get to hear any of the music played during the prelude (I wish I would have snuck out and listened to some of it!) or the cocktail hour. What I did hear was absolutely beautiful, though! Ian and his crew do an amazing job and are very professional. Prior to the wedding, Ian was very prompt with responding to emails and willing to answer any and all questions I had. I'm very happy I chose Ian and the string quartet to play our ceremony and cocktail hour. I got a ton of compliments about their music! Thank you, Columbus Musicians, being a part of our special day!

The perfect day is filled with beautiful sights, sounds, smells, and feelings beyond mere imagination. When it comes to sounds, the Columbus Musicians offer a variety of classical and contemporary instrumental music to give color to what is heard at your event. We were fortunate enough to have a string quartet make our scene magical. Just as in the movies, the most majestic, dramatic, and beautiful moments often have amazing soundtracks that accompany the picture and enhance the raw feelings that surround the moments that we relive over and over again.
