Highly recommend!

Colozza’s Bakery was awesome to work with for our wedding! Joan is wonderful as she is knowledgeable, kind, and always greets us with a smile. The cake itself was beautifully decorated, tasted amazing, and exceeded our expectations! We ordered the Raspberry Truffle cake and received so many compliments from our guests. We also ordered pastry trays which were all delicious and a hit at the reception! Another plus was that we were able to rent a beautiful antique cake stand from the bakery as well! Highly recommend!

Beast of a Cake

Angelo was such a pleasure working with. Between having to modify our first wedding day due to covid and changing it last minute to just be a smaller cake, than have our bigger cake be with our reception a year later was amazing by him. We froze our initial cake and most people say it tastes bad. But when we had it was wonderful still and mad me want to eat more. the pricing compared to everywhere else is the best. I have been coming here since i can remember with my grandma. Hands down the best Bakery,

Delicious cake and desserts!

We used Colozza’s Bakery for our wedding on 10/10/2020 for our wedding cake and assorted pastry trays. Colozza’s made ordering our wedding cake and pastry trays an easy wedding task. The cake came out beautifully and, more importantly, was absolutely delicious, fresh and moist. Everyone who had cake raved about how good it tasted. The pastry trays provided a tasty delicious selection of desserts for our guests. We received many comments about how great the cake and desserts were. We highly recommend Colozza’s Bakery!

Excellent unique cake!

We absolutely loved working with Colozza's bakery on our wedding cake. We had initially narrowed our search utilizing positive online reviews. And after doing tastings at several places, we were hooked on their not-overly-sweet buttercream icing and were impressed by the selection of flavors that they could offer. The cake itself was very moist as well - surprisingly hard to find at a lot of places. A great perk was being able to design it ourselves with pictures and input at the meetings. They also allowed us to mix and match flavors from their menu. (Other cake vendors were much more restrictive on that front.) Their flavors even include the ability to soak the cake in different liqueurs. A must if you are in the need for a unique wedding cake. Joan and Angelo were amazing to work with from the very beginning. From emails to in-person interactions, they made the whole process easy for us. Their cake pricing is very fair considering the quality, the range of flavors, and ability to customize. Many of our wedding guests told us that ours was the best wedding cake they have had in a long time. Five stars for sure!

My husband and I were so pleased with Colozza’s Bakery. We met with the cake baker once to discuss our plans for our wedding and provided a sketch that illustrated the design we initially wanted for our cake. During our follow up, which was one month prior to the wedding, we decided to go with a different cake design and provided the baker with a photo. The baker absolutely exceeded our expectations. Not only did they implement the exact design, but they made one of the best tasting cakes we’d ever had. Our guests just raved about our wedding cake and still continue to say how tasty it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better cake for our wedding! The process was handled so efficiently and smooth, considering my husband and I were planning our wedding remotely. I would absolutely recommend this cake baker to others looking for a good and affordable wedding cake.

My cake was amazing! Not only was in beautiful it tasted great! I dont like super sweet and it wasnt! I also, ordered pies for my wedding and they were fanastic! Every one of my guests complimented me on the cake and pies saying it was the best they ever had! Colozzas was super easy to work with and so friendly! Their reputation is definitely earned for a reason! I am a new loyal customer!

My husband and I are so happy we went with Colozza's for our wedding cake. We had a beautiful and delicious Cassata cake that our guest are still raving about. Angelo and his wife are a delight to work with. Great value, professional and amazing tasting cakes.

Colozza's made the cake for our wedding and even the DJ (who is at weddings all the time) took a picture of how beautiful it was! They have tons of demo cakes set up in the bakery instead of just pictures and you're able to pick and choose between bits of each to create your perfect custom cake. The staff are super easy to work with and will make you feel like a million bucks. In addition to all that IT WAS DELICIOUS.

NOTE: I ended up chipping a tooth on a non-edible rhinestone on the cake. However, this was not the fault of the bakery but the reception venue as Colozza's told them to remove the stones before serving which the venue did not.

Cake looked and tasted amazing. Angelo and his wife were always so pleasant and helpful with us while designing our wedding cake. It was a little harder for us and my husband and I didn't have the same taste in cakes. I wanted more modern where he wanted more old fashioned. His grandfather was a baker for Hough Bakeries and he wanted a cake that he remembers his grandfather baking. So with the help of Joan and multiple trips there, we were able to come up with a cake that was a little bit of both of us.

Colozza's is a great family-owned bakery in the Cleveland area. My mom got her wedding cake there and I was so excited to be able to continue that tradition. The cake was fantastic! Our layers included: Cassata, Santa Lorenzo Torte, and Lemon Cream Cheese. We also got the buttercream frosting as opposed to the fondant. Our cake was absolutely lovely - the team at Colozza's worked to make sure the design turned out exactly how we envisioned it. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special (and delicious!).

Our wedding cake looked and tasted AMAZING!!!! We also purchased or bridal shower cake and rehearsal dinner cake from them. Then we went on to our baby shower cake and every one of our sons birthday cakes.

Colozza's bakery has been one of my favorite places for a long time. The atmosphere in their shop is very family oriented and the employees are always so sweet! Our wedding cake was beautiful and so delicious (casatta cake)...I expected nothing less from such a wonderful place!

My original bakery closed it's doors a little more than a month before my wedding leaving me scrambling. I emailed Colozza's to find out of they'd even be available to do my wedding. Even though they were closed when I sent my email they were SO QUICK to get back to me. They did a beautiful job on my cake. I LOVED it. It looked gorgeous and tasted just as amazing! We will definitely be going back!

Colozza's Bakery stepped up to the plate for me. I was in a pinch, I had to cancel my order with another bakery due to their lack of professionalism and customer service care. I called Colozza's right away (the day before my daughter's 16th birthday) and they took such amazing care of us. The cake was gorgeous and it was delicious. I received more compliments on it than my previous bakery. They are so professional and treat their customers like family. I am ordering all cakes through them from now on. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

We LOVED the cassata cake got for our wedding from colozza's! And so did all of our guests! The price was much more reasonable than many of the other bakerys, and we thought the taste was much better overall. We showed Angelo, the baker, a picture of a cake we liked, but told him to use his creative license and it turned out beautiful! We got so many compliments. They were easy to work with, letting us put down a deposit and then paying the rest a couple of days before the wedding. They also delivered for free, which was VERY generous since we were about a half hour away. I do will continue to recommend colozza's to others

I recently worked with Colozza's for a wedding shower cake. I was planning the event long distance and Angelo at Colozza's was very easy to work with. I sent pictures of cakes that I found on the Internet and he was very open to the designs. The pricing was reasonable and the cake was ready on time for pickup. The cake was delicious and enjoyed by everyone.

We ordered our wedding cake from Colozza's. I felt so welcome the moment we walked in the door. We ordered a 3 tier cake. 2 layers with raspberry filling and 1 layer red velvet with raspberry filling with buttercream frosting. ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! Our cake was GORGEOUS. The cake that we picked had intricate detailing and they nailed it. Absolutely beautiful and it was delicious! I was a little worried as my wedding was on the eastside of Cleveland and the bakery is on the westside. No problems, arrived beautiful. I also rented the base to place the cake on which showed their awesome work off even more. I spoke with Angelo a few days before my wedding and he was so wonderful and friendly. I always stop by the bakery when on that side of town, so yummy! Thank you so very much! We'll be back to order our anniversary cake!

Colozza's did a beautiful job on my wedding cake and it was really delicious as well!

I went in for an initial tasting and they set out 3 choices for tasting which included a pina colada cake. My initial reaction was that's weird, but after I tasted it, that's what I picked. It was so delicious, after I left I felt myself craving more of that pina colada cake.

I requested white scrolling and rhinestones and the cake was absolutely perfect. I also requested one layer of white cake and one layer of the pina colada cake, and they were happy to accommodate. My guests raved about how good it was. At the end of the night, there were no leftovers! Luckily, we still got the top tier to eat later, and let me tell you, it did not make it to the freezer to be eaten on our 1 year anniversary per tradition, because we couldn't wait to eat it. I have a feeling a year from now, we'll just have to go order another lil pina colada cake to celebrate our anniversary.

Colozza's Bakery has the best cassata cake on the westside of Cleveland. Angelo was so easy going when we met with him and made sure that our cake would not only taste great but it would look good too. He was right! The cake matched the theme of the wedding, simple but elegant.

This family run business was second to none. Our venue recommended that we use them and I am so glad they did. We went in to taste their cake and did not even bother tyring anywhere else. They produced a beautiful and delicious cake with very little direction from us. Pricing was more then fair for the product they provided. VERY HAPPY BRIDE :)

Colozza's was great. I'm not a huge fan of cake, and even I liked the cake they made for us. It was adorable, exactly how I wanted it to look, and they did it with only two month's notice. Thank you!

The cake was wonderful. They really gave us a great value for our money. They decorated it just as we asked, it was so much more beautiful than I could have hoped for. Everyone commented on the amazing taste of the cake. There were so many wonderful flavors to choose from. The bakery does have odd hours, so make sure you call ahead for cake tasting.

This cake was amazing. Most people don't remember what the wedding cake tasted like after the event............ but not this one! I am still getting praises for how good the cake was and that it was the BEST wedding cake they have ever had. That is a real compliment and much needed after my total flop of a sit down dinner with Muntean's Catering. My cake was called a Raspberry Truffle cake and it was layered with white frosting, chocolate cake, fresh raspberry filling, white cake, chocolate mousse and then chocolate cake. It was wonderful looking at everyones smiling faces while they were eating it. I knew, from when we tested it, it was going to be a big hit.... so I ordered extra. I ordered so much extra that everyone had seconds and even enough to take home. I was thanked for doing this as this was a "favor" in itself. It is nice because you can have a mini cake made for a special occassion and relive the moment. Yummmmmmmm. :)

Everyone loved the cake. When I imagined wedding cake, it was like that one. They take pictures and ideas and make it work for you. Their flavors are unique and different. I did a half yellow half chocolate with chocolate fudge between and everyone loved and complimented it. Very reasonably priced and easy to work with. They took some ribbon I had and my topper and incorporated it. I’d definitely recommend trying and doing a tasting with them, available on short notice too.

Colozza’s offers for a 75$ deposit beautiful cake stands. Once you return it, you get the money back.

They were more than willing to let us try all of the flavors we wanted. We were able to do different flavors for different layers. The cake looked exactly like what I imagined. We ordered cupcakes from them also, but they did not look as nice.

The cake was exactly what we wanted! They had a lot of flavors to pick from for the cake, filling and frosting. They had several books to review for style or we could have brought in a picture of what we had in mind. They were very helpful and the cake was beautiful. We dropped off our cake topper, paid the balance and they took care of everything else. The cake was delicious too. Highly recommended!

Colozza's was so great!!! We loved them!! Their cake is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We got two different flavors of filling- raspberry truffle and stawberry casada, I would recommend paying the extra for the filling- so worth it! Our venue was a little further than Anthony usually goes, but he made the trip for us, and he delivered it early since our ceremony was at the same place. I gave a 4 for responsiveness because they are pretty busy so sometimes it's tough to get in touch with Anthony and I also didn't have much luck emailing him, I would recommend going there in person as the best way. I didn't sample many places, it was a little more expensive than the others, but bc of the great taste it was definitely worth it. Another thing that was nice is he took our cake topper ahead of time and set it up for us, some places wouldn't do that.

Delicious Cake

The cake was fantastic! We ordered a small two tier cake for cutting and for family, both layers were great. We got a large casata sheet cake for guests and everyone loved it. We enjoyed the leftovers as well.

The cake tasting was very helpful for making our selection. The bakery acted professionally each step of the way. Our cake was beautiful and delicious, but this is not necessarily the cheapest bakery in town.

Colozza's made a beautiful cake and it was delicious! I was very happy with the cake. My design that I had showed him was not what I got but I was flexible on design just wished I received something more of what I was initially looking to have. Don't get me wrong though, it was the best wedding cake I have ever had! I can not wait til our 1st year anniversary to taste it again!

Planning a Cleveland wedding while living in Chicago is tricky. I had only a couple trips home to meet with the vendors and during those times packed a lot in.

I met with Angelo in November (for my April wedding) to go over flavors and design. When I called him April 1st to confirm everything he asked me " What flavors and what design I wanted". Obviously didn't note anything from when we met live and I worry what would've happened if I didn't call him to confirm. As a bride this can be frightening.

I also emailed him directions for delivery and to put him in contact with my wedding planner. He called me about those exact things I emailed him about showing me that he doesn't check his email's regular, if at all.

With that said, the cakes design ended up looking beautiful! The taste was good and hes a really nice guy!
If you're looking to save money on your cake - use this place. Good cake, great price.

We didn't end up going with Colozza's but wanted to write a review on why. First, we didn't get the best service. I made an appointment and when I showed up, no one seemed to know and they told me they don't schedule appointments that week because it was a holiday. There was no table/chair area for us to discuss cake options and prices. Everything was rushed and not professional. On top of everything their pricing was way higher then the others I talked to. I wanted a wedding cake for $500 or less for 150 people and they didn't have anything even close to that price range. (we ended up going with Michael Angelo's, and got everything and more for $500)

well it was my 16th birthday i wanted to make my cake pink and black so i wen t to them they made top of the cake taste like paper and bottom of it was all blank no flowers or anything
