Julia was a surprise gift from my matron of honor. She was an absolute dream to work with! From wedding day Julia was so considerate in asking us particular questions about our painting, and after wedding day she was so communicative with updates. I can't imagine a higher level of professionalism and joy from a vendor than what Julia expressed to us and our painting is now our most prized possession. She captured our first dance and our venue perfectly. I'd also like to note that I am a person of color while my husband is white, so I was initially nervous about how our skin tones would translate to a painting, but they are perfect!! -

Julia is an absolutely gem of an individual! She is so quick to respond to inquiries and her skills put her so far above other wedding painters, it's insane!
Many were skeptical about a wedding painter but with Julia, she absolutely blew everyone away on the wedding day. It was the talk of the whole day! People couldn't believe the level of detail and colors she was able to get. Many claimed it was as good as a photograph. The final piece is absolutely stunning. The extra hours in the studio and frame were just icing on the cake. We are so happy with our painting and it hangs in a place of honor on our mantle in our living room. 12/10 would recommend Julia to anyone getting married. -

Julia was absolutely incredible during all steps of the wedding planning process! She was so kind and communicative in the days leading up to our September 2024 wedding, even when considering potential rain plan options, and on the day of, she absolutely wowed us (and every single one of our guests) with her talent. She truly made every detail of our ceremony scene come to life on canvas, but also checked in with us periodically to make sure we liked how everything was coming along, and to give input on the creative direction of the painting. Beyond her work, somehow, in between creating an original painting from start to finish that evening, Julia managed to capture and send us a video of our ceremony entrance; we did not have a wedding videographer, so having that video means so much, and Julia did that purely out of kindness. We now have a piece of art hanging in our home that we will truly cherish forever. Thank you, Julia! -

Absolutely wonderful!
When planning our wedding, My husband and I were torn between hiring a wedding photographer and a wedding painter for quite a while. However, once I found Julia's Instagram page of previous wedding paintings, I knew we had to reach out ASAP!
Hiring her to paint at our wedding was the absolute BEST decision. Julia truly captured the most beautiful day of our lives in a way that no video camera ever could.
The amount of color, detail, emotion, energy passion, talent and love shines through on the canvas more beautiful than we could have imagined. My husband and I are blessed to have had Julia create a piece of art that we will have and cherish the rest of our lives. Wherever the next chapter of life will take us, we will proudly display this painting from the day we promised each other, "always and forever."

I cannot say enough amazing things about Julia! We hired her as a live painter for our wedding in July of 2022 in Colorado. She is professional, friendly, and passionate! First, liaising with her via email and phone was easy. And, on wedding day she was SO friendly to our guests as many would stop by and chat with her while she painted a beautiful scene of us (bride and groom) with a mountain landscape.
Now, our painting hangs in our home and is a constant reminder of our favorite day - our wedding day! If you are looking for a live painter or some type of entertainment for your wedding day, book Julia! She is absolutely lovely. -

Julia Dordoni painted our "first kiss" moment during our wedding ceremony at the Pinery at the Hill in Colorado Springs. This was a surprise to me from my husband, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the day! After the ceremony, Julia moved into our reception space to continue painting. Our guests loved getting to see her work as they ate dinner and danced. She was very communicative throughout the process and worked so hard to create a work of art. We now have our painting framed and hanging in our home. It's such a personal and unique reminder of our special day. We would highly recommend Julia! -

Julia is one of the kindest people you will meet. She is also very professional and talented. We welcomed Julia at our wedding at the Dunafon Castle and she was a huge hit, at the end of the dinner she showed everyone her painting and we were in awe at her talent. She then took it home to add details. Hiring Julia was my idea and I am so glad we did! Her art piece hangs in our living room and it is a beautiful reminder of our special day. She heard my ideas and helped us feel apart of her creation as well. I wouldn’t hesitate hiring her. You won’t regret it! -

Highly Recommend!
I am a wedding planner in Denver and I had the pleasure working with Julia for a wedding in Idaho Springs. Julia was prompt with her communication and arrived early to scope out the venue as it was her first time at the space. Julia was very professional and super engaging with the guests and couple. She did a beautiful live painting of the couple at the ceremony space. I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again and would 10/10 recommend Julia to any of my couples! -

Exceeded Expectations
Julia was absolutely amazing! She was flexible with our wants and needs from the beginning. We had never worked with a painter before, so we were nervous that our ideas/visions wouldn’t work out. She exceeded our expectations, and created a piece of art that we never imagined receiving for ourselves. Not only was her work stunning, but she also completed our piece in half the time that she originally quoted us. We are so happy we went with her for our big day! We gifted Julia's Live Painting service as a wedding present for a family member. She was incredibly responsive and very easy to work with, both between us and the bride and groom as they worked with her to figure out how they wanted the day to be portrayed.
Julia created a one-of-a-kind piece that perfectly reflected the wedding and incorporated the guests in a very unique way (they each got to paint a piece of the painting!) Though you would never know because the final product looked like it belonged in a gallery.
I would recommend Julia to anyone and everyone. -

Let me put it this way, if I could do it all over again this is for sure the one thing I would without a doubt book again!!
Julia was amazing!! Our friends and family loved watching her create our piece during our cocktail hour. She captured every tree and mountain and color so perfectly. Every time I look out our painting I feel like I am right there at the alter again and I get butterfly’s. We will truly treasure this forever. Worth every penny. It really is one of the only things you can take with you and hold onto forever. Seriously don’t think about it, you want one, you need one! -

Julia is Amazing
Two words: Absolutely Wonderful. Julia is not only amazing to work with, but the painting we received was absolutely gorgeous. I’m honestly speechless. Julia puts time into your painting. She actually took our painting home and put so much time into it and added so much detail. For example, look at my dress in the picture I added. She produces quality work and at the same time is flexible, easy to work with, and super freaking nice. If you were looking to hire a live painter, choose Julia. You won’t regret it, I promise you. -

Julia is absolutely phenomenal to work with and she is such a sweet human being! My husband and I initially booked Julia to paint our wedding live back before all of the COVID hoopla. She was kind and understanding when we needed to change our wedding date, but, even then the stay at home order prevented her from being able to come to our wedding and paint live. The order didn’t stop Julia from creating the most beautiful painting I could’ve ever imagined from photographs of our wedding. She coordinated the colors with my home decor, incorporated my husband’s favorite flowers, and kept us updated every step of the way. We are completely blown away by the final product; seeing it in person brought tears to my eyes. If you are considering a wedding painter, book Julia! ❤️ -
