Heidi did such an amazing job with our wedding cake! We had a very specific idea in mind, wanting each tier to be seven layer rainbow cake. Heidi listened to our ideas and expanded on them with us, suggesting an absolutely perfect turquoise outer frosting with rainbow palette flowers wrapping up the side. We did a tasting and even though all of the flavors were absolutely delicious, we eventually decided to go with lavender cake with honey frosting. We must have chose well because our guests loved it. And the cake was nothing short of show-stopping with brilliantly bright rainbow the moment you cut into it! If you're looking for somebody to make you a gorgeous cake, deliver it safe and sound and on time, and make the entire experience a treat, look no further!

Heidi was really easy to work with. She communicated well and really helped with our vision. We had the opportunity to taste all the cakes they offered as a sample box ahead of time. Incredible cake and wonderful to work with!
We LOVED our cake from Colorado Rose Cake Company - it was beautiful and delicious!! We got so many compliments from people on the cake (with the father of the groom saying it was the best cake he had ever had!), and as someone who is a chocolate lover through and through, I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the strawberry cake and the lemon cake + blueberry compote/frosting combination. Not only was the cake amazing, but Heidi was a joy to work with. She was so knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional, and worked with us to ensure we had exactly the cake we wanted when there was a good bit of uncertainty about our guest count (COVID times =p). I couldn't recommend Colorado Rose Cake Company or Heidi enough!!

Best Cake in Colorado
Heidi and Kyle with Colorado Rose Cake Company did the most amazing job with our cake! It was a showstopper and fit perfectly with our theme and venue. Sometimes cake can look beautiful but may not taste great. This was definitely NOT the case with our cake. Not only was it beautiful but it was also delicious and our guests raved about it saying it was some of the best cake they have ever had. We were able to offer our guests three cake flavors (chocolate with peanut butter cream, lemon with raspberry cream, yellow cake with cookies and cream filling) and all were so tasty. Heidi’s cakes are great because they have multiple layers within each tier. Her buttercream work is stunning, high quality, and unique.
We also ordered gluten free cupcakes for some of our guests with allergies, and they appreciated being able to taste the delicious cake too!
Throughout the planning process Heidi was communicative and professional. She was willing to work with us to help us have the cake of our dreams and even turned on the light on the Tardis we asked her to put on the cake (we are Doctor Who fans and wanted to incorporate that on the cake). She also did an amazing job adding flowers to the cake without overwhelming it. She was very helpful during our consultation and helped us narrow down our vision. We can’t sing enough praise for her work.
We highly recommend Heidi and Kyle with Colorado Rose Cake Company! If you are searching for someone who creates beautiful artistic cakes that are delicious, look no further!

Heidi was THE BEST! She was very responsive and SO SWEET! The cake's flavor - funfetti and cookies and cream (for the groom) was so yummy and the cakes design (Mountain scape) was AMAZING and SO PERFECT for the venue! Amazing cake!!!!
Heidi was the most wonderful "cake lady" we could have had!! We received so many compliments on the cake with most people saying that it tasted better than any wedding cake they'd ever had. The guests were fighting over this cake! lol
My wife and I got married during the pandemic last summer. We decided to just have a small gathering at our house instead of the big wedding we originally planned. We ordered our cake with Heidi. Not only was she very friendly, she was very flexible as our guest list kept changing over time. The day of the wedding, the cake was amazing! After my wife and I did the traditional "feed each other," we passed out small pieces to our guests. From then on, every time I passed the dining room someone was in there attacking our cake! I kept having to shoo people away. Our guests became obsessed. I caught one of my groomsman eating it with his fingers because "a fork would only slow him down." Two guests even fought over the last piece. My wife and I had to hide some of it in order to save it for ourselves later. Buy a cake from Heidi! This was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted in my life and my family and friends agree!

Heidi was a pleasure to work with. Picking out the cake flavors and design was easy and fun. We were even allowed to mix and match from their normal flavor combinations. The cake turned out amazing! I have never been to a wedding where so much cake was consumed. My husband has celiac disease and they were even able to make him a gluten free layer. Great experience.

Delicious Wedding Cake- exactly as requested
Even with a change in date twice, and finally with it moved up with just about 2 weeks notice, and a change in the amount of cake required, Heidi managed to squeeze in making our daughter's wedding cake. She was flexible in making sure the cake was ready for one of the bridemaids to pick it up on her way up to Estes Park, as Heidi had two other weddings that day and couldn't deliver it. Everyone said it was one of the best wedding cakes they'd ever eaten and loved the design. I would not hesitate to hire Colorado Rose Cake Company in the future.

Heidi made my dream wedding cake, 5 tiers, all kinds of flavors, and absolutely delicious. It was a stunner and star of the show, and tasted even better. She was so kind to work with, helped me pick out certain designs to go on the outside and delivered it to perfection. I am obsessed with cakes and knew that I would be extra particular but Heidi couldn't have done better. Everyone at the wedding was raving about the cake and went back for seconds. We couldn’t be happier with Colorado Rose Cake Company. First, we had a tasting with them out in Berthoud and everything was delicious. Heidi went over all of the options as far as flavors, designs, layering, etc. and we could not believe the options! Colorado Rose was really easy to work with and super patient as we went back and forth because we couldn’t decide between all of the options. We ended up going with a 3-tiered “scraped naked” cake with lemon poppy seed and cinnamon bun flavors, which turned out absolutely amazing! We highly recommend allowing Colorado Rose to be a part of such a special day. Thank you Colorado Rose and we can’t wait to have our cake again on our anniversary!!

The best tasting wedding cake I've ever had!
I am so impressed with the cake that Heidi made for our wedding at Della Terra. Although I may be a little biased, it was legitimately the best tasting cake I've ever had at a wedding. It was rich, had multiple layers of filling on each tier, and was not a typical fondant cake. During our consultation with her, I also gave her this idea I had in my head and what she delivered was amazing! I told her, "you know how the sky looks when the sun is setting behind the mountains and you can still see the sunset and at the top of the sky you see nighttime peeping in with a few stars - that's what I want". The cake was so gorgeous that many people thought it was fake until we cut into it. I literally had no stress working with her both leading up to the wedding and day of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Finding Colorado Rose Cake company was one of the best parts of getting married! Heidi was great to work with. We scheduled a our tasting where we were able to try many different flavor combinations and look through pictures of cakes for inspiration. Great people to work with. At our cake consultation meeting we had picked our cake and flavors in a hour- it was such an easy process. The hardest part was narrowing it down to just a few flavors because they all were so good (we did multiple flavors of cupcakes with a small cake for cutting). Best cake ever!
We had a wonderful experience with this company. We planned a destination wedding in Colorado and only had time to arrange for one in-person meeting. We sat down with Heidi to look at different styles and see plenty of examples in photos and demo cakes. She prepared a plate of samples, then actually gave us a private moment to taste each one and decide what we wanted.
I (bride) am pretty particular about cake. My mom makes the best which means I’m not a fan of store bought cakes. I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy the cake at my wedding. I was just getting one because of tradition. However, after the tasting, I realized I would very much be eating cake at my wedding because it was a very close comparison to my mother’s cakes. When choosing the cake, we did not struggle with who we should pick, but which flavors did we want to include. Everything went perfect the day of the wedding with the cake set up. The delivery company knew exactly where to put the cake and it tasted DELICIOUS!! We highly, highly recommend this company for your wedding.

gorgeous, delicious cakes!
Working with Heidi and her mother Marci had been such a pleasure from the get go - I fell in love with their mountain cake design (our wedding was in Estes Park), and scheduled a tasting in their home in Berthoud. The directions were very easy to follow and it was pleasant being in a home versus a busy strip mall or shopping plaza. I love supporting smaller businesses.
I enjoyed tasting every single piece of cake in front of me with my maid of honor, it was tough narrowing it down to three! We had a three layer cake and chose different flavors for each - the bottom layer was strawberry with champagne cream filling, the middle layer was violet lavender with a honey cream filling, and the top layer was lemon silk with a blueberry cream filling. All were phenomenal.
All of our guests, even those who claim to not like sweets, loved our cake - we had the Enchanted Florist in Estes Park add some floral accents, as well. Our cake was so good we hardly had any left over! Hope to have an opportunity to work with them again. :)

A delight from first bite
Colorado Rose Cake Company has the most delicious cakes/cupcakes we’ve ever had! Heidi is a delight to work with and was excellent at being able to help us figure out how to design the desserts. CRCC is prompt in their responses and flawlessly delivered on the wedding day. We had a guest who had a substantial gluten allergy and CRCC was very thorough in explaining how their facility handled gluten-free cupcakes and the risk of gluten contamination. They were also very accommodating by providing a small box at the individual’s seat with the gluten-free cupcakes. They really went above and beyond for our wedding!. Colorado Rose did a beautiful job on my daughter's wedding cake. Four months prior to the event we spent a fun afternoon sampling their cakes--delicious! In deciding on the style we selected a few of theirs that we liked and had them use their artistic talents to do our cake. We were not specific other than providing a range of colors and requesting some metallic accents. Their creation was stunning and just what my daughter was hoping for. They were helpful in choosing the appropriate size for our crowd--though, we could probably have done something a bit smaller--there was plenty! But it was beautiful and delicious and that's the main thing! I definitely recommend them.

It was such a delight to work with Marci. She did an amazing job of taking my thoughts and turning them into something beautiful. I only had some sort of vague ideas on things that I wanted and her suggestions created something amazing. The cake was beautifully done, and included not a small amount of script icing that had to be done by hand. Everyone raved about it and not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! I am not generally a dessert person but I had five, FIVE, pieces of my wedding cake. Everyone who needs cake should get theirs from here!

Marci is an absolute joy to work with! Our cake tasting and planning session was my husband’s favorite part of wedding planning. You can’t go wrong with any flavor you choose because they are all delicious. We ended up with a four-tier cake of three different flavors with a beautiful mountain/forest frosting design. Not only was it delicious but it was stunning! Marci is an artist and is the best at what she does. We loved the look of our wedding cake, as it was simple, just as we requested, but beautiful! Our guests raved about our cake flavors. Who wants too go with boring vanilla and buttercream when you can have cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing?!

I am so pleased that we selected Colorado Rose Cake company. The cake was by far, the best I've ever tasted. Quite a few guests made a point to tell us how wonderful it was. The cake was decorated so beautifully that many guests were shocked to find out that it was real. Marci is charming and wonderful to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Colorado Rose.

Marci was very easy to work with. When we met with her I had a picture of the cake I wanted but after walking into her studio another cake on display caught both of our eyes and we said that was the cake. There are many flavor choices and they were all so good it was hard to choose. We also had a groom cake where we ordered a edible silk piece of a picture to go on the cake. Both of our cakes looked great and tasted great. I am so glad we have the top piece to ourselves in a year :). Since she also knew our florist they worked together to have some of flowers to go on the cake. Everything looked and tasted wonderful.

Marci made is the most amazing and beautiful wedding cake. The cake was truly outstanding, she customized it for me and my husband by adding different trees to her design, because we actually met in the mountains of the desert. And this cake was absolutely DELICIOUS. I've been to many weddings where the cake tastes so-so, this was absolutely fantastic tasting on top of being gorgeous. She drove all the way out to Estes Park for us and set it up. Thank you so much Marci, it was gorgeous!!!

Marci turned our (somewhat blurry) vision for our cake into an absolute dream! We knew we wanted a castle design with certain colors and elements - she had never created something quite like that before but was so excited to make our cake. Through a combination of pictures on Pinterest (none of which were quite what we wanted, but had pieces that we liked) and detailed questions, she was able to create an incredible springtime, ivy-covered 3-tier castle cake within our budget. She even included hidden Mickey Mouse ears on the cake as my husband and I are big Disney fans! The kids at the wedding had a blast spotting those.
That's just the design - the taste was even better! Our guests raved about the cinnamon bun cake layer and the chocolate was fantastic as well! So many cakes out there are pretty dry and blah but Colorado Rose Cake's was the perfect balance of cream filling, flavor, and deliciousness. If you have to eat gluten free like me, order your cake here! My gluten free butter pecan cake was phenomenal (and I'm picky about GF baked goods) and Marci tied it in so well to the theme with our main cake. Trust us, you want Marci and her team to be a part of your wedding!

Colorado Rose was my #1 choice for our wedding cake and desserts bites not just because I have known Heidi and Marci for many years but also because they are simply the best at creating delicious beautiful specialty desserts. From the unique look I was going for with un tiered cakes to the precious and beautiful desserts bites, everything was perfect. Very creative, very flexible and they put together the most exquisite, unique and more beautiful than I could have imagined dessert table. Also I was contacted prior to the wedding to ensure everything was setup. The cake was beautiful and just customized as we requested. She also delivered the cake on her birthday.

We loved our wedding cake! We were having difficulty choosing the cake flavors for our cake during the tasting because they were all delicious. Marci made our wedding cake, and it was amazing. Marci met with us and we had a tasting with her at her house. She had books and books and even a display of cakes she has done before. The options were endless with her. She sat and listened to exactly what we wanted. Dylan and I had two different flavors and two different layers for our cake. Triple chocolate cake with salted Carmel filling and vanilla chai cake with honey vanilla filling. The flavors were a hit. Marci was even able to accommodate the fact that we wanted whipped cream frosting. We were so impressed with the taste. Marci also made a customer letter for the top of the cake and we were able to rent a log stand form her as well. She responds to email s very quickly. I would highly recommend Marc!

I would absolutely have to recommend the Colorado Rose Cake Company for your cake needs! The different flavors they offer and the beautiful work Marci and her team do, it is just the best! I was very happy with the outcome of our cake and cupcakes, it was perfect, exactly as I had imagined it! We had 3 flavors and each of them were so delicious, that we didn't not have any leftover, as we had hoped. I was looking forward to enjoying more of this cake the next day but it was all gone, good sign that the baker did an amazing job!

This is a local home-based business, and a GREAT one at that! Walking into Marci's house is like entering the most beautiful cake-land. Her designs and execution are so beautiful!! The cake is so tasty and there are SO many flavors/combinations to choose from. This was a very easy decision. Marci is so sweet, accommodating, and reassuring. I just know our cake will be delicious, delivered on time, and BEAUTIFUL! We're renting a cake stand from CO Rose Cake company too....a piece we won't need past the wedding and will be ornate/beautiful during the wedding.

She has lots of displays to help you to find exactly what you like and the favors..... They will blow you away. We really enjoyed working with Marci! She took the time to sit down with us, guide us through a personal tasting, and talk to us about our vision for the cake and desserts for our reception. I literally squealed with delight when I saw our cake the first time. It was AWESOME. I almost felt bad about cutting it and ruining the beautiful design...and then I tasted it. Just as light, fluffy, and delicious as everyone else has said. Our favorite by far was the strawberry cream cake, but the strawberry lemonade was gone by the end of the night!

Colorado Rose recently made my daughter's cake for her wedding at the Fort Collins Marriott. We first tasted her cake at a bridal faire and we were instantly sold. We later went to two more and it got to where we could identify her cakes blind folded, not kidding. We had a wonderful cake-tasting session at her house and my daughter and her fiancé chose 3 different flavors, no problem for Marci. The cake looked exactly as ordered and was wonderful!

The Colorado Rose and Cake Company did an OUTSTANDING job for my daughters wedding reception. Of all the vendors and services needed for the reception, this quickly became the one item I stopped worrying about yet this was such a crucial element for a successful reception. Our thoughts and requests were carefully taken into consideration and incorporated into the finished product. The selection & models of possible designs were extensive. The flavors for the cake and icing were extensive. The finished product was elegant. Our guests all highlighted the cake as delicious. The cake was delivered and setup right on schedule with coordinating flower touches added to the cake to match the table flower arrangements. Fabulous experience all the way around.

Marci provided us a tasting of her delicious cakes a few months before the wedding. After going to a few other vendors, we were amazed with all the flavors, how moist the cakes were and just how unbelievably delicious her cakes were. We put a down payment down without even discussing it and cleared the sample plate. Marci delivered the cake for the wedding, set it up, put final details on it. It looked absolutely amazing as a centerpiece. Almost as amazing as it tasted. MmmmMmmMmmm!

Marci made my cake for me wedding on 4/18/15 and it was beyond PERFECT! It was everything I had hoped for an more. The frosting, designs and everything else were absolutely flawless! Every one of guest thought that it was a fake cake because it looked so amazing. Not only did it look great but it tasted fantastic too! The flavors and fillings were to die for! You won't regret choosing Marci as your cake designer, she was wonderful! Very nice, helpful, patient, and she was just overall fantastic! Thank you for making my day so special Marci !!!:)

Colorado Rose gave me my dream wedding cake and grooms cake!! Our guests are still ranting and raving on how it was the most delicious & moist cake they have EVER had at a wedding! The whole experience was so easy and they are open to almost any idea! The only issue we had was trying to narrow down the flavors at the complimentary test tasting! They are all SOOOO delicious!

We were married back in December, 2014. It was a winter wedding right around Christmas time. Our cake had three delicious layers and was topped with roses. Everyone loved each flavor. The cake was soft, moist and melted in your mouth! The service was excellent and it was such a pleasure to work with Colorado Rose. Thank you for your wonderful service!

After doing some online research, we decided to meet with Marci at Colorado Rose to possibly be our wedding cake maker. She provided a complementary cake tasting and we agreed on our favorites--spiced chai with buttercream and the honey lavender. She provided many photos for us to go over what we wanted for our cake and there were many live samples around for us to look at. She was very professional. We decided on the spot that Colorado Rose would be for us. We were not disappointed. Our cake was absolutely delicious! I asked for real frosting as I am not a fan of eating fondant and was pleased to find that she does not use it at all. While, I couldn't detect hints of honey lavender in our cake (maybe from having too much champagne) I was very pleased with our cake. It looked just as I dreamed. It was very moist and not overly sweet. We enjoyed having some leftovers the next morning, soooo good! The cake was delivered for us and our cake topper and a few flowers from the florist were placed on the cake for us. We are very happy all around with the service we received!

Marci at Colorado Rose was amazing to work with. Not only are her cakes works of art but they are incredibly delicious. She has so many unique flavors to choose from and she customized our cake and when we kept changing our mind on things she never got frustrated...she was great to work with. We added cupcakes around our cake and it was perfect. The kids loved them. Marci truly is an artist. Her cakes are memorable. Every one was talking about how awesome it looked and tasted.

The wedding cakes she makes are so beautiful and taste wonderful too. She takes care of all the little details, which makes planning the wedding that much more less stressful. Very easy to work with and I felt like her prices were very affordable for what you get.

Colorado Rose was so fun to work with and very flexible! They created delicious cupcakes for our wedding and designed them so pretty. They did better than I could have imagined myself. They also created a small tier for just my husband and me, and designed it to look like an aspen trunk. Also, they had wooden slabs we could use to display everything which fit our mountain theme perfect. Everyone raved about how delicious they were and one of my friends is using Colorado Rose for her wedding now! Highly recommend! :)

Marci did an amazing job with our cake. When we first visited for our tasting I was amazed at all the different flavors and options that were available. I think we tasted about 12-15 different flavors and that wasn't all of them! We ended up choosing 3 different flavors; one for each tier. The cake was perfectly decorated as we discussed.

Marci with colorado rose always does a fantastic job. She has done all my families weddings & we are always more than pleased with her cakes. Not only the best tasting cake (really) but beautiful & very well priced (she could definitely charge more) I gave her a very unique design & she did it beautifully. If u r doing a colorado wedding your cake has to be done by Marci if you want the best!

Colorado Rose Cake Company created a gorgeous and delicious cake for our recent elopement. The cake we had planned on was a lovely one-tier cake perfect for bride and groom. At the last minute, I decided I also wanted a top tier in order to have the tradition of eating it on our first anniversary. Marci was so gracious in allowing this last minute change. The cake itself was so pretty and was out of this world good! I can't say enough about Marci and her amazing creation!

Our wedding cake was definitley one the focal points of evening. We had the pleasure of seeing Marci's amazing work prior to our wedding at my sister engagement party. Colorado Rose was the obvious choice for cake on our big day.
Marci made the planning process so simple and stress free. We gave her the inspiration and color scheme of our wedding. After that we let Marci run with design of the cake, and we were blown away with the outcome. Our guests commented all night about how stunning the cake was.
We had so many choices of filling and flavors for the cake, and Marci was amazing at making some great recommendation. We also had Marci make some cannolis for us as it is one of our favorite desserts!
All though we have to say the best part of the cake was the figurine Marci was able to create of our dog that recently passed away. She cleverly had the figurine placed at the back the cake and made it look like she was eating her way out of the cake. This was true to our dog Murray's personality and it was most amazing way we were able to incorporate her in our special day.
Words can not explain how Marci made our wedding cake so special!

Our cake was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. We had three tiers, each with a different flavor. The whipped frosting was perfect and the design was exactly what I wanted! This mother daughter team is incredible.

Our cake was perfect! We had a 3 tier round cake to feed 75 guests, and we chose: chocolate chocolate chip with creme brulee filling, strawberry cake with champagne filling, and pumpkin cake with cream cheese filling. All of them were divine!
We met the owner at her home for the tasting, and we were impressed by all of her cakes and flavor combinations. The strawberry cake has real strawberries in the cake!
We showed her two images from pinterest: one of an ombre textured frosting, and one of an arrangement of fresh orchids on the cake. She executed both the ombre and the orchid placement beautifully.
We couldn't be happier with the results!

Seriously the best cake I have ever ate!! The crazy part it was our wedding cake. There was no way I was expecting our cake to taste as good as it looked, and we had a beautiful cake!! Colorado rose makes incredible cakes!! Not only are the beautiful but they taste delicious. We opted for their "budget cake" (only two layers of cake per tier instead of four) and it turned out beautifully. Our florist provided flowers to add to the intricate swirl icing decoration and made for the perfect wedding cake. Colorado rose delivered the cake the day of the wedding with no fuss. I didn't even see the cake until we walked into the reception venue. They provided a cake stand and picked it up after the ceremony. It was so seamless! Thank you colorado rose for the wonderful cake!!!

Marci was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. The only problem we had with her was narrowing down the flavors! We finally settled on two flavors for our main cake and two flavors of mini cupcakes (which were a hit). But then, about a month before our wedding, inspiration struck and I emailed her to ask if she could possibly do a groom's cake without him knowing. My (now) husband loves video games and I wanted to make a cake to celebrate that since he went along with my ideas for the rest of the wedding. I had only a general idea and a few pictures to give her, but what she came up with was spectacular. Some of my favorite pictures of the day are of the absolute surprise when he saw the cake. I am notoriously bad at keeping secrets, so I was very proud that we were able to pull it off. The fact that it tasted as good as it looked was just... icing on the cake. I know that's a cringe-worthy pun, but it's the only thing that seemed appropriate. She knows what she's doing, works well with the Wild Basin Lodge and others in the area, and is very flexible. Definitely one of the most pleasant parts of wedding planning!

Our wedding cake from Colorado Rose was ah-MAZING! Not only was it by far the most delicious cake I have EVER had, but it was downright gorgeous! Marci worked with us to create a beautiful and totally unique wedding cake. I still can't believe how perfect it was. The cake was SO delicious that I continued to crave it for many many months after the wedding.
We decided to go with two flavors for our wedding cake: butter chocolate with Bavarian cream filling for one layer, and amaretto with raspberry filling for the bottom and top layers. They were incredible! It was a tough decision though because every flavor we tried with them was amazing!
You can't go wrong with any cake from Colorado Rose. I can't recommend them enough!

The cake that was made my Colorado Rose Cake Company was not only delicious but BEAUTIFUL! I expected to have left over cake but the guests loved it and many went up for seconds. The detail on the outside of the cake was outstanding and they far exceeded my expectations.
