So grateful for Marissa and her team with Colorado Bridal Artistry. I felt so at ease from the trial to wedding day. Marissa is the best communicator and amazingly talented. I ended up changing our plan for hair from the trial and Marissa immediately rolled with it and I ended up absolutely loving the outcome. Kitty did my makeup and it turned out beautiful. Both my hair and makeup ended up surviving all the wind, twirling/dancing, and many hugs. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law all looked stunning as well. Can't recommend enough! -

I am so glad I hired Marissa for my wedding!! Working with her was extremely easy from the very beginning. I’m very picky with my hair and makeup, but immediately knew her work fit exactly the vibe I was going for. She and her team are extremely talented!!! At the trial, I was blown away, and knew that Marissa would have me feeling like my most confident self on my big day. My wedding was this past weekend and my hair and makeup were flawless. I even wanted a few changes to my hair and makeup and they were executed flawlessly. I looked amazing all day- even through crying happy tears, my makeup still held up!!!! Not to mention my hair held up through tons of hugs, and dancing the night away. Colorado bridal artistry and Marissa are the best- book them!!!!!! -

You won’t regret it!
When we got engaged, we knew right away that the traditional wedding route wasn’t for us. We wanted something that felt true to who we are and that’s when we started searching for an elopement location and settled on the beautiful Colorado! While that decision was exciting, it was also a bit scary! I had to find a HMUA from a completely different state! How was I going to do that? I scoured instagram and landed upon Colorado Bridal Artistry! I reached out to them and a couple of other artists in the area. I knew right away that Marissa was the one for me by her communication and excitement for my big day!
Although she made me feel instantly at ease with our texts and pictures over the coming months, I admit that I still had some nerves! I had never had my makeup or hair done professionally, in addition to never using extensions! Since we weren’t going to be able to do a trial run (due to me visiting from Kansas), we were basically just winging it on wedding day!
When I tell you that I was impressed with Marissa, I was IMPRESSED! She took my vision and turned it into life! I didn’t want to look like someone else on my wedding day…just an upgraded, polished version of me and she accomplished it! My make up held through many, many tears and rain! My hair tried very hard to hold my beautiful curls…but after a long time in the pouring rain…they turned into waves (but that is NOT due to Marissa’s efforts and talent)! Nothing could have held up in it!
Besides her amazing talents, Marissa made getting ready for my elopement so much easier! She was so sweet and peppy! I was definitely feeling overwhelmed with everything going on around me and she brought me back to the moment with her conversation and professionalism! I couldn’t be more pleased with Marissa and her company, Colorado Bridal Artistry! Please don’t hesitate to book her, she is amazing and you will not regret it on one of the biggest days of your life! -Sara Lawrence -

So grateful for Marissa and Darcie! I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup team for my wedding day. Marissa and Darcie were both amazing to work with, super talented, easy-going, and just overall lovely people to have around on such an important day.
Marissa absolutely nailed the hairstyle I had in mind and it stayed in place throughout the entire evening, including a lot of dancing! Darcie really listened to what I wanted for makeup and she made me feel natural, but still have that bridal glow.
I worked with Marissa throughout the entire booking process and she was super responsive and made sure to follow-up to schedule the bridal trial, and was very communicative about the timeline before the big day. I can’t recommend enough!Colorado Bridal Artistry's reply:

Marissa with Colorado Bridal Artistry was absolutely incredible! She brought my hair vision to life perfectly—I couldn’t have been happier with the result. Hair and makeup artists often don’t get the recognition they deserve because they aren’t at the wedding itself, but truthfully, my bridal party spent the majority of the day getting ready with Marissa and her amazing team.
She not only made us all feel so beautiful, but also brought such a fun, upbeat energy to the morning. Her presence was full of smiles and laughter, which set the perfect tone for the day.

I cannot recommend Colorado Bridal Artistry enough! From start to finish, everything was flawless. I worked with Lisa for hair and Deaudra for makeup, both of whom were incredibly talented, professional, and fun to be around on such an important day. They truly made me and my entire bridal party feel so special.
My hair and makeup lasted all night long - through photos, the ceremony, dancing, and everything in between. I still looked and felt amazing by the end of the night. Each of my bridesmaids loved their individual looks as well; Lisa and Deaudra really took the time to make sure everyone felt comfortable and beautiful.

I had an absolute dream wedding pictured and my biggest fear was my hair. I have thin hair and have always wanted braids and texture without adding a bunch of extensions and weight. The dream seemed impossible until I found Marissa! She is so talented and crafted my hair into something truly beautiful. I wasn’t 1000% positive on what I wanted but I knew the vibe. With nothing more than vague comments she built my dream look. We had 9 bridesmaids and her team was so kind and excellent with everyone in the wedding party. We were on time and yet didn’t feel rushed or hurried in any way!!!
For makeup - wow wow wow!!! Magician/Artist best describes Devon!!! I asked for modern day Snow White and he worked absolute perfection! My skin was glowing, my lashes were never felt during the whole night and he hand mixed my dream shade of lipstick! I’ve never felt more beautiful ever!!! An absolute dream to work with!

Colorado Bridal Artistry was professional and communicative from start to finish! I really appreciated the communication, as there are so many details to figure out as your wedding day approaches. Marissa is an excellent make up artist, and I am very happy with my wedding photos! I don't wear a lot of make up on a daily basis, so she helped me to make adjustments after the initial trial, to get my look balanced between what I am used to, and what would look great for photos. Harmony did an excellent job with my hair (including extensions and a decorative hairpiece!) and was also happy to make any adjustments I asked for. They also did hair for 7 others in my party! I highly recommend Colorado Bridal Artistry for your wedding day or special event. They are fabulous! -

Best start to my wedding day!!
Obsessed with my hair and makeup! Not only was Marissa early but she also had me check all along the way to see if anything needed adjusting. As someone who considers chapstick makeup and a ponytail as a hairstyle, I felt so comfortable and confident leaning on her expertise! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from my trial all the way to the end of my big day. I couldn’t tell the difference from the first photo to the last, my hair and makeup stayed flawless. Marissa was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process!! She was flexible, receptive, kind, honest, and diligent in her work! Prior to the wedding, I had the opportunity of getting to know her during hair trials and other hair appointments! She is so easy to talk to and a genuine, kind, hard-working person! It was very important to my ~HUSBAND~ and me that we loved the vendors we hired. Marissa totally fit in with that goal! In the "getting ready room", she was simultaneously professional and fun. Several of my bridesmaids later told me that they really enjoyed chatting with her and loved that she added to the relaxed and fun atmosphere in the room! The hair she styled was flawless! I felt like a literal princess and also like myself, which was really important to me! She does a fantastic job highlighting everyone's natural beauty. Additionally, Kitty was a wonderful makeup artist who also helped me feel natural and yet like a model!! I would recommend Marissa to anyone in a heartbeat! Marissa did an incredible job. All of my bridesmaids/mom loved her doing their hair! She was so quick and adjusted fast to anything they wanted.
For me (the bride) she was like my best friend on the day. We had the full day together but 2 hours she spent making sure everything was right for me. She talked to me, and was so kind and caring through the entire day. My hair and make up was perfect- and she made sure of it. I really appreciate her, and so thankful I had her as my person on this day! -

Marissa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped do makeup on 3/4 people for a 10 set styled shoot and knocked the inspo out of the ball park. She was adaptive to all the on site changes that happen the day of and am for ever grateful for how calm she was while handling it. I had the pleasure of working with Marissa for my bridal hair and makeup. She is truly a skilled artist. From the initial trial to the big day, Marissa exhibited professionalism, talent, and a genuine commitment to ensuring I looked and felt my best.
During the trial, I wasn't initially thrilled with my look because of my own lack of familiarity with makeup and skincare. I wasn't accustomed to seeing texture on my skin, as I typically don't wear makeup and hadn't been diligent about skincare. Despite my initial hesitation, Marissa was incredibly understanding and open to hearing my feedback. She graciously offered to meet with me again to create a lighter makeup look that better suited my preferences and comfort level.
On the wedding day, Marissa created a stunning hair and makeup look that complemented my features. I have notoriously difficult hair that refuses to hold a curl for more than a couple of hours. However, thanks to Marissa's expertise, my curls stayed intact for a remarkable eight hours, lasting well into the festivities without faltering.
Marissa's talent, professionalism, and willingness to listen and adapt make her an exceptional choice for any bride-to-be. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you're looking for a bridal hair and makeup artist who will not only make you look beautiful but also prioritize your comfort and satisfaction, Marissa is the perfect choice. Marissa is the absolute best!
I feel so lucky to have connected with Marissa for my bridal hair and makeup! I have thick hair and she created the most amazing braid, I’m still in love just thinking about it. Colorado Bridal Artistry
Marisa and her team were phenomenal. She did exactly what I asked, as I don't wear make up... ever! And she made my look glamorous and natural looking and my husband absolutely adored it. His words "you still look like the you that I love". She traveled to my venue too and to top off all the amazing girls she worked on... my sister flew in to surprise me (Covid... so she wasn't able to come originally) and Marissa knew , kept the secret and made my sisters look like the bombshells that they are! They loved their looks and she was great with the lip shades to their preference! Even my mom was happy with her makeup and hair, and she also doesn't do make up almost ever. Marissa is truly gifted and a total natural at her art. Very attentive, and my wedding was 3 years ago. I still use her for all my inner diva needs! Such a gem to have in my life and she really gets the mood, sleepy or chatty she rolls with it!
