Marissa is everything you want for your wedding day hair and make-up! She is super talented and is such a pleasure to work with! Not only is she extremely skilled at both hair and make-up, she’s an absolute joy to be around and has a way with brides! She is the total package!

We had the absolute best experience with Colorado Bridal Artistry for our wedding day! They did hair and makeup for me (the bride), my mom, and my sister/Maid of Honor, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out.

Dee was our hair and makeup artist, and she was absolutely amazing! She came directly to our venue, which made the morning so easy and stress-free, and she was such a fun person to have around while we were getting ready. She was incredibly efficient while still making sure each of us felt beautiful, comfortable, and completely ourselves.

Having someone as talented and personable as Dee there with us made the morning of our wedding even more special. We loved spending that time together, and we all felt absolutely beautiful when we were ready to walk down the aisle!

Marissa did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and I couldn't have been happier with the results! From the moment I met her for my trial, she was incredibly warm, kind, and invested in bringing exactly what I had in mind to life. She made it clear that I could tell her what I liked or disliked at any point during the trial process, or even afterwards over email. I did have some adjustments that I wanted made, and she was super responsive and receptive. On my actual wedding day, she made me feel so comfortable and made sure to address all of the adjustments we discussed. The end result was even 100x better than the trial! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup, which lasted through the night and a lot of dancing! Would strongly recommend Colorado Bridal Artistry.

So grateful for Marissa and her team with Colorado Bridal Artistry. I felt so at ease from the trial to wedding day. Marissa is the best communicator and amazingly talented. I ended up changing our plan for hair from the trial and Marissa immediately rolled with it and I ended up absolutely loving the outcome. Kitty did my makeup and it turned out beautiful. Both my hair and makeup ended up surviving all the wind, twirling/dancing, and many hugs. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law all looked stunning as well. Can't recommend enough!

I am so glad I hired Marissa for my wedding!! Working with her was extremely easy from the very beginning. I’m very picky with my hair and makeup, but immediately knew her work fit exactly the vibe I was going for. She and her team are extremely talented!!! At the trial, I was blown away, and knew that Marissa would have me feeling like my most confident self on my big day. My wedding was this past weekend and my hair and makeup were flawless. I even wanted a few changes to my hair and makeup and they were executed flawlessly. I looked amazing all day- even through crying happy tears, my makeup still held up!!!! Not to mention my hair held up through tons of hugs, and dancing the night away. Colorado bridal artistry and Marissa are the best- book them!!!!!!

When we got engaged, we knew right away that the traditional wedding route wasn’t for us. We wanted something that felt true to who we are and that’s when we started searching for an elopement location and settled on the beautiful Colorado! While that decision was exciting, it was also a bit scary! I had to find a HMUA from a completely different state! How was I going to do that? I scoured instagram and landed upon Colorado Bridal Artistry! I reached out to them and a couple of other artists in the area. I knew right away that Marissa was the one for me by her communication and excitement for my big day!

Although she made me feel instantly at ease with our texts and pictures over the coming months, I admit that I still had some nerves! I had never had my makeup or hair done professionally, in addition to never using extensions! Since we weren’t going to be able to do a trial run (due to me visiting from Kansas), we were basically just winging it on wedding day!

When I tell you that I was impressed with Marissa, I was IMPRESSED! She took my vision and turned it into life! I didn’t want to look like someone else on my wedding day…just an upgraded, polished version of me and she accomplished it! My make up held through many, many tears and rain! My hair tried very hard to hold my beautiful curls…but after a long time in the pouring rain…they turned into waves (but that is NOT due to Marissa’s efforts and talent)! Nothing could have held up in it!

Besides her amazing talents, Marissa made getting ready for my elopement so much easier! She was so sweet and peppy! I was definitely feeling overwhelmed with everything going on around me and she brought me back to the moment with her conversation and professionalism! I couldn’t be more pleased with Marissa and her company, Colorado Bridal Artistry! She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect—even when I wanted to tweak a few things after my trial, she asked all the right questions and made sure my look was exactly what I dreamed of. Marissa and Natalie did such an amazing job getting me and my girls ready for my wedding! They were so flexible beforehand with any changes we had and they truly helped me remain stress free the day of. I highly recommend them!!!

Marissa is a queen. Part of the reason I booked her in the first place was because of how professional and responsive she was, following up with me and answering a million of my questions from the get-go. She was so sweet and easy to talk to during my trial and gave me so many great tips and suggestions, I felt at ease with her! She was also so flexible with scheduling as we had a very tight timeline and had to start fairly early on the day. At my trial, she did exactly what I asked for which was great! However, when I sat for a few hours after, turns out I didn’t love the look on myself and was nervous to tell her I wanted to change things up from my trial as I didn’t want to offend her. But she was so understanding and open to what I wanted and actually KILLED IT. I loved my look, it was glowy, natural, and made me feel so incredibly beautiful! My hair lasted all night too! Her co-worker Angela was also such a sweetheart and so easy to talk to! She nailed the makeup looks for all my friends and they loved getting pampered! Angela also offered to help coordinate and be flexible with my spray tan to try to accommodate my schedule. They are a dream team and so talented!

So grateful for Marissa and Darcie! I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup team for my wedding day. Marissa and Darcie were both amazing to work with, super talented, easy-going, and just overall lovely people to have around on such an important day.

Marissa absolutely nailed the hairstyle I had in mind and it stayed in place throughout the entire evening, including a lot of dancing! Darcie really listened to what I wanted for makeup and she made me feel natural, but still have that bridal glow.

I worked with Marissa throughout the entire booking process and she was super responsive and made sure to follow-up to schedule the bridal trial, and was very communicative about the timeline before the big day. I can’t recommend enough!
