Amazing work, and very flexible

Olga and her team were very professional from the get go, and very flexible and responsive to feedback. I love her work and feel as though she understood exactly what look I was going for. There were a few last minute schedule changes with my photographer, and Olga was very flexible and able to move her day around as well to make things flow smoother. Would highly recommend for your wedding!

Working with Olga was great!

It was great working with Olga! She did our hair and makeup for a birthday party and it looked amazing! She was very professional, punctual, and took pride in her work. I’ll be keeping her in mind for hair and makeup services in the future. I would definitely recommend her for services!

Hair & Makeup for Elegant Wedding

Olga was extremely pleasant to work with. She was very responsive and catered to my wants with doing my hair and makeup for an elegant wedding. She traveled about an hour and a half to where my event was- which was wonderful, since I wanted to stay on site to my event. Such a pleasure of a person and will definitely use her again!

Olga was a true professional. She listened to what I wanted and did a fabulous job. I chose 2 hairstyles and she combined the two for a beautiful look. My makeup was flawless all day and night! I would recommend Olga in a second and am planning to use her for another wedding I am going to!!

Olga is a delightful and warm makeup artist. I made a last minute appointment and she provided her wonderful services. She styled, teased and curled my hair. Olga defined my eyes with the correct color and tones. I had a gorgeous 60's look, perfect for black tie 60th birthday party event. I was told I looked like the actress Pam Gier from the movie Jackie Brown.

Amazing Job!!

Olga was so kind and she worked extremely well and finished perfectly on time. She made my whole prom experiences truly magical, for starters the hair style I wanted, she did exactly how I wanted it to be done and I was so impressed with how beautifully my curls flow down and lasted the entire night!! Secondly, my makeup was perfectly well done, and it stood in all my pictures. She is so talented, and I received so many compliments the entire night. I'm so grateful to have found such an amazing person, as well as someone who could do an amazing, gorgeous job. I recommended her to a couple of people and will for sure be booking her soon. So if you ever want to look amazing on your big day, don't hesitate and book her asap! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Fantastic work!

Olga was fantastic!!
She really saved the day after my hair/makeup girl canceled on me for my wedding.
I was worried because we didn’t even have time for a trial, but everything was perfect!
She did the makeup for my mom and mother-in-law, and they were both very happy.
For my hair, it was better than I imagined it could ever be! Olga was able to advise me in what she thought would be the best look for the day. I had no issues with my hair throughout the whole day as well.
Everything held very well.
For my makeup, it was a very fresh, natural look for the daytime, and I loved how it turned out.
Olga was so responsive and very prompt on the day, as well as being very kind and professional.
I highly recommend Olga for your wedding and/or special event needs!!

1st Holy Communion Hairdo

Olga is terrific. She did my eight year olds hair for her first holy communion. I showed her a photo of what I wanted. The hairstyle that she created was much more elegant and prettier than the photo I had given her. She is a great person and you can tell she has a true passion for creating hairstyles. Her rate is very reasonable for coming to you.
I have booked her to come back in July to do my daughters hair. I highly recommend Olga without reservation

Amazing experience

I was a guest at a wedding and needed someone to do my makeup and hair and Olga definitely delivered. She was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about makeup. I was impressed with Olga from the beginning . She was very responsive to my questions and very professional . I scheduled a trail makeup which she did in my home . She was prompt and followed good health protocols - she even took her own temperature ! She has a great personality and immediately put me at ease. I have been struggling to find the right concealer/foundation for my skin as I have hyper pigmentation on my face. I went to several branded makeup stores and I was recommended a different shade every time I went there. I was frustrated and reached out to Olga.. I’m so glad I did. She is the best!! Even before our appointment, she shared so many tips and recommendations via email. She is very professional and knows how to make the client happy and look pretty! Olga was amazing!!!! I had a wedding to go too and I needed my hair done and it was so last minute. But she could still fit me in she did exactly what I asked for, she was very prepared brought everything she needed ASO a big bonus she came right to my hotel room!!! We chatted the whole time had such great conversations she really is so easy to talk too. Prefect Wedding Look!

Olga was extremely accommodating and so amazing! I did a trial with her and was so happy with the results could not wait for the D day! She is wonderful to work with! Beautiful Make up soo Natural

Thank you OLGa for making my wedding day full of beauty . She did traditional and airbrush makeup for my bridesmaids and they were soooooo pretty and had the natural look. Olga traveled quite some distance to style my hair for my Saint Patrick's Day wedding. Not only was she sweet, kind and reasonably priced (even considering the distance she had to travel) but she also gave me a style that matched the essence of my inspirational photos. Baby Shower

I first used Olga's services for my wedding on 2/25/11. She styled my thick hair in no time and did amazing airbrush makeup using natural colors.
For my baby shower on 10/27/18, she did the same. Both days were rainy and windy and I was so thankful she travelled to my home with all of her gear. She also made me laugh during stressful moments. I highly recommend this vendor! :)

They can pull off any look and are flexible with what you ask them to do. I personally had some changes with my look and my wedding party's looks - and they still pulled it off without hesitation. They are also prompt and always on time!
Olga is very good at keeping-in-touch and making sure she has your look down pact. Their services go above and beyond what I could of ever expected! Also, for the Bride that's on a Budget - their prices are fair and reasonable - and to be honest ALOT cheaper than some other quotes I got. However, make no mistake - you will be very happy with the quality of their services!

Olga did hair and makeup for my wedding at the Museum of the Moving Image. She and her assistant did both hair and makeup for myself, 2 bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in law. She arrived on time and completed everything even slightly earlier than expected so we were able to stay right on time.

Olga was very accommodating throughout the trial and on the day. After having second thoughts about some of the makeup after the trial, Olga listened to my concerns and adjusted accordingly on the day and I got exactly what I wanted. She and her assistant listened to all of the other ladies' preferences and made appropriate changes to make everyone happy. I was very pleased with my look and Olga's services. Very professional and efficient and I would definitely recommend her.

Words can't begin to describe how happy I was with Olga and her Assistant Ana! First of all, they did exactly what I asked for at my trial, which is why I booked them for my event! They are both very professional and are always on time! The day of my event, Olga went above and beyond by offering to help with my sister's hair and Ana helped with my sister's makeup. They also make very helpful and friendly suggestions with hairstyles depending on what look you are going for. Myself, my Mom and my Sister were all extremely satisfied with our looks and Olga and Ana's services! We also got a ton of compliments! Olga's prices are very reasonable and she also sells beautiful accessories. In my opinion, you need to look no further for a makeup artist/hairstylist, I certainly didn't! I had just set a date for my engagement photos and was struggling with finding a hair/makeup artist that had great reviews and could accommodate me given that I was having pictures done in a few weeks. After my photographer had to reschedule, I was afraid that the hair/makeup wouldn't work out with changing the date 2 to 3 weeks before. Ana and Olga were so wonderful and were able to accommodate me and the new engagement shoot date. They were very responsive to their email and gave detailed information of the process and even called to check in with me a couple times before meeting. I also chose to order my veil through them as well, and got a great selection to look through.
They were able to meet at my apartment which was great and their work shows how truly passionate and talented they are. I couldn't have been happier with the results and I got tons of compliments from friends, family and co workers!

Overall, this was by far the best choice I could have selected.

Olga from Color of Fashions did a wonderful job with my hair, my wedding party's, and my Godmother's hair for my wedding (4 women including myself) . We all all had beautiful hair styles and got many compliments for our hair on my special day. Olga is very professional, very patient, and was always responsive to me. Whenever I needed to contact her, she always responded quickly to me. She will travel to you for the trial and the day of the event. She even came to me for a second trial since I was unsure about the particular style I wanted for my wedding. She was very punctual, she took her time, and never rushed what she did; and got us all done with time to spare. She is gentle when dealing with hair and is concerned about all her clients. She, also, listened to what each and everyone of us wanted and made our vision for what we wanted a reality. She is a very kind and caring individual; which goes a long way. The prices are, also, very reasonable. Would definitely recommend Olga to anyone that wants to look fabulous on their wedding day or for any other special event.

I hired COF for my Oct 5 wedding. They came early to take care of me(bride) and my bridal party of 7. We all had to be ready by 230pm. They came well prepared and with professionalism and their skills we were done early. I had guests from out of town coming in and out my hotel room to see us getting ready. My bridal party complimented on the wonderful work that COF has provided us. Olga was great with me(bride)as I looked so beautiful and compliments were non stop from beginning to end. Olga was also very helpful when I wanted to ask questions via email weeks before my wedding so I can confirm a few things and or had any questions. She was very helpful with everything.

Day of the wedding, I was so happy with the end result and the wonderful and fast work COF has provided us to get us ready before our end time of 230 as ceremony was at 315pm. Olga is a great hair stylist/make-up artist that comes to you! My husband and me planned our wedding in a week, so I was doing everything the last minute. I contacted Olga 3 days before the wedding, she promptly responded and was in constant contact with me during those days. What caught my attention is super affordable prices and I didn't hesitate using her services. Even though it was a last minute call, Olga was very flexible and found time to do trial. Before the trial I send some pictures with hair and make-up ideas, and Olga did a great job replicating them. On a wedding day Olga was very good with timing and got my bridesmaid and me ready on time for the ceremony. It was a windy day but my curls held up all day through. In the evening my make up looked the same as in the morning, even after tears of happiness. Olga has a friendly personality, very professional and flexible. I used Color of Fashions for my hair and make-up on my wedding day and they were absolutely wonderful. Olga is a true professional with years of experience that really did an amazing job! Color of Fashions is reasonably priced compared to other hair and make-up artists and gave me a great deal that was worth every penny. The quality of work that Olga put forth really shows that she wants to make her clients happy at all times. She worked with me during my trial to try different hairstyles and different ways I would like to have my make-up done on the big day so everything would run smoothly on the day of. The day of my wedding Olga arrived early in the morning to set up and made sure that everything that we had done on the trial was ready to go so I would arrive on time to the ceremony that started at 10:15 a.m. Olga made sure that my hair and make-up turned out just as I wanted. I had Olga for my October 27, 2012 wedding for makeup and hair. I had her services for two of my bridesmaids.

I had been to at least five makeup artists for my 2/25/11 wedding and was not satisfied until I met Olga. Olga was flexible with the date/time of makeup trial. When she arrived, she was well prepared with a plethora of supplies. I was nervous that she would not be able to handle ethnic hair-but she surprised me. She not only nailed the hairstyle I wanted from a photo I showed, she did it quickly!

Olga and her assistant did an amazing job in all of us. Olga took care of me being the bride makeup and hair and her assidtant did the bridesmaids makeup while Olga did everyones hair. they are a good team and finished all of us with time to spare. they both listened to our concercerns what we wanted.

Olga is very friendly and relaxed yet still holds alot of professionlism. I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did on my special day with my makeup and hair. I felt so comfortable letting you do your thing and was just over the top with the result that it lasted through the day and night. My hair was exactly how i had always pictured it would be. The compliments were non stop throughout the whole wedding. I will have no hesitation recommending Olga to any bride getting married. Thanks so much for making the whole process so much fun and for being so great.

I am sorry for the late review. It was hectic after the wedding. Now things are at ease.

Olga was very efficient while providing hair services for my 7 clients for a wedding. I appreciated her professionalism and skillfulness, she was able to provide each of the women with styles according to their request. The clients were very pleased with their hairstyles for the evening.

Olga did my hair and makeup for New Year's Eve the other day. I just wanted to say everything came out fantastic and I got tons of compliments! Working with Olga was great. She was very accommodating and was able to work around my busy schedule (I had to work on NYE so timing was tight to get me made up and out of the house!).

I was very tired after working many consecutive nights at work. There was no way a simple makeup would work for the special event I had to attend.

Olga, is an amazing hair stylist and make-up artist. She worked with me in creating the look for my destination wedding. She tried different colors and hair styles and even took pictures of it for me to take it to my destination wedding makeup girl.

I was very happy with Olga’s service. It was easy – she came to my place! She gave me advice on makeup and she is very responsive to emails with questions. I have an appointment with her to do my Brazilian hair straighten and I can’t wait.

Olga was wonderful to work with. From the moment I spoke to her to schedule a trial to the day of my wedding she was professional and always listened to what I was trying to do with my hair. Olga worked to get my bridesmaids and myself ready quickly. She was great to work with and I would love to work with her again.

Wow. I didn't know I could give half a star, but I can and am. Olga is nice, but NOT a professional. I should have known that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and for my May 2011 wedding, I should have paid more b/c at the end of the day, MY PHOTOGRAPHER fixed my hair b/c Olga couldn't. She did a decent job w/ my bridesmaids, but completely went off the reservation with me, the bride. I think she would be great for a prom or a night out on the town, but DEFINITELY DO NOT USE HER FOR YOUR WEDDING HAIR... unless you're a bridesmaid or a guest at a wedding. If you're the bride, you will be unhappy. I repeat: pay a little bit more for real quality at a salon or highly recommended stylist. I made the mistake of finding Olga thru Craigslist. NOT A GOOD WAY TO GO and I def learned my lesson. Beware.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING UPDATE posted on 9/6/11: Olga sent me a diatribe based on my poor review. Based on the length of her response, I think it's fair to say that the client does NOT come first when it comes to working with Olga. Again, be smart and read between the lines (and all these super positive reviews, which I do not believe to be independent reviews, since they vaguely sound all the same and were probably written by Olga and her friends): rather than apologize, Olga's response was defensive and angry -- is this really the type of hairdresser you want ON YOUR WEDDING DAY? There's enough stress going on that day, so I will reiterate my point: You get what you pay for and I REALLY made a big mistake by not paying more and getting someone of higher quality and skill. I really wish I had spent more money and hired someone else. If I knew then what I know now, I definitely would have paid 2 or 3 times more than what I negotiated with Olga b/c the stress was not worth her cheap price. Good luck.
