Best food at a wedding we've ever had

We had the colonnade cater our wedding reception and it was truly impeccable! We had many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had and we 100% agreed. Could not recommend enough!

Delicious and Unique options!

Our experience with The Colonnade was excellent. They offer many options from a plated dinner to several levels of buffet. The entree and side options are plentiful and unique. I did not want to stray too far from tradition, but I didn't want the typical wedding dinner either. There are also many add ons to make your experience one of a kind as well. We chose to offer a sushi station during our cocktail hour, as well as late night sliders during the dancing part of our reception. Everything was delicious and worth it!

Millsite Lodge and The Colonnade

We had our October 8, 2022 at Millsite Lodge and could not have imagined a more perfect weekend! Ranae and the Millsite team was available for every question and every detail to make sure our wedding day was a success. The grounds are gorgeous, especially in the fall, and our guests felt right at home in the on-site accommodations. Our wedding guests are still raving about the food, catered by The Colonnade. The cupcakes were a crowd favorite! If we could relive our wedding weekend at Millsite Lodge over and over again, we would!

The team at the Millsite Lodge and Colonnade made the wedding of our dreams possible. They worked with us and our budget to make it possible. The food was amazing, the team was so amazing and the decorating turned out better then I could have imagined. Amazing Food and Bar Service!

We had a Sunday morning wedding with a brunch reception in August. Breakfast foods and drinks aren’t your typical wedding menu. The Colonnade catered our event and it was AMAZING!
They cared about all the details for our menu and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. They went above and beyond. Everyone was talking about how yummy everything was and how fun it was to have waffles, parfaits, biscuits, mimosas, and bloody Mary’s at a wedding reception. Thank you, Chef Heidi for the delicious food and super cute display stations! Everything was perfect!

Make this your wedding venue!

Make The Oak at Millsite Farm your wedding venue!! We are so thankful the Lord led us to The Oak at Millsite Farm. Our experience with Jewel, Tim, Beth and their team turned our daughter and new son's "special day" into a very special weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner on-site. The wedding party stayed at the guesthouse, which was very convenient! The wedding was outside under the oak tree (which has a branch that forms a lovely natural arch), and the reception was in the barn, with additional tables set up outside the barn. The barn was breathtakingly beautiful. The team transformed it into a charming, elegantly rustic hall. And the upstairs loft (perfect for the groom and groomsmen) was stunning! Jewel and her designer captured our daughter's vision and executed it perfectly. Beth made sure the food was beyond delicious! We heard (and have) high praise for the Pot Roast, Chicken with Red Pepper Sauce, Garlic Cavatappi and Spinach Artichoke Dip!! This is more than a business for this family. They genuinely care about what matters to you, and about YOU! Our guests still remark to me about how perfect everything was - food, decor, atmosphere, everything. Several have told me it was the best wedding they ever attended, for which all glory goes to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, with thanks to Jewel, Tim, Beth and their team. We were blessed to work with them, and you will be, too!!

Just got married at The Colonnade on 5/22/2021. Seriously the best day of my life! Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Wedding planning is so stressful and just a lot of work so I fell in love with the idea of no set up or clean up! And they make it so beautiful!!! You won’t get the service they provide anywhere else! Beth, Jewel, & Carla were such a pleasure to work with and helped so much!! I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding!

Wonderful Venue

We had our wedding at the Colonnade in April. Beth and Jewel were sooo helpful! I planned my wedding while living in alaska and they were more than accommodating. They took all the stress away of wedding planning and I had nothing to worry about on the day of. Everything was so beautiful and perfect. It was exactly what I imagined !

Our son and daughter-in-laws wedding

Our son's wedding was on December 12th. We booked the venue in February before the Covid Pandemic started. We had been so stressed as what to do and if we should cancel. We worked with both Beth and Jewel during this time. We had the wedding and a set down dinner for the wedding party only and rescheduled the reception for next year. Beth and Jewel were amazing to work with. They assured us we would have an awesome wedding on the 12th and dinner afterwards. They were truly amazing throughout all of the planning, answering any and all questions withsuch caring and kindness. We had the most relaxing, wonderful wedding. It was decorated so beautifully. They really went about any expectations we had. The venue was perfect. Our daughter-in-law got her perfect wedding. It was so great to see the bride and groom so happy. The dinner was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. We received so many compliments. Than you again for an wonderful experience.

Perfect Wedding!!

The family and staff of Millsite Lodge went above and beyond to give us our perfect fall wedding. The first time I met with Ranae and Beth I felt so comfortable with them. They answered all of my questions with such kindness, they calmed my nerves and I fell absolutely in love with Millsite Lodge.

My husband and I are from Cleveland and I never thought we would drive an hour outside of our favorite city to get married, but Millsite is such a special and beautiful place.

EVERYTHING was perfect. From the houses we stayed in for the weekend, the beautiful rehearsal dinner (the caramel apple cheesecake dessert I still dream about), the wedding morning breakfast, Devon and his team that did our beautiful decor and the Colonnade who made our delicious wedding food! I cannot say enough how many people still tell us how amazing our wedding food was! The chicken marsala was out of this world!

I cannot thank Ranae and Beth enough for such a perfect wedding weekend!

Amazing hosts, Gorgeous venue, Simply Perfect

Ranae and Danny were tremendous hosts throughout our entire stay! They worked with us to ensure the health and safety of our family by social distancing and following strict safety measures.

The venue on it's own is gorgeous, the rooms were spotless, and the food (generous portions) was divine. The outdoor space for our ceremony was lush and the perfect backdrop for gorgeous photos. Our guests loved spending time exploring the property, enjoying the fire pit and riding bikes all around. They accommodated all of our requests, adding such special touches that made every aspect of our event and stay memorable.

Ranae and Beth responded to every one of our emails within hours if not minutes with emails or phone calls, answering all of our questions, and asking us additional questions to ensure our big day was perfect. We booked our event, sight unseen, 3 weeks before our wedding, and the property far exceeded our expectations; the photos don't do it justice.

There aren't enough words to thank Ranae and Danny, we are so grateful. Millsite will hold a special place in our hearts forever.

Absolutely Amazing

Absolutely amazing is the only possible way to describe Millsite Lodge and the Colonnade! From the first time I met Beth and Renae they made me feel like family and deciding to book our wedding at Millsite Lodge was a no brainer. After driving down the pine tree lined driveway I knew there was no other place I would want to have my winter wonderland wedding! Not only is the venue stunning to begin with, but the decorations done by the Colonnade were absolutely breath taking! I honestly could not have pictured a more perfect setup for both the ceremony and the reception!

Kate Volz is a GODDESS!! From the first time I met with her she was always there to answer any questions and help with whatever we needed! From last minute officiant cancellations to flowers and midnight questions she was always right there! She truly made our special day perfect and unforgettable!

A Stress free Day!

it was obvious from our first meeting with Beth that the Colonnade was the venue for us. We could tell by her enthusiasm and pride that this wedding business was not just a job. It was her passion and she loved it. We worked with Kate as the wedding date got closer. She listened to every request and vision that our daughter ever imagined for her wedding. She was organized, professional and kept us calm when we had concerns.
The final results exceeded our expectations!. Walking into the reception was breathtaking! It seemed to sparkle and glow with hundreds of candles.
The food was delicious too. We got many compliments all night about the buffet and appetizers.The staff was phenomenal and made everyone feel well taken care of.
We want to thank Beth, Kate and their staff for making the reception a stress free, magical celebration that we will always remember.

Dreams do come true

Kate's business card says event planner but it really should say fairy godmother. She was there for me at all hours of the day and listened to all me crazy ideas without judgement. She and the entire Colonnade staff were able to make our dream wedding a reality. The ultimate decor package is worth every penny. Their stock of decorations is amazing to pick from and we didn't have to worry about what to do with items after the wedding. When I dropped off a few personal items on Friday before the wedding the room was set up and looked amazing, more than I had even dreamed of. I have helped friends set up the day before and it is always a mad house of moving tables, rearranging decorations and people frustrated with each other. I almost felt guilty it was so easy as I went to lunch completely stress free.

Our friends and family have also not stopped raving about the food. The appetizers and buffet were amazing. The clean up service all night was on point and there was never a line at the bar. The Colonnade's service can not be beat!

I would recommend and book the Colonnade again and again if I had to. Our big day would not have happened and been as magical as it was without the Colonnade.

Catered for our wedding at Millsite Lodge

If you're worried about guests enjoying your food, this is the caterer to use! They will take that worry away. Their food was phenomenal. I heard from multiple guests how delicious it was. They take care of everything and take the food and drink worries away when planning your wedding. They even cut, served, and packed up our cake from an outside caterer. They also took care of the bar and did a great job of keeping our guests happy :)

A five star review truly would not cover the way we feel about The Colonnade. Our 10/26 wedding was truly magical and more than we ever imagined it could be, all thanks to Kate and Beth. Kate made all of our dreams come true and allowed us to be the most extra and over the top couple! 😂 she was better at remembering the details of our day than I was, and I could always count on her for her attention to detail, her support, and her expertise. The decorations were beyond stunning and when they say it’s a full service venue, that is an understatement. The day truly could not have happened without her and her team. Amazing and memorable

The reception venue was just beautiful. There was absolutely nothing that i would change about how it looked and even the food was just amazing and had so many flavors. Everything was gorgoeus. The Colonnade did a beautiful job with our wedding. They have packages for everything you could want (including decorating), and they work with you from start to finish. Wonderful Experience!

I had my wedding reception at the Colonnade this past weekend and it turned out beautifully! Beth and Katelyn made the planning process so simple and stress free! When the day finally came, Katelyn and the rest of the staff did WONDERFUL. The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and never stopped moving and everything was so well decorated for us. We had Disney hats for the guests in honor of my grandfather who passed away and it warmed my heart that the staff had Mickey ears on as well! I love that if you purchase their decor package, highly recommend by the way, they go off your Pinterest page to make sure your reception is what you have always dreamed of! I am so glad we chose to go with the Colonnade for our big day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it extra special.

Beth, Katelyn, and the entire staff at The Colonnade were wonderful! Everything exceeded my expectations! They met with us and went over every little detail to make our reception perfect! I am not creative so the main reason I chose them was because they decorate for you! I had a vision in my head but it was so hard for me to pick stuff out. They looked at my Pinterest wedding board and made it look exactly how I liked! It was beautiful!!! The food was also delicious! There is plenty of room so your guests will not feel crammed. Above all expectations!

We felt that we were led by angels to Beth and the Colonnade! From the very first interaction we felt listened to, and cared for. Our wedding day experience was truly memorable! Wedding of my dreama

Beth saved my wedding day!!

I had mistakenly booked a hall in which was unreliable and made false promises. Then, I found out about the colonnade through my cake vendor and everything fell right into place.

I lived an hour away from the hall and Beth was very easy to work with from a distance. She quickly responded to any emails, calls, and voicemails I had. This is exactly what you want in a reception hall. What is also unique about the colonnade is it offers an exceptional decor package. Beth and her son did an outstanding job decorating the hall so I didn’t have to worry about transporting or setting up decorations on the day of my wedding! I received many compliments on how classy and elegant our wedding was. I also received compliments about how professional and accommodating the serving staff and bartenders were! Beth definitely keeps everything in order and is always with you on your planning journey so your day is what you imagine it to be. If you would like a stress free wedding day, it would be wise to go with Beth at the Colonnade Banquet Hall!

Beth and her staff do such an amazing job with decor and make sure everything runs smoothly. Every single item food item we chose for the menu was excellent. I can't recommend this venue enough. There are so many choices to make this day exactly what you want and to actually spend time enjoying the day instead of worrying about anything. Beth and her staff even had the extra cake packed up in foil and ready for us to take at the end of the night!

Selecting the Colonnade for my daughter’s reception was one of the easiest and best wedding decisions we made. Beth expertly guided us through the planning process, always taking into consideration the couples’ preferences and style. Her desire to provide my daughter with her dream reception was evident.

While the bride’s dream of a December wedding seemed risky to some, Beth made it a dream come true. The decor was elegant with the perfect mix of Christmas, winter, and the red and silver wedding colors. The hot chocolate bar was the perfect way to warm guests as they came in from the cold; it was a favorite of guests of all ages, who enjoyed experimenting with different topping combinations.

Everyone commented on the beautiful decor and delicious food. Beth and the Colonnade staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout the entire reception. After the reception, they efficiently gathered items we had added to the decor and leftover cake, so that everything was in one place. They created a stress-free environment from the moment guests arrived through packing up at the end of a long day.

I highly recommend the Colonnade. The variety of options in decor, room setup, menu, and add-ons such as uplighting, hot chocolate bar, and smoothie bar allow you to personalize your event. Beth and her staff take your vision and make your dream come true.

Beth and her team at the Colonnade were truly amazing. My wedding reception was all I ever dreamed it would be and so much more. We rented the smaller room because our guest list was 150, we fit in there quite comfortably. You have to get the ultimate decor package, and the beautiful Chivari chairs and matching sashes... I could go on and on... from the food to the ceiling branching, to the serving staff, to the table settings... everything was absolute perfection. People are still talking about how good the bourbon chicken and veggie lasagna was and just how nice of a facility it was in general! I will not denote the quality of the review as in star quality but I will just put on here, write down every decision you make on your own. When I went to my detailing appointment, I had already had all of my food picked out... so I thought, somehow it got lost and I was clueless and put on the spot about my side dishes. Just a little thing, nothing major. The charger plates are well worth it, it just makes the place look so polished and neat and please splurge on some of the gorgeous specialty linens. I can't thank everyone enough for all that was done for my wedding day, it was perfect and it wouldn't have been if I hadn't gone with the Colonnade.

We had a destination wedding and wanted a reception a month later to celebrate with everyone else. I wanted a reception hall that specialized in decorations since we weren’t going to have any flowers/decorations from the ceremony. The Colonnade was perfect! Their decorations were beautiful and Beth had plenty of options to choose from. I got to pick them all out myself and Beth did a great job of completing the look I wanted. We loved all the extras too that they had to offer – the entrees, appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, lighting, desserts (cookies/ice creams), photo booth, alcohol/drinks, etc. I brought in tons of pictures, extra things for our guests to sign, memorial table, TV/DVD to play our wedding video, etc. and Beth did a great job of laying everything out for me. Beth’s staff was wonderful too – excellent food, excellent service! My guests kept saying how it was the best food they ever had a reception, how beautiful everything was, how great the service was, and how it was one of the best receptions they’ve ever been to. I would recommend The Colonnnade to anyone and everyone!

The Colonnade made our wedding everything we could have ever hoped for and more. Beth and the staff are amazing and willing to go above and beyond to make your day special. I even had a limo driver not show up and Beth hopped in her car to make sure nobody was stranded, talk about doing something she definitely didn't need to! They are super responsive if you have any questions and are always available to answer questions. Our wedding day was perfect and stress free and we have the Colonnade to thank for that! I cannot say enough about The Colonnade Banquet Facilities and Beth!! Not only did she create the most beautiful reception hall for my wedding, but her staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish. I bought the decor package and I would tell anyone to do the same. Beth has an incredible selection of all decorations and she is so very talented at bringing your "vision" to life. I gave her my "theme" and what I desired for my wedding and her creativity went above and beyond creating the most beautiful reception hall.

Beyond the gorgeous room, the food was delicious. All night, I heard great comments from people saying that that was the best wedding reception food they have ever had. From the taste to the way it was served, Beth has the best pricing you will find for the great quality of food you receive. I cannot compliment Beth and her staff enough.

As the night continued, Beth and her staff kept the night moving along smoothly. My reception was behind an hour but no one could even tell as Beth was working closely with my DJ and photographer to keep things going. I didn't worry a bit as they allowed me to enjoy my night.

Yes to the Colonnade! Just incredible. Simply perfect. They will create the wedding reception of your dreams!

We cannot say enough great about Beth & her staff at Colonnade! If you have any doubts, please read their reviews - everywhere - because they're fantastic and true! Everything was perfect, beyond perfect for our son's wedding. The decor was absolutely incredible and the ease (and stress-free) of having this all prepared to our daughter-in-law's liking was an enormous relief. So many of our guests mentioned how beautiful it was inside -- it was truly like you stepped into another world which was magical.

And we've had so many compliments on the food -- all of which was terrific! It's hard to prepare food well for a large number of people like we had, but the Colonnade chefs were superb. We especially enjoyed the prime rib and bourbon chicken at dinner, as well as the late sliders & shrimp cocktail to top off the evening.

All of the staff was kind, always smiling and ready to help out with anything needed. We have nothing but the highest praise for all of them and their services. Simply the best!

We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding reception at the Colonnade. It was the perfect celebration from start to finish thanks to Beth and her staff! Beth was always so helpful and professional throughout the entire process. She did an amazing job of bringing our vintage style to the decor. I would definitely recommend the decor package-it was worth every penny to not have to stress about anything. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves! The food was delicious-we got so many compliments on the food (especially the bourbon chicken and signature salad) and cupcakes. We had guests in the catering business who were very impressed with the food and service. Everyone had so much fun! We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Can we rate 10 stars please? We cannot say enough good things about Beth and her staff at The Colonnade. Wedding planning was so EASY here, if there is such a thing! The food was wonderful, and so affordable considering everything we got for our meals/appetizers. We highly recommend the assorted mini dessert station, our guests loved it...they are still talking about it. The décor package was well worth the money, this made wedding planning so easy. They have such a variety of décor to choose from to fit anyone's style, and they are quality/classy looking décor items too, so you will not be disappointed! The set up here is perfect with a comfortable amount of space. The Colonnade was great to work with, making your wedding day so much less stressful. The Colonnade was absolutely wonderful. Everything at my wedding reception was perfect! Beth was so helpful with everything and really wants everything to be perfect for your special day! The Chicken Marsala was delicious as were the late night snacks of grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters! All of the food was really good. I don't think I have a single complaint. Our experience at the Colonnade was absolutely amazing! Beth was incredibly helpful and so easy to work with. She was always open to questions and concerns, and responded quickly. The space is beautiful, and if you have Beth do the decor, you will not be disappointed. Her personality complimented mine perfectly and she got along great (and was patient) with my jokester husband :) She went above and beyond to help us make decisions and the entire time I could tell she truly cared about us and our wedding day. She definitely wanted to make the day exactly what we wanted it to be and it showed throughout the entire process. And it definitely showed the day of our reception because everything was perfect! I absolutely would recommend the Colonnade to anyone getting married. I feel we lucked out big time with choosing the Colonnade and having Beth help us plan our event! This venue was perfect! Having paid for the ultimate decor package was worth the price which is very reasonable. You do not have to worry about any setup or takedown and it takes a lot of stress off your family and the bride. Beth is so easy to work with and definitely puts your vision for decor and makes it a reality! It far surpassed anything I had even imagined from my Pinterest board. The staff was so helpful and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the cupcakes as everyone thought they were delicious and you can take the rest home with you. For being a vendor in a small town the Colonnade makes you feel like you are having your reception in an upscale venue in a big city! I have searched and tried different venues throughout the Sandusky/Erie County area for the past 5 years and have not been as impressed with anyone as much as we were with the Colonnade. The staff was amazing from the beginning working with us on our date, catering menu and making everything fit our budget. The staff was very professional and accommodating to all our requests. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, everything was perfectly set up before we got there, the cleanliness was phenomenal and they topped it off with the most amazing cupcake selection and coffee bar. I would highly recommend them and have already committed to our next party there. No reason to look elsewhere. Great job Colonnade.

Months after our wedding, we are still getting comments on how great our reception was at the Colonnade. The food, décor, accessibility, and overall atmosphere was fantastic! Beth and her staff were terrific! My daughter had a vision in mind for her reception, and when she arrived for her "bridal peek", she was blown away! I would highly recommend the Colonnade for your child's wedding! Beth was amazing to work with. She was very flexible to meet with prior to the wedding reception. During the detailing meeting, she allowed my daughter and son-in-law to choose the decor of their choice, to make it represent them personally. Beth was even willing to purchase other decor items to represent their personalities. Even though we did not have the minimum number of guests for the Corinthian Room, Beth was willing to work with us so we could have the larger room. We were able to use the extra money as fun money. We were able to have a sundae bar for our guests, as well as many other unique features. To add to the personal touch of my daughter's wedding reception, Beth and her son made a beautiful watercolor painting of my daughter, son-in-law and their son that was displayed throughout the reception. The rest of the Colonnade staff were amazing also. They made sure all of our guests were satisfied throughout the evening! I would highly recommend Beth and the Colonnade to anyone looking for a reception facility that was more than reasonably priced. We definitely got our money's worth and plenty more!

Working with Beth Ackerman at the Colonnade Banquet Facility was such a pleasure last year. She always responded in a timely manner with all of my catering questions or concerns about the room. She assisted with menu planning and was such a help in setting up our room for the event.

Goodwill celebrated their annual holiday party at the Colonnade. The decor was absolutely stunning, the food was excellent, and the service was above par. I can't say enough great things about our wedding at this venue!! It was truly incredible. We did the decor package and I was floored with how beautiful it was when I first walked in! The food and service was wonderful! We are still getting complements on our day!!

I highly recommend the Colonnade! Beth Ackerman and the staff there did an amazing job with everything from menu planning to making our unique decor vision a reality. We received many compliments on the food quality and presentation!

Beth and the rest of her staff at the Colonnade Banquet Facility were absolutely amazing to work with. Living out of state and trying to plan a wedding in Ohio was quite a challenge, but Beth made it so much easier for us to plan our special day. We were impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail and the passion Beth demonstrated from the very beginning. I could not of asked for better service. The reception hall was decorated BEAUTIFULLY and all of our guests we so impressed by the ambience that Beth and her staff created for our wedding. The food was great as well and very nicely presented. I have no reservations whatsoever on recommending this facility to any future bride. Beth was by far, an integral piece of our magical day. She truly gave 110% and if I could rate her higher, I totally would!

We had planned this day for what seemed like forever. Beth could not have been more amazing to work with! She seemed as excited as we did, which made it even more special. Anything we asked for, we recieved. Beautiful decorations, excellent food, The flow of the evening was perfect! There was not one thing we had to worry about that evening so we were able to enjoy every minute of it!! Thanks Beth and staff!!!

Words cannot explain how thankful I am to have had my daughters wedding reception at the Colonnade in Avery. It was truly a magical night that my family and friends will never forget. The food was phenomenal, and the staff was very kind and considerate. Planning with Beth Ackerman was so easy and relaxing. She is a wonderful woman with a beautiful establishment. We gave her some ideas on the fairy tale reception and Beth brought those ideas to life! We didn't have to deal with any extra stress or preparation on a day that can be draining. I would Highly recommend the Colonnade to anyone that is looking for a venue for a party or reception. Beth Ackerman her family and staff as well as the Colonnade can be summed up as simply amazing. Beth & her crew did an amazing job with my wedding reception! They took our theme and ran with it, creating the most beautiful decor. The food was delicious and I felt confident that our guests really enjoyed the meal. I am still getting comments from our guests about how beautiful our reception was. Colonnade was an amazing place to have our wedding reception. Beth and her staff did an outstanding job. Our reception turned out better than we could ever even imagined. The food was delicious, and the decorating Beth does we're so beautiful. Colonnade really took so much of the stress of planning a wedding reception off of my shoulders as a bride, that was so helpful. We really could not have ask for more our night was amazing.

I would highly highly recommend the colonnade!! Everything was perfect. Beth is amazing at what she does and she makes sure to make your day the best it can be. The venue was decorated exactly how I pictured and was wanting! It's absolutely beautiful and with every penny! :)

Everything was beautiful the day of the wedding!! Beth was very sweet and helpful, we couldn't have asked for a better venue site! We did not have to worry about anything and everything went smoothly. Food and service were great!

I loved everything about the reception site (food, decorations, and staff). The place was goregous and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. My requests were accomodated and everything ran smoothly. Beth Ackerman was so helpful with the whole process and brought my ideas to life. We had a wonderful time.

Truthfully, I cannot say enough good things about the Beth and the entire Colonnade staff. Our wedding was truly something out of a magazine. The food was excellent, the decor was out of this world. The staff was professional and friendly. Beth really made our wedding personal--exactly how WE envisioned that, and she was able to capture our "look" and then took it to the next level. I wish I could give them more than just 5/5. Our guests had such a great time, we are even thinking about throwing another "reception" at the Colonnade for our 5 year anniversary, just so we can relive the night!

I couldn't be more impressed and satisfied with the service at the Colonnade! By choosing the Colonnade for our wedding reception, our day was that much more beautiful and everything we dreamed it would be. The staff at the Colonnade is EXCEPTIONAL--very friendly, genuine, and caring. They really went out of their way to make our day what we envisioned (meetings, phone calls, emails, etc.--great communication). We have gotten SO many compliments on how the reception was decorated. Their hard work surely shines through. We are forever grateful we chose the Colonnade. You won't regret it!

Working with the owner of the Colonnade was very easy and exciting. She was very helpful, since I knew nothing about planning a reception. I went with the Ultimate Decor package and she did an amazing job decorating our room. The food was also amazing!

My husband and I were very happy with the way everything turned out at the colonnade! Beth was very helpful and she did everything the way we wanted it, and we didn't have to worry. I would recommend the colonnade!! We got so many compliments on the food and the decor. It was nice to have someone else decorate and take everything down. Beth let us pick out our decor and we didn't have to take anything home! It was very organized and turned out perfect!!

The colonnade made my wedding ceremony absolutely perfect!!! I've had at least 50 people who attended tell me that they've never seen a more gorgeous reception in their entire lives. My wedding was 6 weeks ago and people are STiLL talking about how beautiful the decorations were and how delicious the food was!! Beth was an angel to work with. She did whatever she could to make sure everything went smoothly and just how I wanted. She even seemed just as excited for my big night as some of my own family members. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. It's worth every penny for how gorgeous the room was. They set up all the decorations AND take them down so we didn't have to worry about anything..That really lowered our stress level! Anything that could be lit in the room, even the smallest of candles, were lit.. & this just made a romantic glow for the entire evening. I've been to other venues around the area and nothing even comes close to the colonnade. If you choose them, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Great location for a Prom. The ballroom was large and decorated beautifully. Prom felt like a wedding reception with great food and entertainment all night.

The colonnade made it possible for my husband and I to have the wedding of our dreams. I told Beth Ackerman I wanted dessert reception. She ran with the idea and provided a broad selection of desserts that tasted and looked amazing! I so appreciated their attention to detail and creativity.

Beth and her crew took every one of our ideas and ran with them! I have had overwhelming responses from so many of our guests that this was the most beautiful wedding and reception that they had ever been at. Honestly, I cannot praise her enough! Beth and the rest of the staff at the Colonnade were great! From the start, they were very helpful and gave us ideas and opinions on what packages and options to choose. I had a pretty specific theme and style to my wedding and Beth made it happen! It was GORGEOUS! I did the ultimate decor package which was great- since we left on the honeymoon the next morning, we didn't have to worry about setting up the decorations or tearing them down. The staff was all very professional and kind. The late night appetizers were a huge hit! Bar was awesome as well! Conversation lounge was a hit! Beth was so professional and was very quick to respond to my dozens of emails that I sent through the months...I don't think we could have gotten such great quality anywhere else for the great price! I am very happy with the whole night and don't think it would have gone any more smoothly or well if I had chose any other venue. If you want your wedding day to be perfect and worry-free... choose the Colonnade!! Thanks so much Beth!!

Beth Ackerman and her staff were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout our event. From the first day we met with Beth through to the end of the wedding reception, everything was superb! We received SO many compliments from our guests on the facility, the decorations and the food. Many of our guests were from out of state and some from large cities, and they were quite impressed!

Everything went soo smoothly. We had so many compliments on everything. Everyone said "it was a beautiful reception". The food was excellent! So many compliments on the food. Everyone said it was the best dinner they had at a wedding reception.

The staff and service was absolutely perfect at our reception. Whatever anyone needed was immediately taken care of. The reception hall was breathtaking. All the decorations were so beautiful and all the guests commented on how amazing everything looked. I could not have dreamed of a better place to have a wedding reception and would highly recommend the Colonnade room to any bride. Everything from the food, decorations, service, and staff was perfect! I could not have been happier with how everything turned out!!
