My fiance' and I knew this was THE place to have our wedding the moment we pulled up. Cody Creek is the perfect location for a romantic country wedding with upscale elegance. The owners are so laid back and very hospitable, evening opening up their gorgeous home for viewing. Cody Creek offers Tons of options and venue styles. We have chosen to have our ceremony up on the hill over looking a beautiful pond. Can't wait to say 'i do!' here!

The guests loved the wedding venue. Driving over the covered bridge to enter the property added to the wedding day experience. The rustic feel of the venue add the perfect touch to the western themed wedding while still having an air of elegance. Fred and Kathy were easy to work with. The food was awesome and the pasta salad was a big hit with the guest.

This restaurant is like having a home-cooked dinner in a log cabin! There is a water wheel and animal landscape exhibit when you first come in the door, and there is a general store (which has awesome ice cream as well!) and a new banquet hall and a chapel all in the same area! The food is good, as well as the service! Definitely a great place for a rehearsal dinner!

If you want to contact them, You HAVE to call them. They will never respond to your email, which is very frustrating if you have a few questions and considering that they only answer while open. If they happen to be busy, you could end up calling for hours hoping you eventually won't get a busy tone.

This was a Stunning Venue to get married at, however, the owners were EXTREMELY hard to get in touch with and it was very hard to get a straight answer from them.When you finally did get an answer about something it would change at the last minute, like how to order our meals. for example, we were first told that we could have our guests choose between 3 different meats and they could choose any 2 sides they wanted; 3 days before my wedding they want me to only choose 2 meats and 2 sides. My husband and I have large families that get along well, so we decided not to have seating arrangement and wanted everyone to choose their own seats, 2 days before the wedding one of the owners wanted me to make a seating chart based on what everyone was eating to make it easier on the waitstaff ( not what was easiest on me)! another thing that just really stressed me out is that they wouldnt let one of my guests that were running about 2-5 mins late( she had gotten lost), drive up to the wedding (the owner blocked the road off and was extremely rude to her); she was very close to our family and the fact that he wouldnt let her up there really upset us! I had a very difficult time getting the owners to listen to me and do what I wanted.As far as the price of venue and reception goes, I would say it was a bit pricey and I would not reccomend ANYONE go through what I went through. You would definitely be better off choosing a different location to get married!
on the plus side: the food was good (although they forgot to feed my grandparents and they aparently dont believe in drink refills) and the location of the ceremony and the reception was beautiful!

The venue was very dirty. We found ourselves cleaning for hours the day before the wedding. The windows were filled with cob webs and spiders. You literally have to do everything including cleaning the chairs and setting up for the ceremony. They promise you everything and they do nothing once they have your money
