Exceeded our Expectations!

Austin and his team truly made our daughter's ceremony special! They are friendly, professional, and so eager to accommodate! Communication with Austin was always timely and effective. He was so flexible, helping us navigate a Covid reschedule, a last minute decision to upgrade to a trio, and a very last minute rain/cold plan! The questionnaire he sent helped my daughter and her (now) husband determine the tone they wanted for the ceremony. They chose contemporary selections and Coastal Chamber Musicians played them beautifully. Their performance truly enhanced the light, happy, and celebratory mood of the day! I received many comments from guests regarding how beautiful and uplifting the ceremony music was. Most of all, the bride and groom were so happy with every aspect of the day, and especially their ceremony music, thanks to Coastal Chamber Musicians. Thanks Austin and Team!

Austin was so easy to work with. He listened to my ideas and suggested what he thought was good and what could be better.

Austin and his musicians made the ceremony and the cocktail hour perfect. They are gifted in their trade. I cannot speak more highly of his professionalism, experience, and kindness. You will not be disappointed. Roger and I as well as our guests loved the music.

The Perfect Addition!

Austin and his team were wonderful to work with! Their talent and breadth of music compositions to select from were amazing. They were a perfect addition to the wedding day, providing music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. So many guests commented on just how beautiful the music was. Delightful

Coastal Chamber Musicians were delightful! Easy to work with, flexible and accommodating. We had them play classical music for our ceremony and pop music for our cocktail reception. And people actually spontaneously danced! Our guests and other vendors raved about how wonderful they were! We highly recommend this trio!

Coastal Chamber Musicians Elevated Our Big Day!

They helped to create an incredible atmosphere for our guests to enjoy themselves. We are so grateful for Coastal Chambers for stepping in at the last minute when another string musician couldn’t make it. They did an amazing job and we are so happy that they were there to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour! I’m not sure where to begin. Today as I look through our wedding photos I think back on just how thankful I am for choosing Coastal Chamber Musicians. Not only was Austin attentive, communicative and a delight to work with, his craft is incredible. We chose to go with the string duet of Violin and Cello for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. At first we were a bit hesitant about choosing a duet for such a small, intimate sized wedding, we were concerned it could be too overpowering ... it was not, it was such a beautiful addition to our special day. We selected a handful of our favorite upbeat love songs and I can’t help but smile at the thought of hearing them played throughout the evening. I’m so so so happy that we chose such a classy addition to our wedding. If you’re looking for an excellent, professional musician to compliment your wedding day look no further, Please do yourself a favor and reach out to Austin. Forever grateful for him and his team.

Single Violinist was amazing

We did a single violinist for our ceremony and he was great. The pastor said he was the best he has ever heard. Pastor even tried to recruit him to play for his church. Austin was great and easy to get in contact with.

Outstanding

Coastal chambers musicians played string instruments for my prelude and ceremony this past weekend at my wedding. Unfortunately being the bride I really didn’t get to hear much which I’m sad about because every single guest that I talked to said the music at my ceremony was so beautiful and the musicians were so passionate they could’ve sat there and listen to it for hours. Austin Was great at helping me to figure out how many songs for the processional and his suggestions for specific pieces for different times during the wedding. I felt like they far exceeded my expectations per everybody is reviews that they gave me the at the reception and the days following. Thank you Austin and coastal chambers musicians for making my wedding something straight out of a movie!

Wedding Violinist

We requested a violinist for our wedding. We had to move the location last minute and they had no issue at all. Violinist was super friendly and did an awesome job! I highly recommend them. Thanks!

Excellent String

Austin from Coastal Chamber Musicians was a pleasure to work with. Many of my guests complimented the duo to me during and after my wedding. We had originally booked for May but had to change our wedding date. They were accommodating. With little instruction Austin understood exactly the vibe we wanted and played the perfect pieces. We used CCM for the ceremony, cocktail hour and as music for the reception. Have to say we were very happy with our selection!!

Fantastic to work with

We had a small wedding at a intimate venue and Austin and Audra were amazing. They worked with us since we only required their services for our ceremony. They were spectacular and dressed perfectly and very classy. We are so pleased to have acquired their services. They made our intimate eloping a Wedding and Austin was very accommodating. He responded to us very quickly and picked up the calls even on weekends and at night. We are happy to recommend them to anyone who is interested in a big wedding or a small ceremony. I am grateful for them for being a part of our Wedding and they are amazing to work with. They sounded amazing. They worked with us on pricing too since we only needed them for our ceremony. It was beautiful sounds at an amazing venue. Can’t even imagine not having Austin and Audra there.

If you want an Elegant event...

you need to call Coastal Chamber Musicians. From the start Austin Fitzhenry understood what we needed and how we wanted our guests to feel. When the pandemic caused us to rework everything Austin was still with us. The group was easy to work with. Responsive and responsible. Lots of variety to their repertoire. We enjoyed beautiful music at the intimate outdoor ceremony and then again during an intimate reception. Live music added so much to the mood. It was all we could ask for and more!

Perfect Ceremony Music

Coastal Chambers provided the perfect ceremony music for our wedding! Coastal Chambers had a wide variety of songs and genres to chose from. We wanted music that was elegant, but with also modernness to the music selection. Austin was great to work with. He was kind, professional, and responded to my emails very quickly.

Coastal Chamber Musicians were prompt, professional, and played beautifully - despite the last minute rain and having to do an impromptu move to shelter! I cannot say enough good things about them. They helped to make our day perfect, and it was such a pleasure working with them for our destination wedding in Murrells Inlet, SC. Thank you so much Coastal Chamber Musicians!

Great musicians!

I am so glad we chose CCM to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. From the start Austin was very responsive to emails and very accommodating about our song selections. He was seriously one of the easiest vendors to work with and even learned new songs just for us. They were on time the day of, looked professional and played beautifully. Highly recommend!

Exceptional!

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful group! Coastal Chamber Musicians provided the music for our daughters wedding in October on HIlton Head Island. They played for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. They played Classical and Spiritual for the ceremony and a mix of Jazz, Pop, and Rock- both classic and new-for the cocktail hour and dinner. Our guests enjoyed the music so much and were surprised at the many genres of music they covered! Austin was great and helped me with selections for the ceremony. They have an extensive song list and asked if there were any special requests that we wanted them to play for our event. They were punctual and professional and we were thrilled that they provided the music for our family’s special day! We hope we have a chance to have them play for us again in the future!

Played beautifully, amazing selections, easy to work with!

From the very beginning, Austin was so easy to work with! The musical selections were extensive and we felt like we had so many options to choose from to customize our big day perfectly. Once the wedding day arrived, Coastal Chamber Musicians was prompt, professional, and played beautifully. They even stayed late to play for cocktail hour, after our other vendor was late setting up. Can't recommend them enough!

Dealing with Austin was a pleasure. He was very responsive. He was also extremely helpful with coordinating based on the size of our small, non-traditional wedding. I was extremely pleased with how flexible they were when we had to change our ceremony time because of the weather. Highly recommended!

Great addition to a beautiful ceremony

We went with Coastal Chamber at the recommendation of my planner after my mom decided she would love to have live music for our outdoor ceremony.
Austin was super responsive and helpful with ceremony selections. And my MIL was so excited to hear Beauty and the Beast played when she was walked down the aisle. My dad also thought we had some of the coolest ceremony music and everyone commented on how much it added to the ceremony!

Cocktail hour and dinner music

We chose Coastal Chamber to play as a cello and violin duo during our wedding cocktail hour and dinner. Austin was wonderful to work with throughout the process, and the duo's music was perfect for the evening! They have an awesome repertoire and our guests very much enjoyed their music.

Perfect Ceremony Music

Coastal Chambers provided the perfect ceremony and cocktail hour music for our big day! We wanted music that was soft, elegant, but with some modernness to the music selection. Coastal Chambers had a wide variety of songs and genres to chose from, and even better they were able to accommodate all of our requests for songs that weren't on their playlist! Fantastic Trio

We hired Coastal Chamber Musicians to play at the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception of my daughter’s wedding at Palmetto Bluff and they knocked it out of the park! Doing business with them could not have been easier or a better value, but the best part was that they are incredibly talented people who give every evidence of absolutely loving what they do. I love classical music but let’s face it, sometimes the retired orchestra players that are at weddings can be a bit stodgy. There is nothing stodgy about Coastal Chamber Musicians – they are young and vibrant, their musicianship is tremendous, and their repertoire is extensive with lots of Celtic, pop, jazz and classical choices. In my book, they were the rock stars of the event! My only regret is that it is over. If anyone reading this review wants to invite me to their wedding to listen again to Coastal Chamber Musicians, please do! Hey, I’ll bring a gift!

Extremely professional!

Great Job as Expected

We booked a solo cello for our small wedding, and it worked out perfectly. Austin was dressed well, professional, and skilled, and the cello accented the event beautifully.

Fantastic musicians!

Austin and his team were FANTASTIC. We had a smaller wedding and opted out of the dance floor / DJ. Instead, we hired Austin and his team to play for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and through dinner for some entertainment for the quests. We received SO many compliments throughout the evening and post wedding. We had a custom piece played for our ceremony. We didn't really get a chance to hear it (walking down the aisle jitters blocked out the noise). Austin offered to record the piece and send it to us so we can enjoy our song forever! Look no further, Coastal Chamber Musicians are amazing. Both you and your guests will love them!

Great Music!

We loved Coastal Chamber Musicians. They were very helpful beforehand and learned several songs for us. Then the day of they were great for the ceremony and reception. They withstood 100° heat and didn’t flinch! They went above and beyond all evening!

Amazing Musicians and Easy to Work With

I worked with Coastal Chamber Musicians as the day of coordinator for a wedding in downtown Wilmington earlier this month. They were extremely professional and easy to work with from a coordinator standpoint, and I also got the pleasure of listening to them during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The couple was extremely pleased with their performance and I was as well. I would love to work with them again in the future and I recommend them to any future bride!

Beautiful music provided an incredible experience

The Coastal Chamber Musicians provided the music for my daughter’s ceremony and cocktail hour. As great as their music was during both events, they were equally great to work with leading up to the wedding. Austin was quick to reply to my inquiry and easy to work with along the way. There was never a moment of concern or stress for this part of the event. My daughter wasn’t set on any particular song choice or music style and Austin professionally guided her through that process. Nicely done! I recommend Coastal Chamber Musicians.

We hired the string duo for our ceremony, and it was amazing! Working with Austin and Shannon was easy and enjoyable. They have a good mix of classical and pop selections in their repertoire which our guests loved! Everything they played sounded beautiful, no matter the genre!

Austin and Shannon were flexible as to wear they should set up (the rain had stopped, so we no longer had to squeeze them under the tent) and were also nice enough to move to a different part of the venue for cocktail hour! Both Austin and Shannon were easy-going, which my husband and I really appreciate!

Austin is so upbeat and happy. His personality and love for what he does is infections. Added a touch of class to our beach wedding. Truly one of the highlights of the ceremony. We exchanged about 2 emails for this was really an elopement and he just really nailed it. Highly recommend

Austin was amazing and played exactly what we wanted as a solo cellist for our intimate ceremony. He even learned a song at my request to play as I walked down the aisle. We were so happy to have him perform during our ceremony, and would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to make their ceremony extra special. He was on time, super easy to contact and discuss specifics regarding song selection, and he was extremely nice and professional. We are so happy with his performance and will remember it when we think of our wedding!

I hired a solo violinist for my ceremony music, and couldn't be happier! It turned out absolutely beautiful! They were even willing to learn special songs that I wanted incorporated, but weren't on their selection list. The music was flawless, not to mention, so cost effective! Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for talented musicians to play their wedding.

Coastal Chamber Musicians played for our wedding ceremony this past weekend in Hilton Head, SC and I cannot say enough positive things about the group! During the planning process, they were extremely responsive and accommodating! They provided us with the information we needed and were great with getting back in touch with us almost immediately if we had questions. The day of the ceremony, their music was absolutely amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests about how great they were. I highly recommend the group for any occasion... especially a wedding ceremony! They were absolutely perfect!

Coastal Chamber Musicians played the music during and before our wedding ceremony. They were wonderful! Austin was a true pleasure to work with - responsive and reliable and talented! In addition, they were easy to work with - playing a special song we requested for which they had to learn the music - and very fairly priced. What more could you ask for in a vendor?! Austin was amazing!! Not only was the group overall very professional and talented, but Austin was a bride's dream to work with. I requested a song he was not familiar with, but insisted he could learn it and be prepared for the wedding. He did just that!! All my emails were answered in a timely manner, and he was easy to communicate with when I had last minute change in time. He provided excellent professional opinion and followed through with every expectation. Everyone at my wedding couldn't stop complimenting the talent of these musicians. He was even kind enough to endulge my father who ended up making his own requests during their performance. On the day of the wedding, they were early and took their places immediately. They were professionally dressed and added an amazing touch of class to our wedding. I couldn't be happier!! I would absolutely recommend Coastal Chamber Muscians for any event.

Coastal Chambers certainly gets five stars; we'd give more if we could. From the planning stages to the follow through and follow up; every detail was handled professionally, promptly and perfectly. Austin was so essential in helping us pick the perfect music selections for our wedding ceremony. We used a few classics from their list, a few modern, younger songs from their list and even requested obscure songs they'd not heard before.

Austin was able to give us great advice on how certain songs would translate into a string instrumental and even took the time to learn Elle Goulding's "How Long Will I Love You" for me (the bride) to walk down the aisle. The lyrics are beautiful but the original song was much slower than our other song selections. Austin honed in on this and keyed us in on the fact that typically the bride would walk to something that is more dramatic or upbeat, as it is the highlight of the ceremony. He said he could play it as is but also offered to tweak it; speed it up a tad and make it a little more spunky. We jumped at the offer and it worked beautifully; as did all of the other song selections.

Our ceremony music fully reflected our personalities. With classic inclusions like Canon in D to new artists like American Authors and Jason Mraz or unexpected but fun groups like One Republic and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus....Austin and Leslie of Coastal Chambers covered everything masterfully!!!

They beautifully faded each song in and out as needed (like during the unity ceremony). They were a seamless addition to our wedding ceremony and added a beautiful element of sophistication to our intimate DIY nuptials. They didn't overshadow our small gathering of family & friends or get lost in the grand beauty of the Middleton Place gardens where our ceremony was held; they were just another perfect piece of our perfect day and we couldn't be happier with how lovely it turned out.

We'd use them again and recommend them for any event!!!!

Austin and his crew were awesome to work with. They showed up and with very little direction from me, knew what to do and got it done. The music was beautiful and they were able to play some songs that were a little obscure. I really appreciate their professionalism. It was one less thing I needed to worry about on our special day.

This group played the best music couples our age bracket are looking for. They are very eclectic and have a wide genre of music selections to choose from. They are very professional, good personalities and incredibly talented. I strongly recommend these young musicians to play any occasions you are planning to have in the future, and you won't regret it!!! Coastal Chamber Musicians went beyond my expectations. I was somewhat worried because I was planning a wedding out of state, but Austin pulled everything together perfectly. I gave him a few songs to play during our wedding and then I left the rest for them to decide. I was not disappointed with any of the song choices! They are very professional and easy to work with. They even learned a special song for our first dance and honestly it sounded better than the original soundtrack. Everyone that attended the wedding loved them and couldn't believe how well they could play! I couldn't have been happier with choosing them to play on my wedding day.

Coastal Chamber Musicians played the ceremony music for our wedding and were excellent. My husband and I both play guitar and we had a fair number of musicians in our group. Several guests commented about how "passionate" and "into it" that Austin and Shannon were. My only regret from my wedding is that I didn't appoint a friend to take video of them! Guns N' Roses is my favorite band of all time and they learned "Sweet Child O'Mine" especially for our recessional. Fantastic!

We originally booked Austin Fitzhenry as a solo cellist for our wedding in Guyton, GA. Austin actually had a family emergency the weekend of, but paired us with Lonnie who did a terrific job! We also had some extraordinary circumstances due to weather, but both Austin & Lonnie were flexible and understanding. While I actually didn't hear Lonnie play, my guests & family all informed me that he was great!

I would strongly recommend Coastal Chamber Musicians to anyone in the Charleston area! They were very easy to get in touch with and communicate with! I decided to use them because they were very affordable (especially compared to some other musicians in the area), played a great variety of music from different genres, were willing to travel (my ceremony was an hour away from Charleston), and would even learn a new song just for us. The director, Austin, worked with us to create personalized music for our wedding ceremony. We got several compliments not just on the quality and sound of ceremony music, but also the originality. Coastal Chamber Musicians were incredibly flexible and professional. We had an outdoor plantation wedding, and unfortunately the ceremony got delayed due to rain. They waited patiently and ended up playing under umbrellas during the ceremony with no complaints or hesitation! They did an amazing job despite the rain, delays, and changes in the ceremony due to the weather. Coastal Chamber Musicians would be a great choice for your wedding or special event!

In November 2010, my family and I saw the Coastal Chamber Musicians perform the ceremony music for the wedding of two family friends. The trio's performance was so beautiful and full of life, we made sure to get their card and when my fiancé proposed to me last July, I had no doubts about who I wanted to book for our ceremony and cocktail hour music. The group's cellist and point of contact, Austin Fitzhenry, was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful as we determined our musical selections. I enjoy classical music, but am deficient in my knowledge of specific pieces, so I couldn't have done it without Austin's guidance. My fiancé, a former cellist himself, described some of my selections as challenging for a trio, but if the pieces were, you would never know from the group's masterful execution. They have a diverse repertoire to select from, including traditional wedding pieces as well as contemporary music and past hits. Their pricing is unbeatable. When considering back-ups in case the CCM's were unavailable, no one quoted such a reasonable price. When guests have reached out to us to congratulate us on our wedding and describe their experience the day of, this strings trio is often the first element of the day that they rave about. I cannot recommend them enough and I hope to have an opportunity to see them perform again in the future. If I have another event in Charleston that calls for a strings ensemble, I will definitely be booking them again. Many thanks to the trio and especially Austin for making our special day all the more special.

Austin and Coastal Chamber Musicians were amazing to work with... I was planning our wedding from 1500 miles away and they were responsive, professional and made me feel at ease. My husband requested some special songs and we were able to include the musicians learning those songs into our agreement.

On the day of the wedding they were on time and were easy going, the music was beautiful. They even played our first dance song, it was terrific. I would recommend Coastal Chamber Musicians to anyone.
