Saved Our Wedding
We were in dire straights when we found Christine. We had previously contracted with a different planner who we were spinning our wheels with for months... We were getting very scared by lack of communication, lack of visibility into vendor booking, lack of coordination on budget, and some serious delays in getting invites out... Christine was a night and day change. We were absolutely blown away that we would have a planning call, then Christine and team would take the to-do list and GET IT DONE. Christine and CMG essentially helped us re-plan a 215 person wedding in less than 2 months. She gave us incredible confidence that we could pull it off. She was also super knowledgeable and incredibly easy to work with. The wedding day itself had a lot of moving parts, and it went off without a single hitch. As the happy couple, we could simply be a happy couple without a worry in the world. It was amazing and magical, and we cannot thank CMG enough. I was not asked to write a review--I asked myself if I could write one because I cannot recommend Christine and team enough!!! -

CMG was a dream come true for us! As a couple that had no clue where to start when it came to planning a wedding, CMG helped us create and execute our vision. From connecting us with the perfect vendors, to selecting the perfect venue, Christine and her team are the best in the business. 10/10 would recommend 100% of the time. -

My husband and I are based in Orange County and got married in San Juan Capistrano. We reached out to Christine about a year and a half before our wedding day and everything from start to finish was seamless! My favorite vendor recommendations were our signage, photographers, and violinist. They did such an AMAZING job! Christine and Reanna were very attentive to our needs and quickly answered any questions we had. I love how they personalized our signage to our proposal story. That was such a cute idea. On my wedding day, I felt great and I knew we were in good hands. A HUGE thank you to everyone at the CMG team!! Our wedding was even more beautiful than I thought it was going to be! So many of our guests complimented how beautiful the wedding was. We also had a lot of people tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to! 10/10 high recommend!! -

We had our wedding at Montalvo in Saratoga, CMG knew the venue and the staff so well and made our event so absolutely seamless. I did the design and coordination package--worth every penny!! Worked with Christine to create the most beautiful decor I could ever imagine all within my budget. I love how flexible CMG is, I couldn't find that with a lot of other planners. Our lead planner for the day was Bri, and she absolutely killed it. I had people coming up to me complimenting me how wonderful she is. This meant a lot to me but she went out of her way to make my parents as comfortable as possible, which meant the world to me. Don't hesitate to book CMG, you'll be glad you did! -

We hired CMG events for the last 60 days before our wedding. They were absolutely amazing to work with- they were very familiar with our venue (Villa Montalvo in Saratoga CA) and our vendors which made the experience very seamless. Many people said it was the smoothest wedding they'd been to, which was a testament to their experience and professionalism. Maggie (our planner!) was absolutely amazing, super responsive, organized, and quickly picked up at the 60 day mark coordinating all the little details with our vendors and venue. We had several last minute additions which she all took in a stride. The day-of went seamlessly, I didn't think about any logistics at all and before I knew it, between my bridesmaids and Maggie, everything (clothes, cards, decor, alcohol, leftover food, etc) had been packed and put in my parents car. I truly had a perfect day and a large part of that was how professional and experienced CMG was. Cannot recommend them enough! -

My husband and I had our wedding at Villa Montalvo in fall 2023, and we’re so grateful for our team at CMG! Brianna was our primary point of contact in the two month window (60 day coordination package) leading up to the big day, and we loved working with her. Brianna’s ability to stay calm, composed, problem-solving, and positive through any circumstance made her excellent partner to us in the final stretch of executing the wedding day and landing all the details. Her meticulous planning shone through when unexpected rain threatened our day, and she expertly conducted pivots in schedules and layouts. Brianna and her team of 2 truly ensured our special day unfolded beautifully, despite some wet weather which eventually subsided. We can’t imagine what the day would be like without CMG on our team, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to plan or execute on the wedding of their dreams. CMG makes magic happen, and finds ways to get things done. As a bride, I felt so at peace my wedding day knowing that CMG had everything covered, so if you’re on the fence about adding an extra expense on your wedding day for planning/coordination, just do it! This was the best decision we made to protect our own experience as the bride and groom, and ensure the best day possible! -

Wow! We had the BEST experience with Maggie and CMG Events. We booked the 2-month package and it was perfect for us. We locked everything in and leveraged CMG’s recommended vendors (that we requested) and Aisle Planner (which was a lifesaver to keep us organized on task) and took a deep breath when Maggie took over.
We loved Maggie immediately from first Zoom call. She is calm, professional, reassuring, super organized, and communicative. We cannot even imagine taking on all of the work she did to make sure everything was perfect between all of the vendors and schedules and two venues (one of which is notoriously complex) and are eternally grateful to her because everything was PERFECT.
Our day was magical and we didn’t even have to think or worry about a thing. From our point of view everything was seamless without drama or hiccup and we were able to enjoy the entire process from start to finish because we had Maggie.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Maggie!
If anyone is looking for an exceptional wedding planning team, we 1,000% recommend CMG Events.

I cannot say enough about Christine, Jen and the entire CMG team! Following my engagement, I spoke to multiple wedding planners, but after speaking with Christine, there was no question she and her team were the best fit to plan and deliver the fairytale wedding I had always dreamed of.
As the planning processes kicked off, there were a few dumps in the road (to no fault of CMG), yet without fail, Christine and Jen were there to help make every pivot as effortless as possible. I had a VERY involved mom and aunt in the planning process, which as times made it challenging at times to meet all of our visions -- yet the CMG team, time and time again, managed all of the complex dynamics for me, which I am forever grateful for. Christine and Jen always made me feel heard and respected while also helping incorporate the "must haves" from each side of the family AND my finance. I never doubted that they understood my vision and ensure no matter what, I would have the wedding celebration of my dreams. The talent and creativity of the CMG team is unparalleled - they truly are the best in the business. CMG works with the best vendors to create pure magic. Forever grateful for the absolutely stunning fairytale wedding they fully-planned and executed. -

Let me start off by saying that CMG Events is the fairy godmother that everyone needs. If you are even questioning about getting a wedding planner or just a day of coordinator, I am here to tell you that you honestly cannot go wrong with these lovely people! I had my consult with Christine and we picked the 60 day coordination package, mainly since I already had all my vendors booked and am slightly a control freak. She paired me with Jenn and it definitely was a match made in heaven. She reached out to me to start getting everything put together right at the 2 month mark. I love Jenn. I don't know how else to say it. She was absolutely amazing, prompt in her communication and just so professional. Jenn made everything so smooth and easy. And the morning of when one of my hairstylists cancelled on me, I called her and she did her best to calm me down and find a replacement. She made my wedding day the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. Even my wedding party was impressed with her and asked for her number for their future weddings. And when some unfortunate events happened during the wedding, she followed up and was on top of it to the point that I didn't even know till my husband told me! JENN YOU ARE A THE BEST! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!
Seriously, don't hesitate to reach out and book with them. They are absolutely worth it. -

The BEST there is PERIOD! There are not enough words for how thankful my wife and I are for Christine, Réanna, and the CMG Team. During arguabley one of the most important events/times of our lives, they treated us like more than family. They helped create a wedding experience for us that was one of the most impactful moments in our lives. The impact had a ripple effect amongst our friends, family, and loved ones. Over a week later, we are still being told how amazing the wedding was. The wedding was the definition of perfect. The planning experience was engaging, personal, and fun! The technology was easy to use and convenient. Any problems that were encountered were solved in what seemed like a seemless manner. The teams' professionalism is top notch, their industry experience is unmatched, and you feel like you're a part of the family. I will forever be thankful for Christine, Réanna, and the CMG Team. We hosted our wedding in Santa Barbara and CMG is the only team I would trust to run our big day. Christine, Reanna, and Michelle went above and beyond to make everything look and feel flawless. As an event planner and virgo, it was really hard for me to let go and just be a bride so I was very happy to have this team with me on such an important day. Their attention to detail and professionalism allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day. I wanted to have fun and I wanted to make sure my vision board came to life. I couldn't be both the bride and the planner on my wedding day and still keep my sanity. Christine understood the assignment and helped me bring everything to life, including my five piece chandelier that needed to be perfectly centered above the dance floor. Compliments from our wedding have been pouring in from our guests and we couldn't have pulled it off without the team. Trust me, having CMG at your wedding will be the best decision you'll make! -

Christine and CMG are the absolute best!! Created my dream wedding
Do you want to have your dream wedding? If so, then it should be no brainer to book Christine and CMG Events as your planner!! Christine and her team are truly incredible - I had to plan our wedding in California across the country in New York and during medical school so finding a good planner was utmost priority. I cannot emphasize not only how much Christine helped in terms of making sure everything went smoothly, but she helped tremendously in terms of reducing bride stress. Everything was taken care of so well, I asked her and a couple of friends if I should be more stressed and why it felt like I had so little to do. After speaking with friends, I definitely did not have a normal experience - friends talked about last-minute fiascos, having to take time off of work to make sure stationery was ready, etc. and Christine just confidently told me, “don’t worry, we’re taking care of that”. On the day of the wedding, I felt like I could keep hugging Christine because everything looked breathtakingly beautiful. I received SO many compliments from guests - “that was the most beautiful wedding I’ve attended”, “everything was so tasteful”, “the bar for weddings now is set too high”. She’s truly an expert and master at logistics and wedding planning. Again, cannot emphasize enough how incredible and top quality Christine and her team are!! -

Christine is an extraordinary wedding planner, and we are SO grateful to her for orchestrating and executing the best weekend of our lives! She is so experienced and well-regarded by the wedding community, which opens up so many more possibilities because people are just willing to go the extra mile for her. But what really blew us away was her professionalism and grace in every situation - she listened and worked with us every step of the way, gently guiding us away from not-so-great ideas (of which my husband and I had many) and towards the details and touches that would be most meaningful. She also was so respectful and kind to our families, especially our parents—she brought them along in the process and made sure to work their input and feedback into our plan. Without exception, we felt so much better after our planning calls with Christine - regardless of how worried or stressed we might have been at the top of the call. And once it was time for the wedding—everything was absolutely seamless, entirely thanks to her. I didn't have to worry once about logistics or timing or decor—everything was accounted for over two full days of wedding events. She and her team were so extraordinary and somehow everywhere all at once—with me, making sure I was ok, with my family, making sure they knew the plan, managing each vendor, dealing with unexpected hiccups, making sure everything was running on time...the list goes on. Only after seeing pictures of the event afterwards did I fully appreciate how much Christine had to juggle—and the result far exceeded what we had hoped and dreamed for our big day. So many of our guests told us how special our wedding weekend felt, to which we responded, without hesitation, "It was all Christine!" We can only hope that our soon-to-be-married friends and family have a planner as lovely and competent as Christine, Jenn, and the whole CMG staff. So if you're thinking of working with CMG for your wedding - just do it. It's best decision we made, hands down. Christine—thank you, thank you, thank you!!! -

I can't express enough how lucky we were for finding CMG Events. From the beginning, Christine and her team were very responsive, caring, thoughtful, creative and overall great to work with. We chose the 60 day-out package with the addition of the Design consulting, which was perfect for me and my husband. Wedding planning can definitely be stressful, however, CMG Events, Christine and Brianna made this process seamless, and it was amazing to partner with such trusted advisors. I recommend anyone planning an event to work with them! I'm actually sad the process is over! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and a huge component of making that happen was CMG Events :) -

To say our experience with Christine was top notch would truly be an understatement. From the moment we first connected, I knew we would be in great hands, but she and her team went above and beyond every step of the way. From helping us secure a new venue when it became clear our first choice wouldn’t work (which ended up being such a blessing in disguise), to engaging with all of our vendors & bringing everyone together for the most magical wedding weekend, or even things such as sourcing a tie for a groomsman (day of!) when his arrived in the wrong color and offering to swap out shoes with our officiant when her heel broke right before the ceremony – there is nothing that she and her team can’t handle! Above all of that, what made working with her so fantastic was the fact she made the whole process fun and enjoyable, and most importantly, stress-free. I was anxious to enter the wedding planning phase of our engagement because of the notion that it is supposed to be stressful and chaotic, but I can honestly say it was some of the most enjoyable few months of my life, capped off with a weekend that exceeded my wildest expectations. My friends and family were all shocked at how calm I was not only leading up to the event, but during the entire weekend and I owe that all to Christine and her team (shoutout to Jennifer and Reanna!). They allowed me to be present and soak in each moment and I am eternally grateful for that. Before diving into planning, Christine asked what my preference would be in terms of how to select vendors and go about whole process which made working together a dream. She is full of so much knowledge, creativity, and passion and is constantly working with you to make sure your vision becomes a reality. Planning calls and site visits with her were such fun, collaborative sessions (that I miss already!) and if I ever was unsure about something (as I often was), she was right there to answer any questions. Despite my type A personality, I wanted to be a bit more hands-off during the planning and only felt comfortable doing so with Christine leading the way. She and my mom even included a few surprises for me day-of with the most BEAUTIFUL entry to our welcome tent & a custom backdrop behind the band. As my mom put it, she “sets the gold standard when it comes to wedding planning”. When I think back, there is not a single thing I would have changed about our wedding or the events and planning leading up to it. I can’t wait for the next big event in our life if it means another chance to work with Christine and the powerhouse that is CMG events! They really are the dream team :) -
