Our wedding at Galloping Hill was nothing short of magical. We toured a ton of venues, as soon as we came here, we knew we wanted to have our wedding. Kristina and Emily were both super helpful in the planning process. Our tasting went well, and the food was even better at the wedding. The quality of food and the amount of options we got for the price was phenomenal. Everyone on the day of our wedding, from bridal assistants to bartenders to servers was better than we could ever ask for. We had such a fun time and didn’t have to worry about anything on the day. The guests were extremely happy about the food and drinks and told us they loved the space. The ceremony space was very well set up, and golf carting the guests was a smooth process. My husband golfed with many groomsmen the morning of the wedding, and they enjoyed that part as well. Overall, Galloping Hill Golf Course was a fantastic place to get married and I would recommend it to anyone with any vision. -

After our original wedding venue unexpectedly closed, we had to find a new venue on short notice. While The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill wasn’t available on our original Saturday date, they were able to accommodate us on the Friday before, and we’re so grateful they did.
The entire team was friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. Our coordinators kept everything running smoothly and on schedule while still taking the time to check in on us throughout the day. Their attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy the moment.
We were impressed with the staff’s ability to set up our signage, memorial table, favors, and other personal touches with very little direction. Everything looked beautiful. The food was also excellent, and many of our guests raved about it, especially the Prime Rib station.
The outdoor ceremony space by the lake provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding and photos. One of our favorite memories was riding away after the ceremony in a golf cart across the course.
We’re incredibly thankful to The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill for helping make our wedding day so special. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an attentive and professional staff. -

We absolutely loved the Clubhouse at Galloping Hill! From our very first tour of the venue through the entire planning process, the team made us feel like our wedding was their top priority. We had Emily as our event coordinator, and she was incredible! From answering my late night text about random wedding details to guiding us through all of the final planning calls, she always made everything feel manageable and stress free! We were the first wedding of the season on the golf course this year, and it couldn't have been more magical! Our day-of coordinator, Ellis, along with bridal assistants Charlize and Kasey, kept everything running seamlessly so we could truly enjoy every moment! To this day, guests are still reaching out to tell us how amazing the food was. The entire staff did a fantastic job accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions, making sure every guest felt taken care of! We truly couldn't have asked for a better venue or a better team to work with. Every detail was handled with such care, and our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more! We highly recommend the Clubhouse at Galloping Hill to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding experience! Thank you for making our day so magical! -

Working with Galloping was an absolute dream! Maria was attentive, responsive, and so patient as we planned our wedding. She truly made the process feel not as overwhelming. Her recommendations and just overall demeanor led to us having a beautiful day with an amazing set of vendors. Emily was our day of coordinator and she ensured our day ran smoothly and that I as the bride was attended to throughout the day.
Our guest raved about the food at Galloping! We had four cocktail hour stations in addition to their passed hors d’oeuvres and the garden stations. For dinner we chose the braised short rib, saffron fennel salmon and French cut chicken and our guest shared the options were all top tier. A place with great food was so important to my husband and Galloping delivered 10 fold.
I cannot wait to have an occasion to use Galloping again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that has beautiful outdoor ceremony options, great food and an amazing team.

August 29, 2025 Wedding
We had the most perfect wedding at Galloping Hills Golf Course. The grounds and outdoor ceremony space are absolutely beautiful especially for a sunset ceremony, and the ballroom is beautiful and modern, a wall of windows, and a patio for your guests to use during the reception with firepits lit. The whole staff was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, Kristina, Emily and both bridal attendant were the best. Our day went so smooth and was beautiful. -

My husband and I got married at Clubhouse at Galloping Hill Golf Course on September 19, 2025 and we had such an amazing experience! We are so glad that we chose this venue for our wedding day. Our ceremony was around 6pm and it was absolutely perfect! Once the sun set behind the tree near the altar, we ended up having such beautiful pictures! Throughout our whole planning process Kristina was wonderful, so helpful, and easy to get in touch with! Kristina, Emily, Charlize, Kasey, and Ellis were all so professional and kind while helping us navigate our day. They were all very attentive and throughout the day Charlize and Kasey were frequently checking in on us making sure we were okay or if we needed anything. Our cocktail hour was perfect and all of the food tasted amazing! We’ve received so many compliments from our guests saying how much they enjoyed all of the food and drinks from both cocktail hour and the entrees for dinner! We chose the “Love Is All You Knead” soft pretzels for our late night snack and it was such a huge hit with our guests before everyone left for the night! We had 177 guests and 17 tables for the reception, but because of the space in the ballroom everyone was able to fit comfortably while still having plenty of room for the dance floor. We are truly thankful for all that the Galloping Hill team did to make our day so special and a night we will never forget!! -

We had our wedding reception at the Clubhouse at Galloping Hill, and it was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine excitement, big smiles, and so much energy. They went above and beyond—especially Charlize and Kasey, they both helped with my dress, my flowers, and even drove us around the gorgeous property to capture unforgettable photos. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire day.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how incredible the staff was. Everyone was so attentive and kind—it made the entire evening feel seamless. One of my favorite moments was seeing my decor vision come to life. I dreamed of having 10 six-foot daisies placed around the hall, and Kristina, Emily, Maria, Ellis, the entire team made it happen perfectly. It was even better than I imagined!
The food and cocktail hour were unforgettable! The Jersey Shore Boardwalk station was such a fun and nostalgic hit, and the Brazilian skirt steak station had people going back for seconds and thirds! Dinner was phenomenal—our guests are still talking about the black sea bass, braised short ribs, and the bone-in chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese. Everything was hot, fresh, and beautifully plated.
The balcony and patio were perfect for golden hour and sunset. Guests loved stepping outside to take in the views and grab fresh air between dancing—and let me tell you, the dance floor was HUGE. We had 175 guests and 16 tables, and everyone had room to dance and celebrate comfortably.
The location was also a huge plus—super easy to get to from North and South Jersey and only a short drive from Newark Airport for our out-of-town guests.
We’re not golfers (yet!), but we’re already talking about taking lessons here in the future. Galloping Hill will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to come back with our future family one day.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in New Jersey that delivers on food, service, atmosphere, and professionalism—this is it. We truly wish we could relive it all over again. 💛 -

Had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course at the end of June. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth!
We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away.
We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night.
Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth.
They were so accommodating with setting up our decor and we were able to pick it up the next day.
Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night!
The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!

My husband and I got married at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in May and we are still buzzing about how perfect of a day it was. We worked with Kristina during our whole planning process, and she was such a pleasure to work with; making what could be a stressful situation super easy and fun. Our ceremony took place outside with the golf course serving as an absolutely gorgeous backdrop. The room that the reception was in was perfect as well. The huge terrace with chairs and fire pits that stretched all of the way across the reception room so that guests could step out and get some fresh air while watching the sunset over the golf course was a huge hit. The food was AMAZING. Dinner was great, and there was so much good food / different options at the cocktail hour. Many guests came up to me during and after the wedding saying it was the best cocktail hour that they’ve ever gone to. The staff on the day of were amazing as well. Our day of coordinator, Ellis, did a great job making sure all of the many moving parts went off without a hitch. He made sure everyone was where they needed to be throughout the day, helped the vendors as they arrived with anything they needed, and had a big smile on his face / a great calming presence throughout it all. Our bridal attendants were amazing as well. Never more than a stones throw away all night, they were super attentive and quickly helped us with anything we needed, while also making sure our drinks were always full :) Between the venue, the food, and the staff, we could not have picked a better place to get married and I could not recommend it enough. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and a huge reason for that was our choice to get married at the Galloping Hill Golf Course! -

My husband and I got married at Galloping Hill Golf Course on 5/24/25. We knew once we toured the venue, this was where we would be getting married! From start to finish, everything was nothing short of top notch! Kristina and Maria were absolutely amazing! They answered all of questions with fidelity and assurance. Kristina made the planning process stress-free, accommodating all of needs and wants with ease and patience. She was awesome at communicating with us every step of the way. Our day of coordinator, Ellis was the absolute best. He helped make our day flow seamlessly, highlighting every aspect with perfection! Ellis' kindest and dedication helped make our day one to remember.
Drop-off and pick-up of decor was a breeze, which made things even easier for us. Everything was extremely organized, and I knew we were in good hands! They also boxed up our leftovers and cake, and we were able to pick everything up along with our decor within a few days.
Our ceremony and reception was absolutely stunning! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the amazing food at cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and the late night pizza bar! Everyone loved the beautiful terrace overlooking the golf course!
Choosing Galloping Hills was by far the easiest and best decision we made! The entire staff helped fill our day with an abundance of joy, peace and happiness. Overall, we hands down recommend Galloping Hills for anyone looking for a day filled with beautiful scenery, delicious food and amazing memories to cherish forever! -

As a NJ native, I toured a handful of venues, and none impressed me as much as GHGC! It is a beautiful building, that has an upper level and terrace that overlooks the amazing golf course. The ballroom and cocktail hour space are beautifully designed for indoor festivities. The outdoor ceremony space is also so unique and the option of golf court escorts is super cool!
The team is exceptional - our sales coordinator (Emily) was amazing - she was readily available to answer any/all questions, and provided updates as we approached wedding day. Our day of coordinator (Ellis) was superb. Such a kind, warm, reassuring presence, who went over each and every detail the week prior,
and made our dream wedding come to life. The bridal attendants (Charlize, Kasey) were so sweet and helpful, always thinking one step ahead to make sure we were cared for and where we needed to be.
Our guests and families have been raving about our wedding - from the amazing food (especially cocktail hour!! - we had the brazilian station, pasta station and seafood station), beautiful views, to the exceptionally kind and efficient staff.
Overall I have only positive things to say about GHGC, and am so grateful to have gotten married there! Highly recommend!! -

We had our wedding at Galloping Hill on 8/2/24, and from start to finish, the experience was incredible! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our day special. During the planning process, Kristina was a huge help, answering every question we had and making sure we felt confident with every detail. She and the team truly know their stuff and gave us recommendations for a photographer, DJ, and florist, all of which we were so happy with! On the big day, Emily and her team were amazing—they worked tirelessly to make everything run smoothly.
Although we had to move the ceremony indoors due to the weather, the team ensured we got as many photos as possible outside before the rain hit, which was a huge relief. They really went out of their way to make sure we still had the beautiful moments we envisioned.
The food was amazing, and there was more than enough for all our guests. Galloping Hill was incredibly accommodating for our guests' wide variety of dietary restrictions, including vegan options. Additionally, my grandma experienced some health issues a week before the wedding that resulted in unexpected dietary restrictions, including no sodium. The staff went above and beyond, even preparing a special salt-free sauce for her meal, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Drop-off and pick-up of decor was a breeze, which made things even easier for us. They also boxed up our leftovers and cake, and we were able to pick everything up the next day along with our decor. We are so grateful for everything the staff did to ensure our wedding was as memorable as possible! -

Wedding of our dreams!
September 13th, 2024 I got married at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth and could not be happier with out choice. Maria Novo was my main contact from start to finish and she truly had such a huge role in making our day so magical and special. I met Maria when she gave me my first tour of their venue. Her kindness, enthusiasm and knowledge was not only impressive but made me trust her immediately. She walked me through every step of the planning process and was always available to answer questions or to meet up if needed to go over things. The Golf Course was immaculate and the food was phenomenal but the staff is really what stood out the most. Maria, Kristina, Michelle, Ellis and so many more had huge impacts in making my wedding the one I have always dreamed of. All our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue was (inside and out), how delicious the food was but mostly... how impressive the staff was. My husband and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Galloping Hill Golf Course for any and all events, you will not be disappointed! -

We had the wedding of our dreams at The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill! We instantly fell in love with the picturesque views. The ceremony site and ballroom perfectly fit our vision.
The staff was amazing! Kristina walked us through every step of the planning process and answered all of our questions. On the day of, she and the bridal attendants made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed.

Great space. My husband and I got married here just over 2 years ago. We had about 250 guests and they fit comfortably. Also, I feel like no one talks about this but these chairs were the most comfortable chairs I found after looking at dozens of venues. The food was great, our DJ was easily able to fit his equipment. It was all around a wonderful day! -

From day one when my husband and I went to see the venue and talk with Kristina, we knew this was the venue for our wedding. Beautiful venue! We fell inlove with it. Her attention to detail and unwavering support made the planning feel like a breeze, and we felt confident that we were in good hands every step of the way. Despite the excellent service provided by Kristina and the gorgeous property of Galloping Hill, one of the highlights of our wedding day was the exceptional staff, particularly our day-of coordinator, Emily, and bridal attendants, Michelle and Tori. They were by our sides the entire day, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that all of our needs were met. They were always two steps ahead of us and knew exactly what we needed or wanted before we even asked for it. Their dedication and professionalism made us feel like royalty on our special day. The culinary offerings at The Clubhouse were nothing short of extraordinary. Our guests were treated to a variety of delicious food that left everyone raving. From the hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour to the mouthwatering New York Strip Steak during dinner, every dish was expertly prepared, portioned generously and beautifully presented. The ambiance at The Clubhouse was simply the best. The modern and elegant ballroom, with its unique flooring, floor to ceiling windows giving a view of the golf course and stunning modern chandeliers, provided the perfect setting for our celebration. In terms of value for money, The Clubhouse surpassed all expectations. The package they provide you with is UNBEATABLE and they OVER DELIVER!!! The level of service, quality of food, and overall experience far exceeded what we could have hoped for. Another one of the highlights of our wedding day was the unique experience of being escorted to and from the ceremony space (which is next to a lake with a classic and timeless white arch with white lawn chairs) on golf carts. It added an element of fun and excitement that our guests are still talking about, including us! For couples considering this venue for their own wedding, we wholeheartedly recommend it. You won't find a more beautiful or accommodating venue to celebrate your special day. Our wedding day at The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill Golf Course was everything we had dreamed of and more! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill in July 2023, and it was an awesome experience. Here are some of the highlights of our wedding:
Venue - The location made it super easy for travelers, regardless if they were coming by car (Parkway) or by plane (Newark Airport). The groomsman and dads made the best of the venue being a golf course, they all played 9-holes the morning of. The getting ready areas are not the most lavish, but they were well stocked with food and drinks, and you realize that they have all that you need. We had our ceremony inside, and the large windows allowed for so much natural light to come into the building. We had about 170 guests, and the cocktail area, terrace, and ballroom not only had so much space, but it also provided great areas for different crowds to gather during our wedding. The ballroom is really spacious. You were not sitting on top of the tables next to you, and there was still room for a really large dance floor. The terrace was a huge hit, and seems like it would be great for all types of weather, rain or shine, hot or cold. We had an extra bar put out there during cocktail hour, and it became a huge hangout spot for people that wanted a break from the dance floor. Our servers were even serving dessert out there late in the night. The ballroom is almost a blank canvas, and provides a great opportunity for personalization. The last thing we will mention is the food. The cocktail hour stations were raved about, and guests had good things to say about dinner too (which frequently goes unmentioned at a large catered event). The amount of options you have to choose from really allows you to pick the food that you and your guests will want to have. Something to keep in mind if you are getting married in the summer: it is a difficult task to keep it cool in the ballroom. With the ballroom being on the second floor, the sun beating into the floor to ceiling windows, and guests constantly opening and closing doors to walk outside, we, and our guests, were hot. But again, we chose to get married in July. If you have a summer wedding too, we suggest bringing paper or handheld fans.
Flexibility - We mentioned all of the options for food, but all around, this place really lets you make your wedding your own. The ballroom allows for pretty much any color linens, and they had dozens to choose from. The staff was open to any and all ideas that we had throughout our engagement. They made it known that they would work with us on food, drinks, locations for decorations, timelines, you name it. We were happy that we could bounce ideas off of them, and didn’t have to follow a cookie-cutter approach.
Staff - Kristina was amazing. So responsive, sweet, and you could tell she loves doing what she does. From the initial tour through our final planning meeting, she was so easy to work with. We were handed over to Emily, who handled the rehearsal, and was there throughout the wedding. Everyone else, whether their role was big or small, really contributed to keeping such a happy and energetic atmosphere for all of our family and friends. The bridal attendants always made sure important people (bride and groom, parents, MOH, Best Man, etc.) had a drink and everything they needed. They really seemed to have fun watching us all have fun.

The staff at Galloping Hill Clubhouse was absolutely fantastic! Each person involved was able to answer all our questions and address any concerns that we may have had. Kristina Lama was a God send! She was pleasant to work with and helped me navigate every aspect of our reception. Our Wedding attendants were also amazing! On the day of our reception they were working hard to make sure my husband and I were able to enjoy every moment of our day! They even made sure that our dinner and dessert was packed and ready to go back with us to the hotel! This will definitely be a day I'll never forget! -

Kristina and Emily at the Galloping Hill venue helped us greatly in planning our daughter's beautiful wedding. They gave us a wonderful brochure that covered the important details and also gave us recommendations for vendors. They patiently answered all of our questions by phone and by email in a very timely manner. We met with both Kristina and Emily in the course of planning, and Emily was the coordinator the day of the amazing cocktail party and reception. Everything was just perfect after only 3 months of planning. The abundant food spread and wedding cake were delicious. The ballroom looked gorgeous with all of the fine touches. All of the recommended vendors were excellent and added to the ambiance and party atmosphere that my daughter and her husband had hoped for. Many thanks to the incredible event planning team, Kristina and Emily, and to all of the staff for making this such a very special and memorable day!

We got married on 10/2/22 and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Kristina was our point person and walked us through every step of the process. She would answer all my questions and get back to me so quickly. She made the process so easy for us and it was very organized from start to finish. Thank you so much Kristina!!! The venue is absolutely beautiful. It rained the morning of our wedding but was overcast later in the day and we were able to get pictures on the golf course which I was so happy about. The grounds are just so beautiful! All of our guests truly enjoyed the cocktail hour, main courses and desserts and haven't stopped complimenting on how good everything was. Everyone was complimenting the abundance and variety of foods that were served and how outstanding the service was. We would highly recommend the Galloping Hill and will definitely have other events here in the future. -

We had our wedding here August 21st, 2022. It was a dream! The team is so professional and helpful! Up until the big day Kristina was so responsive and at times literally walking us through the steps. On the big day her team was amazing at following details! They ensured we had an awesome and epic wedding! Everyone raves about the food (We only had a bite of our salmon, thank God for the tasting). I would do it all over again and especially here. Definitely plan on having more events here! -

The entire team at Galloping Hill was a pleasure to work with - even through COVID 19. I had to postpone my wedding twice and they were flexible, patient, and accommodating. There were no additional fees for postponing, and they responded quickly and honestly to all of our questions an concerns.
Our wedding was beautiful! We were the only wedding party at the venue, and Maria (our wedding coordinator) could not have done a better job making sure the day ran smoothly. The ballroom is beautiful and looks out onto the gorgeous golf course. The food is delicious and so much is included in the very affordable price! Check Instagram for coupons! Thanks to everyone at Galloping Hills Golf Course for making our wedding day a magical event. Planning a COVID wedding was no easy task. However, with the assistance of Maria and Kristina, every aspect of our day went flawlessly. The wedding ceremony location was beautiful, with all of the fall foliage and adorable deer, created an amazing view for our guests. The appetizers, drinks and dinner were PERFECT! My guests couldn't stop complimenting all of the appetizers and dinner selections. (even the fussiest family members were satisfied) Everything was served hot and seasoned to perfection. The ballroom was spacious enough that all of our guests were able to social distance but enjoy themselves in a safe, yet beautiful event space. Please don't pass up the opportunity to reserve The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill Golf Course for your wedding or event. -

Galloping Hill is beautiful. Our wedding was in August and had ceremony outside. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff transported all the guest in golf carts. Which my guest thought that was great! The cocktail hour has room for guest inside and outside over looking the golf course watching the sunset. The reception room was nice and big. Plenty of room for my guest to dance. The food was amazing!! Staff was great from start to finish. I will recommend this place to anyone that is looking. It’s 5 star place. -

Our wedding reception was absolutely perfection at Galloping Hill Golf Course! From the moment we stepped foot in the clubhouse, we knew this was the place for us. Our guests continue to rave about the amazing cocktail hour and the best dinner at a reception they’ve ever had- the list goes on! The views of the gold course are breath taking no matter what time of year and make an amazing back drop for photos. If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely have my wedding here again and even more events to come in the future. -

Jennifer and Cynthia were so accommodating and they tended to our needs to ensure our day was stress free! And it was! We were running a little behind schedule but they were so patient with us. The ceremony was absolutely amazing! All of our guest commented on the beautiful grounds and amazing greenery. Also the site of the sunset from the balcony was to die for! We booked this venue WAY before it even opened with NO reviews to look at, NO actual weddings to see and it didn't matter! Jennifer promised our wedding would be everything we dreamt of and she was absolutely right!
Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to end! She never lost patience with my endless questions and was always so sweet! I'll never forget when Jennifer showed us the ballroom the day of the wedding and being completely blown away at how beautiful everything came out! This venue is the PERFECT place if you're looking for a sleek & trendy but elegant look! No ugly drapes or carpets here! Brides, your imagination can run WILD if you choose this venue! The views of the golf course are absolutely beautiful, the wrap around terrace was perfect for our cigar roller! It's truly an amazing venue, beautiful inside and out!
Cynthia, our bridal attendant, was by far the most sweetest & AMAZING person ever! She was so attentive to not only my husband and I, but to our bridal party as well. She always made sure that everything was fine or if we needed anything but we never had to ask for a single thing because she knew we needed it before we even knew! We absolutely adored her! The food is definitely not your typical wedding food, it's actually DELICIOUS! The steak & sea bass was EVERYTHING! Cynthia packed us to go bags for us to enjoy back at the hotel and it was SO GOOD after our long night of dancing! Our reception was more than we could've imagined and it's all thanks to the amazing staff at Galloping Hill Golf Course! We cannot thank them enough! Book your wedding here and you will NOT be disappointed!
