Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin except to say - BOOK CLOSING TIME NOW! Ryan and the rest of the band members were without a doubt, the best part of our wedding. As a bride and groom who were absolutely set on booking a DJ, we opted to check out some bands at the request of our family members. Needless to say, we could not have been happier with Closing Time. Not only are they amazing musically, they're stellar performers - we got our wedding pictures back and the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire time with every age range of guest - all thanks to Closing Time. As a bride and groom who were anxious about logistics leading up to the wedding day, Ryan was always there to help. His calm demeanor and ability to make light of any situation was such a comfort to us. Additionally, they're simply just great people. My father-in-law was ill during our reception and needed to go rest, meaning we had to do a quick shift in the schedule and move up some key events. Ryan and the rest of the band understood without hesitation and even interrupted their break for dinner to make sure my father-in-law could see the Mother/Son and Father/Daughter dances before he needed to rest. It was so appreciated. Again, we absolutely cannot speak more highly of them. Closing Time was the highlight of our wedding without a doubt. THANK YOU so much Closing Time! -

Closing Time was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding. From planning with Ryan, the band’s manager, to the song selections, lighting, and sound, everything was top quality. The band members are all very talented and professional. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing Closing Time was. If we could give more than five stars, we would. The dance floor was packed the entire night. The variety of songs, the seamless transitions, and the overall ambience that Closing Time brings is unmatched. Closing Time made our wedding so memorable! We had people coming up to us all night absolutely raving about how amazing they were. The dance floor was never empty and they kept the energy up all night long. Our first-dance and father-daughter songs were also not on their setlist, but they learned them for us and played them perfectly. They are so talented and true professionals. -

It is already a month after our wedding and our guests are still talking about how awesome Closing Time was. They brought the party all night long! Their song choices and high energy performance are unmatched! The dance floor was packed all night! They were also so easy to work with. The week before the wedding we had a great phone call to go over every detail of the wedding from start to finish - they were willing to try every idea we had and made sure to include songs that were important to us. They were flexible with us day of, allowing us to walk up and ask them to do things during the night such as announce our T- Shirt toss when we were ready. I could not recommend them more for an unforgettable night! -

We can’t say enough good things about our wedding band—they were an absolute blast! From the very first song, they completely captured our vibe and kept the energy high all night long. So many of our guests have told us they were the best band at a wedding they’ve ever seen, and the band was a huge part of why everyone had such a great time.
We’re still hearing raving reviews about how talented they were—people couldn’t stop dancing, and the setlist was perfectly curated to keep everyone on the floor. We had originally contemplated doing a photo booth, but we’re so glad we didn’t—no one wanted to leave the dance floor, including us!
We also want to shout out the incredibly talented pianist and guitarist who played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They created the perfect ambiance and made those moments feel so special and personal.
The MC was absolutely amazing, guiding the night flawlessly and keeping everything flowing smoothly—truly helped make the evening stress-free and fun for everyone.
On top of all that, they handled the uplighting too. When we realized we’d chosen the wrong color, they immediately switched it without hesitation, which made such a difference in setting the perfect mood.
If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and insanely talented group of musicians who will elevate every part of your day, look no further. We’re so grateful they were part of our wedding! -

HIRE CLOSING TIME NOW!!! Stop looking for any other band and book the best band right now. We had our wedding in Newport, RI and every person single person mentioned how the band made the wedding. Don’t cheap out on the best entertainment so you can hear how you had the best wedding from all your guests for a lifetime. Just do it. An absolute 20 out of 10 rating! -

We saw Closing Time play at a friend's wedding a couple years back and we were sold on two things: 1) We needed a live band for our wedding and 2) it had to be Closing Time. They are incredible to work with and even more so once they start playing. They got everyone of all ages on the dance floor and kept the energy going all night. One of the most common things I heard after the wedding was how great the band was. I truly cannot recommend them enough for a wedding. -

We hired Closing Time for our wedding band and they absolutely blew us away. Due to weather issues out of our control (including loss of electricity at the venue), the band was unfortunately unable to play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. However, they were able to quickly transition to prerecorded versions of our processional/recessional songs. Despite the power still being out for the first two hours of our reception, Closing Time delivered. They were incredibly professional throughout and the live music was absolutely phenomenal. Multiple guests came up to us throughout the night asking how we found them, as well as telling us this was the best wedding band they has heard. Their captivating performance kept the dance floor full the entire evening. I can't thank Closing Time enough for providing such amazing music for our wedding. -

Deciding on a band was the decision we weighed the most and took the longest to decide on. Ultimately, we were thrilled with Closing Time and would hire them again in a heartbeat. They were very easy to work with and said yes to all of our requests. That included assistance editing a song for the ceremony and most importantly, allowing one of us to play a song with the band. They helped us organize the timing for when the groom would play and it was a crazy surprise for the guests and went so well. That is one of our favorite moments from the entire day and they made it happen. We also provided a few must plays and several other preferred songs. They built a song list around our preferences and it felt very much like us. They have depth and range and clearly rehearse as you can tell from the transitions between songs and the flow of the sets. It shows so much in how great they sound and how smoothly things flow. They were fantastic. The band was absolutely one of the top two things we received the most compliments on. -

Our wedding was halfway between NYC and Boston and after an exhaustive search for bands in both cities, we chose Closing Time for our wedding in May because their quality is excellent (have listened to many bands across and unedited recording) and they were fairly priced. We got exactly what we expected! They had everyone dancing including our parents and older family members until the last song. Everyone raved about how great the band was, and the wedding coordinator at our venue told us she was trying to get Closing Time on their preferred vendor list. A relative who's in the hotel business the in Boston area and seen many weddings said "you're band was excellent, will definitely be giving their name to our wedding people". My father (who was originally against having a band) came up to us immediately after wedding and told us Closing Time was best decision of night. Closing Time also did a great hora for us which was important for us. They were very easy to work with and made our day special for us!
We had sax and keys for cocktail hour and an 8 piece band. -

We couldn't have been happier with Closing Time! Their professionalism was evident from the moment we booked with them. They met with us to meticulously review the details of our entire day, hear our music preferences, and accommodate special events at the reception. On the day of the wedding, they ensured everything was perfectly set up for their performances at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The quality of their music was exceptional – from elegant music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, to upbeat hits at the reception. They played a fantastic set that was full of energy and kept the dancing going for the entire night. Having great music and nonstop dancing was the top priority for our wedding, and Closing Time was undoubtedly the best choice we made to ensure this. Countless guests approached us in the days and weeks after the wedding to comment on how amazing and unforgettable they were. Highly recommend them! -

As soon as I got engaged, Closing Time was the first vendor I called! I saw them at a friend's wedding a few years prior, and knew I had to book them for my wedding. From the admin/communication leading up to the wedding to the dance floor vibes all night - everything was a 10/10. We even had engaged friends reach out after the wedding to get their information so they could book them for their own upcoming weddings. To say the Closing Time band rocked our socks off would be the understatement of the century! My husband and I, along with all of our guests, were blown away by the band's sheer talent, energy, and ability to get everyone on their feet and excited for the next song. Ryan and the band worked with us from start to finish to plan an excelelnt performance, which included beautiful acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour, masterful MC'ing to kick off our dinner reception formalities, and an incredible full band performance that had us and all of our guests dancing all night. We had so much fun, and I cannot even begin to count how many compliments we have received since our wedding across the board. The band is so musically talented, has a knack for choosing just the right song for the moment, and just brought so much fun to the party. We strongly believe having Closing Time perform at our wedding was one of hte absolute best decisions we made, and really brought our wedding as a whole to the next level. They are worth their weight in gold - if you are thinking about Closing Time, you need to hire them! Like us, you will be so happy you did! -

I thought Closing Time was great in their promo video, and they're even BETTER in person. Seriously. They're fun and energetic, total treat for the guests. The dance floor was electric all night long. We had an 150 person wedding, and I'd say there were over 100 people on the dance floor the WHOLE night. I had a million people ask about our band because they were so good. They have an amazing range. They can do classic songs, MoTown, 80s, 90s, 00s, you name it. We added two horn players. I feel so lucky to have had Ryan and his band at our wedding. He and Ken are so easy to work with... super accommodating and responsive. If they are available for your date, BOOK CLOSING TIME BOSTON! -

Closing Time is a must have at your wedding!! When we started planning our big day having a band was at the top of our list. We are so glad we had Closing Time as our band for our wedding! They were absolutely amazing! Ryan was professional and great to work with leading up to the big day and the rest of the band members were great on the day as well!
Over two months have past since our big day and our guests are still mentioning how great the band was!
We had Ryan as the guitarist for cocktail hour which we got raving reviews from the guests on how great the music at cocktail hour was and then the full band for the reception! The dance floor was full the entire night! The set list was unreal and there was songs for all guests to enjoy!
We want to have a party again just so we can have Closing Time back to preform, they are that good! If you are thinking of a band for your big day, look no further! Book Closing Time, you will not regret it! -

Wow! We are so lucky we chose Closing Time as our wedding band. Aside from the amazing music, Ryan and the band were so professional and he was such a great MC for all announcements, introductions, etc!
The band made the ENTIRE night!! Our guests were giving them standing ovations just from their music they played during the dinner! Everyone was immediately on the dance floor after dinner, and they did not leave the dance floor until the wedding was over! Their talent and the music was just phenomenal.
Ryan was so great in the pre-wedding phone call to make sure everyone's names would be pronounced correctly, to make sure they played all our favorite songs, and to go over all logistics.
We are sooo happy we chose Closing Time! Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable and amazing!!! -

Top notch!
Closing time did an amazing job!! Of all my vendors, the band was the easiest to work. Ryan was super responsive and helpful when I had questions ranging from Covid options and music choices. They have a very broad range of songs in their set list, and I even threw in a few not on their list and they accommodated my requests without any problem!
Bands in general are more pricey than a DJ but you can't go wrong with closing time. They set up the perfect set list of classics jams, avoiding anything cheesy. We added an acoustic guitar for the ceremony processional and cocktail hour and I'm so glad we did. When it came time for the processional it was amazing to have someone there playing live music to help adjust the pace or extend a song when there were delays.
Throughout all our planning, we were nervous about having a band with COVID precautions and they ended up really making the night fun and easy.

Closing Time deserve all the five star reviews they get. The dance floor was packed the entire night at our wedding, and the band played a great variety of songs. Guests of all ages enjoyed the party, but the set was still very current. Communication with the band leading up to the "big day" was solid. Book them without hesitation. -

I have a million wonderful things to say about Closing Time!! Booking them for our wedding was such a great decision. We really explored so many options for wedding bands and Closing Time was the clear decision for us. Ryan and Julia both have fantastic voices, and the whole band is SUPER talented, not to mention they're also energetic, fun, good looking!!, lively, and they put on a great performance! They played such a wide range of genres (per our request!) for our wedding, and our guests were on the dance floor all night! Ryan, the band leader, and Cory, the band manager, were both in constant contact with us from our initial inquiry until the day of our wedding. They were both SO helpful, friendly, and responsive, and gave us so much confidence that the musical portion of our wedding would be executed flawlessly. Ryan really customized our wedding playlist with lots of great insight about how to keep the vibe right for the whole day. We hired the band for 3 different portions of our wedding day - we had the keyboard for our ceremony, Ryan played acoustic guitar sang for our cocktail hour (our guests went nuts; they LOVED him), and then we had the full band, including horns, for our reception. The price was also fantastic for how amazing the band truly was. I wouldn't change a thing - they were SO good!!! I can't recommend them enough!!! -

Closing Time helped make our day so special. Ryan and the team were so easy to work with. We discussed the vibe we were hoping for (maximum dancing) and the songs I wanted to avoid. They were so great to learn our first dance song for us and even played "All I Want for Christmas" to add some holiday flavor to our December wedding.
The dance floor was packed ALL night and I'm still hearing praise for the band two months later. Highly recommend! -

My wife and I had known this band from their days playing at Waxy's in Foxboro. They always put on a great show then and they didn't disappoint at our reception. We dealt with Scott for the initial phase of planning and then Ryan took over once we got closer. They both were great. Open to any question and suggestion and always responded quickly. I believe Ryan even had a serious family emergency in the weeks leading up to our wedding and still found time to answer us. We also spoke on the phone with Ryan directly several times to get set lists and order of events all planned out.
As for the reception performance, my wife and I received numerous compliments about this band. They were on time, upbeat, professional and had people dancing all night.
I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market and will definitely be using them again. -

We knew we wanted live music at our wedding, and Closing Time ended up being one of the most talked about highlights of our day! Ryan and the team were so organized, professional, so kind, and accommodated all our requests flawlessly - including complicated first dances. The set list they played for us and our guests was SO perfect that no one wanted to sit down for a single song!! And the energy was so infectious that we had wedding crashers who lived near the venue come all the way over just to inquire who was playing! It’s a month later and our friends and family are still buzzing about them and how much fun the dance floor was. You will NOT regret booking them!! -

The Closing Time Band were an absolute pleasure to work with. Band Leader, Ryan had a clear understanding of what it takes to
provide exceptional entertainment for our guests, while we able to focus on simply enjoying our event.
The methodical professionalism set forth by Ryan's pre planning with us was priceless.
His attention to detail went beyond anything we would have thought of ourselves, right down to engineering the sound quality of the full band to this specific venue, so that the music was audibly enjoyable for all our guests.
The tremendous talent of the musicians would end up being dwarfed by Ryan's ability to tactfully and personably emcee the event.
As the night progressed, we understood it was the band, Closing Time, that represented to our guests the wedding day that we had planned so carefully. Besides the bride and groom, the band was our guests focal point and 'The Vibe" brought forth was a wonderful visual and musical spectacle as the wedding planner, florists, caterer, and everything else went unseen.
Now, 6 weeks later, our guests still rave of the unforgettable celebration that took place!
I am grateful that I was able to talk my daughter the bride, from a Ho-Hum D.J with tacky props, to the upscale entertainment that Closing Time brought to the table.

Where do I start? Closing Time was everything we expected and more. There was not a single guest at our wedding who did not comment on how great the band was.
Being a musician, having sung and played in bands myself, I was incredibly apprehensive about choosing the music for our wedding. My husband and I scouted at least 10 different wedding bands, watching demo videos and going to live shows. We saw Closing Time at The Lawn on D and hands down I was singing along to pretty much every song. Their sound, vocals and song selection are top notch, and I will freely admit that I am incredibly picky when it comes to music. I actually went to the Lawn on D several more times to see them play before our wedding.
Communications with their agent was uncomplicated and Ryan the front man was very responsive. I expected having to meet with the band a couple of times to discuss the details. Boy was I wrong! Ryan clarified everything in ONE phone call, and I did not have to lift another finger or even waste another thought on anything music related.
The ceremony music was just as I imagined, MCing and announcing went smoothly and the dance floor was packed from the first song to the last!
THANK YOU CLOSING TIME FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING DAY TRULY PERFECT!

They played stuff for the younger people and seamlessly blended into songs the older people loved. The dance floor was full the entire night. I can't say enough good things about Closing Time. My only regret is not having Ryan sing live for my walk down the aisle cause holy cow does he have an amazing voice! I've been to other weddings with bands and these guys blow everyone out of the water. I'm so glad we had them at our wedding, they made it unforgettable.
