Best wedding venue

BEST WEDDING VENUE I could have imagined. Kristen, Nick, Debbie & staff were all incredible from day 1 and especially the day of. They are exceptionally professional and good at what they do, yet somehow super affordable. The food was amazing (appetizers, meals & cake) - guests were texting me the next day just to say how good it was. The decor came together flawlessly (they set everything up and even tore it down afterwards and placed in boxes for us to pick up the next day). It rained, so our ceremony had to get moved indoors last minute, and it ended up being beautiful and perfect. The space looked amazing. All night long people were telling us this was the best wedding they've been to. I cannot say enough good things about the CWC - they are absolute pros. If you have any doubts, just meet with Kristen and you'll know you made the right choice.

Personal, welcoming, wonderful!

Kristen and the staff at CWC were wonderful throughout the process - they gave us a lot of leeway to do things our own way but also provided guidance and best practices when we were indecisive. Kristen helped facilitate our pre-ceremony cocktail hour seamlessly, and the gazebo outside was simple and lovely for our ceremony. Inside, the space was perfect for a cozy dinner and a packed dance floor. Couldn't have asked for anything else from CWC and would highly recommend!

The staff at the CWC are fantastic! Kristen is extremely organized and easy to work with on all of the planning details. Many of our guests complimented us on how intimate the reception felt and how delicious the dinner was. We would highly recommend the CWC!

The Clintonville Woman’s Club is absolutely amazing. Our wedding was perfect, thanks to the help of Kristen and the staff at the CWC. Kristen is so knowledgeable, helpful, and she made everything so easy and stress free. The food was amazing and the staff was incredible. Debi was so attentive to everyone’s needs. The venue is beautiful and can be customized to your wedding theme. Everything was extremely affordable! If you are looking for a beautiful, stress free, easy, and affordable venue- the CWC is it! I also can’t say enough how wonderful Kristen is to work with- she really made our wedding perfect.

I just can’t say how grateful we are that we had our wedding at the Woman’s Club. Kristen. Is. Amazing. The food was great, the venue was great, we loved the cake, the planning was stress-free - everything was great.

Also - it was incredibly affordable! So many other places want to charge for this and for that whereas the Clintonville Woman’s Club is straightforward and reasonably priced.

Working with Kristen was outstanding throughout the entire experience. Thank you for everything.

Clintonville Women's Club was the perfect venue for our reception. Kristin was easy to work with and helpful throughout the whole planning process. It was so nice not to have to worry about set up or tear down since the club did all of that for us. All we had to do was drop off a box of our decorations/favors a night or two before our wedding and they did the rest! All the food was delicious! I've had multiple people tell me since that the food there was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I was worried that with plated meals the service might be slow or the food cold, but everyone I spoke with said their food came promptly and warm. The portions were good too. No one was still hungry after dinner. The cake that is included from Cakes of Distinction was also delicious. Kristin was very accommodating. Our florist, bartender, and DJ were all able to set up without any issue. Kristin was very prompt with email responses and even gave us her cell phone number to ensure we didn't need anything last minute. Our reception ended up going an hour and a half longer than we originally booked and the Clintonville Women's Club team seemed happy to stay for us. We are so appreciative of how much work Kristin and her team put into our wedding to make our day so fun and less stressful than we expected.

Planning a wedding was made so easy with Kristen at the Clintonville Woman's Club! Any questions I had were answered promptly, and simply. I felt like I had control, but with plenty of seasoned guidance as to what will work and what wouldn't. Our guests raved about the food and atmosphere. Kristen even made it possible for us to have a rotating chandelier made of old LPs. She was so easy to talk to and obviously understood my vision for the big Day! If I could get married again, I'd do it all again at CWC. Such a reasonable price and nothing is hidden or unexpectedly on our bill.

Kristen Steinhausser, director of sales and catering of Clintonville Women's Club was awesome. She was easy to work with, had answers to all of our questions, anticipated any issues we may not have thought of, and was professional in every sense of the way. I highly recommend Clintonville Women's Club for any event which includes catering. The venue was beautiful and the food was incredible.

I'm so happy we went with the Clintonville Woman's Club for our ceremony and reception. Nowhere else that we found came close to its quality within our budget. I really appreciated how responsive and organized the wedding coordinator, Kristen, was, and the combination of her professionalism and a high-quality package made for a relatively stress-free planning experience. We really had hoped to be married in the CWC's outdoor space, but when the ceremony had to be moved inside because of the weather, it still looked great thanks to the staff's decorating. There was one little mixup with food orders for about five of our 130+ guests, but the CWC went above and beyond to correct the issue, and everyone was happy and had a great time. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an affordable, beautiful, stress-free wedding with delicious food.

I cannot say enough great things about the Clintonville Woman's Club! We had both our ceremony and reception there on September 10. Their coordinator, Kristen, is amazing! She helps make sure all the little details are taken care of so you don't have anything to worry about on your wedding day. The staff takes care of setting up and tearing down, and they even have a lot of decorations you can use at no extra cost! The only decorations we ended up buying we floating candles. The reception space was absolutely beautiful! And we got so many compliments on how delicious The food was, which was really important to us. The cake is included in the cost, and made by an outside bakery. It was honestly the best wedding cake I've ever had. I would not have changed a thing about this place! I couldn't have been happier!

I couldn't have been more pleased that my husband and I decided to have our ceremony and reception at the Clintonville Woman's Club. We decided to go with them because we liked the idea of having our ceremony and reception at the same location, because we loved their beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and because we were so impressed with Kristen, their wedding coordinator, and with the value we felt like we'd be getting. Kristen was such a huge help all throughout our planning process. She quickly responded to any emails or questions I had, and was so patient and laid back. She has been working for the woman's club for years and years, so it is a smooth-running machine.
They have decorations, table linens, stuff for centerpieces, etc... that are all available and included in the cost (there's just one small decoration fee to hang the lanterns- I want to say only $35, which is so worth it!). We used their lights, lanterns, vases for centerpieces, candle holders, as well as their dishes, linens, etc... We brought in flowers and some other decorations of our own, but they set it all up for us, which saved so much extra work and worry in the days leading up to the wedding. The Woman's Club also work with Cakes of Distinction in Powell, so the cost of your wedding cake is included as well! The cake was beautiful (they decorate it however you want) and delicious, and again, one less thing and one less vendor we had to worry about.
All in all, we couldn't have been more pleased with the planning process and with the way our day ran- Kristen and the whole staff were so helpful and professional. I highly recommend them!

I love this venue. I come here for swing dancing when there's a band booked for an evening, and so we knew we would love dancing. We are swing dancers, and our families love to dance in general, so having a nice wooden floor at an affordable cost was a must.

Kristen was so great to work with! This was the first year they ran an open house (in late January/early February) so all the couples booked for the year could pick out their decorations, florals, cake, linens, seating arrangement, and catering options. After two hours, we had made all the major decisions and I spent the rest of the year having fun with DIY projects because I knew they would take care of everything for me.

I ended up buying chair covers and sashes to save on rental costs (which weren't high in the first place), and we made our own centerpieces. I was warned to label everything clearly since the CWC staff would be setting everything up for me. Well, I did, and when we arrived for our grand entrance, I was floored with how well they did everything! Seriously, label every single box and mark on the seating arrangement chart where you want stuff to go, and they will do EXACTLY as you ask.

Plus, we brought our own pop and alcohol, which saved costs. Our families RAVED about the food, and I literally ate everything on my plate (so much for being a nervous bride!). The whole experience was so smooth after months of planning, I almost want to do it again for the fun of it.

Clintonville Woman's Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! I could not have pictured a more beautiful setting, outdoors under the gazebo for the ceremony, and inside under the glistening lights at the reception. Clintonville Woman's Club has it all and a very reasonable price! Kristen was so helpful throughout the entire process and did a fantastic job coordinating the whole event. Not only is the venue beautiful and the staff wonderful, the food is amazing! My guests said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about the Clintonville Woman's Club and I would recommend to bride to check it out when planning for your big day!

Our wedding reception at CWC was amazing! Kristen was a big help throughout the planning process. We appreciated being able to use their inventory for our centerpieces and not having to pay extra to rent them or for set-up. Being able to bring our own alcohol and bartender was a great money-saver, as was not having to pay a room fee in addition to the food costs. And the fact that the cake was included was... well, icing on the cake! The food was excellent—many of our guests said so as well! We did not have a DJ, but the friendly staff helped us keep the evening moving along smoothly so we were able to do everything we needed before I time ran out. (It goes so fast and it's easy to lose track of time!) We were also glad we didn't have to worry about set-up, tear-down or clean-up. The staff at CWC is so friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other venues. Highly recommend!

The Clintonville Women's Club was absolutely the best choice for us for our Wedding Reception. Kristen was very well organized and that took a lot of stress away from me during our planning process. I knew things would get done the way she said they would and she did not fail us. The food was great and we still get compliments from friends and family regarding the food. The Club was decorated for us and it was perfect for a New Years Eve wedding. The whole experience with the Clintonville Women's club was perfect from start to finish!

The Clintonville Woman's Club was an amazing venue to work with. Kristen, the Catering Director was a pleasure to work with. We visited and met with roughly a dozen venues, and this was the only venue that we both felt actually cared about our wedding and not about how much money they could squeeze out of us. The venue was set up perfectly and on time, they took care of the decorations exactly how we wanted them and had the gazebo set up just right for our ceremony. The food was delicious, we received many compliments that the food was some of the best they have had at any wedding. The service staff that night was amazing, they were professional, friendly and kept everything moving. I really can't say enough positive things about the Woman's Club. They made our night really memorable.

My husband and I loved working with Kristen and the staff for our wedding reception. Kristen was incredibly helpful with planning. She was very responsive and met with me on several occasions. The reception decorations turned out beautifully! She was open to us bringing some special ethnic food items. The food and service was delicious! Also, the cake that was provided with the reception hall was amazing and everyone liked it!

Kristen and her team at the Clintonville Woman's Club made our wedding dreams come true. The day was forecasted to be a scorcher but the shaded ceremony and indoor reception were flawless. The cake and catering were delicious. The beef tenderloin was fantastic! Kristen met with us several times for planning and coordinating ideas with several people attending. She had many decorations to choose from and even added more to some items were brought! Her team was great during the reception and clean up was a breeze! Beautiful site and great service!

Aug4 wedding, a/c failed to cool hall while ceiling fans stayed off.. Indoor temp 80+.. Most guests found it unbearable and left early.. I notified mgt the following week and received a rather uncaring response.. Being the second wedding this family held there in the past 6months, I would have expected more attention and understanding.. Disappointed
