We hired Cling & Peck for our April 2026 wedding after we saw their work at one of our friends' weddings. The minute we saw their final photos and videos from their wedding day, we knew we wanted to book the team at Cling & Peck. We had the honor and privilege of working with the Founder, Daniel, and we loved every minute of working with him and his crew.
We had one introduction call with Daniel and promptly booked the team right after, which was about a year in advance of our wedding date, in order to secure them for our wedding day. I highly recommend booking the team as soon as possible because they are quite popular and for good reason - their work is absolutely stunning. From the big, gorgeous moments to the smaller, intimate moments of the day, Cling & Peck captures the emotions and energy of the day in such a beautiful way that the photos look so natural, never forced, and truly authentic. From the posed photos with all of your family members to the candid photos of just you and your fiancé that you never suspected they would photograph - they document it all. (Their candid shots are always my favorite and always turn out so beautiful that it takes your breath away).
We signed up for the team's photography and videography services for our wedding day. The team has been working together for a while, which was very important to us. We wanted a crew that had an established groove and knew how to ebb and flow around one another on our big day. It was important for us that the photographers and videographers knew how to capture every moment of our wedding day, while working around one another seamlessly to not get in the way of any shots. We also liked having photography and videography all under one roof. Why work with two vendors that you hope work well together when you can hire one vendor and know everyone knows one another and works well together?
We also had the bonus of working with Daniel for our engagement photos, which we used for our save-the-dates. My fiancé and I were a bit nervous, as we usually do not like to be photographed, but Daniel made us both feel super comfortable and instructed us during our photoshoot. We never felt awkward or silly, but very natural, and that showed in the final photos, which turned out stunning.
The same could be said on our wedding day. Daniel and his entire team made us feel super comfortable and were there to guide us along the way for any photos or videos we wanted to capture. It honestly was like having an extension of our family there rather than another vendor; that is how great the Cling & Peck crew is - they feel like friends more than a team of photographers and videographers.
Daniel was also there to lend an extra hand on our wedding if we needed it. He has seen hundreds of weddings (if not thousands) and knew what to do if we needed someone to step in. From properly pinning my veil into my hair to tips on how to first cut the wedding cake, Daniel and his team were more than a team of photographers and videographers - they were wedding day experts.
When figuring out what shots we wanted to capture for our engagement photos and on our wedding day, Daniel set up a very detailed questionnaire so we could provide as much or as little detail as possible to help the team capture the moments that were most important to us. He even sets up a couple of calls to make sure everyone was on the same page for the big day. He also welcomes vision boards and inspiration shots for him and his team to review before capturing your wedding day. If you want to let them take the lead and trust their expert eye, they do that too. Or you can have a mix of both. The team is completely flexible to what you have envisioned and allows you to be as involved or uninvolved as you would like. No matter what option you decide, your photos are sure to turn out impeccable.
Do not wait to book your engagement/wedding photographer and videographer. They are some of the most important vendors for your wedding day, and if you need recommendations, truly look no further than Cling & Peck. -

Beyond amazing
Daniel and his team at Cling & Peck were an absolute dream to work with! Not only did we get thousands of pictures within weeks of our wedding, but every single one of them captured the love, FUN, and energy of our day. I have been scrolling through them every single day since we have gotten them, so to describe me as obsessed would be an understatement. Not only did they capture the smiles, dancing, details, and special moments, but they were totally down to recreate our first date at the Mariano's and recreate special family wedding pictures. The vendor team is what makes a wedding, and having them capture these moments took a weight off my shoulders knowing we would get the most beautiful representation of our day! After seeing the pictures, we know the video we get back will be just as amazing and look forward to just another way to relive the best day of our lives for years and years to come! -

Cling & Peck is nothing short of fantastic! We worked closely with Daniel (and Emily and Isaac) and they were all incredibly respectful, communicative, and talented. They helped pose us, they made us laugh, and helped us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding day photos were captured perfectly, and I am beyond thankful! We had the best experience with Daniel during our wedding process! Both my husband and I are not the biggest fans of having our photos taken, but Daniel made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured so many amazing moments from the big day. We also had the chance to work with him for our engagement shoot so he really took the time to help us identify our own style and hear what we wanted. We have gotten so much positive feedback from friends and family about the photos and are so grateful to have so many special memories to look back on. I would highly recommend Cling and Peck for those who want a truly authentic representation of their wedding day! -

We highly recommend Daniel from Cling and Peck! Daniel’s work is “NEXT LEVEL”! We are absolutely THRILLED with the wedding album created by Daniel. Every single picture is STUNNING, MODERN, and ELEGANT! Each shot could be easily be featured on any magazine cover. He certainly captured all of the love and joy in the room as well and we couldn’t be happier.

They were extremely easy to work with and did a great job of coordinating with our photographer on the day of, and we are beyond happy with the way the video turned out. My wife and I hired Cling & Peck to shoot our engagement photos and wedding day and we couldn't have been happier. Daniel is a professional and an unbelievably calming presence during an otherwise hectic time. He routinely put us at ease even though neither of us are particularly fond of being the center of attention.
And then of course, the final results. His experience at The Haight (our venue, also recommend) was evident in each and every shot. The lighting, framing, focus - all flawless. He even has that really cool technique for later in the night to create action in the reception shots, getting the exposed light bulbs to trail. So awesome.
Overall, we would recommend Daniel to anyone at any time. We were so thoroughly happy with our decision to hire Cling & Peck and you will not be disappointed if you do as well. -

Daniel and Erin were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! Their style of photography is unique and authentic. For our engagement photos, they came to our house so we could take pictures with our dogs, and then we went downtown Geneva to take pictures. For our wedding at the Haight, had so many ideas for amazing photos of our wedding party and for photos of just the two of us. Daniel and Erin are professional, so kind, and a joy to work with! -

Cling & Peck have been a joy to work with. We had our engagement photos with them and we could not be happier. Dan made us feel at ease, particularly for my fiancé who is not a picture guy. He also took into account our preferences, personalities, relationship history, and even our dog, when choosing locations to shoot with us. I can't wait till the wedding! From start to finish, it was an effortless process, with a perfect finished product. And.. they travel! From Illinois to our wedding in New York, your memories are in good hands!

Michelle Sent on 09/06/2018In short, these people are amazing. We had Daniel & Erin for photography and Audra did the video. They listened to everything we had to say. They were so quick to respond to my random emails. Their website was super easy to use. Their talent is unmatched. They made our middle-of-nowhere, farmtown, Illinois pictures look like Napa Valley. They were so professional and every little detail they provided made all of the difference. Daniel scouted out the forest first and realized how terrible the mosquitos were. By the time I showed up, he had gone out to get 3 different types of bug spray. I'm not sure the field would've even been usable without them. When Erin shows up to my hotel room, I was a little flustered. Her and Audra took my dress outside for some pictures while I regrouped and then Erin made sure I ate and drank some water before putting the dress on. If she didn't remind me, I honestly would've never remembered to do so. They were amazing at staying on task. They asked for a list ahead of time so they knew what and who to get in a shot. Trust me, as the bride and groom, you'll barely remember you're own name that day--so let them handle it.
