Truly amazing!!!

Carrie absolutely blew us away. From our first planning call through wedding weekend and beyond, she was incredibly organized, professional, and so much fun to work with! She made Luke and me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and captured every special moment in a way that you can truly feel in the photos. She is also wonderfully decisive. When it rained the morning of our wedding, Carrie immediately pivoted with backup photo locations, and I never had to think twice because she had every detail handled. And the photos themselves are stunning!!! She edited them beautifully to have a bright, airy, natural feel. Save yourself the time and book Carrie. We truly cannot recommend her enough. -

We booked Carrie for a newborn session and then again right before our daughter turned one for family photos. We are so happy with photos and Carrie has been a dream to work with. My husband and I don’t love posing for photos, but Carrie has a way of capturing moments without it feeling forced or unnatural. We are always amazed by the results. I will be booking with her yearly so she can continue to capture our growing family. Highly recommend!! -

I adore Carrie. I found her online and chose her because her editing style was unmatched; light, airy and natural. From the moment we met at our engagement shoot she felt more like a close friend than anything else. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and let us have fun with any shots we could imagine. On wedding day I couldn't have been more thankful to have her. She kept us on schedule and gave us so many great ideas to get the beautiful pictures we wanted. Hire Carrie and CLH!
From start to finish, Carrie and her team was fantastic. We spoke with Carrie several times over the phone going over details about our day and our specific shots we wanted. The package we chose had her associate Theresa as our photographer and she killed it! Theresa was professional, stayed on time and made sure we got all the shots. All our photos came out better than we could have even imagined. We also ordered a wedding album with CLH and WOW!! Carrie knocked the book out of the park, it’s absolutely stunning. Highly recommend CLH for your wedding photo needs! -

September 2024 Wedding
Carrie was recommended to my by a friend and she did not disappoint! From our first intro conversation to well after my wedding, she was been so professional and genuine. We had Teresa for our day of wedding photography and she was so kind and incredibly attentive to detail before and during our wedding day. She made sure all of the special moments were captured and did so with an amazing attitude. She was punctual and dealt with my family during family pictures in stride. And the pictures….just wow. We were so pleasantly surprised when we got them back and could not stop showing them off to friends and family. We knew they would be great but Teresa and Carrie really amazed us with the way they turned out. The communication throughout the entire process was just what I needed as a stressed out bride. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Carrie and her associate photographer Danielle! Carrie was very professional, quick at responding to emails, and kind throughout the hiring process! Carrie gave us the time and tools to see what her and her associate photographers had produced in past weddings so that we could get an idea of what to expect on our wedding day. It was clear when we saw Danielle's work that we wanted her for our wedding day! Danielle was very professional and didn't waste any time from the minute she arrived that morning! She kept everything moving throughout the day and we felt comfortable and confident with her! She even worked very well with our videographer, he agreed with her set up choices and didn't often need to get a different shot as she would check in with him before moving forward!
Carrie took care of the planning process, including a timeline, and editing/producing our photo gallery. We could not have been happier with the outcome of both Danielle and Carrie's work and would highly recommend CLH for your wedding! Photographers give you pieces of your memories to hold onto for the rest of your life. Out of all the vendors for hire for my Oct 2023 wedding, Carrie by far was the best and easiest one to work with! From her initial email and welcoming phone call, we had an instant rapport that was unlike any other. She was warm, helpful, friendly, passionate, professional; all of the qualities of one the most important vendors you hire that give you lifetime memories. We had ironed out a timeline months ahead of the wedding which eased so much anxiety, along with happily scheduling time to chat whenever I needed it. I got the pleasure of working with a trusted associate photographer who shot the wedding, and Carrie did the gorgeous edits and timely photo delivery despite a very busy fall season! We were in wonderful hands with Theresa who did amazing and got every shot we asked for, and more, even walking through muddy fields fresh from a rainstorm! The level of communication from me to Carrie and onto Theresa was unmatched, as there were zero hiccups and she was everything Carrie promised: fun, sweet, calm and professional, which every bride needs on her big day!
I chose CLH Images because her photo portfolio was unbelievably stunning with the vibrant, warm tones, which I wanted for my fall wedding and the colors I chose. I cried when I saw the photos for the first time because of how beautiful they looked. Every person who has seen the photos has been blown away and loves them so much. I also ordered thank you cards from Carrie which, once again, was such a smooth process, and they came out exquisite. What I am left with are beautiful and lifelong memories and I have Carrie to thank for that. -

Carrie was everything we could have asked for in a wedding photographer and more! From the start, she was organized, super responsive and professional. She was so easy to coordinate with and make planning for a photographer as low-stress as possible. On our wedding day, she was calm, cool and collected all day which rubbed off on everyone else! Carrie and Theresa were amazing to work with! We are OBSESSED with our wedding photos - they perfectly captured our day. We originally chose to work with CLH Images because all of the pictures we saw in their portfolio were edited in such a bright and happy way rather than the moody vibe that some photographers have. June 2023 Wedding
We could not be happier with our wedding photos! Carrie is so so wonderful and makes you feel comfortable behind the camera! We booked her about 1.5 years out from our date and any time I had a question in the meantime she was so quick to respond. We loved working with her and would hire her again if we had to do it all over. We opted to have our photos rushed and got them back within 2 weeks of our wedding, which was so quick and unexpected but we still have a smile every time we flip through our photos. One review won’t be able to convey how amazing Carrie is, but I will try my best. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to know of Carrie from a previous wedding we attended. At that wedding, I noticed how comfortable I felt in front of her camera (which doesn’t happen often), I knew immediately after getting engaged that I wanted her to photograph our wedding.
Carrie is such a pleasant and positive force to work with. I am not a photogenic person or comfortable in front of a camera - same goes for my husband. But we feel so at ease with Carrie. She brings out the best version of ourselves in a photograph. I honestly don’t know how she does it. She shot our engagement photos as well and they are some of my favorite photos of us. She also produces the digital albums at lightning speed. Like we got our engagement photos back so quickly I thought it was too good to be true. And then our wedding photos were ready less than 3 weeks after we got married (YMMV depending on the season of course but man she is QUICK).
Carrie’s a rockstar and she made us feel like rockstars too for our photos on our special day. We can’t wait to use her for more albums once we start to grow our family, and I would recommend her to anyone.
P.S. she even got incredible photos of our extremely anxious, anti-stranger rescue dog during our engagement photos. Amazing. Truly amazing. -

We can not thank Carrie and her team enough for the amazing work they did for us. From our engagement photos, to our wedding day, she was amazing, professional, and so sweet. We had Carries associate Danielle for both our engagement photos and wedding day, and she was just incredible to work with.
When we first talked with Carrie, she talked us through all of our options and pricing and was so patient and answered all the questions I had to make sure I was choosing the right package for what I wanted done. She knew what style we wanted and she made sure the finished product was edited EXACTLY how we loved it! Our engagement session was so fun, we were able to include our new puppy and we just had the best time! For two people who hate being behind the camera, we were shocked at how much we loved it that day! Danielle was so sweet and fun and made sure we were very comfortable. This made us so excited for our actual wedding day! When Carrie sent us our finished edits on engagement photos…we were blown away. We couldn’t believe it was us! They were absolutely stunning.
We had to make a lot of changes to our wedding day due to unforeseen family circumstances. We had to change our venue and date. To over a month sooner than expected. We were so stressed and worried we would lose our vendors, but when I told Carrie what was happening, she was so sweet and calm and she told me not to worry. They made it work and for that I will be forever grateful. Carrie jumped into action and worked with me over the phone to sure she had all of the details I wanted captured, and she talked me through a timeline according to how I wanted my day to go. She created it and made it so stress free for me. She was so knowledgeable, and reviewed the details we went over, then called me back and told me a few things that I may want but didn’t even think of! I was so grateful for that because my brain was just a mess trying to think of everything, but she helped me by thinking for me!
The day of our wedding Danielle was so fun to work with. She was right on time, and really was the one who kept our day on track. She had her timeline based on what I wanted, and she made it all come to life! Everything is very fast and chaotic on that day, so CLH making sure nothing was left out or forgotten was so helpful. We were kept on schedule and I didn’t have to think about anything because they had it all handled - that was AWESOME.
My father was very sick, but Carrie made sure to get our photos back to us just in time for him to see them before he passed. It was so special and we can’t thank her enough for the work she put in to make that happen. When we got our final edits back we just couldn’t believe how gorgeous they were. Every single detail was PERFECT. They got everything we wanted and more! The photos were exactly what I discussed I wanted them to look like with Carrie.
I just can’t give them a high enough rating or say enough how grateful we are. Thank you so much CLH🤍 you were worth every penny. -

Carrie is a genuine professional and truly an exceptional person! She was beyond a delight to work with - patient, organized, communicative, had answers to all our questions, and always a ray of sunshine! Choosing Carrie as our wedding photographer was the easiest decision we made throughout our planning process. As soon as we booked our date with the venue, we quickly emailed Carrie to see if she was available for our big day!
From beginning to end Carrie was very communicative, extremely personable, and willing to provide her very artistic eye. Attention to detail was very important to us and Carrie made sure to capture every single element of our wedding and then some! Both our engagement and wedding photos have a wide variety of personality due to Carrie’s appreciation and ability to find the natural beauty in every shot.
Carrie was very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She gave us direction when we needed it and captured our genuine moments together without us even noticing. After the wedding, my bridesmaids even complimented how great Carrie was with telling us how to pose all while making it look so effortless in our photos.

Carrie is AMAZING. She is the nicest, most accommodating, creative photographer. We booked Carrie after seeing the photos she did for our friends wedding and subsequent family pictures. As soon as I met her I knew she was the one. Her personality and energy are just the best. She was so accommodating with COVID reschedules for engagement photos and eventually our rescheduled wedding. No questions asked. She wanted our day to be as perfect as we did.
I cannot explain the pure joy I felt (and laughs!) as I looked at all of the amazing pictures she captured of our wedding day. She took every photo requested and then some - even magaged to wrangle all of the guys into great pics!

If you are on the hunt for the perfect wedding day photographer ... LOOK NO FURTHER! Carrie is 10000% the one you want on your team! My husband and I hired Carrie for both our engagement shoot & wedding day. On top of being a fabulous photographer, she is an AMAZING human!!! Despite the massive rain storm that could have ruined the day, Carrie jumped through hoops, captured BEAUTIFUL shots, and kept us smiling the entire day! She was even able to corral our (extremely rowdy) groomsmen for priceless shots throughout the course of the day!!

Amazing Experience All Around
Carrie is absolutely amazing. I come from a marketing and digital design background, so photography is extremely important to me. I browsed multiple vendors before deciding on CLH Images. She was just the perfect fit. Her style for photography is modern, simple, elegant and bright. In every picture she makes sure the bride and groom stand out, even with the most simplistic shots.
The whole process start to finish was great. Communication is present, which was my biggest struggle with wedding vendors. CLH Images COMMUNICATES with her clients which was definitely important with the stressful process of wedding planning.
At our wedding she made sure to get every detail photographed. From rings, to invitations, to shoes, to florals, to venue, everything. There was not one step missed. Carrie is the Best in the Business!
From the moment I saw Carrie’s online portfolio, I knew she was my dream wedding photographer. I absolutely love her style of photographs- they are bright, crisp, natural, and bring out the best in the subjects she captures. When we met Carrie for our engagement shoot two years ago, we knew she was something special! My husband and I are “tough customers” and we don’t particularly enjoy taking pictures. Carrie’s warm and bubbly personality made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. When we saw our engagement photos from Carrie, we were struck by how relaxed and natural we look. Her photos really brought out the best in us and captured a special time in our lives.
We had Carrie booked for our original 2020 wedding. When we decided to postpone our wedding to 2021, Carrie could not have been more accommodating, understanding, or patient with us. It speaks volumes of her character that she was willing to work with us as we secured our new wedding date.
On our wedding day, Carrie was a powerhouse behind the camera- her energy levels were truly unmatched! Carrie made sure we were sticking to the schedule of the day and made sure we got every photograph we had asked for during our pre-wedding conference. Our families and wedding party have complimented us on how professional, patient, and kind Carrie was throughout the day. Carrie has an innate ability to make everyone feel relaxed and at ease with her. Throughout our time with her, she showered us with compliments, made us laugh, and made us feel as though we were spending time with a good friend.
We recently received our wedding album from Carrie, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We love looking through our wedding album photos and we are having a hard time picking our favorites to frame! Carrie’s photographs beautifully tell the story of our wedding day, and they will be cherished in our family forever. I could not recommend Carrie more highly. -

I had seen a few friends post photos they had done with Carrie and loved them right away. I reached out to her to discuss an engagement shoot and we talked for an hour on the phone and I knew she would be the perfect person to shoot our engagement and wedding. She was so down to earth and easy to talk to and made me feel so comfortable right away. During our engagement shoot it was no different! My husband (who is not a fan of photos) and I had an absolute blast. We did photos in our home with our dogs first. We will cherish these photos forever especially after one of our dogs passed shortly after. We can’t thank Carrie enough for capturing those memories. We then did more shots in downtown Troy and she had a ton of ideas and spots ready to shoot! She uses light and angles so well and we were obsessed with every photo!
We then used her assistant for a small ceremony due to covid and had a great experience as well. After postponing twice we FINALLY just had our wedding July 10, 2021 and Carrie honestly kept everything together and running smoothly. I was a very anxious/nervous bride and she kept me sane and (somewhat) calm to get all the shots we wanted! She brings the best calming energy you could ask for on your wedding day and is so good at falling into the background and capturing every little moment. We couldn’t ask for a better day and Carrie was a huge part of why it was so perfect. We can’t wait to work with her for years to come! -

We first met Carrie back in 2018 when we worked a wedding together (my husband and I are wedding videographers). About two hours into the day, I looked at Matt and said if we ever get married one day, Carrie has to be our photographer. At that point, we had never seen a single photo of Carrie’s.
Carrie’s energy is contagious. She is kind, energetic, personable, flexible, and reassuring. She is the exact type of person you want to have around you on the most important day of your life.
Carrie’s photos speak for themselves - she has an immense amount of talent, creativity and professionalism. What you won’t see in her photos is the way she interacts effortlessly with your family and friends, the way she will run and get a chair for you when your feet hurt or the way she can make you feel like the most beautiful bride (or groom).

When we first met Carrie, we immediately knew that she would be the perfect person to work with for our big day. She was very calming, interested in our story/vibe, and super personable. Turns out we made the best choice ever!
My husband and I are not fans of being the center of attention, nor do we think that we are the most photogenic people. However, Carrie made us feel like we were on top of the world, and the photos show it.
On our wedding day Carrie was super flexible, even when our timeline was a little off (and some family members wanted to intervene and request photos). We cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is absolutely amazing! -

I first met Carrie when I was one of her students at the College of Saint Rose in 2011. She would crack jokes throughout class and I would laugh even though no one else thought she was funny (now she knows that I laugh when I am nervous and she wasn't all that funny :) ). She had mentioned that she was a photographer in addition to her teaching job so I had to look at her work. I was blown away by the beauty of the pictures shared on her website that I swore to myself that whenever I got married she would be the person I wanted to photograph the biggest day of my life.
Seven years later, I met the love of my life and got engaged. After the engagement, I shared with my now husband Devin that we had to get in contact with Carrie to do our engagement shoot and be a part of our wedding day. Carrie was one of the first vendors that we called and from the moment we got in contact with Carrie she was so kind and graceful and expressed pure excitement to work with us. We had our engagement shoot soon after our engagement and we were in awe of how beautiful the pictures turned out. At first, Devin and I were quite uncomfortable with having our picture taken but Carrie bubbly and inviting personality ensured that we were comfortable the entire time!
Our wedding day was a breeze because Carrie assisted us with remaining within the timeline we had set up. Prior to our wedding, she was available for all of our questions and was open to hearing about all that we wanted to do during our wedding day. She assured us that she would make sure that our day would be about us which was calming to my husband and I as wedding planning can be quite stressful.
We had planned to do our first look on the NYS Capital but the weather had other plans for us. Carrie did not panic and found the perfect location in the reception site to execute the perfect first look. (She should have panicked when she was stuck in the elevator before she got to us ;) ). Carrie perfectly captured all the special moments and surprised us with pictures that we didn't even know she was taking. She continued to be the calming force we needed and swooned us away for pictures with just my husband and I as we had quite a large bridal party. My husband and I in addition to our families are in awe of the pictures taken by Carrie as they are so beautiful. We loved every single shot from the candids of our bridal party, cocktail hour, family photos and the party that went down on the dance floor.
We are so grateful for choosing Carrie to photograph one of the most important days of our life and she was a true professional throughout the entire experience. We will continue to choose Carrie for our future needs when we expand our family. We highly recommend Carrie for personal photography needs! She is a rockstar!

I first met Carrie back in 2008 when she was my English professor at The College of Saint Rose. After a wonderful semester in her class, I was sad I wouldn't be seeing her anymore. Luckily, I began following her photography journey on Facebook and Instagram. When I got engaged in the winter of 2017, I knew immediately that Carrie had to be my photographer! We met at the local Starbucks and, for what seemed like hours, talked about where life had taken us since our Saint Rose days and everything that I envisioned for my wedding. Fast forward to June 2017, my fiancé and I met Carrie in Albany for our engagement session and let me tell you, I was blown away! She is absolutely incredible at what she does! She was so fun and made us feel so comfortable. And when we got our pictures back, OMG! I was speechless. The images she was able to capture were breathtaking! I knew the photos that she would take on our wedding day would be just as amazing! The week before our wedding, Carrie called us to run through all the details of how the day would play out. As an already stressed and anxious bride, this was just what I needed to feel more relaxed about the whole day. On August 18, 2018, the day I had waited so long for, I remember being so nervous, but the instant I saw Carrie walk into the room, a huge smile came across my face and I knew everything would be ok. She began, right away exploring our venue, and snapping pictures. I could not have felt more excited and happy with the decision to have Carrie photograph my wedding. And just as I had predicted, our photos were absolutely incredible! I am beyond grateful to have met Carrie and to have hundreds of photos to look back on and remember my amazing wedding. -

Where do we even begin?! From the moment I began communicating with Carrie, I knew it would be an amazing experience. Carrie photographed our engagement pictures in our home town, boudoir pictures at a quaint bed and breakfast and our wedding photos. Carrie is extremely validating and helps to ensure you feel relaxed and secure. She captures love and genuinity rather than a forced smile and it just comes so easy to her! She made both my husband and I feel so comfortable and every picture was just so full of love. We were beyond thrilled with Carrie! I had a very difficult time finding a wedding photographer. I emailed countless of companies when my now husband and I were first engaged and those who actually got back to me were either all booked up or were way out of our price range. When I first spoke with Carrie, I knew she would be perfect. Not only is she super sweet, reasonably priced and professional, but she also provided me with information and answers to questions I didn't even know I had! Her personality makes her super easy to work with. I had several ideas for our photos with a mix of indoor and outdoor shots. Carrie knew all the spots, angles and settings to make our ideas pop. She spent about two hours with us to run through the day in full detail and even though we had a strict schedule, she was able to sneak in some family shots that were not planned for. Carrie is absolutely phenomenal! You should honestly just reach out to her right now and find out if she has your wedding day available. Her work stands on its own, but when you book with her you're not only ensuring that you have beautiful photos that will last a lifetime; you're ensuring that you get to work with the most professional, talented and amazing photographer in the area.
First, Carrie was fabulous during our engagement session. The photos she captured are absolutely stunning and she made both me and my fiance (now husband) feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Did I mention that photos are beautiful?!
Before our wedding, we met to go over the details of the day. She made the whole process feel so effortless and easy, which is important when you have seven million other things to worry about. Sarah Sent on 09/01/2018Carrie is spectactular. Simple said. When we were planning our wedding in Albany, NY, we were across the country, so we had to communicate via email and phone exclusively. I could tell from our first interaction that Carrie was going to be exactly the photographer we were going to work with. I had spoken with a few different photographers, but wanted to be able to "vibe" with the person that was going to be capture our big day, and with Carrie it was instantaneous! Our first phone call lasted almost a full hour, getting to know each other. Carrie has such mindful questions, really trying to get to know us and our story.
Prior to the wedding day, she was so communicative with schedules, expectations, and planning. She made all of us - my husband, me, our bridal party, groomsmen, and families - feel so comfortable throughout the whole day. Our guests all complimented how wonderful she was, and she seriously made us feel unbelievably comfortable during the entire process of photos.
When we got the pictures, my parents (who are not emotional people) had tears in their eyes when looking through them. The photos perfectly encapsulated our whole day, in the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen. We had the perfect combination of formal and natural photos - with plenty of candid pictures that we requested.
Carrie is fantastic to work with, and her work is so beautiful. She truly cares about her clients and her craft, and it shows in her final product. -

Prior to our wedding she set-up a call to discuss our wants and needs when it came to photography. On the morning of the wedding she showed up and just started snapping away! I'm not one that really enjoys getting her photos taken but Carrie was fantastic. She was energetic and excited to be sharing in my special day. She wasn't overwhelming and really let me work at my own pace.
Throughout the night she was never too far from me. You never know what moments you are going to be in the middle of on your special night so when I ran into people I really wanted a photo with, I would turn and there she would be!
Then a day or two later she shared some sneak peek photos with me that I was able to share with my family. Such a great surprise as I was coming down off the "wedding high." I cannot wait to see what other fabulous moments that Carrie captured.
