Choosing Claudia as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional.
The engagement photoshoot was so much fun! She made us feel completely at ease, teaching us how to pose and capturing beautiful, natural moments. It was the perfect warm-up for the wedding day itself.
On the big day, Claudia and her husband were excellent. The photos were delivered so quickly, much faster than we anticipated. We were so happy with the number of photos we received... not a single precious moment was missed.
Communication was also fantastic throughout the entire process. Any questions we had were answered quickly via email, making everything stress-free and smooth.

I have worked with Claudia on three different occasions throughout the last few years, and she is simply the best. I know there are a lot of photographers out there, but Claudia is the most reliable, the most kind and enjoyable, and she really does her best to get to know her clients ahead of time in order to do the best photography job. She is also always available, and she really puts in her best effort in her career by being open to learning more (attending seminars, workshops, etc). My community has a lot of weddings, and while I haven’t worked with many other photographers, I’ve heard from many about their own photographers being unreliable or taking a long time to get the photos back to the client. I can say with all confidence, our wedding, engagement, and my parents’ anniversary photos turned out incredible, and I couldn’t be more pleased. -

Claudia's photography at our rehearsal dinner was nothing short of magical. She brilliantly captured the essence of the night—grandparents' elation, friends' laughter, and parents' smiles—all amidst rain!
We hadn't expected this but Claudia also made time for a stunning mini photoshoot for just me and my husband in front of our favorite Chicago restaurant. The resulting photos were not just clear and beautiful but looked straight out of a magazine.
Beyond her exceptional skill, Claudia's professional yet gentle approach was so appreciated! She accommodated our 90-year-old grandparents with grace, pulling a chair aside for them during family portraits. She also managed to capture every detail from the setting & decor, people, and even wine & food. Her crazy fast two-week turnaround time was just the cherry on top.
Claudia has an ability to turn moments into timeless art. She not only met our expectations but exceeded them, leaving us with a gallery of beautiful memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you, Claudia! -

I loved my weeding pictures !
Claudia was amazing ! Her work is beautiful and my wedding pictures were everything I envision and more. She made us feel so comfortable during the photoshoot and made sure to answer all my questions in the days previous to the photoshoot. I did a lot of research before deciding on my photographer and I’m so glad I went with Claudia because she made the experience so fun for us and the pictures were just perfect ! -

The photos I received will mean everything to me for the rest of my life. The vision I had was executed x100. I can’t pick even one favorite out of like 80 options! I feel beautiful , seen , and the love my fiancé and I have for one another was captured perfectly. The shoot went so fast I can’t believe how many great shots we have. The editing is gorgeous , warm , and romantic. Book her ASAP! -

Amazing photographer
Claudia is absolutely amazing. We had so much fun with our engagement shoot and Claudia didn’t seem to mind when I changed my mind about 5 times for the location haha. She is so sweet and always punctual with communication.
I cannot recommend this photographer enough! You will not regret your decision with Claudia Jo photography. -

Could not be happier with our choice!
My husband and I had our hearts set on Claudia and her husband Chris almost immediately upon seeing their gallery photos and we could not be happier with our decision. Not only are they both absolutely wonderful people but they did a phenomenal job with our wedding photos. Claudia was very helpful in getting my husband and I to relax and be comfortable in front of the camera, she gave a steady stream of instruction and was so pleasant and fun to be around which took away all of our nerves. Her husband Chris was similarly wonderful and helped keep the atmosphere light and fun. Claudia has such a good eye for beautiful shots and the way she composes photos is astonishing. We got our photos completed and edited within 2 weeks of the wedding date and they were all breathtaking. Claudia has such an eye for capturing emotion in photos had so many good ideas for unique shots that we will now cherish forever. Claudia and Chris were attentive to our needs for the day, had excellent communication leading up the wedding, and were so professional and kind throughout the evening. They are so unbelievably sweet and genuinely kind and fun people with amazing senses of humour. We would absolutely recommend working with Claudia and are so happy we trusted our instincts and chose her to photograph such a special day for us. Thank you both again for all your hard work the day of and leading up, and we had such a blast with you guys! -

Claudia is absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I eloped and in our one hour session she was able to capture so many beautiful moments. We were absolutely blown away by the photos. Claudia’s turn around time for getting the photos back is also super quick and they are flawless. Her editing style is so unique and she does a fantastic job at direction during the shoot. I highly recommend her and we will be using her for all our photos from now on!! We couldn’t be more pleased with how our photos turned out!! She’s wonderful -

Captured everything
Helped make my day perfect and made my photos reflect how perfect it felt. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She put in WAY more time than I anticipated at such a great cost and it was truly appreciated. She knew exactly what I was looking for and nailed it. ALSO, very helpful for brides who don’t know what they are doing!! LOL -

Kindhearted photographer determined to create a romantic and relaxed experience!
Despite being camera shy, Claudia was able to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for my husband and I. We were laughing and thoroughly enjoying ourselves with her and her husband, Chris, the entire session. Not being from Chicago, I asked for suggestions that included our courthouse ceremony, the city, and Lake Michigan. After bouncing around the city and reading our wedding vows in Lincoln Park, I was more than satisfied about her location choices. In addition to Claudia's charming personality, she was able to find a wonderful balance between direction and organic moments, capturing photos that conveyed her expert skills in lighting, framing, and creativity. Less than 24 hours later, we were scrolling through a sneak peek of our event through the lens of a skilled photographer. I could go on and on about my amazing experience with Claudia Jo Photography and will be recommending her for years to come. Thank you so much! -

Great photographers, great people to work with!
Claudia Jo Photography were a pleasure to work with! Despite the stress that me and my wife were going through from all the wedding planning and everything else, they made things easy for us as far as scheduling and locations for the shoot. They are very easy to not only work with, but as well as communicate with. Being a couple that is not used to making our own poses for photos, they gave us great suggestions and in the end turned out to be really great photos! They also were very understanding of some of the rules we had for our Chapel service. Overall there is nothing to complain about their company and hope for many more future couples to consider them! -

I found Claudia while browsing wedding photographers before my fiancé and I were engaged and was blown away by her quality of work. I connected with her, and then my fiancé chose to hire her to photograph his surprise proposal. The photos she delivered for us (the next day!) were so beautiful. She even set up her own phone on a tripod to film the proposal while simultaneously taking pictures, and we treasure having that footage so much as well. We naturally also hired her to do our engagement photos and wedding (which will be summer 2022). She was so patient and flexible with us as we had to reschedule our engagement photo session several times. We had never done professional photos as a couple before, and she was a pro at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and making it fun & filled with joy and laughter. We couldn't believe how beautiful our engagement photos turned out and had a difficult time narrowing them down for printing purposes! And besides her incredible talent, she's simply the kindest & most genuine person. We are so excited to meet her husband Chris as well and to have both of them photograph our wedding day — we already know we have the absolute best people for the job. -

Absolutely amazing!!
Claudia is absolutely AMAZING!! I found her shortly after I got engaged because finding a good photographer was one of the most important parts of wedding planning for me. She was super responsive and answered all my questions, even hopped on a phone call with me to walk me through her process. Her portfolio simply blew me away, it pretty much speaks for itself how talented she is. We scheduled our engagement session for early November and I had a very specific and extravagant idea in mind of how I wanted my engagement photos to be. Claudia took my vision and ran with it. I am not exaggerating when I say that they literally could not have turned out better!! Her direction made us feel at ease and we were able to fit in all that I wanted to do before the sun went completely down because she was able to work so efficiently and get the shots I wanted. I have been getting non stop compliments on our engagement pics and I am soo SOOO excited for our wedding in October. I can’t imagine anyone else capturing our most special day. If you are looking for a wedding photographer do yourself a favor and book her ASAP! -

Claudia and her husband Chris do an outstanding job. They really know how to structure the image and have you pose along with the background. For our engagement pictures, they were able to turn them over to us within 48 hours. On top of that, they are such friendly and fun people. We had a great time doing our engagement shoots with them. I would highly recommend booking them for your big day! -

We hired Claudia to do our engagement shoot and our upcoming wedding, best decision we've made! She made our engagement shoot so fun and helped us feel very comfortable in front of a camera. During our session we also made time to get some photos with our daughter, would highly recommend for family portraits as well! All of the photos came out beautifully and we received an overwhelming amount of compliments from family and friends. So excited to have her and Chris capture all the special moments on our wedding day! -

Claudia is the most amazing, fun loving, spunky, get on the floor and roll with you kind of photographer that I have ever met. She is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that you get THE shot. Every time my husband and I had a photoshoot with her, we walked away feeling like supermodels- seriously! Haha

We were thrilled with Claudia's photography for our engagement session! My fiance and I found her on IG and were attracted to her artistic photographs and style. We contacted her via email and she got back to us quickly about her pricing and availability. She was definitely more affordable relative to the other photographers we looked into to. We chose the destination for our engagement photoshoot and Claudia was prepared with good spots in the area and creative ideas. Claudia never rushed us or made us feel we had limited photographs. In addition, she was extremely flexible even when we exceeded our 2-hour window. After just 2 weeks, Claudia sent us our photographs digitally and not too long after, we received a beautiful box with printed pictures and a flashdrive. We would highly recommend Claudia especially if you're planning an engagement session! -
