Classic Cakes and Confections made my wedding cake and I was very happy with the result. Ella was so easy to work with and came to the tasting armed with every possible cake flavor and frosting option. She was so helpful in suggesting the best combinations, which made choosing our final options a bit easier. In terms of design, Ella was able to replicate one of my pinterest "inspiration" ideas but also suggested a beautiful topper idea. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful (and tasty) the cake was. It looked better than I imagined and was so delicious. I highly recommend Classic Cakes and Confections. -

Classic Cakes and Confections did an amazing job on our wedding cake! It was exactly what we wanted and was entirely way too pretty to eat. The process was smooth, Ella walked me through everything, making sure that we got the details just the right way. The cake definitely made our special day even more special. The BEST cake. I wish I could have it in endless amounts. Ella is amazing. Anything you want, she will make it and it will be beautiful, BUT not only that, it will be so delicious. People still rave about my cake at my wedding. -

Close to two years ago now, Ella from Classic Cakes and Confections made our wedding cake. Both my husband and I loved the cake! It's was delicious, and she does beautiful work! All of our guest who tried our wedding cake could not get enough of it. She's great to work with and we appreciated her professionalism towards her craft! We've now started a tradition to go back every anniversary to have our top tier recreated. I recommend her to everyone. She's LGBT friendly too, which was very appreciated! -

Don't bother going anywhere else ! Ella is michaelangelo of cakes. Not only gorgeous but incredibly delicious. ( I made sure I tasted the cake at my daughters wedding, if nothing else) She was great to work with as well. You will be thrilled !! -

Ella's cakes are DELICIOUS, even the gluten free ones she bakes! She's got a great assortment of cake and icing flavors to choose from and walks you through the best pairings. You can tell Ella really cares about what she does and she puts a lot of time, energy and love into each cake she makes. She didn't know I was gluten-free before the tasting (I didn't expect her to be able to cater to that, so didn't mention it) and she insisted on baking me a personal sized gluten free cake that night for me to pick up the following morning! She's super sweet and a wonderful baker :) -

Best cake ever!!! People ate more than one piece, it was soooo good. Nothing but compliments! Ella made the cake exactly how my daughter wanted it, a "naked" cake! In Arizona? It would dry out immediately. So, Ella made it day of wedding and delivered it during ceremony! It was moist and delicious and stunning! All in the name of the bride having everything she dreamed of. -

My husband and I got married on 10-8-2016. Our cake was created by Classic Cakes and Confections. It was INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments on our cake and asked who made it. Ella was amazing to work with and really thorough. We will definitely be back for more cake! -

Our wedding cake was stunningly, unique, and delicious! We chose two types for our three-tier cake - almond cake with cream cheese filling and lemon cake with raspberry filling. Everyone raved about the cake. Ella is terrific to work with. Her fresh ingredients and artistic talent set her cakes far and above the other bakeries we considered. We can't wait to eat the cake top that's in our freezer. I doubt that we'll be waiting for our one-year anniversary! -

Our cake was included as part of our wedding package, but Ella and her team did not disappoint. When we went for our cake tasting, we had the best time planning with Ella. She listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on her expertise. She was so honest, friendly, and personable, and her cake options were all so delicious and beautiful. Our wedding cake was more beautiful than I even imagined! We also rented a cake stand and bought a swarovski monogram from her and she was fair with her pricing and a great value. Everything came together beautifully. We could not have been more happy with our overall cake experience. Thanks to everyone at CCC! -

We had a 5 tier of deliciousness, an elegant and beautiful cake made by Ella, the creative genius behind Classic Cakes and Confections. It was a pleasure to work with Ella and to get to know her as well. She takes pride in all her creations and it shows! We must say, that fondant was unforgettable! Ella and Neil with Classic Cake and Confections are nothing short of fantastic. They are the exclusive vendor at the luxury property I formerly worked at and the current property that I work at for a reason. Seeing countlessly beautiful and delicious wedding cakes for years, I was probably more of a difficult bride to impress for my own wedding. Ella sat with me and my fiancé and helped design a stunning wedding cake for our special day. They also provided great ideas for cake stands and enhancements that I hadn't thought of. Each flavor of the wedding cake we served received great reviews as well!

Our entire experience with classic cakes and confections was awesome. My husband and I had specific requests for our wedding cake and they were able to give us exactly what we wanted. The detail put into our cake was unlike anything I have ever seen. The cake was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing as well. I highly recommend them.

Where do we even start with Classic Cakes? First, meeting and working with Ella was very fun. During our initial tasting, the decision of what to pick was hard because it was all delicious. It was seriously the best cake we had ever had. As we narrowed our choices to the top few, Ella gave her opinion on what combinations go well together. We were very happy with our selection on our wedding day and we were blown away with how beautiful the cake turned out! Fast forward to our 1 year anniversary... What would the celebration be without another cake from Classic Cakes? We had Ella replicate the top layer of our cake! Once again, it was delicious! Ella truly is a talented artist, and her cakes, a tasteful masterpiece! -

Ella from Classic Cakes & Confections is great. She was very helpful and accommodating during our entire process of selecting wedding cake flavors and design and the grooms cake flavor and design. Both cakes were absolutely stunning and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The wedding cake was included in the cost of our venue and the options I had to choose from to keep within that budget were completely reasonable. I LOVED my cake and didn't have to pay anything extra outside the allotted amount. The grooms cake was also perfect. And, almost even more importantly, they both tasted delicious. Moist, flavorful, and scrumptious! -

I could eat their cake for DAYS! Ella and her team are amazing. Not only are they extremely talented and creative, the service we received was outstanding. From our initial cake tasting right down to the emails that were always answered promptly, it was an overall perfect experience. Our wedding cake was beautiful and the price point was extremely reasonable for the high quality you receive. Ella did an amazing job creating my dream cake which was so important to both my Mom and I. Our guest are still talking about how great the cake was. I can't wait for our next event.... Ella is amazing and so are her cakes! She made our wedding cake and a custom groom cake for my husband. Both looked incredible and were delicious. The cake was moist and fresh! I would definitely recommend Classic Cakes and Confections! We can't wait for our one year anniversary when we plan to have a replica of the top tier of our cake made by Classic Cakes to celebrate.

Ella at Classic Cakes and Confections did an amazing job!! Ella was super accommodating and knowledgeable during the original tasting. I brought my whole family with me (5 people including me and my husband), and she didnt bat an eye. She allowed everyone to taste all of the amazing flavors. We went with the carmel cake with vanilla frosting & the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. It was a huge hit at the wedding. Thanks again, Ella! -

Ella is incredible! The cake is amazing and designs are stunning. My cake was blush colored with ivory drages which was a huge hit, it was classy and elegant. The blush was just perfect, not too pink but just enough to go with my theme. Ella is very professional and knows exactly what she is talking about. My experience with this amazing business was all around exceptional. I knew right away that they had been in the wedding industry long enough to know everything there is to know about cakes. Most important, they are the kind of vendors that want to get to know you as a person and a bride, not just a customer.
I had planned to get quotes from other vendors but after I met Ella for the 1st time, I knew that I wouldn't find another bakery that provided the following 3 things: A high quality product produced from start to finish by the very capable, artistic hands of Ella and her team. Phenomenal customer service, no matter what kind of budget/vision/request I had. The 3rd and most important for a bride, peace of mind. It was a "piece of cake" to trust her advice with the years of experience and knowledge she has in the wedding industry.
CC&C impressed me from the very beginning and they made my wedding cake as perfect as I imagined it. It was delicious, memorable and "me". I wouldn't recommend any other bakery in the phoenix area to future brides. -

We chose to have both our wedding cake and the groom's cake made by Classic Cakes. BEST DECISION EVER! Their design team did an excellent job incorporating the details from my dress into my cake and my husband's cake was a 3D Kyle Field (Texas A&M football stadium). I knew from the moment we booked his cake that it would upstage mine at the reception and it did, but it was well deserved because they did such an amazing job on it! People were buzzing all about it. Best thing is, not only are their cakes beautiful, but they're delicious! Our wedding cake had a bottom tier that was amaretto with chocolate filling (the best chocolate filling I've ever tasted) and four upper tiers that were lemon with raspberry filling. My husband's cake was red velvet. All of the flavors are right on and both cakes were very moist. My husband is a foodie who loves red velvet cake, but is often disappointed when because they tend to be dry. Not at Classic Cakes! He said it was the best red velvet he's ever tasted. Check it for yourself and schedule a cake consultation. -

Ella did an amazing job on our cake. We were able to schedule our tasting the same day that I called, and after seeing her work and reasonable prices, we booked her that day! She came up with several designs for us to think on, and even hid little Mickey Mouses in the design especially for me. On the day of the wedding, the cake was gorgeous and she had a surprise for us, she did the hand quilting instead of the stencil! Ella and her husband really care about their clients and want to make sure everything is perfect. Since we ordered our wedding cake, we have ordered a birthday cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for various occasions. Every time the cakes are beautiful and beyond delicious! I am still getting compliments and requests for more wedding cake a week later. Very moist and flavor, and not too sweet. My husband and I do not like too rich or sweet desserts and her buttercream is perfect! -

So this actually wasn't for a wedding cake - it was a specialized cake to celebrate an employee's 25-year anniversary with our company. However, I found these reviews helpful when looking for a vendor so hopefully this will help. Ella was great - we sat down and came up with a few designs which I took to my supervisors. They approved one and from there it was really easy - I just coordinated via phone and e-mail and the cake was delivered on time and made a huge hit. The cake was delicious - we got red velvet and cream cheese and it was moist and tasty. While I usually hate the taste of fondant, this one wasn't too bad (although still not my favorite part of the cake:), and it wasn't overpowering with the rest of the cake. I would definitely recommend Classic Cakes and Confections! -

I had first seen and tasted a Classic Cakes & Confections creation at a Bat-Mitzvah I attended last year in Scottsdale. The cake was artfully done and the taste amazing. So much so, that I had contacted them from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and asked if they would make my wedding cake. After a many designs, many phone calls, and dozens of emails with Ella and Neil- we finally locked in on our dream cake and flight arrangements were made. Both Ella and Neil arrived the Wednesday before the wedding and went to work creating our 7 tier, masterpiece. The cake was an exact replication of what we had designed, and by far the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. The over 1000 handmade sugar flowers were so real looking people couldn't believe they were edible. It truly was spectacular and the talk of the town for weeks! I highly recomend them to anyone who demands the best! -

Not only was it exactly what we wanted, but the flavors itself were to die for!! We had every other layer a different cake and they were great!!!! For our wedding, we had Classic Cakes make it for us and it was AMAZING! You go to their offices / bakery, you can see them preparing cakes, look at portfolio, get to have a consultation with Ella, and they don't disappoint. Tastings were great too - amaretto,strawberry, spice cake, etc, etc. They are very professional, know how to deliver - they are on time, and get done what they say they are going to get done. Really top notch all around. Very professional, yet fun, and not stuffy. They are worth it.

WOW! That is all I have to say about the cake Ella created for my New Year's Eve wedding. When I first tasted Ella's cakes, I was sold. I knew the cake would be absolutely delicious, so I just had to decide on the look of the cake. She ended up creating the most beautiful cake--perfect for the occasion and that reflected my vision. We contacted many vendors who never responded to us. Those that did lacked any follow through. They responded back to us promptly throughout the entire process. We knew immediately upon meeting Ella at the first tasting that we would be hiring her to create our cake.
At the onset, we were willing to sacrifice aesthetics for taste…with Ella we didn’t have to do that. Her samples at the tasting were mind blowing. My newlywedded husband was hands-on in the entire wedding planning process, specifically with the cake design. Ella was one of my favorite vendors to work with. Ella and her staff are pros at the wedding business and they made this part of wedding planning easy and really enjoyable.
They were one of the preferred vendors for our venue and after reviewing all of them on wedding wire we chose them. When my husband and I went in for our tasting, they let us try so many flavors and to top it all off we washed it all down with champagne (fancy :)). It was hard to pick a flavor because they were all fantastic! On the wedding day, our cake was exactly how I imagined it and yet it still took my breath away.

We had not even heard of the Classic Cakes until a friend told us 'you HAVE to try them' and we're sure glad we did! They were the first place we tasted and my finance was ready to sign up immediately. BUT I wanted to 'make sure' so I drug him to two more tastings ONLY to confirm what he already knew - - you just can't beat Classic Cakes! Not ONLY are they beautiful to look at, they taste amazing!
EVERYONE at the wedding loved both the wedding cake AND the groom's cake. Many of them told us afterwards that when they entered the reception site ALL they could smell was CHOCOLATE (the groom's cake). They didn't even want us to open the main buffet - - just to START with the cakes. I brought some of the wedding cake to my office after the wedding and folks talked about it for a week!
I would HIGHLY recommend the Classic Cakes to anyone.

Incredibe cake. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but Ella was extremely patient during our design interview. As she asked me questions and sketched, the cake emerged to be the focal point of the whole wedding. Ella knows exactly what a busy bride needs; she kept in touch with me throughout the planning process without being overbearing. There simply isn't enough words to express how thrilled we are with our choice of Classic Cakes and Confections for our recent wedding. From the beginning Ella was patient, helpful, flexible, and just a joy to work with. She truly wanted our cake to be the cake of my dream. I asked Ella to create a custom groom's cake as a surprise for our rehearsal dinner. Though she was unfamiliar in general with the tub of popcorn design I requested, meeting with her for a only a few minutes... she was able to gather exactly what I wanted it to look like, and even added in her own special touches with a couple of movie passes on the display board. The cake was met with great amazement and everyone loved the unique flavor. I especially appreciated that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet as I'm not the biggest cake fan - it was just perfect! Our server at the restaurant was so impressed that he asked who I'd commissioned and has said he'd be recommending her to clients asking about custom cakes. We were extremely pleased with the whole cake process. We met with Ella and had a tasting that was super delicious! We shared with Ella our style and interests, while we were talking to her, she sketched up a beautiful cake design..nothing like I have seen before! We knew immediately that we would choose this cake company. At our wedding, the cake looked exactly like the sketch and we received so many compliments all night on how beautiful and unique our cake was...and how tasty it was!
Our ONLY regret is that we should have ordered more cake, my husband and I only had 1 piece! The day after the wedding we were thinking we would find more, but it was all gone! Classic Cakes and Confections are so much more than cake -- she makes GORGEOUS art masterpieces that are also incredibly delicious! When I found her website and saw her exquisite designs, I wanted one. Then we met her and tasted several delectable samples. She was so friendly and flexible. Let me start off by saying that I knew I was going to be difficult to please when it came to finding a wedding cake baker. I love to bake, it is my favorite hobby, and I knew that I wanted a cake that not only looked beautiful, but tasted amazing as well. This task was made a little more difficult since I was an out of town bride. When I first met with Ella at Classic Cakes, I was running late and felt terrible. She was so sweet and accommodating, that I immediately felt at ease and pampered. When she brought out the plate of cakes and fillings, I knew I was going to enjoy our meeting. :) Upon tasting her cakes, I knew I had found my cake lady. Her cakes are amazing, and remember, I am a hard to please person when it comes to cakes. Ella was great about emailing me and working with me long distance. I met with her twice, and really enjoyed every time we had together.
On the day of my wedding, my husband and I walked into the reception hall and immediately started our first dance. The cake table was right by the dance floor, and it didn't take me long to notice my cake. It was even more beautiful than the pictures I brought her. I even told my new husband, in middle of our dance, "Look at the cake!!! It's perfect!!!"
Not only was the cake beautiful, after feeding each other the first bite, we couldn't wait for the servers to cut it and bring us a piece. It was so delicious! I still have guests telling me that the cake was amazing. -

The Best Cake Ever. The cake was so good that we ended up eating the top tier that we planned on saving for our anniversary in our hotel suite. The cake was beautifully designed and most importantly tasted delicious. Ella was very helpful during our two cake tastings (once with my mother and a second tasting with fianc�). Ella was very professional and patient throughout the entire process. At each tasting she prepared cakes of the various flavors, fillings and frostings. I�m already thinking of events in the future that I can use the services of Ella who is just as sweet as her cakes. -

Ella is an amazing wedding cake maker and person. She made a STUNNING wedding cake for me and my husband. Everyone at the wedding loved it. I had a number of people say that it was the best wedding cake EVER.
I went to a number of wedding cake shops before picking Classic Cakes. I thought Classic Cakes was by far the most professional. All the flavors and fillings I tried were excellent.
Not only was the cake yummy, it was truly BEAUTIFUL. Ella listened to my ideas and improved upon them. I wanted something unique and she understood what I was going for. She gave me the perfect wedding cake. I cannot recommend her more highly. -

Our wedding and groom's cake were designed by Ella. My cake was 7 tiers, very dramatic and unique. Each tier was a different shape, and there were different designs on each layer. My cake was taller than me and my husband's cake was so intricate. The cake was gorgeous and everyone was blown away by it. My husband's groom's cake was an exact replica of Love Field, not an easy task, but they got it right. When we went into the reception before the guests came in, we looked around at how amazing everything was and then we saw the cakes. My husband fell to the ground and started crying. No joke. He was so elated with his cake. You know men don't get as involved in wedding plans as women do. The cake was the one thing he actually cared about and the fact that he was so overjoyed by the results makes it all worthwhile. Classic Cakes also has a lot of fabulous flavors. We couldn't narrow it down, so we ended up with 6 amazing flavors of cake for our guests to eat. The cake was moist and rich. Ella's eye for detail shows on the outside and inside of her cakes. We've actually already used them for an event at work. My boss was at my wedding and she put me in charge of cake for this event because of the cake at my wedding. Classic Cakes certainly has lifetime customers in us. They always deliver spectacular results. -

The moment we walked in, we knew it was perfect. The couple that owns this business, is not only profesional but personable and understands what couples are going through while planning a wedding. We had a tasting of all the cakes and after we decided on one, she told me, before I left, "you will change it, don�t worry!"...it was true, we ended up changing the cake 3 times and each time she gave us the best customer service. They were understading, creative and completely accomadating. We were very pleased with eveything and the cake was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommended!

We were extremely pleased with the whole cake process. We met with Ella and had a tasting that was super delicious! We shared with Ella our style and interests, while we were talking to her, she sketched up a beautiful cake design..nothing like I have seen before! We knew immediately that we would choose this cake company. At our wedding, the cake looked exactly like the sketch and we received so many compliments all night on how beautiful and unique our cake was...and how tasty it was!
Our ONLY regret is that we should have ordered more cake, my husband and I only had 1 piece! The day after the wedding we were thinking we would find more, but it was all gone! We will have to order another mini cake for our 1st year anniversary. Thanks so much Ella for your hard work, you are definitely talented and I would whole-heartedly recommend you to any and everyone. -

In meeting with Ella, she was very prepared and came with lots of pictures of her cakes to get some ideas, and several cakes to taste, all which were very fresh and great, making it very hard to chose from. I showed Ella my wedding colors and a deion of what I wanted. Ella was able to creat a virtual mockup of what the cake would look like.
On the day of the wedding, the cake arrived just like the virtual one that she created. It was absolutely beautiful, and tasted great. I received many compliments from the guests.
Ella is very professional, friendly, helpful, and makes great cakes. I highly recommend Classic Cakes and Confections. -

I loved Ella! I told her what my theme for the wedding was and she explained to me different options she can do for me. She wasn't money driven, but express her creativeness openly. After speaking with her, I knew she would be able to do what I have envisioned. The day of the wedding... when I saw the cake, it was more than what I had expected. It was perfect.
I am a very picky person. I did not have anything bad to say =) I loved it! I would recommend her to anyone that will be marrying!

This bakery did an amazing job on my wedding cakes! Both were very intricate in detail and I was very impressed. I took a picture in for my cake and it was matched perfectly. The groom's cake was an exact replica of my husband's hiking boots on top of a chocolate cake. It was amazing and we got so many compliments on both. I love looking at my pictures and seeing the cakes! Very impressed, would definitely recommend!

Outstanding work! Ella is a pleasure to work with. Her cakes taste wonderful and they are truly breathtaking. She designed our cake from scratch ...it was perfect. The colors were spot on, and the artwork was flawless. And, as already said, the cake was delicious, too. In fact, it was so good we weren't able to save our top tier for our first anniversary...we ate it the night after our Sunday morning wedding! I'm already planning on having Amy make a scaled-down version for our 1st anniversary.

I swear to you I cannot say enough about this woman. She is soooo amazing. My husband and I met with her and before I even tasted her samples, I was convinced she was the one. We met with a bunch of other vendors that was not original. We met with Ella and we laughed and ate her DELICIOUS cake samples.
Unlike most brides, I had no idea what I wanted exactly, I just new I wanted something simple and beautiful and she delivered it times ten. Not only was the cake BEAUTIFUL, but it was the most tasteful thing I'd ever had. The feedback I got from the guests were the wedding was beautiful and that cake was DE LI CIOUS!!!
She is such an amazing person with a ridiculous gift for cake making. I love her and I give her a 100 out of ten.

Working with Ella was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! The tasting experience was lovely- and yes filling! The color options are endless, and they will create them in front of you as you dream them up and try to describe them. And the cake/filling flavor options are also seemingly unending...my now-husband had to try to reign me in as I wanted every layer to be a different flavor because everything tasted SO good.
The cake and presentation were spectacular, a real highlight of the whole room (and my pictures afterward :). The taste still has people talking about it- as so many wedding cakes lose it once you take a bite. I even had friends who took pictures of the two different layers because they tasted so amazing.
CHOOSE them!! truly wonderful experience :)

My name is Randy. I was reffered to CLASSIC CAKES & CONFECTIONS by a family friend in New York. She was right. My experience was almost perfect. I was told to let them do what they wanted and I would be very happy. "Happy" is an understatement. The only complaint I ever heard was that my bridesmaids felt upstaged by the brown and pink wedding cake done per Ella's recomendation. The chocolate bourbon cake was enjoyed by even my aunt who hates chocolate! The groom's cake in the shape of his newest Maserati was a BIG hit too! I'm not just another bimbo who does not appreciate event cakes, I have been married more than once. The cake from CLASSIC CAKES & CONFECTIONS made the reception. I am nothing but happy with the whole experience with the cake. It's picture will be on the cover of my wedding album. My bridesmaids can just be jealous!
