Where to begin....Words cannot even begin to describe how blown away we were with Classic Cake. Chef Bennett and his team were able to create exactly what we envision our wedding cake would look like and might I add that it tasted GREAT too! They are such a pleasure to work with and are very accommodating to your needs/desires/wishes. From our first consultation and tasting in the store to our wedding day, Classic Cake was beyond amazing. We would recommend them to anyone for all events not just weddings. This place is great! Kristina was incredible nice and had such great ideas for our cake! We had a Lego themed wedding and the cake they put together was amazing! We received so many compliments about how delicious and how awesome our cake was! Highly recommend using this place for a wedding cake and any other type of desserts you may be interested in!

Classic Cake made our amazing wedding favors! Our idea was chalkboard cookies because we are both teachers. They took our simple idea and made it amazing!!!!! We ended up with the most adorable chalkboard cookies with our names and wedding dates hand painted on them as well as a fondant ledge, apple, and piece of chalk on every cookie! We were in love with them and our guests were too! Plus they taste delicious!!!! It was wonderful to work with the great people at Classic Cake!!!

Classic Cake provided an absolutely delicious cake for our daughter's wedding. Our daughter gave them a picture of her "dream cake" and they reproduced it exactly. The cake itself, pound cake with chocolate ganache and buttercream icing, was the best wedding cake we have ever tasted. Can't wait for the one year anniversary when we can eat the frozen top layer!

Classic Cake was incredibly helpful with customizing my bridal shower cake, as well as the groom's cake, our 3-tiered wedding cake and sheet cakes for the reception! Both Sharon and Kristina were great to work with, and answered my questions in a timely manner. Every cake created was inspired by pictures from Pinterest, and the chefs at Classic Cake did a fantastic job bringing these photos to life without compromising the cake's flavor. Many family members and friends especially loved the pistachio-flavored cake with chocolate fudge filling, and all of our cake/filling combinations added personalization to our wedding events!

I met Kristina from Classic Cake at a bridal show and after tasting her samples, I knew we would be booking her for our wedding day. We decided to do an 8 inch tier and about 125 cupcakes. Everything was delivered to our venue on time and set up exactly how we wanted it. Our guests appreciated and loved the variety of flavors and even in August, our cakes werent dry and the icing did not melt. Everyone loved the cupcakes so much, we only had one left to take home with us at the end of the night!

Classic cakes was included in our wedding package and I was EXTREMELY pleased with out cake. Not only was it beautiful, but it was so delicious. We decided on a naked cake which is a newer style rustic cake because it went with our theme. I read some concerns people had written about naked cakes being difficult, but classic cakes did an amazing job! Every detail we went over at our tasting, was perfect the day of. Not to mention, the tasting, they are super accommodating. They made the experience personal and opened up the shop for us to have drinks as well (coffee/water). They did a great job adding fresh berries and powdered sugar too! The fudge icing was the best! I cannot wait to eat our frozen one year top.

I appreciate Sharon from Classic Cake's professionalism and recommendations. When trying to select the right taste for my wedding cake, I couldn't decide between two flavors so Sharon suggested I use each flavor for each tier. I purchased ribbon to decorate each tier of my cake and Classic Cake made the decorations look very professional, not to mention how good it taste.

Our cake was absolutely incredible. We had 2 flavors, and an additional groom's cake, as a surprise for my husband. They worked with me to have perfect flavors and a perfect design to match our décor and the tennis ball grooms cake to perfection. We could not have been happier, and they have basically ruined wedding cake for me (unless it is theirs). Incredible!

Classic Cake did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Roe was so easy to work with and so accommodating. My husband has a severe dairy allergy and they were so accommodating to make sure we had a delicious cake that he could also enjoy. The tasting was great and we really got to take our time picking our flavors.

We got out wedding cake with Classic Cake in Sewell/Williamstown and it was delicious. My family ordered cakes with them for my baby shower and also my bridal shower previously, so we knew the taste would be great. A family member was supposed to take care of our cake and last minute we found out that they didn't, so with a little less than two weeks before the wedding we went into Classic Cake, gave them a picture of a design we wanted our cake similar to and they said NO PROBLEM!

Our cake was delivered on time and it was beautiful, and of course tasted amazing. The price was pretty reasonable too.

I am glad that my wedding venue recommended Classic Cakes. I found a cake on their website that I wanted and on the day of the wedding it was just like the picture so there were no surprises. The only difficulty was picking the flavor of icing since they had so many great options. We went for the raspberry icing with chocolate cake for one layer and yellow cake with fudge icing for the second layer. We loved the bakery so much that we decided to get our wedding favors there too. We picked out cookies with our monogram on them and our guests enjoyed them.

I was impressed with how delicious the cake was the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, my father dropped the top tier on the ground after the wedding, but I will definitely go back on our 1 year anniversary to order a small cake!

The cake was included in our Omni package, and it was fantastic. We did a mini tasting when we had our tasting at the Omni, and then went over to the Cherry Hill location for another. Roe was a lot of fun and helped us with the flavors since they were all delicious and we had a hard time choosing. We went with two different flavors - lemon pound with raspberry buttercream and chocolate chip pound with chocolate buttercream. Chef Bennett knocked it out of the park. Everyone complimented it!

We loved our cake! It was delicious, and the design was all we had hoped for! However, since we had dark blue buttercreme icing, it turned people's teeth and tounges blue! We were not happy with this, but kinda thought it was pretty funny.

Classic Cake Company was the cake company that came with my package at the Crowne Plaza. When we went in to have our cake tasting, they really treated us great. We had so many different options to choose from and we had so much fun picking out our flavors! The best part was when my husband asked them if they could do something special for our cake and they made it happen no problem!!! Our Wedding cake from Classic Cake Co. was awesome!

The final cake exceeded our expectations in every way - it was beautiful and turned out exactly as we had requested. The cake itself tasted great and all of our Guests loved the cake (overall design & taste) as well!

Our cake was provided as part of our Wedding package as offered through Sea Oaks Country Club in NJ. We went up to Classic Cake Co. in Cherry Hill NJ and we did the cake taste testing (which was great). The Staff there was very accommodating and very helpful as well. They asked us how we wanted the cake designed (colors, accessory selections, etc) along with asking how many guests there would be, what they recommended as far as how many tiers to the cake and they just did everything we asked with regards to the final design.

They have the best selections of cake fillings, types of icing, types of scroll work (design) and many example pictures to look at from other previous Weddings and/or special events. They will design your cake from scratch and are very helpful.

We would definitely recommend Classic Cake Co. to anyone who's searching for a Wedding Cake.

We can't wait to eat that top layer!!

I have to start out with the fact that I dont really like cake. If someone has a birthday party I dont usually eat it because the icing is too sweet and the flavors are just boring. So when I went to the Classic Cake Co for our meeting I didnt really care what type of cake because I knew I probably would not be eating it. BUT. They have the most amazing flavors and the icing is amazing!!!! We choose a chocolate buttercream cake with piped vanilla flowers and it was beautiful. It was not traditional and that it what I loved about it. The rasberry cream filling was so good and the chocolate icing was also amazing! I cant even rave enough about the Classic Cake Co. Always professional when I called and the cake was beautiful. It exceeded my expectations! I will return there for sure.

The cake we received from Classic Cake was absolutely gorgeous! The choices they offer in cakes and frosting is such that you could have any cake you could possibly imagine. We opted for a simpler cake but with a custom design that matches the design on our wedding bands and they greatly surpassed my expectations. With just a print out of the design, they were able to draw the design perfectly. Not to mention how delicious the cake was itself! The cost of our cake was included in the cost of our venue, so we only ended up paying for the edible flowers, which were sculpted perfectly, but we would have gladly paid extra for the wonderful job that they did!!

Our cake was part of our wedding package but we wanted something more than your normal cake. They made a beautiful mad hatter cake for us with blue and tangerine fondant to match our wedding colors. Each of the four layers were different kinds of pound cake with different fillings. People raved about how wonderful the cake was. The best man ate four pieces trying to taste each layer! It was exactly what we wanted. Classic Cake also supplied us with the three pound challah (Jewish roll to say the blessing over). They were wonderful.

We got a Classic Cake because it was included with our reception venue. At first I was very skeptical because their cakes online were very "over the top to me" in their decoration, and I wanted something very simple. In talking to our coordinator at our venue she was able to confirm with them that they could create something that was in line with my vision.
I really loved that we could have two flavors, and the cake was TRULY delicious. We had leftover that we got to bring home and it was truly delicious and I ate it for a whole week!! We did the classic vanilla wedding cake and a chocolate with mocha icing both of which were mouth watering!

We hired Classic Cake Company to make our wedding cake and favors. The tasting process was perfect. Kristina walked us through the many options we had and we were able to taste everything. She was thoughtful, courteous, and very accommodating. We were able to look at many many photos of options and were able to customize our cake to be a perfect match for our wedding. We had a three-tier cake with three different flavors, which were all delicious and popular with our guests. EVERYONE told us that our cake and cookies were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We are looking forward to using them for all of our family events in the future!

Consistently delicious cakes. We love to go to Classic Cake for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special times. There is no other bakery around quite on Classic Cake's level, and the price is consistent with the quality you get. This company made a gorgeous delicious cake for us. It looked exactly like we wanted and tasted amazing. They were a little pricey especially considering that their cake was included in a package with the vendor. ($50 to put butterflies we already supplied onto our cake?) Maybe it's more difficult than I think. Anyway I'd recommend them because the cake was perfect.

Our cake was beautiful and was by far, the best tasting wedding cake we've ever had! We received many compliments from our guests about how yummy the cake was. The tasting was a lot of fun and very delicious! Great cakes! I found my new favorite bakery!

Our cake was delicious. Our guests all raved about it. The cake tasting was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Our cake turned out beautifully and they even put our monogram on the top tier which I thought was a great touch.

My cake was beautiful and delicious, I only wish I had more. Classic Cake is a long time favorite but I still tried at least 10 bakeries. I am so happy I picked them. They were helpful, professional and they even handled some last week changes. It was a great experience and all of my guests loved the cakes. Thank you.

Classic Cake was an interesting experience that ended up great. The place we had our wedding included a cake by Classic Cake in their wedding package, and charged extra if you wanted to use someone else. When we picked up our samples to pick our flavors, we really were not impressed at all. The samples came in cupcake size with containers of icing to put on top and try different combinations. I don't know if they were just a couple days old and stale, or maybe it was just more dried out in cupcake size, but honestly they just weren't very good. We felt like we were settling, but just went with it because we didn't feel like paying extra when this was included. That said, the cake at the wedding was AMAZING! We had people asking for seconds and claiming it was literally the best cake they had ever had. The cake was beautiful too! I just wanted to share this story because I think if it hadn't been included in our package, we probably would have been scared away by the tasting, but you shouldn't be! We ended up being thrilled with the cake and I would definitely recommend Classic Cake! I rated them a bit lower for flexibility just because I didn't think they had that many options in terms of flavor and filling, but we ended up being very happy with what we chose - chocolate chip with mocha cream filling... mmmm!

Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful! It was part of our package with The Mansion on Main Street and it was great. We only ran into a snag because the person we ordered the cake from told us all the things we wanted were included with our package, then we get a call two weeks before the wedding to say they are not included and we have to pay several hundred dollars more. When I spoke to them they explained the person I ordered from no longer worked there and some of the features we selected would cost more. We came to an agreement and I was happy with the cake we received, but it was frustrating to have to deal with this weeks before my wedding.

Classic Cake provided excellent cake. Not only did they give me exactly what I wanted, my cake was also kosher and nobody was able to taste the difference. The cake was moist, tasty, and looked beautiful!

The cake was lovely. Well the one I ordered myself. The one that came with my package at the location was ok. I thought the design would be cleaner than it was. Other than that I was very happy with both my cakes. More with the one that I paid separate of my Venue to have made. Both tasted amazing.

Classic Cake was willing to make the cake that we had always dreamed of.They where very flexible with the design and they gave us a low price.I would definitely recommend working with Classic Cake Company just make sure to keep in touch with them to make sure everything turns out well.

Our wedding cake was beyond delicious! In fact you can see it on my face in pictures at the cake cutting!
They were very flexible as I provided them with a picture which they were able to duplicate pretty close.
We could choose four different flavors - for each layer as well as four different fillings to coordinate. This allowed for alot of variety and for my fiance and I each to get what we wanted!!!

I think Classic Cake is expensive. That said, our guests were very happy with the cake and we thought it was delicious. The size recommended seemed appropriate and the tasting helped us to decide what combinations of cake and icing we wanted. The cake was delivered early and looked very near what we ordered. I don't know if a similar quality is available at a similar cost. We were happy with the cake and serivce overall.

The cake was delicious but they didn't put as many flowers on the cake as promised. From certain angles it looked like an all white cake. I was also promised a picture of the cake would be emailed to me but I never received.

Classic Cake was the company that provided the cake that was a part of our package at the Courtyard Marriott Philadelphia. We had a good experience with them from the beginning; Roe was very nice and let us try the flavors again to help us figure out what it was we really wanted. I had a simple design in mind and had ordered edible butterflies from a website to be used on the cake. I did find that the extra nearly $40 they charged me to simply "place" the already-purchased butterflies on the cake seemed a little excessive, but was ok with it anyway. Come to find out that since our wedding was on a Sunday (when they are closed), they were not even the ones who were going to put the butterflies on! Our hotel event planner, with a background in cake design, came through for us the day of. (Even though we'd paid CC to do it.) However, I would still probably recommend Classic Cake to someone -- the cake tasted good and aside from the butterfly note, it was designed well too. I just wish I would have had more time to eat more cake! :)

My fiancee and I had two bakery options to choose a wedding cake which was included with our selected venue. Classic Cake checked out on yelp reviews and I had heard of them before, so it was an easy decision and we were excited to work with them. I had mixed reviews about the cake tasting. The cake itself was amazing! There is nothing wrong with red velvet and cream cheese icing! And the lemon cake is to die for. A+ as far as the product goes. However, the service wasn't as good as it could have been in my opinion. There was no photo album or portfolio of the various cake options. There were grandiose fake cakes displayed around the shop, but there was no other details of the selections of cakes they had to offer. Our venue has a standing relationship with the bakery, so I assumed there would be a list of options. Instead, I had to refer to my venue information regarding the cake options, as far as what "style" of cake was included in our package. Luckily I had the paperwork with me from the venue to refer to. Once we had the list of options, the cake selection was easy because I had my smartphone to pull up the images of cakes included in our package. Otherwise the lady helping us just asked "what did you have in mind". What happened to using an ipad or a good old photo portfolio to sell?! I don't know wedding cakes. Beading, icing, layers,.. I am not a cake baker. Of course, like most people on a wedding budget, we were set on getting a cake that was included in our venue package. We were able to choose different cakes for each layer, as well as icings. I think we "upgraded" one of the icings, for a total charge of $10 extra. Cake A+, service C, lack luster.

Classic Cake provided our wedding cake and it did taste wonderful. I provided a picture and gave some more specific modifications and it came out looking very similar to what I had asked for but with one pretty big difference in the icing. I had requested it be done in all white fondant as there was some patterns in white to go on the different layers and I wanted that design to stand out cleanly on the fondant. I specifically told the person at the store that I met with that I didn't like the look of the smoothed buttercream icing. Unfortunately despite the specifications I saw pretty quickly at the reception that the cake was done in smoothed buttercream icing. I'm sure most people didn't even notice but I felt that given the price and the special occassion that the cake looked a little messy and more homemade with the different type of icing.

I had a good experience with Classic Cake. They provided a free tasting and listened to what I wanted for the cake and the manager took notes. On the actual day of the wedding, I arrived and the cake was not exactly as ordered. I ordered a two tier round cake, and the top tier was octagonal... Not a big deal, but still not exactly as ordered. The cake itself tasted great though, and it was well decorated. I would recommend them, but make sure to clarify what you want and maybe follow up a day or two before hand.

Let me start by saying Classic Cake Company is a high quality bakery with delicious cake and we've used them prior to the wedding with always highest regard. The lower rating is due to a mistake on our wedding cake. I paid extra for black fondant 'ribbons' for each layer on our white cake. The black was ordered to match our black & rhinestone topper and our overall color theme. I was quite surprised to find SILVER fondant ribbons when we arrived at the reception. It still irks me when I see our cake in our wedding pictures and videos. I chalk it up to "somethings gotta go wrong at a wedding" and that was our "wrong".

My wedding took place on October 22, 2011 at The Mansion in Voorhees, NJ. The Mansion offered to pay for the cake up to a certain amount and I had to pay for any upgrades, which was fine with me. I spent $600 in upgrades so that I could serve to my guests a delicious red velvet cake!

WELL, delicious was certainly not the word I'd ever use to describe the cake I ACTUALLY got on my wedding day. I sampled Classic Cake's red velvet cupcake on the day of my cake tasting and it was absolutely delicious! I loved it so much, I decided it was worth the extra expense to serve it to my guests. However, on the day of my wedding, upon first taste, I realized the cake was nothing like the cake I had sampled at my tasting. I tasted it a few more times to make sure it just didn't taste funny for some other reason and I still felt it was gross and not red velvet cake. It was indeed red, but it appeared that whoever baked this cake forgot the "velvet." lol It tasted like plain, flavorless cake with some form of cream cheese frosting. I was so embarrassed!! My family is a bunch of red velvet cake lovers and when I told them how disappointed I was with the flavor of the cake after the reception, they all agreed and told me they didn't want to tell me how bad the cake tasted because they didn't want me to be upset. I had noticed that there was a ton of cake left over..... So embarrassing. And disappointing considering I paid sooooo much to have that special flavor.

My biggest disappointment of my entire wedding was this cake. I had indeed done a cake tasting and also interviewed several other bakeries. I chose Classic Cake because I was impressed with their cake flavor, design skills, and excellent customer service. I trusted that they would deliver on their end, as they seemed to have a great reputation and I worked directly with the manager on my whole order. She was such an awesome person and she went above and beyond to assist me with my custom design.

For service, I have to give 5 stars. My experience was an amazing one up until I tasted my cake. Staff was friendly, responsive, and extremely accommodating and I felt that my cake tasting experience was indeed an experience. It wasn't just placing an order. It truly was a nice event and the manager was such a sweet, friendly, and helpful person.

For design, I also have to give 5 stars. My cake LOOKED beautiful! It was exactly the custom design I had asked for, and they made it happen. I was extremely pleased.

For quality and value, I had to give next-to-nothing in stars. The quality of the taste of the cake was truly horrendous and I will not be eating my top layer, though I have saved it anyway out of sentiment. I just feel that as far as value goes, that cake was not worth $600 in upgrades since the flavor was not at all what I had tasted at my cake tasting. Had I known the flavor would have been so different, I would not have wasted so much money on a cake. I would have added that $600 to something else for my wedding that could have been more valuable to the overall experience.

Overall, I can't recommend Classic Cake to brides based on this experience because I can't honestly say that what you order will be what you get on your wedding day, and you can't taste it in advance or return it if you end up getting a cake that tasted like mine.

So disappointed....

Classic Cake provided a wedding cake and grooms cake for my daughter's wedding. I have a couple of comments. The wedding cake did not look like the cake in the sample book. It tasted good, but the seashell decorations were significantly smaller than those pictured. For $650 it should have looked more like the cake that was approved. I ordered a grooms cake for $350 and provided pictures of what we wanted it to look like, the bride and groom sitting on a cake with an octopus looming overhead (to fit in with the aquarium theme of the wedding). The figures of the bride and groom were $75 each, and looked great, although the bride was supposed to be holding a bouquet, which was missing. The octopus, which was supposed to be very detailed, was just rolled frosting with holes poked into the rolls to simulate tentacles> Not at all like the pictures we provided to them. Also, I feel like they oversold the amount of cake we needed, telling us we should order an extra sheet cake for the number of guests (230). We had so much cake left over that we had to throw alot of it away. I was not impressed with Classic Cake. They paid lip service to us in the meetings leading up to the wedding, but in the end we paid for something that was not what we ordered. I cannot recommend them and feel we would have done better elsewhere.

Our wedding cake was delicious, and that's really all that mattered in the end. I just need to note, however, that we chose a seashell wedding cake from their own book of samples and what we saw on our wedding day did not look AT ALL like the picture that had been approved. The seashells were about half the size that they were shown in the pictures... and the wedding cake itself was not anything impressive. We had a groom's cake that made up for it (an octopus with a bride and groom), but even that was a disappointment from what was discussed in prior meetings. For the amount of money we spent, I expected more altogether. Classic Cake was a disappointment.

I got married at a vendor that used classic cake as their supplier. The cake was a chocolate chip cake that tasted amazing but.......it did not look like what I ordered. I wanted a four layer cake that was square round square round and I got a cake that was square all the way up....it was supposed to be smooth icing and it looked like a highschool kid did it was a wooden spoon. Like i said, it tasted good but just not so easy on the eyes.

Our experience with Classic Cake Co was horrible! We had given them an exact picture of the cake we wanted that was taken from their own website! And even then they designed a completely different cake. We asked for the black & white tierd cake design w/ added white orchids. The cake on our wedding day was an entirely white cake w/ baby blue swirls all over the cake. The orchids had pink inside of them and were surrounded by mint green leaves! It looked like a cake for a baby shower, not a wedding! The cake completely messed up the whole look of the wedding. Definitly looked out of place with the rest of the decor!!

I ordered a wedding cake. It cost over $1000 for only 100 people. I was willing to pay based on the reputation and taste of the cakes. I had over 5 meetings with classic cake and they kept assuring me everything would be fine. The cake turned out AWFUL. The design was crooked, the colors were completely wrong, and it wasn't close to what I asked for. Moreover, when I called to complain, I have been given nothing but the runaround. This was not fair to me. I paid for something I never got. My friend just had her wedding there and had the same experience. Sadly, I couldn't tell her in time.

Worst customer service ever, sent the wrong cake to the wedding

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was the maid of honor in my best friends wedding and they did the COMPLETE WRONG CAKE. I called the day of the wedding to tell them that the bride was devastated and we needed to handle the situation and they said they would call Monday. It is now TWO WEEKS after the wedding and they dodge the calls and will not work with us. They informed the bride that "they had to see where the issue was and where it went wrong before they can move forward". THEY WERE THE ONES WHO MESSED UP NOT HER. This is by far the worst customer service. If you are getting married, I strongly suggest that you STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

BEWARE this Unprofessional Bakery in Cherry Hill!
Sharon is the most unprofessional person running this place into the ground! She reveived my emails & spoke to me numerous times over the phone regarding my twin daughters birthday cake and assured me it would be ready for pick up today & I just spoke to her before picking up cake for my daughters party & Sharon totally played dumb as to Never speaking to me! how could they be soo unprofessional?! it is sickening! I have emails & phone records! and she blew off my cake order! Do Not thust this place, I have heard of this happening numerous times from this unreliable bakery, Run dont walk from it!!

Classic Cake was the only vendor for my wedding that I WOULD NOT recommend to a friend. My reception included a cake in their package but I was told, when I arrived at Classic Cake, that it wasn't free and was going to cost $200+ over and above what my reception place was paying if I wanted a cake large enough to feed all my guests (otherwise they'd have sheet cakes in the back for the remaining guests). After speaking with a manager they agreed that a full size cake WAS included.

The cake looked so terrible on my wedding day and when we stood behind the cake to cut it there were sections of the cake that didn't have icing on it at all. Good thing a cake isn't something I'd let ruin my wedding day but I certainly wouldn't recommend this vendor to anyone else.

We do not recommend Classic Cake for anyone's wedding. They delivered the cake on time with right decoration on it. But one thing we didn't know until cake cutting: The inside was totally not what we have ordered, it was something completely different to what we had at the tasting. They even charge for double layers but there was no double layers. The cake they delivered was totally not worth the price they have asked. And we were very disappointed and embarassed to our guests because we have told them we were going to serve them one thing and then only have some regular cake that could have been from regular supermarket such as Walmart or Giant... And when we call in to complaint they were not responsive to us, they keep promise to get back to us but they never did. We had to call in again to follwo up and to ask for refund and they would not give the refund that we requested. The staff at the store admit that the cake was not what we had at the tasting but they said they can't refund because they are not the manager. Meanwhile, the owner did not admit that they made a mistake...
