Feels like home, but so much better!

First and foremost, the farm's managers, Skip and Holly, make you feel like they are helping plan their family's wedding, rather than your's. They care that much.
Secondly, the barn, accommodations, orchard, gardens etc are so beautifully rustic, and warm. And, in very good condition.
Finally, this venue becomes your home away from home for 48hrs. It is a place that you can settle into, and know that your guests will embrace its charm and gorgeousness just as much as you do.

Skip and Holly were really amazing! They are so genuine and really cared about our event and its success. The farm is very beautiful and the owner Tim really tries to keep the orchard, gardens, and barn unique spaces where couples can share their special events with family and friends. Staying on the property was really lovely and we really recommend the venue to couples looking for a space that they can really enjoy for a day or even longer- we did lawn games and had friends stay in the carriage house on the property to really enjoy what the venue had to offer. The surroundings were really ideal. I cannot say enough about Skip and Holly. They are a joy to work with and I am very lucky to know them and have had them as a part of helping my day be the personalized and special event we wanted it to be. Though we expected 60 mph winds and lots of stormy weather. Skip took precautions behind the scenes to really make sure we were unaware of the possible bad weather issues.

Oh my goodness, where to begin? My husband and I have always talked about getting married at Clark's Cove, and we were so thrilled to find out that they were available for our October wedding. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and offer so many options for ceremony/photograph locations. We also appreciated the ability to stay on-site, and we put up most of our bridal party on-site, as well. What a treat not to have to worry about transportation to or from any of our wedding events!

Holly was my go-to during the planning process. She was always responsive via phone and e-mail, and was so helpful with answers and suggestions. We visited the orchard 2-3 times in the year before the wedding and she was always flexible in accommodating our schedule for those visits and showing us around.

Skip was our go-to the weekend of the wedding. He facilitated all of the setup, last-minute added an arbor for our ceremony, and answered approximately 1,000 questions. Day-of, we ran into a snag with our reception timeline and Skip made some suggestions that ultimately made more sense than what we had originally planned. He was somehow everywhere: moving chairs from the ceremony to the reception, making sure the caterer had everything she needed, coordinating with the DJ, bringing our gifts & cards upstairs to our room so they wouldn't get lost in the shuffle, setting off fireworks, and probably a million other things we didn't even see that made the day run smoother. We agreed on our way home that Skip was the MVP of the entire weekend.

We could not have been happier with our experience at Clark's Cove. Holly and Skip went out of their way to make sure the entire weekend was beautiful and stress-free, and we can't thank them enough!

I fell in love with Clark's Cove. It is absolutely beautiful. My guests loved it. The beauty of the farm makes decor very easy. The owners were so kind while working with us -- they are away in the winter so less available, but well worth the wait!

This is one of the most beautiful properties in the Pemaquid Peninsula in Mid-Coast Maine. Though the cost of renting the property might feel staggering at first, there are a lot of reasons why having a wedding here actually retains value.

First of all - two one bedroom apartments with additional space to pull out a couch or lay down an air mattress are all yours for the weekend. There is also a carriage house with three bedrooms that you can rent should you have additional family members you want to stay on site. However, all that being said - only a few people (in comparison to the size of your wedding) would be on site. Therefore you would have some privacy as opposed to staying in a hotel with many many guests. All of the lodging is beautifully furnished and the construction feels solid and well-made.

Secondly, the property is essentially yours for the entire weekend. You can bring stuff in and take stuff out at your leisure. Never mind that your wedding will be the only wedding for the entire weekend. And, if you want to host a rehearsal or brunch on site you can for a fairly reasonable fee.

Third, the property has tons of options. You can host a ceremony in the front gardens, in front of the lake, in the orchard between rows of apple trees, on a terrace that overlooks it all... You can also have choices for where you would hold the reception. In the barn, on the upper field, in the lower field. The number of guests would probably dictate what you choose but the property boasts places for a wedding of under 100, to 200, to over 200 guests. The power/electricity, kitchens, etc for all locations works perfectly.

The reason this property is so beautiful is because the owner takes the task of maintaining it very seriously. His home is on the property. It is a beautiful, old, white colonial home that adds to the scenery of the site. He can be somewhat difficult to reach because he is involved in many ventures and spends some of his time in Florida. However, if you choose any of his recommended venders they know the property inside and out and his trust in them is endless. They can serve as your contact and Q&A person.

This venue is absolutely stunning! The orchard, pond, gardens, deck and barn were all included in our agreement which meant that our guests were free to enjoy a walk in the orchard, enjoy the gardens or take pleasure of the view from the deck. The owners are easy to work with however I did have problems with lack of responsiveness. I would suggest making a list of all possible questions (from decorating do’s and don’ts to amenities) prior to visiting the venue, make an appointment with Tim so he can block out the time and get everything answered immediately (follow up and make sure your appointment is still on the books prior to heading out there) . Responsiveness is so important in planning a large event like a wedding that it really left me feeling frustrated on more than one occasion. We had a stunningly beautiful fall day and I am so glad that we found Clark’s Cove Farm to exchange our vows and share the special moment with friends and family.

Clark's Cove Farm & Inn is an impeccably beautiful venue. I could not have hoped for a more breathtaking place to have my wedding. While the owner is extremely strict about alcohol and other aspects of the wedding day, I believe he is transitioning his management of the wedding portion of the farm over to a gentleman named Skip. Skip could not be more attentive, caring or helpful when it comes to having a wedding there. If you are willing to put some work into planning your wedding at Clark's Cove, it will pay off.
