Supportive Team, Great Communication, Amazing Food!

The team at CK Catering is awesome. Communication was so clear throughout the whole process, both via email and phonecalls/video calls as needed. I always understood exactly what was needed from me and what our timeline was. Our final few planning calls as we nailed down the floor plan and menu were honestly so fun, we loved talking to Melissa and Alyssa and found them both so helpful and energetic.

There's so many menu options and everything was incredibly delicious, I definitely recommend going to the group tasting event. They also make your options and how the different menu types/payment tiers work extremely easy to understand in the brochure they give you there. They are also very on top of things when it comes to food allergies, and the staff is very knowledgeable about ingredients in things like sauces or salad dressings, where allergens can sometimes sneak in. We had a few food allergies and vegetarian/vegan restrictions on our guest list and they were able to accommodate everyone easily, so we didn't have to worry about that at all.

When I wasn't clear on how to use the payment portal, I was able to call them and receive help with zero issues, making the process very smooth. I found everyone we communicated with super helpful, kind, supportive, and fun to work with.

Set up seemed perfect on the day of the wedding - we weren't at the venue yet and everything seemed to go according to plan and we noticed zero problems, which was so appreciated on a busy day with a million things to think about! We didn't have to think about the catering at all, which is a huge compliment. And of course everyone loved their food! This was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend them to everyone.

Wonderful People! Awesome Service and food.

We hired Country Kitchen Catering LLC for our son’s wedding at Tiscornia Beach in Benton Harbor on July 26, 2025, using the Lions Pavilion—and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, their communication was prompt and professional. The timing of the food service was spot on, the quote was more than fair, and most importantly, the food was wonderful. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Guests are still raving about it! I highly recommend them for any special event—reliable, affordable, and delicious!

Great Food, Great Staff

We had a great experience with CK! We did both a group and an individual tasting and found so many delicious things, it was hard to choose! We ended up doing the casual menu with the buffet. The disposable plates were still gorgeous and didn't diminish the atmosphere at all. All of the food was delicious and the staff were kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend!

The BEST Wedding Food!

We chose CK Catering for our wedding and could not recommend them enough!! One of our main goals for our reception was to make sure our guests got to eat before too long, and got some good food as well! The CK Catering team (shout out to Alyssa and Melissa) was excellent in communication, and helped us craft a menu that was simple but also catered to various dietary restrictions. We went with a buffet-style meal, and it worked tremendously. We’ve had multiple people pull us aside to tell us it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We’re so happy CK Catering was able to satisfy all our guests and make our night so special!

Amazing!

CK Catering was perfect for our wedding! EVERYONE raved about the food at our wedding. The food and the team are great. Annabelle was so helpful and responsive and made sure everything went well for the wedding. She really helped to minimize the amount of stress for the big day.
We also enjoyed that CK had private and group tastings. Yes, we did both, and we recommend doing both! Bob was great during the private tasting and answered all our questions.
We are so thankful for CK Catering, the service they provided for our wedding, and the quality of their food (saying so as a bride who chose an OUTDOOR venue!).

Amazing Food & Staff!

CK Catering had great service from the get-go! Everything went so smooth with them - from planning to executing the catering at our wedding, we felt we could trust them with every aspect related to food on our special day. We had a shorter engagement period, so we were just really happy that CK was able to fit us into their already busy schedule. We decided to go with them for catering because the food we tried at the tasting was delicious, but the food on the day of our wedding was even more superb! All our guests complimented the food! Wendy was so helpful in guiding us through the process of planning everything and on our actual wedding day, CK's staff was so efficient that we didn't notice they were there until the food was already out. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Wonderful!

I cannot recommend CK Catering enough! We worked with Gale as our coordinator, who was absolutely amazing. She helped walk me through every step of the details and decisions and offered genuinely helpful recommendations to keep things more in budget. The day of service was also amazing and the food was delicious! We received great compliments. My favorites were the harvest salad with apple cider vinaigrette, the pork loin with red wine reduction sauce, and the horseradish and parmesan smashed potatoes. We also had a dessert bar of cider and donuts, which were the best -- the donuts come from a local orchard I grew up going to, so they were very special and delicious! And instead of passed appetizers, we did a charcuterie board, which was a huge hit. The staff day of were great at getting the salads and bread to tables for family style serving, then dismissing tables in an orderly fashion for buffet service. They also cut and plated our cake for us, which was great. You can't go wrong by choosing CK!

(Bride and Groom) Excellent Review

Everything from the planning, to the day of service, to the quality of food was above and beyond what we could have imagined. It has been 2x weeks since the wedding, and we are still receiving compliments from guests about how much they enjoyed the food and how professional and efficient the service was.

All in all, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect day, and while we are so impressed with the day-of execution, none of that would have been possible without the incredible planning, communication and organization from the CK team behind the scenes from the very beginning stages leading up to the big day.

Top Notch Service

All we can say is WOW! CK Catering knows what they are doing! The service was wonderful! Bob and Wendy are experts and helped us figure everything out after we had an issue with our original food months before we got married. They helped us feel at ease knowing that everything would be handled and have a wonderful catering them! The food was expectational! We did a tasting, but ultimately went with a taco bar and it was a huge hit at our wedding in Jan. 2023! They even went above and beyond for our guest with food allergies/preferences! Highly recommend working with CK Catering for your events!!

Amazing food!

CK did an amazing job with our wedding! The food was really good and our guests really enjoyed it. The group tastings offered by CK are also great and helped us decide on our menu. We also hired Melissa from CK as our wedding coordinator and she was the best! We spent many hours on calls to make sure all the details were ready to go and she made my vision come to life and look even better than I could’ve dreamed!

Amazing Wedding Meal!!

We used CK Catering for our wedding in October 2022. As mentioned in all the other reviews, they were amazing. They were incredibly organized from the beginning of the booking process. We did one of the large group tastings which we loved because it demonstrated their ability to make food at a large scale. We thought the food at the tasting was delicious and found it very hard to narrow down the food we wanted to include at our wedding, because everything was so good! After we got our coordinator, we had a few calls as the timeline got closer to the wedding day to review our information and confirm timeline for the meal. Our one compliant is we did have some issues with our coordinator attending the calls and being responsive to our questions leading up to the day. The day of, they were fantastic to work with and we got through our dinner service as quickly as they had expected which was amazing given the size of our wedding (200 people). I would absolutely recommend CK Catering if you are getting married in the area!

Wonderful catering

We hired CK Catering for buffet style dinner fo our big day. From appetizers over buffet and late night snack, the food was absolutely delicious and the whole staff extremely friendly and professional. The preparation before the big day as well as everything on the day itself worked absloutely flawlessly and we dd not had to worry about anything. Best Wedding Food Ever

I couldn't have better things to say about CK. They were the perfect "all inclusive" catering option. I did not have to worry about linens, napkins, silverware, plates, cups, wine glasses, etc. Not to mention we got compliments on the food ALL NIGHT! They made planning our dinner so easy and fun. Best Caterer Ever!

CK Catering was our vendor for our July 23rd Wedding. They hit the ball out of the park. We had a luncheon due to an early wedding time in the morning and they could not have been more helpful and professional from start to finish. Melissa is a joy to work with and they made perfect adjustments to accommodate those of our guests that had food restrictions. The breadth of selection was incredible. The staff was great, the food was great, the service and servers were great. CK is the best and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They were the star of our wedding!

Great Food and Delivered on Expectation!

CK Catering seems like a small mom/pop type of caterer located in SW MI...but don't let that fool you. They are top notch. They worked with all my customization of my menu and had great suggestions as well. Bob is extremely accommodating. He was a pleasure to work with. The entire team was professional, service orientated and the food was SO GOOD! Everyone loved our non-traditional wedding menu and said it was the best wedding food they had eaten. Melissa is very organized and pays attention to your vision and does everything possible to make it happen. Thank you for everything!

Delicious Food, Incredible Staff!

We found CK Catering through our wedding venue and we were blown away! Their staff helped us plan details that I hadn't even thought of and took such great care of making sure everything was perfect. Our guests had rave reviews about every single menu item from appetizers to entrees, I mean it when I say everything was perfect. We chose the brisket and maple whiskey chicken along with some veggie side items and both were excellent. Their servers were kind and courteous and while they stuck to the timeline we worked out beforehand, they were flexible when things came up throughout the day. You can tell they care greatly about what they do and want to provide a quality meal and overall experience to those they serve.

Delicious Food, Better Service!

Bob and the team at CK Catering are so awesome! They will help get you aligned with any of the things you need to serve your guests. They have so many different options of flatware, silverware, dishware, linens, you name it! I am sure they can suit any style or need for each type of wedding or event. But the best part.... THE FOOD! My wife and I showed up to the tasting and were completely blown away. We thought we had a solid menu idea and decided to try some other meals during our tasting and it made the final menu decision much harder than we originally thought. Every single item was cooked to perfection! They put so much care into any allergies you or your guests may have. They even will go out of their way to feed one person in a crowd who may have a unique food restriction or allergy. The last part, the service. They are so professional, super responsive, so unbelievably nice, and they are quiet and quick to set up. Where our wedding was, there was potential for noise/viewing of the truck during the ceremony as they came to set up, but the CK Catering staff took so much care to ensure they did not disturb or disrupt any part of the ceremony during their set up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone on the South West portion of Michigan

Highly Recommend!

We hired CK Catering for our wedding on July 17th, 2021 at Tabor Hill Winery and they were absolutely amazing! Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! The flavored water stations, appetizers, salad, entrees, ice cream bar, late night food station were above and beyond and I am so happy that we decided to hire CK to cater our special day. Melissa was so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She is responsive, organized, helpful, kind, and always there to answer any question you might have to ensure that your day goes perfectly! The wait staff went above and beyond and did such a wonderful job providing service to all of our guests. tabor hill wedding 10-9-2020

We used CK Catering for our wedding in SW Michigan last October and were very glad that we did. They were great to work with throughout the process and (most importantly) the food was absolutely delicious! Our wedding was originally scheduled for June but we postponed to October due to COVID-19. CK Catering was flexible with our date change and answered all of our questions we had regarding how we could modify the dinner service given the pandemic. They also had an outdoor group tasting in the summer that allowed us to safely taste all of the food options before finalizing our menu ahead of the wedding.

We had originally planned for a buffet style serving at our wedding but COVID obviously changed that. As a replacement option, CK offered an alternative where staff behind glass served up what guests chose. The modified service worked great and we received rave reviews from our guests about the food & service. We were very happy with the safety protocols that CK Catering had in place. Everything with our wedding was perfect and CK Catering was a big part of helping make sure that happened. We loved using them and would highly recommend them to anyone else planning a wedding. GREAT FOOD, SERVICE in a challenging year and venue!

CK Catering went above and beyond, they had never catered before at this venue. It was a family location, they nailed it! Not only did they learn the venue but the food was SO good! We had a ton of guests tell us how good dinner was as well as our appetizers. And then the desserts were gone quicker than I would have thought so those must have been good too.

So delicious!

We got married this past weekend and CK was our caterer. We truly couldn’t be happier! Due to covid, we couldn’t have passed appetizers as planned but they made a little appetizer station during cocktail hour which worked perfectly. We had plated dinner and chose the steak, chicken marsala, or quinoa portobello for our guests to choose from. Everyone LOVED every dish! We also had a dessert table which, again, was so impressive and delicious! We’re so happy we went with them! Polite, easy to communicate with, and so helpful every step of the way! Professional through and through

I was unfortunately one of the unlucky people who planned on getting married in 2020. Although we were unable to have our event, CK Catering was professional throughout the entire process. The tasting we did attend was great and I have no doubt they would have done a great job. Like most vendors, CK understood this was no ones fault and was able to split the loss between us like a real company would do.

Great Food & Service

CK Catering was great. The food was brought out quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The tasting held at our venue made it easy to select the food we wanted. When our cake was brought out there were not enough pieces cut. It took some time to get more pieces out and it left some of our guests to think that the cake had run out. A minor complaint but we were overall extremely pleased with the service and taste of the food. Highly recommend.

Perfection!

So thankful for CK CATERING! They were the preferred vendor of our venue, and I'm so thankful we didn't have to overthink it. Wedding vendors and the coordination of it all can get a bit crazy, but CK is so organized and I never had to stress over the food! We got so many compliments on how everything tasted, too ...which doesn't always happen! Our wedding size was 160 guests and we did a mix between family style and buffet. It was perfect! (Also, we were from out of town and they gave us a private tasting. Everything was delicious and we were so appreciative for this option) Many thanks!!

Great Catering Choice!

Our wedding food was so good! We did a stationed “heavy appetizer” dinner instead of the traditional plated and our guests LOVED it! Everything was delicious and all the people that were working our event were so sweet and nice. So so happy with our experience!

Taste of Michigan

Having grown up in Michigan, everyone always hears about the cherries of summer. We are so glad we were able to have Michigan cherries featured on our chicken dish. Everyone raved about the bacon wrapped dates and salad before we even got to the main course. Even though it was required to work with CK through our venue we are certainly happy to have thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We highly recommend working with CK! Even with the challenge of our wedding being the first at a new venue, there wasn’t a single complaint about the food or service. While our venue required us to use CK Catering, we could not have been happier with the results. Staff was very professional and their coordinators made the process so easy and answered any questions or concerns that we had. I love that they offer more unique and creative choices. We received so many compliments from our guests on how great the food was! We went with the maple whiskey chicken, flank steak with chimmichurri, garlic smashed potatoes, green beans with almonds, and roasted vegetables and everything was wonderful! I would highly recommend CK. We also served the dinner family-style, where there are larger dishes of everything that are passed around the table. It was something a little different and everybody loved it!

CK Catering, what can I say? These guys are FANTASTIC! They worked with me on a deal since I was providing my own china, silverware, linens, and glasses. Their food is really freaking good and their prices are even better! The best part for some at the wedding was the separate plated kids meals they brought special for the three children in attendance. They went above and beyond for us and it was phenomenal!

We used CK Catering for our wedding & could not be happier! To me, wedding food is usually so-so or, more often than not, just plain bad, so we were beyond impressed with the food from CK. It was seriously really good. Like really really good. (I want their recipe for their Cherry Balsamic chicken!) Everything was grilled on-site and served hot & tasted fresh and amazing! The food was a big hit with our guests. They were also really great to work with - very responsive & very friendly. I really can't say enough great things about them!

CK Catering is the caterer that works with The Veranda at the Whitcomb. I am so glad The Veranda has such an excellent caterer as their only option. They have many food options and everything we tasted was incredible. Our guests loved our food! And the employees with CK were all very helpful and professional.

CK Catering was such a pleasure to work with. We planned our Michigan wedding all the way from Virginia and with Bob and Melissa's help we did a fantastic job in doing so. They went above and beyond throughout our year of communication and during our planned visits. The family style dining was enjoyed as much as the food itself. The menu was broad and full of tasty food as was the late night menu. Our guests loved the pulled pork late night snack just like Melissa said they would. All the servers were so friendly and had excellent skills. Thank you for your services at our wedding!

We picked Ck Catering from a list of vendors provided by our venue and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the beginning, Ck Catering was in touch and let us know when decisions needed to be made. I dealt with Melissa who was so nice, responsive and professional. She always got back to meet immediately, even when I sent multiple emails, and answered all of my questions cheerfully. Melissa and her team set up the place settings at the venue and everything was perfect! CK Catering also sponsors tasting events every couple of months so you have a chance to taste the food and make decisions. We couldn't have been happier with the food. All of our guests raved about the quality and quantity of food provided. And the servers were wonderful and responsive to our guests.

CK Catering did an Amazing Job with my daughters destination wedding at the Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor Mi. Melissa Feldbruegge did a Fabulous job working with us on menu selections to fit our budget. She was so personnel and helpful in guiding us through the time line in making the food being served at the reception such a delight for all. Each of the chefs that played a role in the food preparation did an outstanding job, along with the service staff. Having Melissa there to direct it all was so Amazing. I would hands down recommend CK Catering for all your wedding menu needs. A fabulous company to work with in all aspects of catering. 1 week after our wedding and i am STILL getting compliments on the food! CK Catering did an amazing job! Between the appetizers and entree's, my guests are still raving. I also will add that I made this booking completely blind (not tasting or meeting first) and I went strictly off of this websites reviews..........They totally exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend them to anyone! The mac and cheese was a total hit! They worked very well with me seeing as though my venue was 1.5 hrs away from where I live and I had to do all of my communicating via online or the phone. Would totally use them again! We live in California and got married at the San Francisco City Hall in April. We then had two wedding receptions in our home towns over the summer. My husband and I chose CK to cater the party at my aunt's house, which is on the Lake Michigan bluff. They catered my sister's rehearsal dinner 3 years ago and we remembered the food being super tasty! They were great to work with and helped us plan everything from across the country. CK is organized and their food is delicious. I got a lot of compliments! My guests were really happy and so were my husband and me!

CK Catering was the best option we could have possibly gone with for our wedding this past weekend at The Blue Dress Barn. They have amazing food, service and preparation! If you get married on the West Side of the state, especially at Blue Dress Barn, CK is your best option! I spoke with many companies not as familiar with the venue or with outrageous prices. Melissa the coordinator for CK was helpful and accommodating having phone meetings with my husband and I after hours at home due to my work schedule. The food, set up and service was wonderful! CK Catering was wonderful to work with. From start to finish they were very responsive to e-mails and made the planning process much easier. On the day of our wedding the entire team was professionally dressed and did an excellent job moving around to all of the tables. All of the guests at our wedding were talking about the "non-traditional" wedding food! The food was so good! I would highly suggest attending one of their group tastings to help plan/organize your menu/ table linens.

CK Catering was very pleasant to work with. Bob was very flexible in the menus he could offer us, in the times he could meet with us, and in his pricing of different requests. The company has a great system of collecting and organizing the details of an event, which revolves around Melissa I believe (or at least that was the case with us). Google Drive forms with fill-in-the-blanks for all of the information the caterer needed from us, along with scheduled calls to go over this information with Melissa, made it so that every little thing was thought of ahead of time, and enough ahead of time such that the bride & groom could have peace of mind weeks prior to the event and go into their wedding relaxed. We received many compliments from our guests on the food, which was an entree of pulled pork (among other things) served family style. CK Catering was actually the only company in the area that was not hesitant to accommodate our request for a less traditional menu of pulled pork, nacho bite appetizers, etc. The company was very good about taking on other small roles throughout the reception (Ie: relocating the guest book from the dance floor, or serving the cake pops), that are needed when there is no wedding planner involved.

My Guests are still raving about how awesome the food at our wedding was! And we didnt even place food on our top "have to be great" list. We had chicken picatta, tortellini, asparagus and potatoes (along with the apple crostini, meatballs, and veggie tray appetizers) and people just RAVED about how delicious it was! Mike & I chose CK to catering our wedding at the Blue Dress Barn this past labor day weekend. From the beginning CK has gone above & beyond, even preparing an entree they didn't offer per my husbands request! We tried them at one of their group tasting events they offer every few months. At these events you have the opportunity to sample all the food they offer, as well as a chance to meet some other local vendors (We found our harpist, bartender, and officiant here!). My husband & I are not picky eaters, so I brought my mom & sisters along as well. Once they gave the stamp of approval, I knew they'd be a crowd pleaser! I planned our wedding from almost 800 miles away, and I know if it wasn't for CK, I would've been much more stressed than I was. They covered every detail! We chose their full service option (highly encourage!) and so they took care of china, silverware, napkins, linens (for guests tables, as well as cocktail, gift, cake, coffee, and place card tables), coffee, water, cups, etc. When Melissa called a few weeks before the wedding, not only did we go over every detail regarding the full service option, but we also went over the seating chart, kids meals and where they were seated and their names (we had 27), as well as anyone with allergies or who were vegetarian. When the day arrived, the linens were all set up early so that our florist could set up our centerpieces and our tables could be decorated. When it came time for the reception, the staff stuck to the timeline Melissa & I created. They were so friendly and professional. My guests with severe food allergies had their meals prepared separately, careful to change utensils and gloves, and brought directly to the guests tables. They were thrilled that so much effort had been taken to ensure their safety. Mike & I received so many compliments from our guests on the service of the staff and how friendly everyone was! 2 weeks later and people are still raving about how delicious the food was!

We just used CK for our wedding, and it was fabulous!!! The food was AMAZING! The staff was super responsive and answered all of my questions promptly from day one. They were super easy to work with and had tons of options. The food at our tasting wasn't great, some of it was still cold, and it was realy hard to only chose three things to taste, but the customer service was excellent. We fell in love with the champagne chicken and the ribs. Due to our budget we chose to stick with one option and went with the champagne chicken. We do not regret that. We had the chicken, which was perfectly cooked and everyone LOVED, a macaroni and cheese bar, which was served in martini glasses with assorted toppings, a salad that we chose, rolls, and steamed veggies. Everything was perfect. The staff was outstanding, very sweet and kind, went over the top to make sure everything was perfect. We chose to have buffet style dining with the bamboo plates, it was perfect. They were very conscious of food allergies and we had a few vegans in the party. They made sure all of that was taken care of. I have a gluten allergy and they had my plate already ready for me when dinner started, and i appreciated that so much. All of our guests loved the food and loved the staff, we would use them again in a heartbeat. I loved the menu sign they made for us, and i think that my only complaint of the whole night was that they spelled the grooms name wrong on the sign. We didn't even notice until we saw pictures. Our guests are STILL talking about how good the food was and how much they loved the staff. Thank you so much CK for making our wedding so special!!!!! (We planned the entire wedding from out of state and that was not a problem for them or us!) ****EDIT I forgot to add that we did the late night snack and chose the walking tacos. They were SO GOOD. Our guests loved them and we are so glad we did it

CK Catering was fantastic! Everyone has continued to tell me how great the food was at my wedding! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with everything. The food was outstanding and the price was amazing! They are extremely flexible and allowed us to return the coffee, water and lemonade stations back the next day so that we could keep them for the whole evening. They were very professional and thorough in the way the set up and conduct their catering services. We also rented our linens from them and our tables looked beautiful and exactly how I wanted them. I would recommend anyone needing catering for an event to go to one of their taste testings, trust me you won't be disappointed! My only problem with CK is that they have too many delicious items that it was very difficult to narrow it down for our menu!

CK Catering did a fantastic job to help us determine what we wanted for our menu. We decided against a formal sit-down dinner and instead wanted hor d'oeuvres and stations. They were also able to accommodate for food allergies that we had. CK catering did the catering for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. We choose a pig roast menu. Let's just say that 100 people ate an ENTIRE pig. They not only went back for seconds but thirds and fourths. We have done A LOT of pig roasts - but we have NEVER had this many comments about a PIG! They loved it - and trust me these are picky customers! They cleaned up and even went out to get foil pans for us to save the extras. During the middle of the event we ran out of plates (because they kept coming back for more!) and they even made a run to the grocery store to pick up more plates. They were flexible on menu selection and a pleasure to deal with.

I was most concerned about the food at our wedding as I didn't want to offer our guests the typical chicken and beef dishes. Bob, Melissa and their team did a great job thinking outside the box with us and creating a unique and delicious menu! Our dinner was served family style with braised beef short ribs, pork tenderloin with a mango salsa, grilled veggies and roasted potatoes. Our guests are still raving! THANK YOU!!!

The venue that I chose automatically came with this caterer. I was worried at first- but I shouldn’t have been. The food was awesome- which is rare for weddings.. usually everything is overcooked and just not good etc. I had several people comment on how great everything tasted. I would surely use them again!

Couldn't say enough wonderful things about these guys. Their food is amazing. We knew they were great based on other reviews and the tasting event we went to - but they were beyond great! We didn't have the big-budget some people did to get really creative with the food, but even our 'basics' were amazing! We had fruit, cheese and crackers for our appetizers during cocktail hour and our dinner consisted of grilled chicken and veggies, grilled roasted red peppers and an AMAZING creamy spinach pasts with sun dried tomatoes. All food was grilled on site over an open flame and people were just raving about it. They also did our linens and napkins - all which looked exactly how I had hoped! They were very easy to work with and really customized the meal to meet our budget. Wonderful people!

Ck Catering is an amazing company!! The service was truely amazing, I felt like they really cared about us and our wedding and not that we were paying customers!! CK Catering was such a joy to work with for my rustic, fall wedding! We were able to do a tasting with them a year earlier, and we loved everything. They let me customize a lot of options on the menu, so the main dishes were unique and fit the personality of me and my (now) husband.

We went with comfort food - sliders, grilled cheese, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, etc. I had so many guests come up to me and compliment me on the food! They really liked that it wasn't your standard chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. It's nearly a week later and a friend was just raving about how delicious the pulled pork sliders were.

I am so pleased we went with CK. They made our wedding a memorable one!

We loved the food. If you want an expensive menu you can make one, but we chose to go with a few cheaper options and were still very pleased with the meal we had for our guests. They are also very helpful in having a variety of table setting options that they can offer, making it one less thing we had to worry about.

Bob and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. The food is amazing our guests absolutely loved everything. We offered our food family style and very much reccomend it! Our guests loved that they didn't have to get up to get food and it came out piping hot! Bob went out of his way to make an appetizer requested by us even though it wasn't part of his menu. He will go above and beyond to include what you want in your menu. Thanks for the excellent service and delicious food!

Everyone from CK Catering were just wonderful. Ours was a destination wedding. CK took care of everything. The food was out of this world. Our guests are still talking about it. Best of all.,.., Mike and I were able to enjoy our day, because, CK was in charge.

CK Catering provided amazing food and service for our wedding! Bob and team were great to work with when setting up our menu. They called and emailed to confirm anytime a change was requested. They were great to work with to ensure that our menu met our needs and came within our budget. The food at the wedding exceeded our expectations and we received many compliments from our guests on how delicious it was. If you are looking for food that is better than the normal wedding meal and first class service, than CK Catering is the way to go!

We had planned to taste several caterers but after our visit with Bob at CK Catering we were sold. Dont be fooled by his location in the middle of nowhere, Coloma .The food is outstanding and the prices are very competetive. Bob will work with you to find a way to get awesome food well within your budget. He is giving some of the larger St. Joe caterers some stiff competition with his delicious & innovative menu, great service and prices. Everyone raved about our food (we had beef tenderloin medallions with bourbon glaze & champagne chicken, all served family style). He also doesnt charge for a tasting appt, unlike some other places in St. Joe. Highly recommend!

We had a pig roast and chicken kabobs and we got so many comments on how delicious everything was! And it was also a great price; I called around to a lot of caterers and this one was definitely the best value. I would definitely recommend them!

CK Catering gave our wedding a unique flavor :)

Seriously, we received many compliments on the delicious meal, which tasted amazing, and far from what people have come to expect from a "mass-catered" meal, like a wedding reception.

Our wedding was held at a private residence in South Haven. Our vision was to make it fun and delicious, so we sought out a vendor that would do a pig roast for us in a classy way. We struck gold when we found CK, which not only provided amazing and creative appetizers, but a memorable dinner that our 80 guests are still talking about. We loved the bacon-wrapped dates, thai spring rolls and chicken satay for cocktail hour. For dinner, the roast pig was served two ways and was really tender and juicy and full of flavor. Better than what you'd hope for at any BBQ restaurant! We also served the champagne chicken, which was again very tender, rich and juicy. Asparagus made a great seasonal side. And, the salad with feta, cranberries and pecans was a nice complement.

Service-wise, Bob and the CK team were very attentive to our questions and provided helpful counseling along the way as we explored vegetarian and children's menu options. Day-of, the staff was professional, courteous and efficient.

We also had late night subs which people said were better than any sub shop. They were huge and had many different types of meat on each. They were a big hit with the guests.

We were so, so pleased with CK and were so thankful we selected them to help make our wedding day truly unique and unforgettable.

CK Catering was wonderful! Their advice and experience made our wedding planning easy. The staff were polite and quick to serve the quests. We have received calls and letters about the tenderloin because it was so tender they could eat it with a fork. We enjoyed a warm and tasty soup on a crisp, fall day. We couldn't have done better than Bob and his crew!

Perfect. People loved the food. Bob is flexible and has good suggestions. Great documentation to help choose a catering package. I added and changed things 10 times and it was perfect.

We had a cocktail hour, cake cutting, family style dinner, and donuts to go.

CK worked well with the other vendors. Day of I had nothing to worry about. They even provide basic linens in the packages which was a great cost saver.

Strawberry spinach salad is a must.

PHENOMENAL! The food is wonderful and the presentation makes it look just as good as it tastes! No boring buffet looking food or your basic wedding food here.... Bob does a great job being creative if you want something more unique but also can rock basic food if thats what you want. Our guests loved our food and he didn't break our budget!

The food was excellent! Beautiful presentation- very upscale and creative although not stuffy. Bob does a wonderful job listening to what you want and giving options for differing budgets but overall, the value for the food is unparalleled. He gave us a recommendation for a cake baker (who we also used and adored!) and overall, was very accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CK... far and away the best option in the SW Michigan area!

CK Catering was a wonderful value. They provided their own servers and were able to coordinate with our cake maker so we had less vendors to manage. Everyone at the wedding remarked that the salmon was the best they'd ever had. The tasting when we first met them was excellent; we had so many options to choose from, everything was delicious and presented beautifully.

First of all, let me just say the food was amazing! SO many people told us how impressed they were with our menu and how it wasn't typical "wedding food". I went to a tasting of theirs months before the wedding which I found to be very helpful when picking out our menu. The only complaint I have is that we had two phone interviews scheduled to finalize everything, and while I understand that they are a busy company, I had to call them both times a half hour after the start of our scheduled phone interview. The first time the woman said she totally lost track of time, and the second time she said she was with another bride. Like I said, very minor complaint, and the day of, they were nothing but amazing! I was able to speak with the lead woman for the day, and she was very sweet and made sure everything was going as we wanted it to. They even made sure to put appetizers on the head table so that we could enjoy them too after pictures which was very nice. Cost wise, they were quite pricey, but you do get what you pay for, the food was great. I had people tell me after the wedding that they were taking away the appetizers and entrees while there was still plenty of food still available, I personally did not see this, but maybe something to go over when finalizing everything for a future customer? Overall, we were very pleased with CK Catering and would recommend them!

Bob and staff were exceptional. So many compliments on the food. Presentation was beautiful. He even went so far as to carve out pumpkins for my appetizers. What an awesome team!!!

Food was very delicious, beautiful, and fairly priced--we had a pig roast for the wedding. They were very flexible and helpful at the last minute when I was trying to figure out how to get my favors set up--they set them out for me and lit the centerpieces, too. I worked with Bob, the owner, and Judy, who was the crew chief for the day. Both very friendly, kind, and helpful people!!

CK Catering is amazing! The whole team is very friendly and helpful from the tasting all the way up to boxing our cake. The food was delicious and is a really good deal for how much food & appetizers you get. They also made the venue look absolutely beautiful with their setup. Bob was really accommodating during our tasting process, & the whole planning team was helpful before the wedding! Erica went above and beyond during the reception and saved a lot of cake for us when we weren’t able to have any. Would definitely recommend!

So satisfied!

We are soo happy we went with CK Catering! There are very limited catering options on the west side of the state for weddings, so we were nervous about how our food would end up. I was also a little nervous it wouldn't be warm since it was a little cold at the tasting, but we went with buffet style and there was no issue. Our guests loved the food! It was warm and delicious.

We went with the jerk chicken, salmon, and creamy spinach pasta. The sides we picked were the garlic mashed potatoes and the roasted vegetables. The pie and ice cream for dessert was a hit! They also boxed up all the leftovers for us (we had to provide the Tupperware) which I really loved so we didn't have to waste anything.

We did two tastings, a private one and then a tasting event they hosted. I would recommend going to the big tasting so that you can try a little bit of everything. My only complaint is that we had to drive 5 hours one way to attend the group tasting in another state, which took up an entire weekend for us. I wish they could've hosted it at their Benton Harbor location.

Definitely try them out if you're thinking about it!

Food is amazing

CK Catering was awesome. Their selection was very fun & different, which was nice to offer things you do not see at every wedding. Examples of this were appetizers of Grilled Cheese with a shot of Tomato Soup, a Chip with Pulled Pork on it, Beef Roll, & others. I have been to many weddings & have never heard so many people talking about the food (usually everyone is trying to get to the bar). The experience with the was very fun (the tasting is a great day!) & the food was second to none. I could not recommend more.

Generally an extremely positive experience working with CK for our wedding this past weekend! The major benefits of working with CK include: great menu options (all the food was extremely delicious and well-received by our guests), simplicity of getting linens / dishware / food from one vendor (though beware of extra charges for additional glasses, table runners, and extras), and fabulous service the day of (wait staff was extremely professional and proficient). It was also quite easy to work with CK in the planning stages - we were able to set up several calls with CK staff to review our menu, number of guests, and other preferences. Responses could've been more coordinated between team members, but nothing was lost in communicating with multiple employees. Would work with again!

We absolutely loved CK Catering! Everyone is still talking about the food. Most of my guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They provide the dishes, the linens, everything was taken care of for me. I didn't have to use multiple vendors for all of that! Amazing service! Amazing food. The staff at the event were professional, and well groomed. The captain service to excuse the tables was amazing and nice to have! They cut the cake for us, even though we did get that from a different vendor. Love CK cater and will use again! Recommend them to any and everyone!

The food was amazing!! We have a lot of foodies in our group and they are still raving about the night. We went with a plated option with passed hors d'oeuvres and every piece was delicious! This vendor was phenomenal! We had a destination wedding and so we were recommended this vendor by our reception location and based on their reviews on Wedding Wire they were an easy choice. We met with them early on in the process and had our food tasting and walked through the various food/set-up options they had available. The process was fun and painless.

They worked with us leading up to the wedding to finalize our menus, color options, table cloths, extras (runners for the tables), allergies, etc. They were so patient, friendly and organized throughout the process. The only thing I would change is their availability in the evenings to have some of these last minute meetings as it is hard to do during the work day.

The day of the wedding, they arrived early and were extremely professional throughout. They met with each of our tables, introduced themselves, and checked on any special requests or allergies our guests might have. They also assisted those needing help in getting their buffet meal. They were so patient and friendly and I received numerous compliments from our guests about this very thing. They also set aside appetizers for my husband and I since we were running around and it was so immensely thoughtful. And they were insistent about us eating which I appreciated as I probably needed someone to tell me to that day with all the craziness.

And the food...WOW....we had only taste tested the meats for our meal....but EVERYTHING was incredible. I have never enjoyed wedding food but this was beyond delicious! And the guests continue to rave about it!! They went above and beyond no doubt.

Thanks again for making our wedding incredible!! We truly appreciate it!
