Sarah & Peter of CityLux are fantastic! We very much enjoyed their company and were very excited each time we got to see them. We did an engagement shoot with them a few months before the wedding and could not get over what a fun day we had, and how stellar the photos were.
Sarah even created my day-of timeline for our wedding day. She knew exactly what to put when and went above and beyond essentially organizing my day for me - we feel so grateful to have been able to work with them!
CANNOT recommend CityLux enough! Book them! -

We hired CityLux for wedding photo/video! My vision for photos was pretty specific, and you can't find anyone better for that city/chic vibe than CityLux! The team was a dream to work with - I'm super camera-shy, and I felt so comfortable throughout our engagement and wedding photos! From the start of our planning, the CityLux team was super communicative, detail-oriented, and overall just a hype team for us! Special shout(s) out to Glory, Kyra, Iris, and Kina, our wedding-day team - they truly went above and beyond and got all of the portraits and action shots we wanted and more! We are so excited to see the full album!! -

Sarah & Peter weren't just part of our wedding day, they MADE our wedding day! Not only are they two amazing humans, but they deliver so far beyond your average wedding photographs. They aren't afraid to try something a little different to give truly unique shots while capturing beautiful, classy, romantic, authentic moments throughout our day. They got teasers to us so fast (just the day after!) and we were already blown away. We just got our final photos and how could I ever narrow it down!? Every single one is breathtaking. If you're looking for the best, then Sarah & Peter are the ones for you! -

The best decision you'll make outside your spouse
I don't even know where to start with this review. We had a ton of amazing vendors, but Sarah and Peter are just in another league. We instantaneously clicked with them personally which made the entire (sometimes awkward) task of photos so much fun and completely stress-free.
We probably interviewed 5-7 photography teams and when I tell you there wasn't even a question about who we were going to pick, I mean it. Sarah and Peter could not have been a more obvious choice, and we cancelled our other calls as soon as we talked to them.
In addition to just being the best people (like honestly, you'll wish your wedding will never end just so you get to hang out with them more), they are the literal best photographers ever. Our engagement photos were fantastic, but the teasers we've gotten back from our wedding? Next. Level.
Also, can we talk about their turnaround times? You're never left waiting weeks or months for teasers, they sent our teaser reel to us after like 3 days (but don't expect it because they're busy guys! Just know it COULD happen and then it's just a lovely surprise).
Could literally ramble on about how amazing these two are forever, but I know you have weddings to plan, so save yourself time and just book these two gems like 20 minutes ago. Now seriously, go give them a call so you have the best wedding memories ever.

LOOK NO FURTHER - best photographers!
If I could give Sarah and Peter 10 stars, I would! CityLux shot our surprise engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. I cannot express how impressed we are with CityLux from every single stage of the wedding planning process! Hiring a photographer for our wedding was the most important detail in our planning - we wanted something to capture our day so that we can accurately remember it forever and we didn't take that decisions lightly. After taking such breathtaking photos of our engagement and making us feel so comfortable in the process, we literally planned our entire wedding (even selecting the date) around the dates CityLux Studios was available in 2021!
From their professionalism and extreme attention to detail, consistent responsiveness to email/questions - they happily met with us/worked with us months before our wedding day to make sure we had everything we needed for the day of. They made us feel like friends/family, which made the entire process enjoyable and gave us so much confidence when it came to the day of the wedding. My husband and I are awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah and Peter made us feel incredibly relaxed, at ease, and insanely comfortable - which resulted in ridiculously candid, real, and authentic pictures that truly captured our entire wedding weekend in a way we couldn't have even imagine. From Sarah literally laying in the grass/mud to get "THE shot" and Peter wrangling our lively bridal party- they took every opportunity they could to bounce ideas off each other and capture insane details which made every shot unique and more impressive than the last. They were never afraid to suggest new ideas and try different locations even when logistical issues and weather tried to complicate our wedding day! I lost count how many people have complimented us - both on-site at the wedding and after the final images were shared - saying how amazing our photographers were and "where did we find them?!"
If you are looking for photographers who will not only cater your special day to your unique needs, give you confidence throughout the entire process, and provide pictures that are beyond what you could ever imagine - CityLux Studios is your answer! Sarah and Peter will forever be our go-to photographers for all of our future milestones and life moments! -

I am truly at a loss of words to describe just how beyond PHENOMENAL an experience we had having Sarah and Peter capture our big day. Just two days prior to the wedding, we learned that our photographer (from a different vendor) had photographed a couple who had tested positive for COVID.
We could not believe it, with just two days until our big day, CityLux Studios stepped up to the plate, and saved our wedding day!! After learning of our dilemma, Sarah and Peter were on a call with us less than thirty minutes later panning out all of the intricate details of our wedding day. Although we were initially disappointed after losing our first choice photographer, my husband and I believe it was truly a blessing in disguise. Right from the start, they were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and took the time to ask great questions, and learn our preferences – just two days before the event. We totally lucked out, as were provided two photographers to capture our wedding day, instead of one (what we had originally selected).
My mother and I cannot rave enough about what a saint Sarah is. She literally went above and beyond the duties of a photographer, helping to keep the bridal party in order and on schedule, so that the events of the day would run smoothly, as I did not have a maid of honor, or wedding planner to assist.
After the big day, Sarah came to the rescue yet again, when I mentioned that I was extremely pleased with how great the teaser photos came out, especially given that I was not happy with the way my hair turned out on my wedding day. Sarah offered the option of a reshoot of just my husband and I in the park. We were thrilled with her proposed solution! We actually got dressed up again, I selected an amazing hair and makeup stylist, and we could not have been happier with the end result. In fact, some of my favorite photos were captured during the reshoot. We were extremely pleased with how ALL of the photos turned out and could not have been blessed with a better photographer to capture our special day. The quality of the work was superb with a quick turnaround of approximately four weeks! We cannot thank the CityLux Studios team enough!

Sarah and Peter were an abolute dream to work with!!! They were enthusiastic and pleasant and worked hard through the entire wedding to capture those heart wrenching personal moments and set us up with some dazzling shots!!! Fun couple who take incredible photos!
Sarah and Peter were there to capture the moments of our engagement. They were awesome - very personable, friendly, creative and passionate about what they do. Not only were they more than willing to jump on multiple phone calls to plan the big day, but they were even willing to wait in the rain! We could not be happier with the quality of the photos and would HIGHLY recommend working with Sarah and Peter! -

Couldn't be happier with our weddings photos
After meeting with a handful of photographers at the beginning of our search, we immediately felt most comfortable with Sarah and Peter.
They not only shared their thoughts on how best to capture the big day, but took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand what was most important to us.
We were already impressed by their portfolio, but the chance to do an engagement shoot confirmed that we'd made a great choice and took a lot of the anxiety out of prepping for the wedding itself.
All in all, we had an amazing experience with them both and can't recommend them highly enough! -

We hired CityLux for our funky nontraditional wedding in Salem in November… and we can’t say enough good things about them, both personally and professionally!
We met with Peter and Sarah twice in person before the wedding to discuss the ins and outs of the ceremony and reception, our ideas, and our vision, and to tour the ceremony space (the House of Seven Gables here in Salem). They asked great questions, and followed up as needed on all of the pertinent details – we felt so prepared and ready to work with them going in, which was helpful (since weddings can cause a lot of anxiety!).
The day of our wedding, they were super professional, super fun, super supportive, and SO incredibly easy to work with (and patient with us, as we had a lot of photos we wanted captured of particular groups!). They were never obtrusive at any moment during the day, and so incredibly sneaky (in the best way) - they managed to capture some really special and intimate moments without us even knowing they were there – I was really impressed by that.
We recently got our edited photos back from them, and they are even better than we could have expected – we are over the moon happy with the results, and can’t wait to share the images with our friends and family and have such amazing images for posterity.
I would hire them again in a heartbeat – just amazingly friendly people, consummate professionals, and incredibly talented photographers. They are just the best, Two thumbs up, five stars, and total love from both me and my new husband! -

This is a dynamic duo. They were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. They met with us prior to the wedding to discuss the big day and what to expect. On our wedding day they were professional, curtious and had the ability to calm nerves. After the wedding not only did they produces absolutely stunning photos, but they continued the communication so we knew when to expect our final product. This team is amazing and you will not be disappointed ❤️ -

Felicia Sent on 12/05/2017Working with Sarah and Peter was fun, professional, and easy! We recently had this dynamic duo do our engagement photo shoot for our upcoming destination wedding! When I told them that we wanted to do a beach themed photo shoot in the middle of freezing cold New England December, there was no hesitation! instead, they went above and beyond to find the most beautiful beach landscapes in our area to accommodate our wishes.They gave us tips on what to wear, props to bring ( they also brought their own props for us!) , Suggested we have manicured hands and fresh hair cuts... They thought of every detail. During the photo shoot they were very organized and came prepared with a list of ideas they had thought of ahead of time As well as had laid out a timeline to make sure they stayed on a schedule so that they did not run out of daylight ( since December days are very short!) Not only was the photo shoot fun but the photos they captured were breathtakingly beautiful! I loved working with them so much that we are flying them to Aruba to capture our wedding day as well :) I would HIGHLY recommend working with CityLux Studios for and moment you want to capture forever. -
