City of Westerville - Everal Barn Reviews

This was the perfect Venue for a small morning wedding. The yard was beautiful and perfect for the ceremony. The barn is beautiful without any decorations, but the small details we added made it perfect for our day! The staff was kind and helpful and answered all our questions.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at the Everal Barn. The place is simply gorgeous. I wanted to have our wedding there, but it was already booked so we settled for the rehearsal (we realize now it would have been too small a space for the wedding). I'm glad we still got to have it in our special weekend. The City of Westerville was very easy to work with when planning. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue for a small, happy occasion, this is your place.

Everal Barn is beautiful, my guests loved it so much. Kim, the coordinator, was so sweet, was extremely attentive to our questions and always answered quickly. Affordable, beautiful, and has a nice indoor and outdoor setting. Would highly recommend!

We struggled in the beginning finding a venue for our wedding. Most weddings during the pandemic had been pushed back a year so we didn’t have the best luck starting out. (We were a year out from our wedding). We live in Westerville and we found out about Everal Barn + Homestead. We reached out and they had our date available. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to have a venue that also fit our aesthetic for the wedding. We worked with Kim She was easy and wonderful to work with. I will say be aware of all of the deposits and catering fee. Since we live in Westerville we got resident pricing but at the end of the day I feel like we still spent more than we wanted to because of all the extra deposits and having to pay for use of the space to have our rehearsal there the day before (even with no other events going on). We weren’t able to come in before hand to set up the space (which would’ve helped tremendously). This is after we paid $200 extra to add an hour onto our day for setup. Outside of the extra fees we were incredibly happy with the overall experience and our guests loved the space as well.

My family and I threw a party for my parents 50th anniversary at Everal Barn. It is a beautiful rustic barn. We liked that they already had decorative lights inside and the elevator was very helpful to those that have trouble with stairs. The party was great. Kim was very nice and helpful with answering questions about the contract and the venue. The staff was great. While setting up we noticed we needed an extension cord for a stereo to play the music and it was brought to us right away. My only complaint is that you only have an hour and a half inside to decorate before the event. It was a little stressful not knowing if we would be done decorating in time. I would have appreciated being able to have a little more time to decorate to take off a little of the stress from throwing a big party. I had 6 people helping me decorate so we did get everything done but it could have been less stressful to have had more time without everyone rushing.

Everal was beautiful and helped us make it work for our number of guests. They were a little hard to get a hold of but overall (especially considering the price) it was well worth it!
