I always dreamed of a beach side wedding and Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center and Leslie Lund made this possible. I had my my wedding here back in September and my guests couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous the place was with big windows over looking the Pacific Ocean. Before I found this venue I had searched all along the Southern California Coast and could not find anything within our price point, until we found Cabrillo Pavilion. From the very beginning Leslie was very nice and extremely helpful answering all my questions, and believe me there were a lot! I can never thank her and Cindy for their help. My wedding was absolutely gorgeous!! I wish I could give this venue and its team a higher rating! Thank you! Best Regards, One HAPPY BRIDE!!

From the moment my husband and I walked into this venue, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding reception. Located right on the East Cabrillo Beach, it was very convenient for us since our ceremony would be right there on the beach as well! What I loved about this venue was the old Californian architectural style and charm, the fact that our wedding was the only wedding in the venue (I've always disliked the idea of sharing the venue on my big day with another couple :), and the way you can transform the place to make it look however you want! It is spacious, bright, with beautiful details all throughout the venue and it's location is very central.

This venue is PERFECT!!! The location was unbeatable, and I could not believe that tables & CHIVARI CHAIRS were included in the rental fee. Everything about the Chase Palm Park Center was just to die for. If you're looking for a beautiful beach location, this is the place for you! There is tons of space, and with the Santa Barbara beach as your background, you can't go wrong!

The people at the park services were very easy to work with over the phone. We used the picnic area of Shoreline Park it was perfect for our small reception.

Our wedding was beautiful and everyone loved the event space. We were married at the Chase Palm Park Center (ceremony on the sand, dinner in the center, drinks and dancing on the patio). The venue was perfect for our 85 person event and Leslie, the coordinator, was fantastic.

We rented the Chase Palm Park Recreation Center for our ceremony and reception. Let me tell you all the ways this was a GREAT idea: 1) we had the wedding on the grass behind the venue, which was, oh, 20 feet from the ocean; 2) immediately after the ceremony, our guests took a few steps to the patio of the venue, where they were served cocktails and appetizers under the palm trees while we took photographs; 3) we fit 100 people comfortably into the main room for a buffet dinner and toasting, and then spent the rest of the evening dancing on the patio under the Santa Barbara stars! In short, it was everything you would imagine a Southern California wedding to be.

The Parks Dept staff, especially Leslie, was extremely easy to work with -- they were calm and collected when we were not! Everything turned out beautifully and we are grateful. Highly recommend.

We had our ceremony at Alice Keck Park Arbor.
The folks at City of Santa Barbara Parks are easy to work with and very accommodating.

The setting is naturally gorgeous, so we didn't have to or want to bring in too many decorations. All of our guests raved at our beautiful the ceremony location was.

We highly recommend Alice Keck Park Arbor as a wedding ceremony site.

Wonderful location near the Santa Barbara Harbor. Beautiful view of the ocean and Stearns Wharf. Lots of free and paid parking spaces nearby. Has great outdoor area for dancing and cocktails. Did not have to rent Chiavari Chairs and this is standard with the rental now. Seats 96 people perfectly.

This venue was perfect for a "medium" wedding (we had 70 guests) with a magnificent view. It totally enabled us to stay within our budget and the site coordinators were extremely responsive and helpful. Because it is a city site, be prepared to find a lot of your own services and other vendors, but this enables a lot of flexibility in your day. For a beach wedding on a budget, this place cannot be beat!

We only had our reception here, but it was wonderful! Beautiful room with wood rafters and a priceless view of the ocean. They provide chairs, tables and a dance floor. They help you make your floor plan and they set up the chairs, tables, dance floor and anything else of theirs you are using before your time starts there. The staff is really helpful and answer all questions promptly. Even though we had about 1/2 capacity at our wedding, it felt full and lively. You have to use all outside vendors, but they do have a preferred list, who have all done events there before.

This wedding venue was perfect for us because we could say our vows on the sand, then have dinner and dancing at this venue which overlooks the Santa Barbara pier and has panoramic ocean views. We made the outside patio the dance floor, so we could dance under the stars in to the night. Very clean inside, great gardens surrounding it, and easy parking for guests.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chase Palm Park Center in February. The venue was perfect for our small, intimate wedding (50). We had a struggle finding a wedding venue in Santa Barbara that could be entirely indoors if the weather was bad (always a concern in February). This was perfect! It turned out that weather was great, and we were able to get married on the patio facing the ocean.

The major pros of this venue: location, size (for smaller weddings), price (includes tables and chairs), indoor/outdoor venue, ability to have ceremony & reception in the same place, able to dance outdoors on patio (we rented a dance floor for indoors since it was February), music can play until midnight, Leslie and her staff were friendly and accommodating

The only real con I found for this location was that they're pretty strict about hours. You only reserve it for the day of your event, so you can't do any set up the day before. Also, they told us they would sweep and spray the patio the morning of our wedding, but according to our coodinator and caterer, this didn't happen.

Other than the few minor cons, this is really a great Santa Barbara wedding venue!
