I cannot say enough great things about Susan and her team at City Cafe & Bakery!! My husband is in the military, so our wedding date was up in the air until a week before the ceremony. Susan was very understanding though. I changed my mind a few times on menu items, and she kept track of all my changes and never complained about my indecisiveness. Since I'm from out of State, I didn't get the chance to taste much of the food until dinner was served on our wedding night (not at the fault of the vendor, I didn't exercise my options, and had heard so many wonderful things about their food that I trusted it would all taste great). Whenever I was in town, Susan was able to meet with me to go over any changes in my plan with short notice. All of the food was phenomenal-I especially loved the Southwestern egg rolls and the beef tenderloin (and the sauce/glaze that came with it).
Susan made our wedding cake as well. It was Italian cream, and was probably the best cake I'd ever eaten! We even had family over the day after to enjoy seconds of the cake while we opened our wedding gifts. It was a hit with everyone!!
Susan was also my wedding planner-she provided the tables, chairs, linens, china, servers, bartenders, centerpieces, and much of the decor. She and her team did all of the cooking, set-up, take-down, and clean-up. She truly had a lot on her plate with my wedding, and pulled it all off excellently!

I'm told the food was amazing! The hors d'oeuvres were completely devoured by the time the ceremony was over and I would have had a chance to try them. The dinner afterwards was WONDERFUL! She even did a special request of as much organic food as possible. And the cake was beautiful. Most people in town go to Halfmann's for their cakes, but after learning they just used a boxed mix I wanted to find someone who made their cake from scratch and City Cafe did. I highly recommend Susan and her team.

We were happy with Susan's work. She did our cake (which was amazing!!), appetizers, meal and the decorating. She was happy to make changes even days before the wedding. I would advise though, if you get the ranchero beans as a side dish, ask her not to add the jalapenos.
