A Day to Remember: Rustic Charm and Excellent Service
While our event was a reunion and not a wedding, the professionalism, communication, and event pricing are still very relevant. I cannot express enough how fantastic Kate and the Circle D Farm staff were with helping us have a successful family reunion. Kate was kind and patient. She answered every question. Came up with solutions for various issues that we had that came up prior to the reunion. She patiently worked with me when I was out of the country and still trying to plan. She understands event planning and mentioned things that I did not consider. On the day of the event, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and even more importantly, we did not have to worry about the logistics of food preparation and clean up. We could concentrate on being with each other and having fun reconnecting. The pricing was reasonable. We enjoyed the rustic environment of the farm. We highly recommend Kate and Circle D Farm and would definitely have a reunion there again.

Our experience with Circle D Farm was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The staff was not only professional and welcoming, but they went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our day was perfect. The value of what’s included in their wedding packages is truly unbeatable—from the venue space and setup to catering and coordination, everything was seamless and stress-free. Scheduling was straightforward and efficient, the food was incredible, and we were blown away by the range of choices available to personalize our wedding to fit our theme. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-organized place to say “I do.” Circle D Farm offers exceptional service at an exceptional price, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to have our wedding there.

Just married!
We just got married here on 04/26 and it was everything I could have imagined and more. We toured this location in July of 2024 and fell in love with the outdoor ceremony location, which offers two spots to get married at. The field is full of flowering trees which were at their peak bloom for our photos. Unfortunately it did rain on our wedding day so we were unable to get married in the field but the owner, Kate, did an amazing job of helping us shift to inside and we took our photos outside after the rain stopped. One of my favorite things about this venue is the beautiful fireplace, which we were married in front of instead. With 30 minutes left before the ceremony started, Kate and her team rearranged all the dinner tables in the reception area to accommodate the ceremony area. She also answered my endless emailed questions, usually within a day and was very helpful with getting my thoughts together into a cohesive plan. I priced out a ton of locations across three counties, and this was by far the least expensive but the biggest bang for your buck. The food was delicious, the staff were very helpful, and the location is beautiful. You’re missing out if you don’t consider Circle D Farm for your wedding.

Great facility in western Howard county
Beautiful facility close to home with a staff that works like they’re entertaining their own family. We loved having our wedding reception at Circle D. Kate Dowd is great to work with and very accommodating to the needs of the clients. The pricing is very fair. Our guests loved the food and commented on what a nice facility it was. We would use them again for any future events as needed.

Great venue & staff - 12/9/23
We had a great experience with Kate & her staff for my daughter's wedding. Kate worked with us on every detail and truly cared about what we wanted. They were responsive & supportive of each question and subsequent decision made. The property was perfect for us and the weather allowed for an outside ceremony at the gazebo. The sun setting pictures were beautiful! The food was great and drinks plentiful. There were several different places to chose for the ceremony depending on the couple's wishes. The venue met all of our expectations and more! Thank you again Kate!

60th Birthday Party
Circle D Farm was the perfect venue for our 60th birthday party. The staff was so pleasant to work with. The food was very good! The room was spacious and had a great balcony the length of the room. We were so happy and would definitely recommend this venue!!

A Beautiful Place to Make Beautiful Life Long Memories!
This is a very long overdue review, but in no way short of our overwhelming appreciation and amazement of our wedding day experience. My husband and I, and our families are forever grateful and impressed by the overall quality of the venue, the staff, the location, and especially the event coordinator, Kate Dowd. She is absolutely incredible and passionate in her job, and so lovely to work with! Kate was very friendly, organized, professional, flexible, and a great communicator. She accommodated all of our ideas and special requests (including dietary needs for anyone who has them) and was always available by phone, email, and even for in person meetings whenever we needed it. I also wanted to mention what a difference it makes as well to have the time and flexibility to come the day before the wedding to decorate the hall. We had a lot of intricate homemade decor to set up so we were able to spend the morning decorating and then we had a wonderful rehearsal dinner in the lounge area afterwards which made everything so much easier. A huge thanks to you, Kate, and your staff for all your hard work in making our day so special, smooth, and timeless.
I also have to express how beautiful, tranquil, and well kept the event hall and the grounds are. There are so many different spots for photo sessions and having the option for an outdoor ceremony is amazing. My husband and I got married at a church, but we still could admire and imagine how beautiful it would be to have a ceremony there as well. No matter what season or weather conditions you have on your wedding day it is a perfect place. Having our wedding day at the end of March we actually experienced periods of sunshine, wind, overcast, drizzles of rain, and to our surprise a brief and pretty dusting of snow flurries!
If you are considering a place for your wedding ceremony and reception, please consider Circle D Farm, they are wonderful people and it is an amazing venue!! All of your expectations will be exceeded and your worries/wedding day stress will fade away.

Perfect venue for a fall wedding! Ceremony & reception in one location!
We immediately knew from just looking at the venue, and speaking to Kate that this was the place we wanted to get married. One place for ceremony & reception, beautiful views of the farm & how spacious the banquet hall was. We got married 9/23/23 during a tropical storm, and Kate was very positive and optimistic that moving the wedding indoors would be perfect, and that it was. The food was delicious! Highly highly recommend for a beautiful wedding venue.

Wedding Day
Kate and her staff were true professionals. Everything from the initial consultation to setting up the venue and everything in between was handled in an easy going ,no pressure environment.
The weather caused an issue on the day however the staff were amazing to work with in transitioning to an indoor ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and I can not thank the staff for all of the hard work they put in.
I highly recommend Circle D Farm for any event.

My daughters wedding
The venue was beautiful and we were so pleased with the details that were met without knowing we needed them. Kate was always quick with a response to any question or concern that we had as well as having suggestions when we needed options.
The catering, servers and bar tenders were very friendly and accommodating. Circle D Farm made everything super easy, from reserving, to set up, to the ceremony and reception, it was simply amazing and I can’t thank you all enough! You made the day perfect!

Excellent Experience at a Beautiful Venue
Circle D Farm was an excellent venue for our wedding! From the beginning we were treated professionally and with genuine interest in our day. Kate, the owner, was our contact through 100% of our wedding planning with Circle D providing us with personal attention and communication. If you are looking for a top notch venue at a reasonable rate as an all inclusive option this is definitely the place to have your wedding!
As for the experience, Circle D is a beautiful working farm with stunning views that provide excellent backgrounds for pictures. Ours were incredible BTW. There are multiple areas to have the ceremony both outdoors and indoors so every option is covered.
Can't say enough about how great everything was for our wedding here but I can say that if you can book here you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous Venue
Circle D Farm was an excellent choice for my daughters wedding venue. She got married Friday October 7th 2022 at 4 PM and the weather was Perfect! The outdoor setting was casual and made a wonderful backdrop for pics. Kate was a dream to work with and attended to our every need when planning, setting up and breaking down the reception/ceremony areas. The fact that they prepare the food on premises and the bar was well stocked was a huge bonus!! I highly recommend Circle D Farm whether you want a casual or semi formal event! Thanks Kate for all you and your staff’s hard work 😀

We Love Circle D Farm & Kate D!!!
Circle D Farm is in a beautiful area of Maryland and captured exactly what we wanted for our Fall wedding. When searching through many venues during the pandemic, we happened to fall upon the Circle D Farm and we are so glad that we did. Kate Dowd was amazing and helped us coordinate our day to a T. She was helpful, super sweet, responsive, flexible and understanding. She was with us every step of the way and even there on the wedding day with smiles and warm wishes as we said I do. Amazing venue for a really good price
My wedding was a dream come true. I had my ceremony outside and reception inside. Circle D is on a hilltop in a beautiful part of Maryland with a spectacular view of the land around. The outside is really what sells it. I recommend doing as much outside as possible because it's just so lovely. The inside is kind of a no-frills atmosphere, but with the amount of time they gave me to decorate (all day the day-of plus three hours the day before), we were able to transform it into a really beautiful space. Kate is super accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. They really give you whatever you need. I got to have exactly what I wanted on the food and bar menu and I had a ton of options for basically everything. I highly, highly recommend this place.

When it came to my wedding I had high expectations. Circle D Farm went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. Kate would answer my many emails and crazy questions in a timely manner. While looking for venues in the area they were all crazy amounts just to use the venue. I'm happy that we were able to have our dream wedding for LESS than our budget since we didn't spend an arm and a leg on the venue! If I ever have a big event again I will always choose Circle D! And I urge you to use them as well :)

Perfect Venue and Staff!
June 19, 2021... This was the greatest day of my life, as I marry the woman I love and my best friend! The service was perfect. Kate and her team at Circle D Farm went above and beyond to make the day everything we hoped and planned it to be! They were always pleasant and flexible. We decorated the venue ourselves, but had a last minute decision to hold the service inside due to weather. I was surprisingly at ease with this, as the staff reassured that everything would be fine... actually it was flawless. I cannot thank Kate and the Staff at Circle D Farm enough for all their hard work and help on our big day!

Amazing Experience
Kate and Circle D were amazing to work with. We originally booked in 2020 but had to reschedule everything due to Covid. Kate was so flexible with everything and did everything she could to make sure we were still able to have the wedding we wanted ini 2021. She was so helpful through the ever changing restrictions, whether that be guest counts, masks, etc. She helped us pick the best options for us and we were able to have an amazing and memorable wedding thanks in large part to Kate. The outside space was beautiful, the indoor reception site was wonderful, and the food was delicious. We would absolutely recommend Circle D to any of our friends or family. Fantastic Versatile and Affordable Venue
My wife and I can't say enough good things about Circle D Farm. Working with Kate Dowd was a dream. She was so patient and super responsive to our questions and attentive to our desires and concerns with the pandemic.
We had reserved this venue in February just a few weeks before COVID hit the U.S., and so we originally had very different plans for our wedding. We were going to use the farm's beautiful outdoor gazebo area for our ceremony and then move to the facility's spacious and comfortable indoor ballroom for the reception. Once the pandemic hit, Kate assured us that the venue was putting measures in place to enable us to continue with our original plans in accordance with CDC and MD State guidelines. However, while we were grateful for that, we strongly desired to hold our wedding completely outdoors to be as safe as possible. Kate took the time to listen to our concerns and was amenable to our request to change up our original plans and contract entirely. She found us another location on the venue that met all of our needs for an open-air wedding with access to food and facilities. The new location was very versatile and charming and we were able to host a beautiful wedding reception there that received many compliments. During this time of uncertainty and figuring out what would work best, Kate was always kind and patient with us and very flexible to make our vision happen; we never felt pressured to do anything we didn't want to.
Our wedding day came and could not have gone any better! Our family and guests felt safe and had a fantastic time. The venue staff were very capable and kind to everyone. Of all of the venue options that we had looked at, Circle D was the best value for our money. And with the changes to our plans, we ended up saving even more money than we had anticipated.
The fact that we were able to share our wedding celebration safely with family and friends during such uncertain times meant so much to us. We are so grateful to Circle D and Kate for doing everything possible to make it a successful, unforgettable event!

Kate and her team were amazing! We had a great time and so did our guests, any questions I had Kate was able to answer. She was able to make planning a wedding during a pandemic such a breeze with her knowledge and professionalism.

the Perfect Wedding
Kate Dowd and Circle D Farm made our wedding day come to life! The price is fairly priced, with delicious food, a beautiful venue, and a wonderful coordinator! Planning a wedding during COVID could have been disastrous but Kate was so flexible and helpful! The outdoor ceremony site was perfect and the indoor reception was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Wish we could have stayed
Kate at Circle D has been wonderful to work with even though we had to cancel due to covid-19. She made us feel like we were her only clients when we were talking with her about plans. Down to earth and not pushy about anything because she wanted it to be what we wanted for our wedding day. We would highly recommend. The place is gorgeous with many different ways to arrange things. I wish we could have stayed but Kate was very open and practical with what was possible and we decided to take a different route.

A Hidden Gem
My Fiance and I had little hopes to find a venue on our small budget that would include a space and catering, and initially settled on a local hall with a limited amount of space. Then my fiance found Circle D Farm through some friends and said we needed to check it out. I was skeptical at first, but once we met with Kate I was completely convinced. The space was MASSIVE and all of the prices were reasonable and completely within our budget! Linens, food, drinks--it has it all and is perfect for those people looking for a down-to-earth or rustic wedding. The outside space is huge, parking wasn't even a problem; there's even a balcony outside the ballroom! I am so glad we chose to use Circle D Farm and will consider them again for future events.

Our wedding at Circle D was perfect, and Kate is so easy to work with! It is a beautiful venue, and the food is delicious. The option to go set up the day before, and to have hair and makeup done at Circle D the day of, made everything run super smoothly. We loved everything about it!

This venue was such a great choice for our wedding!
Kate was wonderful to work with and really made the planning process easy. She ensured she answered all of our questions thoroughly and went above any beyond to make our day spectacular.
Not to mention, this venue is one of the most reasonably priced and affordable venues out there and very generous in what they offer! We had four and a half hours reserved for our rehearsal/decorating the night before which really alleviated any rush or stress to get things done quickly on the day of.
Additionally, their catering staff takes care of everything in regard to food, linens, utensils, napkins, and alcohol and makes everything so much easier! They offer a free tasting of their dinners and have many options to choose from.
Everything was absolutely perfect with this venue. We would highly recommend Circle D Farm for your wedding.

Absolutely amazing
Kate took the time to explain everything and work with my budget but still get everything i wanted for my big day. The place is amazing beautiful and stunning views from the ceremony sites outside. The inside is updated and surprisingly big, the upstairs is where our reception will be held, it holds a lot of people without it feeling cramped and crowded. If you are looking for a venue, go visit Kate!!!

Can't say enough good about Kate and Circle D
I seriously can't say enough great things about Kate and her team at Circle D Farm. I some how managed to keep MOST of my sanity throughout the whole wedding planning process and a lot of that is because of Kate. She took this flustered bride who had no idea what she was doing got her right on track.
Kate met with us every step of the way and was so accommodating with our many requests for visits to re-see the venue. She has a kind and inviting spirit which helped a lot in accepting and trusting the decision when an impending hurricane made us pull the outdoor ceremony inside. I had no doubt that Kate and her team would make the room look beautiful and they absolutely did.
The food was delicious as well and if you're debating about adding the carving station, DO IT. I couldn't tell you how many of our guests told us throughout the night and the following weeks how amazing the beef was!

From the first meeting to the big day, Kate guided us through the planning process. Circle D Farm helped my husband and I get the wedding of our dreams. From the beautiful ceremony at the gazebo to the delicious dinner (specifically the herb chicken!!). The set up was just what I had imagined and I loved the bow sashes on each chair for the reception. The staff were always on top of everything and always had a smile on their face. If you want to have as little stress as possible for your wedding day, Circle D Farm is the way to go. :)

We had our reception at Circle D farm and I am so thankful for the amazing job they did! Kate was so easy to work with and answered all of our many questions throughout the process! Unlike other venues we looked at it it never felt like she was pressuring us into anything and she was always upfront and honest! When we first got together she had lots of albums that helped us realize how amazing the room would be and even had materials that we could borrow to use for our centerpieces and decorations! I sent her lots of emails and she always was quick to respond and allowed us to stop by multiple times to see the space so that we could think of how we were going to decorate. They also gave us 3 hours the day before to decorate which was SO HELPFUL! The night of the reception everything went amazingly smooth! The food was delicious, the alcohol was all taken care of and everyone who worked there was spectacular. If I could do it all over again I would! You won't be disappointed!

Circle D Farm was an awesome venue, the bathrooms were clean and up to date and they did everything! Set up, clean up, chairs, linens, food and alcohol, for a bride this was a dream come true. Oh and a bit of advice rent the lounge too when you go to book to ensure no one else can have a wedding the same day and it worked out great because it had rained all week of my wedding so outside was a swamp letting us use the lounge for cocktail hour. Kate was very flexible and has a lot of good advice always got back to you very quickly. The staff who worked the event were so friendly. Now the reception venue is not a grand room with pillars like you would rent at the Hilton but we made that room looks absolutely beautiful and didn’t break an arm and leg doing it. The whole place is absouletely beautiful it’s the only venue we even looked at. You also get the day before to set up and do the rehearsal. Would give it ten stars if I could. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else! The cost of the 2300.00 is the cost for the venue, (ceremony,reception and lounge) no incouding food and alcohol

I am so glad we chose Circle D Fame as the venue for our ceremony and reception. Kate and her folks at Circle D Farm did a wonderful job for my daughter's recent wedding. The service and the food were excellent. The reception room looked fantastic and was very accommodating for our guest (around 120). Kate was very instrumental from the first meeting and through the event it self in making this such a special and memorable day for all of us. She and her staff was very responsive in making sure everything went great and adapted very well to all our last minute adjustments. I would whole-heatedly recommend Circle D as a place to have events. Many of our guests commented on how nice the facility was and loved the food.

We researched a few places and liked the look of Circle D and found they fit nicely in our budget. We planned for an outdoor wedding with 50-100 guests (final tally was around 60). Well, it rained on our wedding day...no outdoor ceremony. This was not a problem at all, on account of the experience and professionalism of Kate Dowd, who runs Circle D. She already had the plans in place to move the ceremony into the reception hall, with the tables for the reception temporarily moved out of the way. Everything went off without a hitch and was actually probably better than doing it inside, since it was Maryland in July and we all would have likely melted from the heat.
We were given ample time for rehearsal and decorating the night before the wedding. We had rooms for preparation of the wedding party on the day of. Like I said above, the location switch for the ceremony was not a problem for them whatsoever. The food was great (we chose the buffet option and basic bar plan, all handled in house by Circle D). Everyone had a lovely time. Basically, we got our dream wedding.
Donna Diehl, who works exclusively with Circle D, did our wedding cake. It was beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. And it was a big relief to not have to worry about the cake arriving on time to the right place!

I do not have enough words to say how incredible it was working with Circle D Farm. They were the first and only venue we looked at, and we could not be more happy with our decision to have our wedding at Circle D Farm. The venue is beautiful and can accommodate a large amount of people. One of the biggest selling points for us was the ability to have the ceremony inside had the weather not been so nice. Kate is an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly helpful in planning our big day. I never felt pressured to do anything; Kate was very accommodating and understanding and helped guide us throughout our planning process. Kate and her staff were outstanding! She was so flexible with everything from ceremony location to food options. The farm is very well maintained, there are beautiful views of rolling farm hills and vibrant fields. The ceremony site was stunning the day of the wedding! The morning of the wedding was raining and Kate and her wonderful staff allowed us to wait to see if the weather would clear up so we could use our outdoor site. It surely did! God provided for us on our special day and blessed us with such an accomadating staff. The food was wonderful, all of our guests commented on the tender chicken and savory potatoes and green beans. Delicious! My husband and I would surely recommend Circle D Farm for any event. God bless you guys!

My husband and I can not put into words how amazing Kate and the whole staff at Circle have been throughout the whole wedding process! From the beautiful grounds, the unique (rustic and inviting) reception areas, and the family like staff! Our menu was cooked to perfection, our cupcakes made by Donna ( Circle D Baker) were amazing! Kate was there to answer every question(even repeats when having "Wedding Brain"), and The staff were very professional! I would recommend Circle D over and over again to anyone getting married, having a rehearsal dinner (which We had at Circle D also), or really any big get together! Thank you Circle D!

Circle D Farm was the best deal! The ceremony site is beautiful and the Banquet Room was the perfect size to accommodate our guests. The prices were reasonable enough that we could accommodate both of our VERY large families and all of our friends (total headcount was 175). THE BEST part about Circle D Farm is their customer service. Kate Dowd is the event coordinator at the farm and she made the process pain- and stress-free. She was always available to answer any questions we had and was full of great suggestions! I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding! Everything went so smoothly! Love, love, love that I found Circle D Farm for my wedding and reception!

What can I say? The Circle D Farm was a fantastic place to hold my wedding. Kate was so helpful in working with us to get the wedding we wanted. We wanted to have the wedding outside if possible and in April it's such a 50/50 shot. She worked with us to have it outside with the backup of inside. That morning it was decided outside. Was such a beautiful wedding there and the reception room fit us to a tee. The staff was always so polite and a joy to work with. The food was also great. We had the rehearsal dinner at the farm and the chicken cordon bleu and crab dip was fantastic. The reception menu was also very good. I even got to eat! I would recommend this venue to others for any type of party!

In search of our wedding location I first learned about Circle D Farm through an Internet search. Upon driving up to Circle D Farm we were overwhelmed with the beauty of the country setting of pastures, rolling hills and lush woods and immediately knew that this would be an ideal setting for our fall wedding and we were not disappointed. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Circle D Farm on October 24, 2015 and we could not have imagine a more perfect day framed by the picturesque setting of beautiful fall foliage. Kate Dowd, the site event coordinator, was wonderful to work with and she provided us many ideas and suggestions that were of great value. Kate never failed to let any of my many emails go unanswered and she was very prompt in her responses. The setup for the ceremony and reception was breathtaking, all to the credit of Kate and her staff providing us and our guest with an atmosphere of intimacy making it feel more like a family affair then an event. Circle D Farm and Kate did not limit us in our food selection. All entrees were prepared and served professionally and timely and was highly complimented by our guest. An overwhelming number of our guest were in awe with the banquet room decor and food. Everyone had a wonderful time. Kate is an experienced professional that provides years of wedding planning experience that allowed us to be less stressful for this special day and for us to enjoy the special moments with our guest. Kate and her staff ensured that our wedding and reception went off without a hitch.
The Dowd family operated business certainly takes pride in satisfying their client base. Thank you so very much Kate.

It had everything we wanted and the staff took care of all the details right down to providing flowers for the flower girl when they were forgotten at the mother of the bride's house! They went above and beyond our expectations with beauty of the outdoor venue, legwork to bring decorations inside and prepare two separate areas for cocktail hour and reception, and also, for professionalism. Kate Dowd was very approachable, receptive and generous with her time! She helped coordinate all the details from linens to timing of the ceremony. She wowed the wedding party when she helped us deliver on our promise to the flower girl that she could have ice cream if she smiled for pictures! (Ice cream was not on our menu!). The rest of the food was great too! They catered to our guests dietary needs/allergies and to our desire to serve a BBQ style dinner. We purchased the wine and beer package and guests were satisfied with the variety offered. We highly recommend Circle D Farm and the staff there to anyone looking to celebrate a special event with great food, professional and committed staff members and a beautiful, rustic backdrop!

Our daughter's wedding and reception was held at Circle D Farm. She wanted a country setting for her wedding, and Circle D Farm was perfect. It is a country setting with flexible indoor space for the comfort of guests. The entire experience from the first time we viewed the venue through the end of reception was exceptional. Kate, the venue coordinator, made it so easy for us to keep track of details and stay on schedule. Her response time to questions was incredible! The food was delicious - we received many compliments from our guests. We have many happy memories of wedding preparations and our wedding event thanks to Circle D Farm.

I am so extremely happy with how smoothly things went on my wedding day - not to mention, that everything was also on time!! This would not have been possible without Kate. She is amazing to work with and is very patient, always listening, and provided suggestions where needed. After our first meeting, Kate made the option of choosing Circle D Farm as our wedding ceremony and reception location a no brainer. The outdoor ceremony location is gorgeous, and they have a "Plan B" in case of inclement weather. Not to mention they do in house catering- and the food is amazing.
This is the perfect location for Brides who are looking for an outdoor venue with an indoor reception.

We absolutely enjoyed having our wedding ceremony and reception at Circle D Farm. The location was perfect for us. When we went for our first look we knew right away this was where we wanted to have our wedding. The outdoor ceremony is so perfect, with your choice of a trellis or gazebo. We chose the trellis but either spot comes with gorgeous tree lines and rolling fields in the back ground. We got married in early September and the greenery was so lovely in our photos. The banquet area was amazing! The banquet area is on the second floor with large windows, a wrap around balcony and fireplace makes the room feel so comfortable. We had about 125+ guests and there was plenty of room for tables, mingling and dancing. There is also a downstairs lobby available that is very nice for gathering guest before the ceremony. The catering is done in house. We served a vegetarian meal and everything was amazing! Kate helped us plan our menu and bar packaged and kept us within our tight budget. Our wedding day was such a blur of love and excitement it was Kate Dowd who kept everything moving so smoothly. She kept my groom and I happy and comfortable while we anxiously waited for the ceremony to start, played director keeping our wild groomsmen in line and was even there to give cues to us for when to start our march. Kate went above and beyond our expectations as an event planner. She really took the guess work out of planning our wedding, always happy to make a suggestion but more than willing to accommodate your dreams and ideas. Do yourself a favor and check out Circle D Farm.

Our photographer noted how accommodating Circle D was too in providing a table, chair and linens for our photo booth. The outdoor setting is absolutely stunning- we had a fall wedding and the setting was beautiful! At the end of our wedding I told Kate that it was better than perfect and I truly meant that. The event staff were great too-- very friendly, efficient and professional. Our food was delicious--we got a lot of positive feedback from our guests too. I really could not have imagined a better day- our wedding was beautiful and I was able to relax along the way knowing that Circle D was going to make sure that our day would be great! Kate handled everything with the upmost professionalism and made our planning a breeze! They handled everything, planning, food, refreshments, set up and tear down, the whole thing! It ended up raining on our wedding day and had to move the ceremony inside, and she handled it and rearranged everything perfectly. We could not have found a better place to get married!

The whole staff was extremely flexible as well as available to assist in anyway from the day we first toured. Kate, our point of contact at Circle D, was such a blessing throughout the process. I felt very confident in her leading up to the wedding and the day of... I knew she was going to take care of anything that needed to be done and she definitely did! There was one issue that arose beyond their control, and the staff at Circle D went above and beyond to fix the issue, I was amazed and so thankful. This is an awesome place to be a bride!!!

Kate is absolutely amazing. I kept telling her that she was a magician. She was a joy to work with and made the location for our ceremony and reception amazingly easier. Anytime we ran into hurdles, Kate was there like a magician to help with solutions. I recommend Circle D Farm for whatever your occasion is. We used the lounge area for our smaller sized wedding and it turned out absolutely amazing and beautiful. I have received a ton of compliments already.

Fantastic!! We had such a great experience with our wedding at Circle D Farm! The ceremony spot is gorgeous and the banquet hall was more than large enough for a big dance floor and for people to move around a bunch!
Kate was fantastic! She got back to me about every question within 24 hours. I knew I could email her with a question and she'd get back to me immediately. She also had a bunch of fantastic ideas when we were stuck about what to do. Our wedding day went very smoothly and Kate and her staff made sure that we were well taken care of.

Kate, the event coordinator, was great to work with. She is personable, great listener, patient, and helpful. She worked with us from our initial meeting until we walked out the door as husband & wife. The flexibility and choices we were given was beyond what I imagined. The banquet room is a clean, blank canvas that you get to work your magic with, from decorations, linen choices, layout, etc. There is separate space for the bride and groom to get ready to ensure no first looks. When we arrived to decorate Friday, the tables, chairs, & linens were all setup. It was breathtaking! They allowed us plenty of time to decorate & rehearse. We even were able to arrive early on the day of.
Due to rain, we had the ceremony inside, but with all the windows & amazing views, it felt like I was still having my outdoor wedding. Downstairs was available for cocktail hour while the staff rearranged the upstairs for reception and the wedding party was able to finish family photos. Kate & the staff took great care of us, always making sure we had food & drinks at our table. I could go on & on.
So, if you are looking for a venue that has both inside & outside space, personable staff that listens & isnt pushy, affordable, spacious, variety of menu & bar options, stop looking right now! Circle D is the place for you! There is no where else I would have wanted the most important day of my life. Thank you Kate & Circle D!

Kate was wonderful throughout the entire process. She was also very flexible and quick to reply to any question and/or concern I had.
We had our wedding in their beautiful outdoor area and the ceremony downstairs. The area was small and cozy, perfect for a wedding venue under 100 guests, they have a nice upstairs area for more guests if needed.
As far as food, we did take a risk and not sample anything ahead of time, but the food at Circle D Farm turned out to be delicious, all of our guests enjoyed it.
Overall, we had a wonderful, budget friendly, wedding thanks to Circle D Farm. I would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I just got married here on Saturday December 14, 2013. Let me just say that this is the first place we looked and the last. They are super affordable and Kate the event coordinator is amazing and very easy to work with. We kept changing our minds and then changing them back. She is very easy to talk to and is very good at what she does. She gives you her ideas and she has some great ones. We ended up getting married in the banquet hall obviously it was snowing that day and they had the entire room set up for the ceremony in front of the fireplace. Then after the ceremony everyone went downstairs to the lounge for cocktail hour while they made the room ready for the reception. Everyone on the staff that day was super friendly and helpful and bent over backwards to help whenever we needed it. The price was perfect for us since we were paying for everything on a very strict budget. They also have a beautiful outside ceremony area. Either way I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone. They did amazing and our special day wouldn't have been that great without there help. The food was absolutely delicious we went with the generic baked chicken in a white wine sauce, with red roasted potatoes, and mixed vegetables with a salad. Thank you Kate, Daniel and I loved having our special day there.

Picking the venue is the biggest decision during wedding planning. Kate Dowd and her staff could not have made it easier for my husband and I. Besides the amazing property and the huge banquet room, the price for all they offered was extremely reasonable compared to a few others places we looked at. We were able to take our time the day before to decorate the room just how we visioned and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Besides everything I've mentioned and rated above, my favorite thing about working with Circle D was that everything was completely packed up and cleaned for us the following day. As a bride, it was a lifesaver and the last thing I wanted to do the day after my wedding. If I could rate this venue 10 stars, I would.

We had 4 months to pull together the wedding, and Kate's calm, helpful manner kept everything going smoothly. The room was the perfect size and our guests raved about how lovely everything was. There was nothing Kate couldn't handle -- last minute changes to the wedding service, menu planning, décor-- she was always flexible and had fantastic suggestions. No matter what we wanted, Kate and the Circle D made it happen. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and efficient, and everything was handled with a professionalism that made it all seem effortless. The prices were unbeatable -- the best value for your money in Howard County, I highly recommend the Circle D to everyone planning a wedding. You can't go wrong with the Circle D and Kate Dowd.

We could not be more pleased with Circle D. Our original reception venue double booked and cancelled on us the day before our invites went to press. I called Kate at Circle D and she arranged to meet with us right away. The setting was perfect for our wedding......even if my vision kept changing. Kate worked with us every step of the way and the day way was nearly perfect. Every wedding has small glitches I am just happy to say none of them had anything to do with Circle D. The food was great. The decorations were beautiful and the service was fantastic. Her staff was really OTB....On The Ball! I will not hesitate to recommend Circle D to everyone. Kate was and is amazing!

I'll be honest, we weren't sure about this venue at first. After seeing the banquet hall and the outside wedding ceremony area, we felt more at ease about it. But when everything came together and all of the decorations were in place, it transformed into a venue that impressed even the snobbiest relative. We had about 100 guests and the upstairs banquet hall was plenty of room. It did not feel stuffy or tight. We can't say enough about how impressed we were with this venue and it's staff. The best and only thing we need say about Kate is that on our wedding day (and the days leading up to it), she did a masterful job managing the event so that our stress level was kept to a minimum. She took care of a lot of minor details and tasks so we were free to enjoy our wedding. She was also instrumental in the planning and realization of our vision. Without a wedding planner, Kate fulfilled that role and helped us put together a wonderful wedding.

We were very happy with the catering from Circle D. They let us pick literally ANYTHING we wanted for the menu and were great about accommodating allergies/etc. The food was good and very reasonably priced, and the bar prices were also good. Plus, they let you bring in your own cake/dessert!

Very Affordable and helped us plan how everything from ceremony upstairs to the reception downstairs would go. They are very flexible with letting us rent out the basement for our wedding but letting us use the upstairs for our ceremony so that when our dj introduced us to our guests we would come in from where the elevator was! Let us us a lot of decorations that they already had! Very wonderful people here!

Circle D was the most amazing place to have our fall themed wedding! Kate was beyond spectacular. She kept in contact with us through out whole process, asked questions that helped me not forget important stuff, was soo flexible when it came to decorations and... well was just AMAZING!!! After visiting, meeting Kate and seeing the prices, we set up a tasting with Kate. I brought my fiance, Mother and Mother in law. We were all extremely impressed with the taste, ESPECIALLY for the price. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the wedding was amazing. Because of the lower prices I was able to invite everyone we wanted without cutting prices.
The photos online don't do the ceremony site justice. Do yourself a favor and schedule a visit!

From beginning to end, Kate and the staff at Circle D were amazing. We planned our wedding in 2 months, and many venues told us that they couldn't help us, or were going to charge us a lot of money. Kate was an answer to prayer. There was availability, and we were able to have the beautiful morning wedding that we wanted. There was an evening wedding already booked, so we had our reception in the farm's lounge, which is smaller than their beautiful banquet hall, but perfect for the smaller, cozy wedding that we wanted, and REALLY inexspensive). Also, we couldn't use the regular outdoor ceremony space due to the needs of the evening wedding, but Kate said that we could pick any spot on the farm. And actually, the spot we picked, overlooking a clearing, suited us better than the original spot! Kate was flexible with what we wanted, and again, the prices were amazing (2 words: Breakfast reception. Cheaper and yummy, and everyone likes breakfast!!). She became a good friend that we had just met, and she never ran from our many phone calls and texts. She was always patient and understanding and accommodating. And the wedding itself was beautiful. The Circle D is a gorgeous farm, and our outdoor ceremony was STUNNING. I can't stop staring at the pictures.
I would recommend the Circle D to anyone. Great value, wonderful service, gorgeous place.

They walked us through everything we needed to do (prompting when necessary) and definitely went above and beyond what was required. The site was gorgeous (especially the outside ceremony) and Kate was with us every step of the way.

We could not have been happier with our wedding reception at Circle D Farm! In fact, had we gotten married at a warmer time of year, we would have loved to have married at Circle D. The property and facility are beautiful. Our wedding was a tight budget and Circle D made it possible for us to celebrate with our friends, while keeping with our budget. Circle D was very accommodating, professional and provided everything they promised. The venue and grounds were perfect for our day with so many guests (including a ton of kids). Everyone had a blast and enjoyed the food and surroundings.

Circle D Farm was a great place for our wedding. Everyone was impressed with how beautiful the outdoor ceremony location was, and I felt more at ease knowing we had a solid backup plan in case of rain. Kate was absolutely stellar. In the months leading up to our wedding, any questions or concerns we had, she could shed some light on. Then the day before, when we came to decorate and have our rehearsal, I was so impressed with how the banquet hall looked. She also had so many helpful odds and ends, right down to string and pipe cleaners. Everyone was very attentive and we were well taken care of on our wedding day. I'm very grateful to Kate and her staff!

This place is wonderful!!! My husband and I looked at a couple of places and once we looked at circle d we knew this was the place. It is very affordable with a lot of space. I love all the options they had from the ceremony site and the reception layout. Kate is awesome, from giving us ideas to also giving us the freedom to do what we wanted. All the major supplies like tables, chairs, dinnerware, and even linens in what every color you want are included. It was very helpful that we were allowed to have Friday before the rehearsal to decorate plus we were allowed they most of the day Saturday to get ready. There is so much more I could say, the list goes on and on. All I can say is you will not regret choosing this place!
