Look no further - you need CinemaCake!

When my husband and I were starting the wedding planning process, we knew that we wanted to dedicate the biggest portion of our budget towards our videography package. We had 3 different people tell us that we MUST use CinemaCake. After our initial call with Sheryl, we knew that it was a done deal and that’s who we would be booking with. She made everything so simple and was so easy to talk to.
On the day of our wedding, Dave and the rest of the film crew were so nice and seemed to be everywhere I looked - capturing every moment - exactly what my husband and I wanted from our videographer! When we got our preview video a week or so after our wedding, it exceeded all expectations. We cannot wait to get our full video and the rest of the package because we know it will be exactly what we want. We cannot recommend CinemaCake enough - they absolutely are a must when capturing life’s most special moments!

Our perfect wedding was perfectly captured!

Working with CinemaCake has been AMAZING!!! Everyone was so much fun to work with, and made being filmed fun instead of something to be nervous about. We were especially nervous to do our Love Story, but it wound up being a super enjoyable experience, and really fun to do! You all made sure we had a great time, and everything felt natural! We cannot thank everyone enough for capturing our special day, our night before, and our perfect love story. We knew we'd only get the best of the best from CinemaCake based on all our previous experiences with them at Mandyland events. Everyone was fantastic, we cannot sing your praises high enough! Amazing Bat Mitzvah Video

Sheryl and Dave - We love the video(s)! It was so nice to see the whole party again, and the clear and vivid imagery that Matt captured was awesome. The 45-minute version tells such a nice story, we really enjoyed watching it! It was great for me especially to hear all of the kids' speeches to Sophie since we missed that part of the night. Also, the chapters make it easy to jump around, which is great. I loved the recap... the outtakes were cute and funny, too! All in all, it was great!!! Thank you! This means so much to all of us.

Hire CinemaCake!!!!!!!

My husband and I got married in October of 2023, and were lucky enough to have CinemaCake shoot our wedding, and we cannot recommend CinemaCake enough. Their team is phenomenal from start to finish. They are organized and communicative leading up to the wedding and help to make sure you have thought through everything before the big day. The videographers who are by your side on your wedding day are experts at what they do in terms of video capturing, but they are also a comforting and encouraging presence and helpful in making sure everything runs smoothly and you have the best day possible. CinemaCake's turnaround time for editing was quick and their editing is high quality - we were so impressed with the quality of our wedding video teaser and full wedding video and have watched it over and over again. They are so good at what they do, and truly care about how they make you feel before, during and after your big day.

If you are at all on the fence about hiring a videographer for your wedding, my one piece of advice for you is to do it, and hire CinemaCake. It wasn't until after our wedding was over that we realized how much we wanted to remember and relive every moment from the weekend - and CinemaCake gave us the closest thing possible to doing it all over again - an incredible wedding video. We have watched our wedding video so many times and are so thankful that we have it to remember our favorite day. We are SO happy we chose CinemaCake!!

A no-brainer decision

One of the easiest decisions that my husband and I made while planning our wedding was to use CinemaCake for videography. My sister worked with them for her wedding and we knew they would do an excellent job! It was an absolute pleasure working with Sheryl and Dave. There is a great range of package options with plenty of fun add-ons. Our "coming soon" trailer is stunning and we are so excited to re-live our favorite day through the full length trailer. Fantastic! Emotionally uplifting film!

The CinemaCake Williams team, Sheryl and Dave, she on the business side, he on the technical/creative side, was wonderful to work with. Recommended by our wedding photographer of choice, we selected this team based on its business model, deliverable options, price point, professional demeanor, willingness to work within our parameters (i.e., ensuring that the videographers remain unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception, ensuring that mics are unobtrusive) and the intangible sense of personal connection. We have not looked back since! The wedding was one month ago and, yes, Dave and his team worked well with the photographer and were nearly invisible, as promised, yet captured the most wonderful moments as attested to by the fantastic, emotionally uplifting 3-minute trailer video that was delivered one week after the wedding, sooner than expected. While the long-form video is not yet in our hands, we are completing a pre-production questionnaire to ensure that our favorite moments will appear in the film. The knowledge that edits to the final product can, if necessary, be made after delivery, we are assured that the video will give us moments of joy long after the event itself.

Best in the Biz

Is there a way we can give more stars to Sheryl and Dave? Five Stars doesn’t quite capture how we feel about this dream team.

From the jump Sheryl and Dave came to every Zoom call prepared, detailed, energetic and inquisitive, in order to ensure every aspect of our big day would be captured to perfection.

Throughout the course of the engagement they regularly checked up on us, and it was almost like we got a new set of parents!

As far as their work product, speechless. Our “Coming Soon” trailer already surpassed our expectations and we can’t wait to see the full movie. The day of Dave was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, never intrusive but always there. He was so professional, fun and kind. In closing, we’ll be using Cinema Cake for the rest of our lives.

Amazing, hire ASAP!

As we are coming up on our one year anniversary, I wanted to make sure I left a review for one of our favorite wedding vendors! I can not thank CinemaCake enough for the beautiful wedding video! I have rewatched the videos, speeches, and even the bloopers countless times since our wedding.

We were a rescheduled covid wedding and on top of all the stress of replanning our wedding, we had our original videographer drop out ONE WEEK before the wedding. Thankfully, I connected with Sheryl at CinemaCake who worked her magic and found us two videographers in less than 24 hours. This was the biggest blessing in disguise as I can not recommend them enough! Everyone kept saying they didn't even notice the videographers were there as they were so kind, professional, and easy to work with. Your wedding day goes by so fast and watching the video, we get to relive the best day and even watch some amazing moments we might have missed.

Memories that really do last a lifetime

Working with CinemaCake was a dream come true. Our wedding day went by in a flash and we are so thankful that we had CinemaCake to document every moment of it. Our videos are something we will always cherish, and while photos are wonderful, the video is really makes the day come alive when looking back on it. We wanted to get married in October 2021, but because CinemaCake's soonest available date was in 2022, we waited! CinemaCake was the one vendor we knew we couldn't have a wedding without. The amount of work and thought that goes into their videos is simply unparalleled. Before our wedding, we had CinemaCake put together a ""Love Story" - a video showcasing how we met and how our relationship progressed - and were thrilled that we did. It set the perfect stage for our ceremony and we got feedback all night long about how special and unique it was. During the morning of the wedding working with CinemaCake's team was a dream. They drove out to our venue early during a snowstorm to make sure we got the perfect drone footage, and even delivered our flowers because the florist was too afraid to drive down the narrow road in the heavy snow. During the wedding, we hardly noticed the team. Even though there were three videographers, they blended in with the crowd and even watching our video we were amazed by some of the shots we didn't even realize were captured. Our coming soon trailer was ready in less than a week! We were so impressed (as were all of our friends!) by the quality and by the feeling that just 3 minutes could deliver. We just got our video last night and could never have imagined how wonderful it would turn out. We are so thankful to the CinemaCake team. The process was incredible every step of the way, and our videos and bonus features are indicative of the effort and care that goes into every CinemaCake video.

Literal Geniuses: CinemaCake you are THE BEST!

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone involved with CinemaCake. They are some of the kindest, most professional, and most talented individuals I have ever met. Dave and Sheryl were so wonderful to work with during the planning process and through two date postponements spanning over two years due to covid. The wedding day went by so quickly and I can honestly say that I have watched our trailer over 50x just reliving the day in an effort to try and remember everything that happened. It brings such happiness to my entire family every single time we press play.

Next level production!!

The best filmmakers!! I normally cringe at wedding videos, but I knew I had to have cinemacake for my event since it was so well done- I would laugh and cry just watching their videos. When my philly wedding was canceled and I moved my wedding across the country to Utah, I did not want to let go of CinemaCake and Im so glad I did not. They worked with me so that I did not lose my deposit and instead went out to Utah and did the best job producing my wedding video. It really captured the entire weekend so well. DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!

Truly a talented team

Greg and I have no regrets with hiring CinemaCake to capture our wedding day. CinemaCake comes to Corona Bride's Emergency 1 week before Wedding

A week before my wedding, my original video vendor cancelled on me given the COVID-19 pandemic. It was full panic mode and CinemaCake was one of the vendors recommended from friends + family. Within 24 hours, I was able to interview and hire CinemaCake. Working in the creative industry, it is easy for me to identify quality creatives and I knew I was making the right choice with Dave & his team. They were so responsive and willing to travel 3 hours to my wedding to capture our greatest memory. On the wedding day, I kept saying "where are my videographers?" As great professionals, they knew how to remain out of the scene and capture our moments without interfering with our day. I love our Coming Soon trailer and cannot wait to see the full video! If you are debating reaching out this vendor, have an interview and I promise they'll have options for your needs, you will not regret hiring CinemaCake. Cinemacake team is world class!

Sheryl, Dave, and the team at Cinemacake were awesome in working with us on our wedding. The final video they put together capturing the most important parts of our wedding was impressive and world class. Sheryl and Dave are true professionals and a lot of fun to work with. They do a great job getting to know you and understanding what is most important to you. They give you the time of the day and work hard to make sure they understand exactly what moments to capture through their simple and easy process and questionnaires. Fantastic Experience - Extremely Professional

Wonderful experience - extremely professional. Our videographers were outstanding and so easy to work with. Very professional in interactions with other vendors (particularly photographers). Simply the Best

At the beginning stages of planning my wedding, our wedding coordinator recommended Cinemacake because they had worked with them multiple times and always had great results. When I looked into hiring them, I realized that they had done wedding videos for some of my friends and they were so beautiful that I cried at every. single. one. Cinemacake seems to add a little something that no one else has to make their videos the best. Dave and Sheryl are so funny, nice, and professional and are an absolute pleasure to work with. We received our coming soon trailer very shortly after our wedding, and we watched it over and over again. It was such a gift that Dave and Sheryl could let us relive our special day so soon after the wedding. We recently received our full film, and it is as perfect as expected. After viewing the film, my dad wanted a full length version of the father-daughter dance (which we had not specified originally) and Dave and Sheryl were so kind and added all dances to our package after we received our final product. There are no words to describe the amazing experience you will have with Sheryl, Dave, and their team for your video from start to finish. Sheryl is the most personable and caring person from the moment you speak with her. The Best in the Business!

Our friends, family, and other wedding vendors kept telling us that CinemaCake was the best - we had no idea how right they would all be! Quite simply, Dave and Sheryl are the best in the business! We were floored by their quality, amazed at their experience, and excited by their passion!

From our initial meeting, we had an instant connection with the power team that is Dave and Sheryl. They showed us some of their amazing work in their office theater (where we laughed and cried at some of the best wedding video highlights we've ever seen), and helped us brainstorm what our videos would be (we strongly recommend creating a "Love Story" video for your wedding, it was one of the highlights of our weekend and stunned all our guests with how great the video turned out!).

As proof of CinemaCake's commitment to creating the best wedding video possible, Dave and his colleague Cole spent the day with us in New York City in order to film our love story and get to know us better. It was easily one of the best days of our engagement as we took them through our favorite neighborhoods. We felt like celebrities the entire day! Special shout out to our CinemaCake editor Matt who turned the footage into an incredible work of art and something we're ecstatic to be able to keep forever.

During the wedding our video shooters seamlessly blended into the scenery, capturing all of the best moments without interfering or being too obvious throughout the night's events. It's true what everyone says - your wedding weekend goes by incredibly fast which is why we're even more thrilled to have worked with CinemaCake knowing we'll have footage of our special weekend that will last us a lifetime.

Truly storytellers of the highest caliber

Dear Dave, Sheryl, our Videographers and the most amazing staff of CinemaCakes. OH MY FRIGGIN' WORD. You are amazing at what you do. Truly storytellers of the highest caliber. I was on the fence about having a videographer at my daughter’s wedding (first of four to get married – I was a newbie in this arena). A co-worker married a month before my daughter and the number one item on her wedding list was a videographer. I get it now. I’m glad I finally listened to her reasons. Three weeks before Kate’s wedding, I found CinemaCakes who were booked already and yet were able to put together a last minute crew in a very limited time frame. And it included a drone! CinemaCake was the best possible company we could have hired to film our wedding! Dave and Sheryl are both friendly, professional and overall wonderful people. Choosing CinemaCake Filmmakers as our wedding videographer was HANDS DOWN the best decision we have ever made. From start to end, it was so much fun working with them. My husband and I went to the studio to meet with Sheryl and Dave twice, and they made us feel at home both times. They did a fantastic job finding out which elements of our day were most important to us, and they made sure their crew on the day of captured those moments. The crew on the day of our wedding was AMAZING. We received so many compliments from our guests, all saying that the film crew was a blast and just so genuinely nice. I planned on surprising my husband during the reception, so the crew really helped me stay on time and communicate with the bridal party to make sure everyone was there for it. We received our Cinemagram (60 second trailer) within two weeks after the wedding. The finished product film was sent to us under two months after the wedding, and it was honestly amazing. I've never seen anything quite like it before. All of our friends and family are in love with it too. If you're considering hiring CinemaCake for your wedding (or any event), don't even think twice about it... you NEED them.

My name is Gabrielle. My husband and I used CinemaCake for our proposal video and our wedding. My sister had found CinemaCake at a wedding expot in 2015 prior to her wedding and used them for her wedding. They did such an incredible job that it was a no-brainer we would use them for our special day. I was apart of the process for my sister's wedding, and Sheryl and Dave made it such an enjoyable experience, they really take their time getting to know you as a couple and wanting to know all the details that are important to you that you want documented in your film. They also make the process SO MUCH FUN! They make you feel confident that they will do a perfect (and I don't like to use that word freely, however CinemaCake has done a perfect job for all of our films). We did not have any doubts that we wouldn't love our film. They are very professional, they communicate frequently and deliver the results in a very timely manner. We were able to see our wedding trailer while on our honeymoon! We are SO HAPPY that we used them and will have such an wonderful film to remember our special day for the rest of our lives....it really is priceless. My husband and I were instantly moved to tears the moment we started watching our wedding “coming soon” trailer just DAYS after our wedding. Everyone tells you that the whole day flies by and we are so fortunate that we now have the opportunity to go back and relive this once in a lifetime celebration. When my husband and I were researching videographers in the Philadelphia area for our wedding, we came across CinemaCake Filmmakers on TheKnot.com. Once we watched some of their films, we knew we had to book them for our wedding day. No other video compared. When I watched the films, I had tears in my eyes for each one. Even though I did not know the bride or the groom, I was captured and amazed by the way CinemaCake captured every special moment from each wedding day. The filmmakers who worked our wedding day were so organized and kind and I didn’t even feel like they were there. They were able to get all of my special moments on film, including my first look, without being in the way which was something I really respected compared to some other videographers I’ve seen at weddings. I loved working with Dave and Sheryl Williams and Taylor over in the office. Dave and Sheryl made every meeting so personal and they really listened to what we wanted and what was important to my husband and I to be captured in our film. They offer so many add on’s, which are all well worth it. In addition to my film, I was able to add on my ceremony, the first dance, parent dances, and speeches/toasts. Working with CinemaCake was the most amazing experience and they are so professional. I can’t thank them enough and I am so happy with their services. Cinema Cake is more than a Wedding Videographer. They are Filmmakers-bringing video recordings of events to a higher level. For some, being in front of a video camera in addition to a regular photographer might feel a bit awkward. The Cinema Cake crew was great at capturing our day without intruding on it. Most of the time you wouldn’t even know they were there.
The production quality of their films far exceeds the area’s competition.

We had such a great time working with Cinemacake! We were initially won over by the quality of the videos they showed us that they had made for past clients. They make movies that seamlessly integrate all the exciting details of your wedding into a single story. We thought we were just getting the final product out of it, but the day of the wedding they were so a treat to work with as well. Their filming team was so friendly and fun to be with on our wedding day almost like they were other guests at the event celebrating with us. They worked perfectly with our photographers despite being from different companies. Working with CinemaCake as our wedding videographer was a pure pleasure! They recorded our rehearsal dinner and wedding and were both delightful company and unnoticeable. After initially thinking we wouldn't need a videographer, we booked CinemaCake on somewhat of a whim a few months before our wedding (miraculously, they were still available for a popular date!). It ended up being one of the best decisions we made for the day! Sheryl and David were extremely responsive and informative in all pre-wedding communication, and their team of videographers captured every moment without being noticeable to us or our guests. They are certainly a bit pricey, but their work is a great example of getting what you pay for- every feature and coming soon trailer I've watched are touching and professional, and ours was no exception! As another vendor asked us, how much would you pay to see a video of your grandparents' wedding? Great-grandparents'? We enthusiastically recommend CinemaCake to other couples looking to capture the aspects of their wedding that photography can't do justice to.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE THEIR WEDDING CAPTURED ON FILM! We had the most amazing time at our wedding weekend in New Orleans! Dave + team were fabulous and truly captured the essence of the weekend and our favorite moments. Pictures are amazing but film is the only way to truly capture these precious moments in time to remember forever. The celebration all goes by so fast and being able to hear your vows and Maid of Honor's toast again and see yourself dancing with your dad is priceless. While we were initially undecided about having videography at our wedding, we are so glad we did and so impressed with CinemaCake. If I could give just one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding, it would definitely be to splurge and hire a videographer and go with CinemaCake! They will not disappoint! There is nothing better than being able to relive such a special day over and over for years to come. Our trailer and our feature film were absolutely perfect... from the music selections, to the way they told our story, incorporated interviews with our loved ones, and the added "OutCakes" at the end. CinemaCake Filmmakers did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding! They were professional and non intrusive but extremely involved! They captured every precious part of our wedding. When I first viewed our video, I was absolutely speechless. There was no single detail or shot they missed. With that day going by so fast, it is a true gift to have this video so I can always go back and watch! We also included the SloMo Booth in our package. This was the perfect addition to our wedding. Prior to our wedding, the single comment most mentioned was how quickly our wedding day will pass. Given so many events and details happening around us that day, it was important to us that CinemaCake capture our wedding day in a way that not only Philip and I, but anyone who views the film, would be able to experience as though they were actually there. After watching CinemaCake's videos on their website, we knew we had to hire them. The videographers and editors at CinemaCake are so talented. We had three videographers with us on our wedding day (we had a large wedding) and not only were they super friendly and easy to work with, but you could barely even tell they were there. We received a "Coming Soon Trailer" and "Shortcake" film from them and we could not have been happier with how they turned out. They beautifully told our story and helped us to relive our wedding day. They are so unique in how they tell each couple's story and they really try hard to work with you to make sure they edit your video in a way that feels like "you". We constantly get comments from our friends and family on how much they love our video!

I know that a lot of couples planning a wedding consider not hiring a videographer in an effort to save costs. If you are trying to decide whether or not to hire a videographer for budgetary reasons, I would suggest trying to save money elsewhere because you will regret not having a wedding video. It was some of the best money that we spent!

oh. my. God. All I can say is thank God I'm off for the next 3 days because i will be doing nothing but watching this video on repeat for 72 hours. (i might have to call in sick on thurs & friday bc i'm not sure 72 hours will be enough). Next to marrying Greg, having you guys as my videographers was probably the best decision i've made in life. I've brought my laptop with me in the bathroom while I was putting on my makeup, in the kitchen while I was cooking dinner & even plugged my headphones into my phone at the gym so i could watch it on the treadmill. Everyone i've shown the video to is insanely impressed. I knew you guys were fantastic but the video surpassed my expectations, you're all so great at what you do. And it was really nice having such a fun, easy going film crew around that day. Tony's cameo at the end? Amazing. Thank you all SO much! I have to be honest and say that originally we had not planned on a videographer. That was until we saw cinemacakes work on their website....

They wedding videos are unique, breathtaking and special.

Working with Dave and Craig was great. I never felt uncomfortable around them, or even like I was being filmed.

My husband, Kris, was impressed with how they were able to spend the entire day with us and go almost unnoticed. They blended in perfectly and were a joy to be around.

They were a fun crew and got along tremendously with my other vendors.

They do these beautiful voice overs, and during the interview my grandmother said that Craig made her feel very comfortable and was extremely encouraging about what she had to say.

For being someone who almost didn't end up with a videographer, I have to say that I am more than anxious to see their creative perspective come to life.

Using CinemaCake to film our wedding was an easy choice. My brother and sister-in-law used CinemaCake for their wedding video in 2010 and I was beyond impressed. When I got engaged they were top of my list for videographer and was so ecstatic that they were able to do our wedding. Initial contact was seamless, contract and deposit all done electronically through their website, super easy. Our production manager, Taylor, was a pleasure to work with. We had a preliminary phone interview to go over details about the wedding, voiceovers, and information about my fiancé and me. This preliminary part turned out to be so important because the things we discussed were exactly what was captured in the video. Every wedding has its own identity and our video displays it perfectly. It really tells the story of our wedding without showing the entire day.The camera crew blended in perfectly to our wedding. They were great at coaching my husband and I through our voiceovers. We opted for additional posterity chapters of the ceremony and first dance as well as all the raw unedited footage (highly recommend). Seeing the raw footage gave me an even bigger appreciation for how good CinemaCake really is at filmmaking. To film edit an entire wedding and tell the story so beautifully is really a challenge and CinemaCake delivered perfection. The final product is top quality and very professional. No question a videographer is an added expense, but if you're considering it you should go with the best there is. Being able to relive the biggest day of our lives was absolutely worth the price. Thank you CinemaCake, we couldn't be happier with how our video turned out!

I am so pleased with the moments captured from my special day and the backdrop music that is so perfectly matched to the film. It exceeded my every expectation and I could not be happier. During the day of my wedding, CinemaCake was so skilled that I was barely conscious of their camera. They captured everything that I wanted and even worked with me afterwards to edit out parts that I did not like. You even have the option to select high resolution photos to be the signature image for your DVD. The thing I value the most is the way that CinemaCake seamlessly connected special moments throughout the day with a special commentary from my loved ones. All the guys at CinemaCake were professional, fun to work with, and captured great videos of our wedding day! They were very accommodating to all my requests of what to include or not include, even after they had already created one finished piece.
The only down side was that it took a few months for the video to be ready- however we opted not to get a "coming soon" video which would have be available sooner.

As a wedding professional, you get to know the best in the business. When it came time for my own wedding day, there were some vendors that were just "must-haves." CinemaCake was one of them. There is simply no other filmmaker in the marketplace that comes close. And you are just that - filmmakers - not wedding or bar mitzvah videographers. Filmmaking is a talent, a craft, an artform.

And as I watch my film, I am reminded of what an artform this is - and how exceptional you are as artists. There are so many nuances that one does not even pick up on in the first, second, or even fifth viewing. I can watch this over and over again - and it's not because I am in it (because I have watched several of your wedding films over and over again and I don't even know these people). Next to having Steven Speilberg captuer your event on film, there isn't Cinema Cake is hands down tops......You can watch EVERY video in the galley on the website (as I did), none of it prepared me for what I watched when I received my very own film. From day #1when I walked into their offices to the day I received my film it was as if they had no other clients to tend to...lol. You are in contact with them, it seemed like 24/7. It was not until a month or so before our wedding that I finally convinced my husband to agree to a wedding filmmaker. Our budget was stretched to the max and he felt this was an optional vendor. Had we gone with a different company, we would not feel as strongly but to say - you simply can NOT pass up this filmmaker at your wedding.

Speaking with Dave Williams on the phone for the first time was really refreshing. He is so passionate about his industry and approaches a wedding film like a major motion picture. If you look at same of the samples on their website - you will get tears, laugh, and feel like you know some of the couples.

We ended up choosing a Same-Day-Film package. Let me just say - WOW. After the cake was cut, screens came down and an amazing trailer-style film (see below) played for all of our guests to watch. We were in awe from the beginning, but about halfway through, I was completely overcome with emotion. Having the ability to watch the day play before your eyes while you are still in the event is indescribable. We were asked to pre-select family and friends to speak from the heart about us. Their voiceovers along with snippets from important parts of the day made it even more special.

Even two months after our wedding, our guests are still expressing a similar sentiment: the venue, cocktail hour, sunset ceremony, detailing, and more- blew them away but watching the film during the reception is something they can hardly put into words; we feel the same way!

I cannot say enough good things about CinemaCake. The biggest compliment I think I can give is to say that I don’t feel that our wedding day would not have been the same with out CinemaCake. We will cherish this forever.

These guys KNOW what they're doing! They don't make a video - they make films that capture your heart... We used Dave Williams for our wedding day and they made a Same Day Edit clip which we showed at our reception to all our guests. They were incredible and meticulous planners. They invite you to outline your details, your ideas for what/how you'd like the feel of your movie to be like... Not all vendors do that. They captured various details that we outlined in a document and we were suprised to see every detail captured..

My fiance and I were recently married september 15th at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia. Planning the wedding and selecting all of our vendors was not an easy task, but the one decision we made from the very beginning and never looked back on was choosing Cinemacake as our videographer. Our wedding video was one area we 100% did not want to compromise on. We knew a well made wedding video would play more like a film that could capture our wedding in ways photography simply could not and that we could watch and relive over and over again for the rest of our lives. We spent countless days researching every single videographer in the tri-state area; going through every single company website, looked at every review online from every wedding website, got recommendations from every vendor and the four seasons themselves.... Dave came out to film our wedding day, although we have not received the full film yet since it's only been 2 weeks since our wedding we have gotten the coming soon trailer and we absolutely love it! Cinemacake is more than the "Best of the Best" when it comes to selecting your wedding videographer. I had watched some of their films online prior to us picking them. I couldn't stop watching their beautiful films and knew that they had to be a part of our special day. They certainly did not disappoint.

The owners, Dave and Sheryl, are fantastic to work with. They met with my husband and I in the very beginning to review our package options and to get to know us on a personal level. This was very important to us because we wanted to make sure we had someone that knew exactly what we were like and how to make our video perfect for us. We decided to do the "Same Day Edit" as a surprise for all of our guests as well as the final film.

On the day of our wedding, Dave and his crew were very professional to work with. They showed up early to set up and jumped right in to filming our pre-wedding festivities. They use the most up to date equipment and were discreet in capturing every little moment. My family and friends didn't even realize they were taking video half the time so I know they got all of the candid moments as well.

Cinemacake was amazing and my family and friends can't stop raving about our same day edit film. The film was edited throughout the entire day by their amazing editor, Caleb, and then shown on a big HD screen after we cut the cake. It made the reception so unique and special and one that many will never forget. I watch the video non-stop. It's so good...I can't help it. :)

We look forward to seeing the final film when it's complete. I know there were so many other moments that Dave and his crew captured. This will definitely be something my family and I cherish forever!

Tom, Sheryl, and the entire Cinema Cake team were a true delight to work with. Their responsiveness and eagerness to please was unparalleled, and above that they were just so friendly, accomodating, helpful, and easy going in all correspondence. We hired them to do a Same Day Edit of our NYC wedding, and after giving them some "must get shots" and an example to work from, Cinema Cake ended up giving us a video that was above and beyond any expectation we possibly could have had. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as we all watched at the end of the night. Their crew members are true geniuses, and we had a number of guests approach them for business cards afterwards because they were so impressed with their work. It's been a month and I still watch the video everyday and it brings me right back to that special day in a way that no other videographer could have managed. There is true talent in this company and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them.

CinemaCake was wonderful. Every time I had a moment in my wedding when I thought, "I wish I could get that on tape," I looked-up and CinemaCake was filming it! The team also worked in sync with our amazing photographer, Carly K. Because of the professionalism of the team, our timeline stayed on track. Until your actual wedding day, you have no idea how difficult and important that is. I now understand how some brides are so late for their own weddings.
We did a bridal presentation before the wedding so that we did not keep our guests waiting for the reception to begin. With our impressive photography and videography team, it was easy for us to get great coverage and to get to the church on time!
I am certain that you will love CinemaCake!

Amazing! Hands down the best videographer out there! The Cinemacake team was wonderful to work with from day one. We could not have been happier when we made the decision to hire them. Originally we were on the fence about hiring a videographer and after watching our video we could not have imagined our day without them! They captured so many moments from our day and watching their video allows us to relive each and every one. Our guests from NY to CA said it is the best video they have ever seen! Many people did even realize they were there the day of! I would highly encourage anyone thinking about a videographer to check out Cinemacake and review their work - you will be impressed! We worked with a lot of great vendors for our wedding and CinemaCake was probably one of the more smoother experiences we had. We knew we had to act quickly if we wanted to hire them for their services, but we still shopped around. Like others have said, we always kept coming back to them. Their videos were like no one elses, and that was worth the price for us.

Working with Dave and Sheryl and the CinemaCake staff leading up to the wedding, during the wedding day, and afterwards was a worthwhile journey. With all the couples and groups of people they work with, we always felt like they knew who we were and everything about our wedding and package leading up to it. They were always quick to answer our questions and gave us guidance based on their prior experiences.

Our final production was burned on Blu-ray which was fitting given our wedding was shot in HD. With the way they put their films together, you really feel like you are watching a movie, especially in HD. They asked us to provide them with specific background songs or content we wanted to see in the film and they made it all happen. We could tell they genuinely wanted to make the best film for us which we totally expected having seen so many samples on their site.

I have always believed that you truly "get what you pay for." If you are looking for a lasting memory of your wedding day to compliment your still pictures, you should absolutely consider adding a videographer. If you are looking for the best experience, CinemaCake should be at the top of your list.

Words cannot express how AWESOME our wedding video is... you'll just have to find it on Cinemacake's page to see what I mean. Dave & his crew stiched a story of our day with images including all the little details of our planning and I watch it over and over and over and over!! We've received so many compliments on it too. Dave was a real friend to us throughout the process.

CinemaCake is on a level of it's own. I was convinced I did not need a videographer who would crowd my space with bulky equipment during our big day. After seeing their work and the way in which they conduct business my mind was changed. They are AMAZING. I have received my wedding video and watched it way too many times to count. Everyone who watches it says its brings tears to their eyes. I am so grateful to the memories they have captured that I will be able to hold on to forever.

I've been putting off writing this review because it's hard to find words to describe quite how spectacular CinemaCake is. Here it is: I researched wedding filmmakers from Los Angeles to New York, so I knew before I started working with them that CinemaCake was one of the best in the business -- but they surprised me at every turn with a ridiculously high level of personalized attention, a sincere passion for the work they do, and unmatched professionalism.

We met with Dave and Sheryl Williams at their PA home so they could show us their equipment, and a few of their recent wedding films. My husband was sold on the spot, primarily because of Dave's visible passion for his life's work -- he is the Real Deal. We were lucky that they had our date available -- but they book quickly.

All emails and questions were always responded to within 24 hours, and on the day of our wedding, Dave and his team were stress-free, stealthy, and perfect wedding guests. People told me after the wedding: "the videographers were like ghosts!" They were completely unobtrusive, blended in seamlessly, and got along beautifully with everyone they interacted with -- other vendors, the Union League, the church, our families and friends...

And then, the product.... Dave wanted to skype us when we watched our short film for the first time so he could see our reactions. We were really touched that he cared that much about getting our reactions and talking to us for a while afterwards. The film was perfect beyond words, somehow capturing EVERYTHING that was personally meaningful about our day while still being artistic, impeccably edited, fresh and original.

A lot wedding filmmakers are good -- but there's no other word for it, CinemaCake is MAGICAL. People who don't even know us (random friends of our friends, and friends of our parents) cry when they see our film and feel compelled to write emails gushing about how awesome they think it is.

I can't say enough how much the work they do is WELL WORTH the cost. Once you see their films and work with them, you'll realize that they offer far more quality than other videographers.

Don't waste your time researching other videographers!! These guys are the best of the best.

Booking Cinema Cake was the BEST decision we made, hands down. We knew they were pricey, and tried hard to find a more budget-friendly videographer, but I kept coming back to Cinema Cake because frankly, NOBODY compared. The films they offer are SO unique, that I knew that if I DIDN'T book them, I'd always wonder "what if".

Our experience with Dave and Sheryl has been fantastic. They were just so easy to work with, and on the day of the wedding, we didn't even notice they were there! And talk about going above and beyond - Jimmy even rode in the TRUNK of our SUV to get shots of us taking pictures out around the city!

We had our Coming Soon Trailer just a few days after the wedding, and we just couldn't believe it - how did they manage to perfectly capture all that emotion in just 2 minutes? It made us both cry, and our friends and family have RAVED about it.

I work in the television industry, and so I can be a harsh critic when it comes to video and editing. Well so far, Cinema Cake has blown me away. In fact, even my colleagues have said how SPECTACULAR our Trailer was, and that is HIGH PRAISE.

If you have the chance to book Cinema Cake, DO IT. You will not regret the extra money for one second. We can't WAIT to get our film. What a treasure we will have to share with our children one day. Thank you guys!

i waited till the last minute to book cinema cake because we had a problem with the original videographer that we booked. i've been drooling over their wedding videos since the beginning of my wedding planning process but was unsure if i was able to afford them (they are pricey!!!). i can't even begin to explain how happy i am to have made the investment. dave and sheryl were so flexible and accommodating to my late booking and jordan and john, the cinematographers, were so stealth on the day of. my "coming soon" trailer was finished last week and i still cry every time i watch it. my family and friends are so blown away by the quality of the trailer. a co-worker saw it on facebook and came over to my desk in tears because she thought it was so beautiful! i can't wait to see the final product.

moral of the story: spend the money on a videographer. specifically, THIS videographer. you will not regret it!
