We love Cindie! She was incredibly patient with us as we refined our ceremony script. She is very professional and experienced, while also making the wedding ceremony fun! She was prompt, organized, and thoughtful during our rehearsal and ceremony. Guests told us how much they loved the ceremony and how personal it was. Cindie is definitely well known in the Sacramento wedding scene, as our photographer, DJ, and videographer all knew her from past events. We even had a different officiant we were interviewing say “Cindie is lovely! I would highly recommend Cindie if you don’t go with me.” You are in good hands with Cindie for your event! -

Cindie was an amazing vendor to work with and was recommended by our planner. Since we didn't have a personal friend or family member officiating our wedding, we had some initial apprehension about finding a vendor who could make the ceremony personalized to us as a couple. We really appreciated Cindie's approach to gathering information about our story and the questionnaire she had us initially answer was very helpful in even the creation of our own vows. Cindie was very prompt in giving us a look at the first draft of the ceremony and we loved the direction she went! She followed all of our requests and we were very pleased with how the big day went. Cindie was also very helpful in the administrative side of our marriage license and was super communicative throughout the entire process of what to expect before and after the wedding. We highly recommend Cindie as your wedding officiant! -

From the moment we first reached out, Cindie was a pleasure to work with, and she was possibly the only person within 250 miles willing to go on a 30-40 minute hike with us. However, her kindness, experience, and storytelling ability were the qualities that drew us most. Our cliffside ceremony was very intimate, and so we wanted our vows to be entirely unique to us. Cindie delivered big time with the perfect amount of humor and tender moments woven together with clever quotes from our favorite books and both Christian and Cherokee prayers. The questionnaire we filled out individually prior to Cindie writing the ceremony was very in-depth and fun to fill out, and it helped Cindie get a really good understanding of our relationship and interests. If you ever need an officiant for your elopement or wedding, Cindie is your go to person. As our party was traveling from the east coast, she made the entire process seamless for us. We had an initial intake phone call to make sure that each party was comfortable with each other. The process afterwards was pretty painless, each partner filled out an additional personal questionnaire in which Cindie created a beautiful story to share. For our ceremony, we wanted to be surprised and we could not have asked for anything better. Cindie was able to capture our journey to the elopement and brought many happy memories back for us. She was also very flexible during our last minute changes at Yosemite as we were from out of town and found a better location a day before the event. She also filed for our marriage license immediately as promised. Without any hesitation, if you are looking for someone for your officiant – Cindie is the perfect choice. While putting together our elopement, our photographer recommended a few officiants and Cindie immediately stood out to me. I loved everything about her demeanor on her page, how she really laid out who she is as a person and what she does and stand for. It was so lovely to see such positivity and kindness show through that. It made the choice SUPER easy! She is super kind and a young spirited child at heart. Like myself! So we clicked instantly. Cindie curated a super adorable and funny love story for us on our wedding day that not only made me laugh ( and got awesome photos of it) but made me (and my husband ) cry! ( he rarely cries! lol). Hiring Cindie was the best decision we made for our ceremony!
Cindie is absolutely incredible and we would recommend anyone and everyone to choose her to officiate their wedding! My husband and I started looking for an officiant during COVID as we were planning a small elopement in Yosemite in May 2021. Cindie was the first and only person we talked to. Why? Because as soon as we started talking with her and getting to know her, I looked at my then fiancé and whispered, she is the person! We connected instantly with her and her approach to creating a custom ceremony that was focused on us and our love story. She is easy to talk to, incredible at her craft, and so responsive. Throughout the process, she was always available to answer any questions and/or talk through any thoughts we had. Once we filled out the questionnaires, she drafted a beautiful ceremony that made me cry the first time reading it through. She captured not only the essence of my husband and I as a couple, but told our love story in a beautiful and honest way. She was able to give our guests an insight into our relationship that not everyone sees.
We got married on a Sunday and on the Friday before, we found out that the location we had a permit for in Yosemite was closed! In the mist of all the stress about finding a new location, we let Cindie know and she instantly replied and was ready to perform the ceremony anywhere. With the change in location, Cindie updated our ceremony to incorporate our new location! I remember during our ceremony, thinking she is wonderful for doing this! Seamlessly, making changes to our ceremony to reference the beauty of our new ceremony spot. After the ceremony, all of our guest commented on how beautiful and special the ceremony was and we owe it all to Cindie!

Cindie wrote a beautiful, personalized Ceremony for us. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted in our ceremony. She worked with us to find out details about us and used them in our own personalized ceremony. She was very responsive anytime I reached out with questions. She was very helpful, she helped me stay stress free throughout the whole process. She was very experienced and I did not have to worry about a thing. Everything went smoothly the day of, better than I could have expected. My wedding party was not the easiest to round up and she was patient and understanding throughout. My husband Jeremy and I hired Cindie and she is phenomenal!!! We sent her our love story and the way she meshed it all together made us both cry!! We changed our date at the last minute and she was beyond accomadating!! She even takes the time to ask what she should wear, which is just a thoughtful touch. Very efficient and has a calming energy on a day that can be stressful. We oy did an elopement style wedding due to Covid, so don't have a ton of pictures. Jeremy and I give Cindie 5 stars, but more of we could!!! We're already looking forward to renewing our vows in 10 years so we can rehire her again so all our family and friends can experience her storytelling of us!! -

Cindie was the perfect officiant for our elopement at Yosemite National Park. We clicked with her from the moment we met her (via Zoom), and we liked her energy so much that we decided to hire her for pre-marital coaching as well! This really gave us a chance to get to know Cindie, and vice versa, which made the ceremony feel that much more special, like an old friend was marrying us. Cindie really loves what she does. She has an open mind and a gentle spirit. We felt like she "got" us, and the ceremony she wrote for us was truly perfect. We are so grateful! -

Heartfelt and Resilient
I cannot recommend Cindie enough. As many of the reviews have noted Cindie is so thoughtful and friendly. The ceremony that she prepared for our wedding was as if she had known us for years and touched on many of the most heartfelt moments of our lives together. My wife and I chose Cindie after an EXHAUSTIVE search for an officiant for our Yosemite elopement. I actually found Cindie early on but we wanted to make sure that we explored as many options as possible. However, time and again we both kept coming back to Cindie's website. Reading her retellings of the ceremonies she had officiated showed us the level of thought and care that Cindie puts into her couples, which is really what we were looking for. Cindie set up a Zoom meeting for us and within moments we both knew that Cindie would be a perfect fit. She was kind, caring, and immediately got to the business of knowing us as people. Cindie then sent us this absolutely beautiful ceremony and I more than one time got a little mushy. I know how I interpret my wife's and my relationship, but to see someone else interpret it, after meeting with us for a half hour and reading through the questionnaires we sent her, so thoughtfully and beautifully meant everything to my wife and I. In the weeks leading up to our ceremony wildfires swept through the areas surrounding Yosemite and it was touch and go whether or not we would be able to get married at all. Cindie kept in constant contact with us and when it finally became clear that we could go forward Cindie then had to navigate traffic issues on her route and still managed to get there with time to spare. The ceremony itself was even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and hearing Cindie speak life into the words she had written for us had us laughing and crying as she continued. I will admit that I am a bit of a mush, but Cindie got me on numerous occasions even though I knew the story already, and had read Cindie's draft several times, such was her delivery and the warmth she put into making our story so elegantly spoken. As we were winding down later that night my brand new wife and I spoke effusively about Cindie and the aura and brightness she brought to our day. After the ceremony we spent some time with Cindie and our photographers just chatting as if we hadn't just gotten married. It was as if a long time friend had been driving by and stopped to chat for a bit. We absolutely cannot recommend Cindie enough. The energy, emotion, and brilliance she added to our day was simply wonderful -

I highly recommend Cindie. My wife and I had her marry us on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It was a simple, COVID-era wedding with only 4 other people attending and many of the details were improvised as we went along. Cindie was accommodating and flexible. She wrote a great reading with details of our relationship leading up to the marriage, as well as some very nice inspirational sections that resonated well with our personal beliefs.
She made herself available for online discussion prior to the ceremony, communicated well and was reasonably priced.
Again, I highly recommend her, especially if you are planning a ceremony in nature. -

We had to postpone our big ceremony due to COVID-19, we had a small ceremony instead. Cindie was so helpful and kind along the way. She wrote a micro ceremony for us and was so extremely thoughtful with all the details she put into it. She is great at putting your thoughts and feelings into a beautiful ceremony. My husband and I cannot recommend Cindie enough. Before the wedding, she was a joy to plan with and very responsive to all of my questions. Our wedding took place in Yosemite over Thanksgiving weekend and there was recent snow and slick roads to contend with. She stayed in regular contact with me and made it out to the Valley with plenty of time to spare. We are so appreciative of the long journey she took to get to us during less than perfect weather. We are also super pleased with the service she created for us. It was tailored and unique to us and our story. We hired Cindie to perform our wedding ceremony in Yosemite after reading many of the glowing reviews others had written about her, and from the first conversation with her it was immediately clear why she is so highly rated—she's fabulous! She put together a beautiful and highly personalized ceremony for us, and even though we didn't actually get to meet in person until the morning of our wedding she was so warm throughout the whole process that we felt like we knew her already. She was also really understanding and kind when we had to change our ceremony locations not once but twice (including the day before the ceremony!) because Tioga Pass hadn't reopened in time. Cindie Wilding is everything my husband and I could have hoped for when it came to an officiant. When we started the process of planning our wedding we were really unsure when it came to the ceremony because neither of us are religious or practice any religion. When we came across Cindie we realized we could just tell our love story and Cindie did THE BEST at doing just that.
Meeting her in person was like meeting someone I have known my whole life. She is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She is so organized and communicates with her couples so quickly when we had many questions. She really took her time to get to know us and our story so she could make our ceremony unique to us. She also really took the time to understand the vibe and feeling we were trying to convey to our families and friends at the ceremony. When it came to the ceremony she really got our families laughing and feeling the love of our story. It is clear she takes her time to write a unique ceremony for each of her couples. I am a fellow wedding vendor (photographer) who photographed an elopement that Cindie officiated.
Throughout my career, I have worked alongside 400 or more wedding and event vendors. Most all of them were talented beyond belief. Despite their incredible talent in their industries, I can list on two hands which ones stood out enough that I felt comfortable enough highly recommending to my clients.
From the moment I met Cindie I knew she was one of these select few.

We had an elopement in the El Capitan Meadow and it was the most beautiful thing ever. After contacting her and arranging our day, she reached out via a scheduled phone call to get a little information about ourselves. After that we electronically signed a contract and put our deposit down. She sent out questionnaires to get to know both of us better. From those, she wrote a beautiful and heartwarming ceremony. She sent us the ceremony about a month before our actual elopement day to read over, but we decided to let it be a surprise and we are so glad we did. Her summary of our love story during the ceremony was such a beautiful little surprise and it made for the best responses. It was so cold when we got married but Cindie toughed it out with us and was professional looking even all bundled up. I would absolutely recommend Cindie, she was incredible!!!!

Susan Sent on 01/31/2016If you want a traditional, classic marriage ceremony, with simple vows and a straightforward story, Cindie will do a great job, your friends and families will be impressed, and you will be very happy.
If you want a customized ceremony, a story personalized to you, with someone with a sense of humor and the ability to roll with the punches, and someone who will put together the most memorable event any of your guests can remember, and you don’t have Cindie as your officiant, it better be because she was already booked that day.
We cannot say enough about how great Cindie is. From our first meeting, we were both sure she was the officiant we wanted. The little details she included in our ceremony, drawn from seemingly innocuous questions she had us answer, fit our personalities and our relationship to a T. On a sort of whim, we decided to have a costumed rehearsal. Cindie showed up not just in costume, but as a PIRATE (go FSM!).
It is now two weeks later and we are still hearing about how great the ceremony was, with our music choices, our flower girls, and the rest. But we are getting more comments about how great our officiant was, and where did we find her, and on and on and on than about anything.
Here’s the bottom line: If she’s free for your date, LOCK HER UP. You won’t regret it.
