    Every time I walked in the front door, I got friendly smile or a hug from the front desk girls. They made me excited to go in there and continue my planning. I was never stressed thanks to their pep talks. Emily was an amazing planner. I was always looked forward to meeting with her and going over details. I felt like I was going to meet with her for lunch. I could vent to her, express my concerns, or event share a laugh with her over details of my wedding.

    I didn't have a chance to eat my dinner due to saying hello to all my guests, the banquet manager offered to have the kitchen staff make me whatever I wanted. The manager kept checking in to make sure we were happy and were having a great time. Emily was absolutely amazing. She did such an amazing job. I actually changed my venue to the Marriott five months before the wedding after already having a different venue for a year. I am absolutely happy I did. I felt like Emily understood everything I wanted and could see my vision.

    After the whole wedding was over, my husband and I went back to our suite. It was decorated beautifully and had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. The only that truly sticks out to me is the present that Emily left for us. There was a beautiful key hanger with a beautiful saying, but even more than that, there was a statue of two elephants kissing with their trunks forming a heart. I had mentioned months ago how much we loved elephants and the fact that Emily remembered that and bought us that beautiful gift was incredible to me. That is truly a special person to remember such a special detail about a client. From the front desk ladies who I absolutely loved seeing every time I would come in, to Emily while was my angel sent to help me plan the biggest day of mine and my husbands lives, to the wedding staff, everybody was amazing. Thank you to everyone for making our day extremely special!

    When looking for a wedding venue, it was very important to me to find a place where we could have the ceremony and reception. A place that would do the catering, decorating, set up and clean up. As stressful as planning a wedding is, I knew having a venue that would take care of these things would help to alleviate some of that stress. Not only did the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast offer all of these things, but by having my event there, we also got one of their certified wedding planners, Jessica Lewis, as well. Jessica was FANTASTIC!!!! She really paid attention to every detail and went above and beyond to insure that I was happy and our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of. Not only was it great to find a venue that took care of so many of the details, but being a hotel, they also had the rooms for our guests to stay in and gave us discounted rates as well. Having so many out of town guests, and also a Valentine's Day wedding, knowing our guests were able to stay there and make their evening that much more enjoyable was just another benefit. The entire staff was amazing! They were so helpful, friendly, professional, and really made our guests feel taken care of. The food was incredible!!!! Of course at our initial tasting it was delicious, but I think it was just as good if not better at the wedding, and they were preparing for 150+ people! I cannot speak highly enough about our planner, Jessica! She definitely went out of her way to make sure everything was absolutely perfect! My husband and I heard from so many people that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Jessica, and the entire staff of the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast play a huge part in that! I highly recommend the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast for your wedding or any other event you may be planning!

    They were flawless on the day of the wedding and managed all of the details! Chris Stone, the events and catering manager, worked over time to make sure we had the best evening, and were not stressed.

    PERFECT place for a reception. You get so much more here for your money than anywhere else in the Cincinnati area. The food was AMAZING! I worked with Megan throughout the process and everything on my wedding day was absolutely perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing. They made everything so easy and stress-free. I would recommend any event at this hotel. The staff all around was the best I have ever encountered. LOVED IT ALL!!!

    I worked with Tessie and Kelly on my wedding, and they did an absolutely amazing job with their team! Everything was on time, and the food tasted great. We were having a traditional Muslim wedding, so we needed the food to be catered to our Indo-Pak guests, and Tessie went out of her way to ensure that the food was exactly what we wanted. The reception site is really beautiful and a great place to have a sophisticated event, I highly recommend it!

    I used the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast for my rehearsal dinner and reception. I must say, they were amazing. They were the nicest people I have ever worked with. They made sure everything we needed or wanted came together. Planning the rehearsal was challenging since my husbands father and stepmother were paying for it. We were planning a very formal wedding and they felt that a simple picnic style rehearsal would be suitable. They were planning on my mother and my mother-in-law setting up and cleaning up the event the night before our wedding. We felt that it was unfair to the mothers to have to work an event that they should be enjoying. We pushed for the rehearsal to be at the Marriott. We have a unique enterance into the ballroom and we wanted to practice it, which became the single point in which we were able to talk his father into using the marriott. The Marriott staff was very understanding and helpful. They new what kind of event we wanted and strived to fit our wants into his father's budget. It came off better than we imagined. Our reception was flawless! we had a private cocktail party for the bridal party and another for our guests. It was nice to have time to relax before being tossed into a crowed of 250 people. They never rushed us. They made sure we were comfortable with everything before they moved on. The staff did a great job getting dinner served to eveyone. It came out quickly and was fantastic. They gave us lots of choices in our menu. They asked made a kids meal since we were going to have several younger kids at our reception. I can't say enough about the staff. They were excellent! Nothing was overlooked, and they made sure every detail we envisioned came to life! We also used the Marriott for the bridal party to stay over night after the rehearsal dinner. We used a suit for getting ready the morning or the wedding. We also stayed in a suit for our wedding night. There suits are amazing! They are the size of an apartment and are so comfortable!

    We had a wonderful ceremony and reception our event planner was great she was always responsive when needed and thought of everything. Nice suite and had family stay in town for the weekend everyone was very pleased.

    Great service- everything went as planned, and the food was delicious! No problems with finding a date, or with their wedding professionals assisting me in every detail! Would definitely recommend the Mason Marriott!

    Brides Beware

    Don’t try to book a wedding here and expect anyone to think the day is as important as you think it is! Our request was handled completely unprofessionally by their catering manager Angela, who is “on call” which apparently excuses her from answering emails for 4+ days after you’ve told her that booking your event is time sensitive and the explanation you’re given from the director of sales Vicky is that Angela is on call and it’s hard for her to juggle work and personal plans/life, I’m assuming this means because she doesn’t have an actual schedule right now? So what? Answer your email at least. Then when she finally has the time in her super busy schedule to call you back she gets annoyed that you’ve kept her on the phone for an hour going over all details of your event. Then sends you a contract that does not outline what you’ve discussed and has the incorrect date for your event so when you ask for a more detailed one you get even more attitude. At this point you’re beyond mad and it’s been 4-5 days since you met in person and you need to lock this in (again, time sensitive). So you send an email again that night, this time you try to add the GM on it because he should be aware and maybe can help get things moving in the right direction. But no, you’re met with crickets again the next day and unanswered phone calls. Until finally the director of sales sends you an extremely unprofessional email full of inaccurate information and lies, let’s you know that they will not be working with you and your “hold” on your event has been released! So if you plan to have a wedding here just don’t ask too many questions or for them to give you a contract with specifics or you may be told they won’t hold your event anymore. I’ve worked in hospitality for many years and I have never seen anything be handled this way. And this is especially not the service I would expect from the Marriott. Basically the employees at this hotel (Vicky & Angela) could care less about your or your special day, especially if it interferes with their personal plans. And the General Manager, Mike Hogan, is no better considering he couldn’t even be bothered to be professional enough to return a phone call and he also allows his employees to slack off and treat potential customers this way. This was going to be a rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, and guest rooms. It’s not like it was just some little reception. We planned to spend quite a bit of money on this event and they just threw it away. Unbelievable. Brides and grooms beware!
