We trusted Antonio with our wedding, and he is an exceptional artist. He was so good even with his communication from day one. He captured so many details of our wedding that we will cherish forever. He has the latest high-tech equipment as well. He coached us through our photos, and if you listen to him, he will deliver amazing photos and video. Our wedding was a challenge for him as it was outdoors and the weather was wild with rain, wind, hail, and sunshine all in a few hours. It was stressful for us getting married under those conditions, and stress can be contagious. Most people would not have kept their composure under those circumstances, but Antonio was cool and calm under the pressure. He even got us the final photos and videos mucb sooner than promised. If you can get him to photograph your wedding, book him now. It is so hard to find an artist like this with such a great attitude.Cidade Visual Arts's reply:

I can't say enough great things about Antonio. We had him do our engagement photos first to see how we liked his work. We LOVED it! He did not let us down on our wedding day. He did both photography and video. The video is breath taking! If you want amazing footage of your special day, hands down, Cidade Visual Arts is the way to go.Cidade Visual Arts's reply:

Great communication throughout the entire process. Antonio is very organized & still flexible. Dealing with Antonio was the easiest part of the wedding! Haven't seen the photos yet but he showed us on his camera as he was taking them & I'm certain they will be amazing!! Headed it fun. The pricing is very fair & competitive but I think in the end it was a great experience & priceless.Cidade Visual Arts's reply:

You will be astounded
When we were looking for photographers we checked a ton of sites and finally settled on
Cidade Visual Arts based on the work we saw on the website. I am so happy we did. Not only was Tonio prompt and professional, but the photos and videos were absolutely STUNNING! I can’t praise him enough for all his hard work. 10/10 would recommend!Cidade Visual Arts's reply:

We are so happy with Cidade Visual Arts. He captured our first family photos with our new baby. His attention to detail, professionalism, and quick turn around really impressed us. The entire experience was amazing. Tony was able to capture the special moments of our wedding. He possesses an uncanny knack for being at the right place at the right time for some amazing memories. He listened carefully and was attentive to our desires and plans. He even made my 11 month old niece stop crying for a precious smile. He was timely, focused, and polite.

My family and I could not be happier about the photo shoot session we had with Antonio. He was patient with my daughter, knowledgeable with his craft, accommodating and I must say even funny. Antonio has a great personality, he is very talented and provided a great service. This has created a nice and beautiful atmosphere all throughout this afternoon of picture taking. We had a fun time. My family family enjoyed it a lot and we will repeat. The guy is professional beyond my best expectations. We were super stoked and pleasantly surprised by the end result. The pictures were mesmerizing. We love them so much that my wife was quick to display them on one our living room walls.

Antonio was absolutely amazing! Brides and grooms seriously look no further! Antonio was so accommodating and easy to work with! I found him services at a wedding show in Phoenix and was immediately in impressed with his pictures and photography style. His style is so unique and natural, when you look through his portfolio you will see a variety of settings and events but one thing is common across the board, he captures the true feeling and emotion of each evvent. Antonio captured our wedding and really put us at ease throughout the whole process. From our first meeting to currently he is quick with his responses and very thorough. His professionalism made me feel that I made even better choice for our wedding as he went through the whole schedule and knows what brides are going through and really caters to that! Antonio is extremely patient and calming disposititon which made everything with him so stress free. He was super organized which I LOVED and really knows what he is doing. It was so helpful for us to do an engagement session with him-which was included with our package-for him to get to know us and us to better know him as a photographer. Our engagement pictures came out perfect and they were so fun to do and Antonio had so many amazing ideas for the pictures. For our wedding I seriously was soooo happy we went with him because he captured the day beautifully, but during the ceremony and reception, he was out of the way and let people really enjoy the day, but he still captured the day great! He has so many amazing and unique ideas for the photos of just my wife and I and they are absolutely breathtaking. I am so serious when I say look no further! Antonio is amaaaazing! We are very happy with Tonino's work, he was very professional. He helped us immensely, suggesting poses, colors and scene location that best suited our look as a couple. He got back to us the following day with the edited pictures and we love them. I would say the quality of his work is excellent and I should mention the attention to detail. Do not hire!
**Do the research on the 5 star reviews. Most occur after my 1 star and are associated with Antonio. One even states he is a single dad on social media**
If you are thinking about hiring Antonio for your wedding, DON’T. Please save yourself from him ruining your wedding and not having photos of the most basic wedding photos ANY photographer should take and provide to their client- nor provide you with any of your MUST HAVE photos. This is even with hiring TWO photographers, and he brought an “assistant,” which was his girlfriend. Want pictures of the father daughter dance? Want pics of the mother son dance? Wedding party entrances? Maid of Honor Speech? Pictures of your husband and his family? If you do…. Go with someone else!!
Here is a recap, all of which is based on facts of my wedding on 11/7.
Prior to wedding:
Our wedding was in AZ (we live in a different state). My FH and I flew in a month prior to meet with our vendors. We were scheduled to meet Antonio at the hotel where the venue was going to be, at 11am. I communicated that I had a flight to catch that day so it was important he be on time. At 11:38, I had to message him and ask where he was at. He did not even let me know he was running late, zero communication. He arrived at NOON, and needless to say I was not happy. That should have been my first clue that he would cause me the most stress on my wedding day. In addition prior to my wedding, he emailed my other vendors at 2:30 AM at one point and asked questions that I already provided him the answers for. I feel that as a professional, you should not be emailing others at that time and should be during business hours. In all honesty though, that was minor compared to everything else.
The day of the wedding:
Although we went over the plans a couple of times in person and via zoom, nothing went accordingly! We planned to do photos after the ceremony and prior to the reception (which is normal), a large group one and then go to places we scoped out on our prior visit I mentioned above, but he was nowhere to be found!! The second photographer had to jump in and start taking photos while she tried reaching him. Keep in mind we are at a gorgeous property with mountains and I am now taking photos by trees and the parking lot. He finally came out and we had to race around to try to capture photos while the sun was going down and lighting getting poorer. We only had 20 minutes, when an hour was planned. Granted, the ceremony started 15 minutes later, but we still should have had plenty of time for photos and especially the 5 must have photos (that is NOT a lot)! He had 7 hours to capture the must have photos (could have at any point and not just during group photos) and never once let me know he did not take them, nor ask for time to take them. I CANNOT even begin to express my dissatisfaction. The other vendors came up to me and continually asked where I found him as he was not doing what he needed to be doing. At one point he turned the lights on during the reception for better lighting and my guests thought the reception was ending and started leaving. The DJ informed me of this and I had to step in and tell them they only get 2 minutes. There was a lot of standing around and disappearing. I had to pull him aside and I expressed my dissatisfaction as he was not doing anything we discussed, but he assured me he captured everything I wanted- LIES!
Post Wedding:
During editing, he did send me an email saying I would get a sneak peek in a few days (at the two week mark) and I waited and waited…. I stumbled across one of our pictures on social media! As a professional and his client, I would expect I would get to see a photo FIRST or even maybe a heads up he posted one?!?! Nothing. A couple days later I finally got a sneak peek. Now for the final product… I only had a short list of must haves- I did not get any of them! Again- this is paying for TWO photographers! When I reached out and asked, he blamed me because the ceremony started late. Again- you have 7 hours to get the 5 must haves at any point!! Now for the basic pics I feel every wedding photographer should capture and provide- We did not get ONE picture of my husband and his family!! NOT ONE!!! NO picture of our father daughter dance, no picture of mom and son dance, no picture of MOH giving speech, the two couples of the wedding party entering into the reception were blurry and unacceptable (I attached- this is his final product!)- did not even get each wedding party couple. He blamed me because he did not have time to set up- which was to happen BEFORE the wedding as documented- again doesn’t make any sense given I have some photos before and after these one time wedding events- but ok! Also, there were two of the same clip included in the video. These are all facts and documented. When I reached out, he indicated it is the final product and would not even give us other pictures we know were taken that were important, such as my mother in law holding grandma’s veil- would not provide any additional photos that were taken.
All the above are facts and documented.
I can go on and on about all of the issues, but hopefully this gives you some insight and you book with someone else. If you truly want to capture your wedding day- and you want to ENJOY your wedding day WITHOUT stress… GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! Also, be careful of the other good reviews, as I noticed he had his girlfriend provide a 5 star review on the sites.Cidade Visual Arts's reply:
