Chrys was more than my hair and make up artist that day. She was my fairy glam mother! She stayed with me all day for touch ups (which my now husband really enjoyed receiving too). She would run over in-between a photo and fix a strand of hair, blotting some sweat, the little things that made my wedding photos truly perfect. There is nothing worse than looking back and wondering why did no one fix that piece!
When she wasn't perfecting my look, she was an absolute angel and was helping me walk around with my extra long train and giving me pep talks. When we arrived at the church it all hit me, that the big day was here and I was about to walk down the aisle, she knew exactly what to do and calmed me down while holding a fan to my face for my make up to stay put from tears. She is truly the kindest and most genuine person. I was so lucky to have her with me during that moment! Now... for why you're reading this review, the hair and make up skill. 5 stars!!! Chrys is beyond talented! I loved her work in Instagram and reached out. The truth is, you never know what you're booking in the wedding planning phase. I saw she had an amazing portfolio and was reliable. I can say booking with Chrys was the best wedding planning decision I made! NO NOTES! I'm whole heartedly in love with my look and how it all came out in photos. She took the direction and feedback from the trial and perfected it on my wedding day, I was blown away! I seriously think she was reading my mind! lol. She hit every single detail, she helped mix what I wanted and what would last on a hot June summer day with ease. I felt like a princess!
Chrys also did my mother’s hair and make up. She's never had it professionally done and is very picky. My mom is OBESSESSED with Chrys and her work. She also said it was the best wedding planning decision I made. After it was all over, we agreed it was so important to have someone who was full of positive and calming energy as you're anxious sitting in the chair all morning. She was exactly what everyone needs on their wedding day. A true full package, a fairy glam mother! XOXOX -

Book her shes amazing
I booked her in the first email. I saw her work on instagram and that she did my kind of full glam and knew I needed her! Luckily she wasn’t booked my day and then she added on that she has a hair team and I booked them with her! They were absolutely fantastic! She listened and did such a thorough consultation before our trial and the trial was PERFECT, but when she came on my wedding day she said I kept looking at the pictures and I can make your eyes look bigger with changing your wing a little (I’m a wing girlie) and I didn’t think it could get better but it did!!! She truly studied my look and made me feel so cared about!! We ran EARLY even with 15 girls getting ready and every single one of them looked just as good!! My makeup and hair didn’t budge, and by that I mean I legit passed out in it after going first in her chair at 7 am and woke up, wore it till about 3 pm the next day when I finally showered to go to sleep. If you’re like me and looked into 30+ makeup artists and are considering Chrys and her team end your search here!!!

I can’t recommend Chrys enough!!!! I hardly wear make up and she made me feel like a queen on my bridal shower and my wedding. She is fun, calming and energetic all at the same time. I feel so lucky to have had Chrys and Heydi by my side on my wedding day — not only are they incredibly talented at what they do, but they are also the kindest, most calming presence to have around during such an emotional and exciting morning. From the trial to the wedding day, Chrys made me feel completely seen. She listened carefully to what I envisioned — something timeless, with lots of blush and a FULL GLAM — and then brought it to life even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she knows exactly how to enhance natural beauty while still making you feel 100% like yourself. My makeup lasted all day and night, through happy tears and nonstop dancing, and I never once needed a touch-up. Heydi worked absolute magic with my hair. I had a vision for a style that was elegant, soft, and romantic — and she delivered it perfectly. She has such a gentle and confident way of working, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. My hair held beautifully all day, even through all the hugs, photos, and twirls on the dance floor. She also styled my bridesmaids, and every single one of them looked stunning. But beyond their obvious talent, what really set Chrys and Heydi apart was their energy. They brought such warmth, professionalism, and calm joy to the morning — it honestly felt like getting ready with friends who just happen to be incredible at glam. They helped set the tone for one of the best days of my life, and I will always be grateful to them for that. Chrys Coles Makeup was absolutely incredible to work with for my wedding! From the very beginning, Chrys took the time to listen to what I envisioned and made sure every detail was just right. She is meticulous, professional, and uses high-quality products that truly make a difference. After my trial, she made thoughtful adjustments so that everything felt perfectly “me” on the big day.
What really impressed me was how natural everything looked and felt—my skin looked like skin, the lashes were so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them, and the glam lasted all day without ever looking heavy or fake. I felt confident, radiant, and completely myself.
Beyond her artistry, Chrys was such a calming and reassuring presence—the exact kind of person you want around on the morning of your wedding. She brought such peace and confidence to the getting-ready process.
Her entire team was also amazing! From the flower girls to the mothers, they made everyone in our wedding party look and feel their absolute best. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and kind—bringing such a calm and joyful energy to the morning.

Dream come true
Choosing Chrys Coles Makeup for our wedding was one did the best decisions I could have made! Chrys and her team brought my vision to life! My hair and makeup turned out exactly as I had always envisioned. They seamlessly handled numerous types of hair and makeup styles for all 12 people with ease and were an absolute pleasure to interact with. They were so easy to interact with and the perfect personalities to calm any pre-ceremony nerves! They were prompt, efficient, professional, skilled, and warm hearted! This is by far the best experience I have had in working with a hair and makeup artist. Not only are they extremely skilled, they also are good at checking in throughout to make sure things are how you envisioned. They also went above and beyond and came with me (out of the goodness of their hearts) to the wedding venue to help with ensuring the hair/makeup looked just perfect for the pictures! I would highly recommend working with them I and am forever grateful to them! -

I had the absolute best experience with Chrys and her team for my wedding day! She was so friendly, professional, and right on time—exactly what you need on such an important (and hectic) day. Her whole team was amazing to work with and made the getting-ready process so fun and relaxed. My hair and makeup stayed flawless literally all day and night—and it was a long day! Chrys is supremely talented! She did my makeup for my wedding and let me tell you, it did not budge at all! It lasted all night! She really listens to what type of makeup you want. Some people in my bridal party wanted really light and natural and she was able to easily deliver that and they were so happy. I wanted more elevated and she did a fantastic job. The range of makeup she can do is unreal! Her professionalism is unmatched and she truly cares about her brides. Don’t hesitate on Chrys as one of your vendors , she is amazing!!!! -

Chrys was incredible from the start. I booked her about a year and a half out from my wedding. Throughout the planning process she was great with communication and helping me plan for the big day. I had such a great time meeting her at the trial. She really took her time to go through my preferences and recommendations for me to look my best on the day of, including recs for tans, facial treatments, and more. When it came time for my wedding, she arrived early and was INCREDIBLE (along with her assistant). We had 10 ladies getting makeup by Chrys and her 2nd artist, and everything ran smoothly. My mom and grandma were blown away by her and how comfortable she made them while in her chair. When it came time for my makeup, I made a few changes from my trial, and Chrys knew right away what I was referring to and adjusted everything accordingly. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better MUA - she's someone who deeply cares about her craft and your getting ready experience for your wedding. If you're a full glam girl in NJ, I highly recommend Chrys and her team. You and your girls will feel pampered, relaxed, and beautiful for your big day! -

1000/10!! The only makeup and hair artist to consider for your special day!!! Chrys and her beauty team did 11 people’s hair/makeup for my wedding day! All my girls were absolutely thrilled with the hair and makeup completed! Best they have seen at any wedding!
The team did amazing on my 85 year old grandmother and my mother! No caking, they looked much younger and absolutely loved the staff!
All the hair/makeup artists were early and made the day a blast! The timeline provided was followed and the day flowed with ease!
Chyrs did my hair and makeup (bridal) which WOW WOW WOW!!! I was in shock!!! It stayed all night long and was everything I wanted (AND THEN SOME)!
I can’t recommend Chrys enough! She is a kind person who made me feel so beautiful in my own skin and with the makeup haha! She is a pleasure and affordable!

I’m giving 5 stars but I would give 500 if I could ! I cannot ever thank Chrys enough for going above and beyond to not only make me feel beautiful on my wedding day, but to also help calm any nerves immediately! I had canceled my previous contract with another makeup artist about 4 months before my wedding, that’s when I found Chrys and immediately knew I was in great hands, during my trial she was so sweet, even allowing me to try out two different eye looks! Fast forward to my wedding day and I still had not decided on which I wanted, since I loved both! Before I could even say what I was thinking , Chrys immediately suggested that we do a little more glam than my trial, all while also naming the changes I too was thinking about doing to make my bridal look complete. I trusted Chrys 1000% to achieve the look of my dreams and she not only did that, but exceeded anything I could even imagine! I did not once look in the mirror during my makeup , knowing Chrys knew exactly what I was going for. My husband told me that was the best he has ever seen my makeup look, and how beautiful it was! Aside from being beautiful, it lasted the entire night into the morning. I had Chrys stay a few extra hours for touchups , and I believe she only had to touch up my lipstick from taking photos and kissing! She also held my flowers, tidied up my hair from the blowing wind, and held down my veil! She is a true angel and I could not have made a better decision for my wedding makeup! Chrys has been doing my makeup for special occasions for years now, so when I got engaged I knew she was right for me and my family!
Communication during the planning period was great and fast.
Chrys is calm and sweet and sooooo professional! She uses only the best products on the market and my makeup never budged. It was flawless all night!
Heydi did my hair and she is absolutely amazing. A doll! She turned my dream hair into reality and I can’t stop thinking about it!

Fairytale Wedding
Finding the perfect makeup artist for my wedding day seemed like an impossible task. That is, until I came across Chrys' website and Instagram. I was amazed at all the beautiful work that was displayed on her website, and knew she was the one.
Chrys was extremely sweet and had full open communication with me throughout the five months prior to my wedding. She listened intently to my vision, understood exactly the look I was going for, and offered fantastic suggestions to enhance it. Chrys did both my makeup and hair for my wedding and I could not have felt more beautiful! As someone who doesn’t normally wear lot of makeup, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the look. She also did EXACTLY what I asked for. She is an amazing and trustworthy artist and she also has such a fun personality and made me laugh a ton! She didn’t leave until I felt flawless and even gave me the cutest touch up kit. Chrys and her team did all my bridesmaids hair and make up, as well as my mom and mother in law. Everyone looked absolutely perfect!!! You should not hesitate to book her! -

Chrys did my makeup for my wedding and I could NOT be more impressed with how everything turned out! We had a trial several weeks before the wedding where she spent hours making sure we perfected the look I wanted. She truly is one of the few make up artists who really cares about her clients. I am very picky with makeup and typically don't enjoy getting it professionally done, but I could not have asked for a more flawless result.
I had Chrys stay all day for touch ups, but did not realize that meant she would follow me to each and every location for my first look photos for crying touchups, repinning my dupatta for me, and also was right next to me until I walked down the aisle! After my ceremony was over, she enhanced my makeup for the reception with a smokier eye and darker lips. Everything was STUNNING and lasted the entire night!
Chrys made me feel so comfortable the morning of my wedding and was so bubbly and fun to be around! She also did the makeup of my family members who were so impressed. I cried when I saw my mom because she never wears makeup and Chrys made hers look so natural and beautiful!
Seriously 10/10 service, kindness, and talent! I will definitely be hiring Chrys for any future events. -

Literally do not even bother looking anywhere else Chrys is AMAZING!!!! I ended up finding her after a couple bad hair/makeup trials for my wedding and I am SO blessed that I did!!! I absolutely loved my trial with her for my wedding but on my wedding day she BLEW me away!!! Chrys is both a make up magician & an angel
Where to begin!! I found Chrys while on my shift at sephora one day when one of her clients came in looking for a touch up gloss for the night. Her make up was so beautiful I just needed to know who did it!! Chrys has done my make up now for my engagement party, my wedding day, birthdays and "just cause". She is a literal artist and the sweetest most hard working woman. She truly listens to what you want your look to be and knows how to make a lot of make up feel totally weightless on the skin! On my wedding day my make up did not budge from 8am when she put it on til 1 am when I sadly had to wash it off. Even when I was showing people photos of the wedding day the first thing everyone was telling me was omg your make up looks phenomenal/beautiful/gorgeous etc and asking me who had done it! I highly highly recommend Chrys to any bride who takes their glam seriously & wants a luxurious bridal make up experience. She has not only become one of my wedding vendors but a dear friend! -

Chrys - More Than a Make-Up Artist
Chrys is not only an amazing and talented make-up artist, but she was a major support for me on the day of my wedding.
I am someone who was not used to wearing a lot of make-up. I wanted to look stunning and glamorous for my wedding day, but I also wanted to look like ME. I did two trials with Chrys where we worked through issues with my VERY dry skin. I felt comfortable enough with Chrys to express all of my concerns, and she was patient enough to talk me through every product and stroke of each brush on my face.
In the end Chrys came to my wedding with an assistant who was almost as good as she was (because she is the BEST). Not only did I look and feel STUNNING, so did everyone in my wedding party, including my sister who is VERY picky!
We had Chrys stay all the way until the reception. Chrys was there to touch up our make-up, but she did SO much more than that. She was a calming presence on a stressful day, she was there for me when I was anxious, or when no one was listening to me. She made sure I was hydrated, water ready at all times. She make sure I ate, lipstick in hand ready to touch up. She helped the photographer with some amazing veil-lifting shots. She even touched up my hair!
I don’t know what I would have done without Chrys there on my wedding day and I am so happy I made the decision to choose her! I would recommend her HIGHLY!!! Thank you Chrys! -

CHRYS IS THE BEST!!! From the beginning she was so responsive and patient with me as I have a hard time making decisions for everything. Once I was ready to book she guided me through what to expect. Where do I even begin?! Chrys was one of the first wedding vendors I booked and my best decision ever. From my first trial with Chrys, I knew she was the makeup artist I have always dreamed of for my big day! I left the trial feeling so beautiful and that I had just made a new friend in Chrys. That night, my car broke down in the pouring rain and while waiting for the tow truck, my makeup was put to test and lasted through tears and rain! I had been to Chrys a few times in between the trial and wedding day for engagement photos and friends' weddings because I was constantly looking for excuses to have my makeup done by Chrys to feel my best! Fast forward to my wedding day and Chrys made me feel absolutely beautiful. The makeup was everything my glam girl heart desired for the biggest day of my life. I truly felt like a beauty queen. I also had a beach wedding and it was a HOT day about 90 degrees, and my makeup stayed on until the next morning! It looked flawless all night. My bridesmaids were all so happy with their makeup as well and told me over and over again how it was their favorite makeup they had gotten done as a bridesmaid. Besides being an incredible makeup artist, Chrys's personality is one of a kind. She truly makes you feel so comfortable and quickly becomes a friend. She made me feel so calm and confident on my wedding day and stayed around to take pictures, videos and be my hype woman while getting ready! The most beautiful wedding makeup I’ve seen!
I had never had professional makeup done so I was deeply researching makeup artists to find the right one for me! When I came across Chrys, she was the only makeup artist who was so talented but still so kind, not greedy about pricing at all, easy to communicate with, reliable, and I knew I had to book a trial with her asap! Every other artist just threw pricing and minimums but Chrys came to do makeup for myself, my mom, and my maid of honor and she did a beautiful job. I felt so beautiful. She even left me with ways to touch up my makeup throughout the night, although it didn’t even need to be! I have oily skin in some areas and you really couldn’t tell.. it was a hot humid day in august and that makeup did not budge! Haha This is where it gets better, though. She stayed to see me fully dressed in my gown and took some photos to share with me later that made my entire day. Her heart shows through her work and I’m so glad that I trusted my instincts to reach out to her and use her services! An amazing person on top of being a talented makeup artist. Chrys is an incredibly talented make up artist, she goes above and beyond what I've seen any other make up artist or vendor do. For my bridal trial we tested different foundations and what looked best on my skin type, she even took notes on my specific appt! She truly cares about her work and it shows. I felt beautiful on my wedding day, and like I was in good hands. She gave me the exact look I was going for. She stayed for my first look and right before I walked down the aisle, going as far as to fix my hair, fix my train, and carry my flowers at some points!! Like I said above and beyond, she was so attentive even my photographer and videographer commented on how thoughtful she was! Chrys made sure I looked good for every picture, checking on my make up between each shot. I felt like I had a sister there taking care of me, and not just my make up artist. Chrys was the best! I booked with her just a month before my wedding (completely short notice on my end). I didn't have time to do any sort of trial, but I went with my gut. She was extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. It was only my second time getting professional makeup done in my life, and I had no idea what I wanted to do. I let Chrys do her work with just one inspo photo from her Instagram page and she knocked it out of the park. I did not modify her work once because it was perfect to me the very first time. The makeup looked and felt smooth with no cakeyness and lasted the entire night. She also did Hollywood waves on my hair. I did not get extensions though it is recommended for that hairstyle. I do not regret that decision because I thought it looked incredible. She did a great job getting that same wave effect without the extensions. My hair never once moved even during a windy/damp April day of taking photos outside. -

Chrys Coles had the best make up pictures on Instagram when I was searching for bridal beauty for my wedding. I had looked at so many but I had no doubts when I saw her work, I even didn’t need a trial.
I have no words to describe how amazing her work is, the makeup was FLAWLESS. I have never seen anyone’s work as perfect as hers. She does not apply too much make up, we still have a natural look but the transformation is huge. She knows how to play with the colors, highlights and foundations. She does a very good contour on our face. I looked like a doll, it was definitely my princess day!
She also works very well with other vendors, the photographers arrived and she was still finishing our make-ups, everything was in tune. She did the touch-up and the photographers had the opportunity to take pictures of this moment.
Also, she only uses very good brands of make-up, expensive and high quality products. -

Above and beyond!
Chrys did an incredible job on my makeup for my wedding! We had a consultation prior to where she addressed all of my skin concerns (I get rosacea and some skin allergies) and and went over what kind of look I wanted for the wedding, and I knew she was who I wanted for my wedding. The day of my wedding she put all of her focus on making me gorgeous, I ended up crying a bit, I don’t think I had ever felt so beautiful. Chrystiane is absolutely AMAZING! I needed a makeup artist in a pinch due to covid postponing my wedding and she did EVERYTHING! She did my makeup and hair for my small civil ceremony. I looked completely flawless. Not to mention just how kind she is. I asked for more of a natural look, but also had some blemishes due to acne that needed to be covered and when she was finished my skin looked completely transformed! Also, it was brutally hot and my makeup lasted from 7am until I removed it at 1am. Definitely use Chrystiane for any special occasion or even when you just want to look beautiful! -
