Christy has been doing corporate events for my company for 10 years. She NEVER disappoints! I am in awe of her talent and ability to take a vision and make it a reality. Her attention to details is over the top. I attended a wedding this past weekend of a coworker and I do believe that it is the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. Wedding Angel
If I could give more than five stars, I would! Our wedding day was an absolute dream, all thanks to the incredible expertise and attention to detail of our wedding planner. From the moment we began working with her, we knew we were in good hands. She thought of every little detail, from the big picture down to the smallest touches, ensuring that our day was not only flawless but also uniquely reflective of us as a couple.
Her organization and professionalism were truly unmatched. She seamlessly coordinated every aspect of the day, from vendor management to timeline execution, allowing us to relax and truly be present in the moment. Her creativity and vision brought our ideas to life in ways we never could have imagined, and her calm and reassuring presence throughout the planning process was invaluable.
What truly sets her apart, however, is her genuine care and dedication to her clients. She took the time to understand our vision, preferences, and priorities, and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations at every turn. She anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them, ensuring that every moment was filled with joy and meaning.

Best. Wedding. Planner. EVER.
My daughter's wedding was everything she dreamed it would be, and that was only possible through the partnership with Christy Loftin as our wedding planner. I had worked with Christy on Corporate events (which she is awesome at as well), but with the wedding I saw her operate on a whole new level. Once my daughter shared her vision for what she wanted we never had to worry about another thing - Christy just made it happen. She worked well with the wedding coordinator on location for our venue, she was in constant contact with our vendors to make sure what they said they could do was happening, and she was a constant source of comfort for me as mother-of-the-bride, as well as the bride herself. I would have given her more stars if that were possible in my rating be she is definitely someone I would recommend.Christy Loftin's reply:

My husband and I hired Christy to be our officiant for our wedding on 12/4/21. Christy was so helpful and had great communication throughout the entire process. Christy created a beautiful ceremony and incorporated things we talked to her together, as well as individually. She was on time and led the rehearsal and was a joy to have as our officiant. I contacted Christy Loftin 2 weeks before our daughter’s wedding, which was Memorial Day Weekend 2021, asked if she could help us out, as we had a wedding ceremony director and a coordinator in place, but they were stretched to the max, had we had several different venue locations that required another set of hands and assistance….As they say… to pull off a fabulous wedding weekend, it takes a village. Christy changed her Memorial Day weekend plans, and travelled 6 hours, came in at the last minute and handled things from the moment she arrived in town as if she’d been coordinating the wedding planning With us from the start!! She was fabulous!! Everyone adored her!! Christy was absolutely AMAZING!! Having her there, took the stress off so that we were able to enjoy our daughters wedding weekend and have great memories to cherish forever!! We highly recommend Christy Loftin!!! We had the pleasure of working with Christy for our wedding on May 15, 2021. From start to finish we were blown away by the quality of support Christy was able to provide us for our special day. We did our our entire event at Society Hall which required the ceremony space to be flipped halfway through into the reception location. Christy knocked it out of the park and exceeded all our our expectations. I simply cannot put into words how fabulous Christy was. I'd choose her 100 times over. She is brilliant. She is caring. You will feel like you've known her for a lifetime. She listens and really hears your story, then can somehow put it into the most eloquent of words - on the very first try. How?! We took out our own written vows because there was no way it'd get better.
The officiant hurdle was my toughest feat coming from a very religious family, but choosing Christy was the best decision - truly - we could have made. Of course I'm biased, but hearing time and time again from our guests - on both sides! - that it was "THE BEST CEREMONY" is meaningful, special and pretty good proof.Christy Loftin's reply:

I live in Colorado, so trying to plan a wedding in South Carolina during a pandemic was very challenging, but Christy definitely put my heart at ease through my entire wedding process. She kept me on track as well as level headed during a process that can feel very overwhelming. Christy knew the ins and outs of most vendors Charleston had to offer and set me up with the right vendors to make my wedding dreams come true (and on budget!)
It poured rain the entire day of my wedding and Christy was still out in the the thicket of all of it, making sure everything was as perfect as it can be, even during a monsoon. I can hands down say Christy will stick with you through all the nitty gritty parts as well as the beautiful parts of your wedding to make sure everything is exactly as you want it.Christy Loftin's reply:

My new husband and I were married June 15th at Boone Hall Plantation. Being from KY and with the pandemic. we couldn’t make it to SC for the last several months of planning and we also didn’t know if our wedding would happen. We ended up downsizing our wedding, but we still had it and it turned out beautifully! Christy made so many things easier for us! She handled small problems that were caused by lack of communication of other vendors. She made sure everyone was on the same page. And, what I consider to be her best quality, Christy is a just such a sweet and genuine person. You can tell she truly cares about her couples and it shows. With all the chaos leading up to the wedding, I didn’t feel like much of a bride, but Christy made me feel like a glowing bride at my rehearsal and on my wedding down. We orininally planned for partial planning services But I quickly found out that it is much harder planning a wedding in grad school than I thought.
Throughout the entire process, Christie was there to help us with vendors, contracts, and ANY questions, which was so helpful — I had never tried to plan a wedding before, and there was so much I didn’t know. She knows this area. She knows the market. She knows the vendors. She knows who can offer better prices and services. It was such a dream working with her!
Unfortunately our wedding can’t take place in the way we originally planned, but even still, Christie has been so helpful in navigating our changing plans.

I cannot say enough good things about Christy. We had to cancel our wedding due to COVID-19 and she helped us throw together an elopement within 5 days. We even moved it up a day at the last minute and she was SO accomodating. She was our officiant for the elopement and it was so beautiful. We brought our pup with us and she even hung out and watched him for us while we had some pictures taken. Not at all how we expected our wedding to go, but considering the circumstances it couldn't have been more perfect!Christy Loftin's reply:

We hired Christy last year for my daughter’s wedding. Christy seemed to be fulfilling her job as a wedding planner up until a week before the wedding and then she dropped the bombshell that she would not be present the day of due to her negligence by double booking an out of town event. We trusted her and naturally expected her to be present and coordinate the actual event. We were devasted and overwhelmed. It was extremely heartbreaking to see our daughter so upset a week before her wedding. We were left with an inexperienced assistant. It was so stressful while trying to update the assistant on all our plans and the vision we had, especially on the day of the wedding. If you are looking for someone to create a timeline and give advice beforehand, then she’s capable of that, however if you need her for the most important day, the wedding day, for all the unforeseen issues and complications, you better look elsewhere. She could leave you at the altar.Christy Loftin's reply:
Thank you for your review. As a review , in our very first meeting prior to sending your contract we discussed that I work both domestically and internationally on corporate events as well as weddings. We discussed the fact that have a team of seasoned professionals , that I would see through your planning and assign senior staff to execute the event on site. Part of the value in hiring my company is the collective experience we bring as well as the comfort in knowing that your event would be handled exceptionally in all circumstances , be it family emergency , illness , or otherwise. It’s extremely hard not to get so personally attached to a family while planning such a major life event - both for me and the couple. I was hired as a partial / day of planner yet performed the services of a full service planner with no additional charge so to say that services were not a value is unfounded. . I have numerous emails from you dated as late as the rehearsal day , as to how “perfect” I am , how you valued me and my services and how I truly “came through” for you. You even commented how you were comfortable with my staff and embraced my lead ... at the rehearsal we even exchanged hugs and tears at how beautiful things were. You initialed and signed a contract that states you understood the entire process. At no time did I misrepresent myself. So if you are disappointed because we became so attached I understand but to rate my services poorly and state that my team was inept after glowing reviews from your immediate family , guests at your wedding and every vendor there is simply a contradiction in every conversation we’ve had both verbally and written. As I understand it from everyone the wedding was flawless. I truly enjoyed working with you and getting to know your family . I wish Kinsey and Alex a lifetime of happiness. -

Incompetent
I used to own a bakery in Charleston Sweet Lulu's. I worked several weddings w/Christy as the wedding planner. While she seemed nice, 1 wedding stands out. Local well-known couple got married in small front yard of their IOP house. Christy did very poor job of planning placement of my horse trailer bar, something not didn't realize until I was onsite. Even tho we agreed on my arrival time, she had food truck arriving an hour later instead of before. I now had to switch placement w/food truck as my placement would block them from pulling into their spot. Worse, food truck served from different side as me, so when I pulled in, towed by SUV, it was impossible to unhook my SUV from trailer in small front yard that just had new sod laid that AM. Her poor planning resulted in me leaving SUV attached to bar & tore up new lawn, during wedding.
My fault for hiring Christy late 2020 (not 10 yrs ago) to deliver desserts & tend bar. She jumped at chance to work as her weddings were on hold. Colossal mistake. She delivered $120 dessert order to wrong house, on wrong street. App she used guided her wrong street. Never confirmed correct street. I had to refund $120 because of HER error.
Last weekend I had her, she tended bar for 2 weddings & ROYALLY screwed up BOTH. I paid her $400 for BOTH weddings! We had already worked together several times in this bar so she was aware how everything worked.
Friday I arrived early & set up bar for her. Everything plugged in & working. After I left w/approval from my wedding planner Katie, another vendor hooked up to same electric source as me w/MASSIVE lighted sign directly in front of my bar. During 150 person wedding, horse trailer lost electricity due to MASSIVE lighted sign. As Christy was a wedding planner for years, she should have been well versed in trouble-shooting problems. She & her equally obtuse male friend she insisted tending bar w/her did nothing. She called me frantic as they were working in the dark. Never mentioned anything about sign. Unsure why but they removed 1 cold keg from cold refrigerator & placed outside on lawn allowing keg to get warm. I arrived & IMMEDIATELY discovered blown fuse. Fuse box in trailer was eye height w/no cover & had 1 LARGE switch ON/OFF. Just like in a house. They never bothered to just flip the switch on. Groom was FURIOUS because of her error.
Next night somehow was worse. Same horse trailer, same guy tending bar w/her. I moved everything from bar to inside venue as there was massive storm all night. Later learned Christy arrived late. Coffee never served even tho I set up coffee pots for her & plugged in bar outside. All she had to do was transfer to small thermal coffee pots & serve inside later in evening. She insisted she didn’t have an extension cord (there were 2 in trailer) to plug coffee pots in at venue, when they were already plugged into the bar outside. Lights were on w/generator running during massive storm so it was obvious it had electricity. Bride was FURIOUS she had no coffee. Had to refund her $200 because of Christy’s error. WORSE these idiots TRASHED inside of my horse trailer CONFIRMED W/INSTAGRAM VIDEO. Didn’t put garbage in bags. Literally threw trash everywhere. Left sopping wet cardboard soda boxes on top of my beautiful copper countertop ruining it w/massive 2 ft stain. Left juices out & not refrigerated. Left $2,000 generator outside running all night. There was so much trash just thrown into trailer & on countertops, it took me 2 hours to somewhat organize before I could leave venue w/it at 7AM next morning. It took me another 5 hours to clean trailer. Because of Christy's damage, I had to refund its new owner $500 the next day when they came to pick it up. She was WELL AWARE I was furious w/her!! Her negative reviews on Google and elsewhere speak for themselves. Mine was 4.9 w/151 reviews. Do NOT hire her for anything!

Christy charmed us in the beginning with her warm personality but unfortunately it quickly turned on us as we got closer to the wedding. She went MIA about a month before the wedding leading us to finishing up her contract obligations (vendor coordination, timeline, diagram). She even forgot to cancel an expensive rental order she made (unauthorized by us) that was delivered the day of the wedding. She sent associates on her behalf the weekend of and they did the best they could given the circumstances and I’m honestly grateful because they gave us better service that Christy ever did. But given all the headache she caused I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone I care about. I felt like I planned the wedding alone so I would encourage you do save the money and do the same! Or hire someone else who will care about your day.Christy Loftin's reply:
Thank you for your perspective - I was hired as a partial coordinator for this wedding and fulfilled all of my obligations for what I was hired for - I have emails and texts every week for months leading up to the very week of the wedding so should you have wished for full service planning I would have gladly offered that at a different rate. Additionally , you initialed every line of the contract one of which specifically states that I am not always the day of person on site & that I reserve the right to send my team . I’m not sure where the mix up is in the rental order communication as I did receive your email stating you purchased linen however I am not 100% error free - I definitely admit to being human. Everyone in our business is extremely busy which does not mean that any detail should be overlooked , missed or forgotten so I do apologize for the rental confusion though it is my understanding that you did in fact use many of the rentals and now refuse to pay. I had great reviews from all vendors and even some guests in attendance so I’m sorry you were disappointed. From all of the reports , photos and Videos it looked like an amazing affair . Thankfully too my staff was able to step up when your officiant passed out and couldn’t perform - l am proud of my team and of the job we did for you - I’d encourage anyone reading this review to reach out for any support materials should you have questions about my service levels or integrity. Christy canceled on me 6 days before my wedding. I was completely blind sided. She was also my officiant who had to be approved by the Lutheran church, which is hard to find. I was completely ghosted (as was the parsonage). Thank god I’m also in the wedding industry and could find efficient help fast. Honestly what a heartless mean person. It’s not about one persons day. I am so sorry you were disappointed. I tried many times to have conversations to not only plan the ceremony but also to gather information only to hear nothing or that “your were too busy”. I did send diagrams , suggestions , recommendations early on and responded to several questions immediately . However as time got closer and closer sweet Tamsyn was simply too busy to confirm information. She was threatening and couldn’t believe I couldn’t help - however she could not provide information that contractually was due 14 days in advance. I appreciate her perspective but 6 days before your wedding I still didn’t even know what time you wanted your ceremony and you are upset with me - full transparency, I refunded all of her money without being asked despite doing as much work as possible. I’m certainly happy she is a busy hairdresser in Charleston so she had connections that were willing to plan a wedding in a day . I am also happy to hear that the end result was a beautiful wedding that ended with a hopefully gallig married couple. Wishing you much continued success and many happy years ahead …
