Exceptional!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christy & Co. From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless and communication was always prompt, clear, and easy. As wedding planning goes, there were a few changes along the way, including multiple getting-ready location switches, and Christy and Renee were incredibly flexible and accommodating through it all.

My trial was such a great experience and immediately put me at ease. I walked away knowing I was going to love how I looked and felt on my wedding day, and that peace of mind is invaluable.

On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. I gave my bridesmaids complete freedom to choose their own hair and makeup styles, and every single one of them looked absolutely stunning. The team truly knows how to enhance each person’s natural beauty while still honoring their individual preferences.

I felt so beautiful and confident, and that is all thanks to Christy & Co. If I could do it all over again, I would choose them every single time without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend!

Our Wedding

Christy was absolutely amazing! She came right to our venue and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Her airbrush makeup was flawless, long-lasting, and looked incredible both in person and in photos. She was professional, kind, and made me feel so comfortable throughout. I received so many compliments on my makeup, and it stayed perfect all night. Christy truly went above and beyond, and I couldn’t recommend her more!

Incredible! So lucky to have them!

At the last minute, I decided I wanted to have a make up artist. Who knew it would be so hard to find one. Another make up artist forwarded my information to Christy and Co. Christy was quick to answer my questions and set up a trial run with Betsy. They made it so easy; I was ready for my day in no time. Betsy did my make up and a few others who also loved how they came out. Especially, my elderly Mom who has not worn make up in over a decade. Betsy helped make our day so special.

True make-up artist

Christy was recommended to me by my venue and I am so grateful they did. I barely ever wear make-up and had no idea how I was going to do my make-up for my wedding. Christy did a phenomenal job for me and my bridesmaids. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, which isn’t that exactly what you want? Following my make-up trial I went to a pool party on a particularly humid day and my make-up did not budge! On my wedding day, my make-up stayed in place the entire day. Christy is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. While doing make-up she even explained what I should be using if I wanted to use make-up. As someone who has no idea what they are doing with make-up, this was incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend Christy enough to anyone looking for a make-up artist!

natural glam

From the trial to my wedding day, Christy was responsive and easy to work with. As a group who was not familiar with airbrush makeup or any “pampering” so to speak, she was receptive to each of our individual requests and never made us feel like we were asking too much. She gave us a “natural” glamour that lasted the night!

From the bridal trial to the several-times-postponed event due to covid, Christy and her team were flexible, incredibly pleasant and professional. Made all my visions come to life!

As the saying goes, "third time's a charm!" I went through HECK and back trying to find the perfect hair and makeup company for my wedding day and I am so thankful to have found Christy's business. Both her and Renee make an amazing team and are super tentative to every single detail. I had originally tried something different then what I'm used to for my trial and I soon realized I didn't feel like myself. I was able to change my vision without and troubles at all. The wedding day came and the girls delivered more than I could have ever have imagined. After the horror stories I've been through while wedding planning, this was definitely one of the top three best decisions I could have made! Thank you ladies oh so much for making me and all my ladies feel flawless on my special day! :)

Amazing hair and makeup!

Renee and Christy did an AMAZING job with the hair & makeup for my wedding. My hair and makeup was absolutely PERFECT and I received lots of compliments on it. I was nervous about getting my makeup done because I have sensitive skin and normally don't wear a lot of makeup. Christy did an expert job of making sure the makeup worked well with my skin and gave me the exact natural and elegant look that I wanted. Renee is super talented and gave me the hair of my dreams on my wedding day. She did a great job creating volume and styling my hair exactly as I wanted it. I made a few changes on the day of my wedding from a year ago when I had the trial and Christy & Renee totally nailed my look. All of my bridesmaids were super happy with their looks as well and I was impressed with their attention to detail. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted the entire day, an impressive feat when we wore masks at times at the wedding due to COVID. I also had to switch my wedding date several times due to COVID and Christy was very accommodating. Christy was also very helpful in advising on the schedule for hair/makeup and was flexible when I had to make some schedule changes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Christy & Co!

Wonderful hair and makeup experience!

My bridal party and I were all so happy to have had Betsy and Chelsea from Christy's team do our makeup and hair for my wedding. Betsy and Chelsea were both incredibly professional, listened to what I wanted during my trial, and perfectly executed on the wedding day. Christy & Co. do absolutely amazing work. Christy was so well organized and was so quick to respond to all of my communication which made things so much easier on me as the bride in the planning process. Her contract laid out clear expectations so nothing came as a surprise and I knew exactly what would be expected from both me and her and her team. My bridal party and I worked specifically with Betsy, Alexandra and Renee for hair and makeup and their work was amazing. As someone that does not typically wear much makeup I was so impressed by their ability to make my make up look as natural as possible, as well as their ability to meet all of my bridal party members expectations with what they wanted for their own hair and makeup. Awesome experence

Our experience with Christy was awesome. She did a wonderful job with the wedding party makeup. She especially made my two daughters feel very beautiful on that special day. Perfect looks for my big day

Christy and Chelsea beautified me and my ladies perfectly for my big day. I am so glad I chose them! They were able to take a few photos and my words for the look I wanted and transformed it into my perfect bride look. My MOH, bridesmaid, and mother in law looked perfect, as well. Christy saved the day!

My daughter had an appointment with a different makeup artist who cancelled on the morning of her prom. I reached out to Christy through email and she replied immediately. She did my daughter’s makeup exactly how she asked and I couldn’t have asked for more, she looked absolutely gorgeous and it stayed on all night! I am so glad that I booked Christy & Co to do hair and makeup for my wedding! Christy was the makeup artist for our group and Renee did our hair.
My trial was super low-key and I felt like they both wanted honest feedback throughout the process. I had some very minor adjustments, but overall they gave me just what I was looking for.
They both arrived promptly on the day of our wedding, got set up quickly, and fit in with our group seamlessly while we got ready. My bridesmaids and both mothers looked stunning after they got made up, and everyone was really happy with the way things turned out. Christy and Renee did a great job of replicating the look I wanted, while also making a few adjustments that we had discussed after the trial.
Christy also took the time to airbrush my husband's face to cover a couple of stress pimples, and to help my grandmother apply her own makeup before she left. This was above and beyond what was expected of her and I truly appreciated it.
I would definitely recommend Christy and her team to other brides - their work was amazing and she was so on top of things leading up to the wedding. Thanks Christy & Co!

Christy was recommended to me by my cousin Meghan a year ago and it was the best decision!! We met Chelsea, from Christy & Co., while we were photographing a wedding. As I was editing photos, I couldn’t help but notice how meticulous all of the hairstyles of the bride and her bridesmaids looked on the big day! I also had a feeling from spending time with her that day that she would be exactly the calming and professional presence I needed when getting ready on my own wedding day. I booked with Christy & Co basically a few years in advance because I knew how perfect their services would be for me and my bridesmaids. The communication leading up to the events was exactly what I needed as a bride and a person who appreciates effective communication!

Since I booked their services so far before the wedding day and my vision shifted a bit through the planning process, I had two hair trials with Chelsea, during which we had so much fun! I felt like I was catching up with an old friend while she creatively and masterfully gave me the perfect, most romantic, natural bride look that I was going for. My bridesmaids all LOVED their hair that day. So much so that many of them kept their do’s in until the next day just to enjoy it some more! I hope that we work with Christy & Co. in the future on our wedding photography ventures, and I can’t wait to recommend their services to all of our future clients, friends, and family!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christy and Alexandra. First, Christy is quite possibly the most responsive person EVER (and definitely the most responsive of all my vendors!). She got back to all of my emails immediately, accommodated add-ons, subtractions, changes in schedule, etc. Moreover, she even helped me find a hair stylist! Really above and beyond. Alexandra was my makeup artist and I feel so lucky to have gotten her for my big day. I almost never wear makeup, and Alexandra helped me feel beautiful but true to myself. On top of that, Alexandra is an esthetician and gave me all sorts of skin advice that would help for the perfect look on my wedding day. After my makeup trial, she literally called a spa for me and booked a facial on my behalf. Alexandra also had amazing time management skills, was a wonderful person to chat with, and really got along great with everyone with whom she interacted. I wouldn't have known where to begin without her. My bridesmaids were all gushing about how incredible she was. I even have one girl who is also a bride, and she showed her makeup artist the picture of herself with the makeup Alexandra did! If it's not clear already, GO WITH CHRISTY & CO., and if you get Alexandra, consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky!!!! Seriously the best.

I started doing vendor research like every other bride, as soon as we got engaged. I'm the kinda girl that is super attached to my long hair. So finding a hair stylist can be a little nerve wrecking especially if it's for an occasion. I'm so glad I went with Christie and Co. All the reviews for them were outstanding. Nicole was my stylist. She was very professional and open to my ideas and vision as to what I want my hair to look like for the big day. First I got my hair cut in March so I could get know the stylist and got comfortable with her. In April I had my hair trial for my Bridal shower Nicole was able to recreate the picture I showed her of what I wanted my hair to look like. I liked it but I wasn't in love with it. Her and I worked together made a few tweeks and when it came time for the morning of the wedding she remembered the adjustments we had discussed at the last visit with her and my hair came out gorgeous. A perfect vision exactly what I had been dreaming of my whole life. I can not thank everyone enough. Nicole and another sylist were able to start doing everyone's hair and was done in about 3 hours for 8 girls getting there hair done. No one's hair looked rushed. Everyone was gorgeous and our hair lasted all day and night long. Hair began at 7:30 am the wedding was at 11:00am and went all day into the night and the next day. After all the dancing and photos my hair still looked great. Truly a day to remember forever I strongly recommend using Christie and Company for any special events you have in your life. Thank you again everyone you made me feel like a Princess!

After a bad experience at a make up trial using a different vendor I ended up finding Christy&Co. I had Alex do my make up and multiple bridesmaids. As someone who never wears make up, I think it all came out perfectly. The airbrush make up stayed on the entire day and looked flawless.
They were booked up for hair on the day of my wedding but Christy was nice enough to provide me with a list of other hair vendors which she contacted to make sure they were available for my day.
I would highly recommend this company (and Alex of course).

I cannot recommend the team at Christy & Co enough, especially for large wedding parties! We had LeeAnne and Alexandra for makeup, and Renee for hair for 11 women (8 bridesmaids, me, and the 2 moms). Everything went so smoothly and there never seemed to be any rush- in fact, Renee finished hair for 11 people with plenty of time to spare! I had also decided to change the style I wanted from the trial, and Renee was able to work with the photos I brought that day - my hair stayed in place the whole time and I was so happy with how it turned out. Alexandra and LeeAnne did an amazing job with the makeup - everyone looked flawless throughout the whole night. They were also able to accommodate some last minute mishaps and help us out - my brother was a groomsman in the wedding party and showed up with a black eye, and Alexandra worked her magic on that so you couldn't see anything (haha- thanks Alexandra)! Christy was very professional and great to work with, always following up to check in and make sure things were working out. If I could go back I wouldn't change a thing - thank you all!

I don't even know where to begin with Christy and her team as I am speechless with their work on my wedding day. I just recently got married on August 26th and had selected Christy and her group to be a part of our wedding day as our hair and make-up team. I had 8 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother-in-law, and let me say, everyone looked flawless!! Christy and her team are EXTREMELY talented and I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day because of them. They are friendly, efficient, and comfortable to be around. We stayed on track and on schedule throughout the entire wedding day and they were always on top of things. They made the getting ready process so stress free.. I had looked into Christy & Co after receiving recommendations from a couple of recent brides. Christy was very professional to work with both over email and in person, and she was great about answering the many questions I had ahead of time. The hair and makeup trial process was very easy, and I felt like Christy really understood the look I was going for on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Christy and her team were AWESOME! Everyone in the bridal party was able to get the perfect up-do and everyone's makeup was beautiful. I am not a makeup or hair person so I had no idea what I was looking for on my wedding day, but after my free trial with Christy and Renee, they managed to get the look just right! The airbrushing and hair held up so well that I didn't need to do any touch-ups, and that is saying a lot with the amount of the wind we had! They met us at our hotel and were punctual and in communication with me the days leading up to the event so I never had to worry about being forgotten. In addition to my hair and make-up, they also did my 3 bridesmaids and mother. Everyone loved their styles and they had never met Christy or Renee before.

I would recommend Christy & Co to ANYONE looking for beautiful hair and makeup for their big day! I know that they are not the most "affordable" option, but the value of knowing that you and the women you love most will be well taken care of and feeling beautiful on your day is well beyond the monetary cost. While I did not get to meet Christy in person, she was always so sweet and responsive - you would think you were her only customer with the personal attention she gives you! She even checked in before my wedding to say congrats :) I had six bridesmaids, my mother, my aunt/officiant, and myself getting ready -- which seems like it would be chaotic! However, we could all enjoy ourselves while getting ready, and were as relaxed as possible in anticipation for the day ahead - all thanks to the professionalism, friendliness, and talent of the Christy & Co team. Renee did everyone's hair and it all turned out amazing. My family is blessed/cursed with a lot of hair, and it still held for the whole night! Alexandra and Leanne did all of our makeup, and we received compliments all night! The airbrushing held up so well that I didn't even need any touch-ups! I absolutely adore these girls, and would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever needed hair & makeup services again. One of my best friends/bridesmaids is using them for her wedding next September - and I'm so excited to see them again when I'm not panicking as an almost bride :) Thanks so much for everything, Christy, Leanne, Alexandra, and Renee! Christy and the team were fantastic! They were flexible and easily worked with all of my bridesmaids and family (both moms, an aunt, and grandmother also had makeup done). Everyone felt beautiful with their hair and makeup. They worked quickly so we didn't have to start too early in the morning and they were great company through the time they spent with us.

Christy and her team were absolutely fantastic! I met Christy and Renee the day of my hair and make up trial. They were so kind and helpful in finding the best look for my wedding day. We tried different hair styles to make sure it would hold for the entire day. They also gave their opinions in a professional which I found very helpful. The day of my wedding the team was ready to start right on time and very efficient working through my entire bridal party (I had 7 bridesmaids, myself, my mom and my mother-in-law, so there was a lot of us there). They were very patience with everyone and changed around any style some of my girls didn't feel comfortable with. In the end everyone looked and felt beautiful and it was all because of Christy and her team!

I am beyond happy that Christy and Chelsea were a part of my wedding this May 2016. My bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law could not say enough about how amazing they looked and felt the day of our wedding. Christy and Chelsea have a way of talking and working with clients that make them feel so comfortable which is especially important the day of your wedding! We all congregated in the makeup and hair section of our suite, just to chat and laugh with them as they were working on everyone. I asked for a few minor changes to my original look from our consultation, and they were both more than happy to oblige. Christy & Co is the perfect makeup artistry company! We were all blown away by their work. I never actually met Christy but I love her! She was so helpful and easy to work with and the value we got from her company is excellent. Our wedding was in Amherst so I didn't work with Christy, but with an amazing member of her team named Betsy. Betsy was so sweet and fun and professional! She did everyone's makeup in a way perfectly flattering for them. The makeup didn't make us look fake, it made us look like the most glamorous and gorgeous versions of ourselves! Just how you want to look on your wedding day. I was worried about the airbrushing because I didn't want my freckles to get masked, but it's so light that it didn't hide my skin at all, it just perfected it. I am so glad we chose Christy & Co to do the wedding makeup for my bridesmaids, my mom, and me. Their work is worth every dollar and I'd recommend it to everybody! Thanks Christy and Betsy!

Christy and Chelsea did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and wedding day and I couldn't have been happier with my decision to hire them. Christy and her team are absolutely amazing. I had a 4:30 ceremony, and my three bridesmaids and I were all having hair and makeup. My mom was also having her hair blown out and my wife was having what is basically men's makeup. Christy and Chelsea arrived exactly on time at 10 am and got on there way. They were so incredibly efficient and organized. I think they even finished early.

I was having a 20s theme and really only had a basic idea of what i wanted for the BMs hair, but Chelsea listened and came up with absolutely perfect hair styles. I also wanted period makeup for the girls and Christy did such a great job and gave them all an extremely bold red lip, and matched the color to each girl individually. I can't believe how beautiful they all looked. One of my bridesmaids even said that she liked her makeup better than she did at her own wedding.

As for myself, the hair and makeup was just phenomenal. I wanted a strong eye, but I also do not like heavy eye shadow. It looked amazing. I also changed the style of my hair from our previous hair and makeup trial and Chelsea did a fantastic job. I wore a birdcage veil, and Chelsea placed it perfectly to frame my face. It photographed beautifully, and was very easy to take out after the ceremony. My hair looked exactly the same when I removed it.

As to my Wife, she is very boyish and never wears makeup. However, she was a redhead when she was younger, so she still has those non-existent eye brows and lashes. She also is prone to breakouts. She wanted to photograph well and to even her skin tone. Christy did an amazing job. You couldn't even tell she had makeup on, but people commented on how great she looked. The airbrushing was so light, and Christy just added color to her lashes and brows, and some bronzer. She looked so good.

I would recommend them to anyone, no matter how much or how little you want. Your photos will be amazing, and you will look stunning!

My friend hired her for her wedding and when it came time for me to get married, there was only one person I wanted doing my makeup and one team I wanted doing my hair! Myself (bride), my maids, my mother, my mother-in-law, and my aunt all had our makeup done.

I also used the hairstylist at Christy for myself, my aunt, and some of my maids. We were all really happy with the end results. The makeup was amazing...they really did an amazing job.

I wish I could add photos to this review to display but you can certainly check out her website and ask her for pictures as well - Christy is beyond nice. I think more than half of the ladies had false lashes (I highly recommend getting this done). The airbrushing had all of our makeup stay perfectly throughout the night. I don't think anyone felt "too done up." And they were really able to personalize the look for each girl. I also had Christy coverup a tattoo of mine. It came out amazing and I was so happy I did it. Overall - they were professional, extremely kind, will to change things we wanted changed, listened to everything we wanted, and made sure we all looked great.

I used Makeup Artistry by Christy & Co for both hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party on my wedding day on 5/30/15. We all had airbrush makeup applied and our hair done. Everyone absolutely loved how they looked! The girls worked quickly and were able to get hair and makeup done for 10 people in less than four hours. They were efficient and their work was flawless. Everyone commented on how great and natural everyone's makeup and hair looked. The airbrush makeup stayed on all night even through all the tears and I was very pleased about that. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for professional makeup application and hair styling, I loved working with them and will definitely work with them again in the future!

Christy was absolutely fabulous!!I did not have a chance to meet Christy before my big day but I didn't need to worry - she was fantastic. She was on time, professional, courteous and very important to me and my girls - SOCIAL! She chatted with us and talked to us about our plans for the day while she did our make-up. The make-up she did was fabulous - it didn't wear off or need to be touched up. As the bride, I looked as wonderful at the end of the night as I did walking down the aisle - a wonderful wonderful feeling! Also, so importantly - I had two junior bridesmaids and she set them at ease and made them feel comfortable. One of them was nervous with the mascara and she talked her right through it. I would use Christy and her girls in a heart beat!

Highly recommend - Christy and Renee were amazing and a pleasure to work with! It definitely made for a more relaxing wedding day morning to know that they were coming directly to us at the hotel. Christy and Renee did the hair and makeup for my October 4, 2014 wedding and I couldn't be happier! They were absolutely wonderful, detail-oriented, and professional. My makeup and hair, as well as that of my three bridesmaids and mother, looked absolutely fantastic. I felt truly beautiful on my wedding day. Despite waves of pouring rain and an outdoor photo session with an umbrella, my hair and makeup stayed lovely for the entire day. My mom chose to wear her hair down and her hair stay smooth and styled, despite the rain and humidity. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning. Christy and Renee's incredible attention to detail and artistry resulted in hair and makeup that not only looked great in person, but also translated beautifully to our wedding photos. When I first got engaged, one of the things on the top of my list was finding the best makeup artist around to book. I looked up everyone I could find in the area who would travel and no one really seemed to catch my eye. There always seemed to be some kind of a catch or they were really expensive for work that didn't really give a wow factor. Then I cam across Christy's website and I knew from all of the pictures and reviews that I wanted to book her right then and there. I contacted her and after a few emails back and forth throughout the day, I booked for my wedding without even having a trial because I somehow just knew that she was the person I was looking for. Christy is very prompt with emails and works with you on all of your needs. The fees along with travel are a great value. She does an amazing job and she makes you feel so comfortable that you feel like you have known her for a very long time. The studio in Sturbridge is very cute and comforting as well. I had my trial done for my shower and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful it was and where I got it done. For the wedding, my makeup looked a little bit different and again people kept commenting on how beautiful it was and if it was the same person who did it for the shower. I would absolutely reccomend Christy and her team for weddings and any other events that you would need to get your hair or makeup done. I am actually looking for excuses to keep going back to her because she does such an amazing job!!

Christy and her team are the absolute best. Hair and makeup was my most researched vendor (I must have e-mailed dozens of possibilities...) and I knew my bridal party and I would be in great hands when I excitedly chose her team. While I don't wear too much makeup (except for events), I definitely know what I like and knew I needed the perfect entourage. The trial makeup was beautiful-and from it, I knew exactly what I liked and hoped to alter slightly. The airbrush makeup is incredible--totally flawless, so NATURAL, and truly sweat-proof. I get warm very easily and it was one of THE most humid days outside on our wedding day (just my luck.) My guests told me how amazing I looked all night long (the makeup didn't streak or come off) and the photos look so good. If you're deciding on eyelashes--do it; all of my bridesmaids ended up getting them even though only half had originally thought they would. What's even better, the women were SO wonderful to spend the early afternoon with...we laughed and ate and the sleepover party atmosphere calmed my nerves. You'll feel like a celebrity VIP. Renee is an updo genius--she created different hairstyles for all of us, fixing mine until I was 100% happy--and Christy and Alexandra made us feel like the most gorgeous bridal party that ever existed. :) I have never looked better or felt so beautiful.

I can't say enough words of appreciation to Makeup Artistry by Christy and Co. In fact every recently engaged women needs to get in contact with Christy and her team. My wedding took place on August 17, and I hired Makeup Artistry by Christy.
Makeup was done by Christy and hair by Renee for myself, bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid, and even hair for my husband. Christy took the time to listen to want I wanted, and created just a beautiful me. Christy made me look so natural but she accented my features. I received so many compliments that day of how my blue eyes just popped and I looked stunning. She is professional, on time, and is readily available to answer any questions. I had many questions prior to my wedding date, and she would always respond quickly and professionally. I could not get over the transformation she created on my bridesmaids. My matron of honor is a mom, who rarely treats herself. Christy did her makeup and honest to god I think it was the best she has ever felt about herself. Renee who worked on our hair is just so talented. She also listened to our requests and made professional suggestions that made us look even more beautiful. She is so quick too, and her work is breath taking. In fact my junior bridesmaid is 6 and has very sensitive hair, she will not even let her mom touch her hair. I was amazed how she just sat quietly as Renee worked on her hair without a peep. My husband who is a little bit of a hippy needed help on his hair-he was hesitant at first, but after he was so impressed with how quick and professional Renee was with doing his hair. So ladies do not forget to book your future husband in.
On another note, these two true artists Christy and Renee also worked on me for my engagement photos, so new brides please do not forget to book them for that.

I am so extremely thrilled that I booked my entire wedding party with Makeup Artistry by Christy & Co. for my wedding this past June 21, 2014. Christy was a dream to work with! I got married in central MA, about an hour away from where I live and where everything I know is, so finding vendors was done mostly online. My normal practice was to contact a few different vendors via website, set up meetings with all of them and then make my decision (I'm pretty Type A, can you tell? Haha) after meeting with everyone. My mom found Makeup Artistry by Christy & Co. online and forwarded me the address to her website, and I am so thrilled that I did! I set up a trial with Christy. She came in on a Sunday just for me because her posted trial times didn't work for me. She was so friendly and welcoming; she put me right at ease. She listened to me, what I wanted to look like, things my now husband likes about my look, and she created something that was BETTER than my wildest dreams! I booked her on the spot and cancelled my other meetings with other makeup artists. The communication between us throughout the year was awesome as she's very quick with a reply!

I do have to really talk about this - Christy saved my butt! Originally, Christy was only doing makeup for my party. I had booked two hairdressers from my hometown to come to our hotel in Gardner, MA, to take care of all the hair needs. Six weeks before my wedding, one of my hairdressers had to back out and I thought I was stuck! I emailed Christy and she responded right away that she had one of her hairdressers that wasn't booked yet, so we could just add that to my contract.

All in all, it was a dream experience working with Makeup Artistry by Christy & Co. My entire bridal party looked GORGEOUS, the makeup lasted all night, and we really enjoyed our time with them. TALENT and professionalism at it's finest, ladies! You need to book with them :).

I'm not sure what to say except Christy and her team are absolutely the best. We got married on Cape Cod and brought them out from Sturbridge, MA. It was completely worth it and I would do it over in a heartbeat. They were reliable, professional and very talented. Everyone loved the way they looked and enjoyed their company as we spent the morning/afternoon getting ready together. If people had certain preferences or concerns, the girls accommodated them. We even had a couple of people in our wedding party that don't like getting their hair and makeup done but gave the team a shot and everyone was impressed. I could go on for awhile but basically, if they're available, you should book them - they're the best all around. Couldn't be happier - thank you, thank you!!!

Christy and her glam squad were truly amazing on my wedding day, and trust me I did not make it easy for them. After many trials with various artists I finally found my way into Christy's shop in Sturbridge and we hit it off. I could tell from the series of questions she asked me about my bridal makeup she knew what she was doing and what I wanted. Throughout the whole process she was professional and a pleasure to work with- including when I bumped up our ready time by 2 hrs last minutes, changed the head count a few weeks before, and needed someone to assist in the last minute sewing of my maid of honors broken zipper!! You can not go wrong with Christy!

I worked with Christy and Renee for my engagement photos and wedding, and I am SO glad I did! They are both wonderfully sweet, professional, thoughtful, and amazing at what they do! I don't wear makeup in everyday life, so their opinions and suggestions were very important to me, and they were able to interpret my vision for how I wanted to look perfectly. They made my bridal party, mom, and I look and feel absolutely gorgeous on the big day - a few of my guests told me I looked like bridal Barbie, and who could not be happy with that kind of compliment?! They were very reasonably priced for the high quality of work they provide, and they were willing to take care of me for my engagement photos on a Sunday after they had already done a wedding that morning! Let me start off with the fact that Christy was very accommodating... I had bridesmaids that needed to be added in for makeup after my quote, two weeks before the wedding I needed to add my fiance for a quick airbrush to cover a recent scar, and literally hours before the wedding the makeup artist for my mother-in-law to be and sister-in-law to be backed out and Christy was able to fit them in as well! Not only is she accommodating, she is personable, easy going, and most importantly GREAT at what she does. I wasn't able to do a consultation because I live in Virginia, but Christy was able to make me look (and feel) like a princess! This was my first time getting airbrush makeup done, and I was skeptical at first, but it lasted all night, through tears and dancing, and it photographed well too! Definitely worth every penny. Renee did my hair (again without a consultation) and she was amazing as well! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. All I knew was that I was thinking a curly half up/half down look, but we actually stopped when my hair was all down and curled because it looked THAT good already. If I were to do this all again, I'd hire Christy again hands down. She made my experience so pleasant and my bridesmaids and I looked amazing!

Christy and Renee are an amazing team. Hair and make-up were two of the things I was most nervous about for my wedding. I knew I wanted my hair down in old Hollywood inspired waves. And I thought I wanted dramatic eye make-up. Doing a trial with Christy and Renee made me confident I would feel beautiful on my big day. They worked with me to create the look I wanted, even when I asked to change things. I felt like a movie star on my wedding day. And the best part was hearing my husband say over and over how stunning I looked. : )

I can definitely see why my photographer recommended Make up Artisitry by Christy & Co. - I will now recommend Christy and her fabulous team to everyone I know. My whole bridal party wants to use her again for every event they go to. My hair and make up both at my trial and on the wedding day were absolutely flawless and she made sure I was 100% satisfied with my look each time. The make up was perfect and she managed to make everyone happy from my maid of honor who is a make up pro to my mom whose never worn any makeup and was a little worried about it. On top of that the whole team was super friendly and Christy made it very easy to set up spelling out every detail and double checking with me just before the big day. She was also so flexible when I had a few family members driving me crazy with last minute add-ons that it made the whole process a breeze. Use her - you will not regret it!!

Christy is a talented make-up artist. She does this full-time and is constantly training and learning, and it shows. Other referrals I considered were for people who do make-up part-time around their other career. Christy was the only artist to offer air-brush, which she is professionally trained to do. She worked with 3 generations of ladies (mothers, bride, and junior bridesmaid) on my wedding day. Finally, Christy is so easy to work with and she will work with you until you are happy with the result!

I had the pleasure of having Christy as my makeup artist for my wedding and I have to say I was more than satisfied. Christy was great from the start. She was quick to respond to my every email. The day of my wedding Christy arrived on time and ready to work. She did makeup for my mother, my maid of honor, my daughters who are 12, 6 &5, and myself (the bride). She listened to what everyone wanted and was able to get our vision spot on. My mother got compliments the entire night on how youthful and amazing she looked. Christy managed to make my 12 year old look perfect and gorgeous while still letting her be a young lady. I have never felt more beautiful in my life and I owe a huge thank you to you, Christy. I would highly reccommend her to anyone looking for an amazing makeup artist. I plan to call her in the future for my next formal affair.

I loved working with Christy! I was planning our wedding from out of state and she was so patient and flexible setting up my trial when I was in town for only a few days. Christy and Rene where amazing! I booked Christy and Renee for myself, my mother, and 5 of my bridesmaids for my 8/24 wedding. I had a trial run for myself first, and it was fantastic - they both were so relaxed and made me feel incredibly comfortable. Also, needless to say, but my hair and make up looked fantastic (they could make anyone look like a million bucks). On the day of, they arrived on time and went through all 7 of us in record time. Their efficiency and professionalism were exceptional and they made everyone look positively GORGEOUS. The most impressive part though was that one week before the wedding, one of my bridesmaids got poison ivy literally all over her body and Christy was able to cover all of it up with air brushing to the point that you would have NEVER known that it was there - it was seriously amazing. Christy is beyond wonderful. If you are getting married in the Worcester area, book her ASAP!! It's definitely not surprising to me to know that she already has bookings for 2015!

Christy and her ladies were great! From the test run to my actual wedding day the ladies were responsive and helped with all inquires my bridesmaids and myself had. I loved my make up and hair, i instantly started to cry after Christy did my make up, good thing she was there to touch me up!!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy!! I want her to come over on Saturday nights before I go out! I have never felt so gorgeous like a model as I did on my wedding day. She is top rated all of the wedding community because she really is the BEST yet she is the most fun, down to earth, sweetest person ever! When I went in for my trial, I had an idea of what I wanted and showed her a couple of pictures. She knew exactly what colors to use to compliment my eyes and skin and how to play up my best features. Her airbrushing makes your skin look perfect even when you have some imperfections. I have a scar across my eyebrow and you aren’t able to see anything in any of my pictures!! I looked fresh all night even after hours of sweating while dancing! My mom cried when she saw me and said she had never seen anyone more beautiful. My husband just kept telling me all night how incredible and beautiful I looked and how lucky he was to be married to such a gorgeous wife. The look in his eyes was priceless and I can thank Christy for making me look so great! I plan to call her up in the future for events, maybe even a class reunion, she is just so good!!!! Christy was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of planning my wedding. She was so responsive, and such a great person. We talked mostly through email (she is very quick to respon) but when I went in for my trial I felt as though I had known Christy for a long time! As soon as I explained my different ideas she was able to transform them into reality. She did an amazing job on Mother in laws and mothers makeup. They both looked fabulous (and they received many compliments throughout the night ). She also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids. It was the most amazing feeling to look in the mirror when she was done and see how beautiful my makeup looked. Christy was also easy to talk to which made things even more enjoyable because we could chat the whole time she worked on me. Christy and her team are amazing! My makeup looked incredible, and my hair was exactly the way I wanted. It was natural, but still absolutely stunning. From the very first time we spoke on the phone, I knew that I could absolutely trust that Christy and Sarah would make me look my absolute best on my wedding day. Christy took the time to ask tons of questions about my daily hair and make-up use and what I typically do for big events. When I went for my trial, I explained how I wanted to look and brought pictures of the hairstyle I wanted. Christy used all of the right colors and tones for my skin and I felt like a movie star! Sarah picked out one of the hairstyles and replicated it exactly! I was so happy with the trial that I knew I had nothing to worry about on the day of. When they came to the hotel that morning, they were very professional and got started on time. We had a blast with them!! My bridesmaids, mother, and I were all so overly pleased with how we looked that we kept asking if we could keep Christy and Sarah in our pockets! haha.. But it was the truth. They made us look and feel our very best and we couldn't have been happier. Not only did they make us loook out best but they made us all very calm. This was by far one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding day. I met with Christy for my makeup trial and instantly knew I was going with her. She is insanely talented, so comfortable to be around and professional. I cannot say enough good things about her!! Anytime I need my makeup done, she will be the first person I call. She really seems to have a great team. She also referred me to Sarah who did my hair. I met with her for my trial and didn't have to meet with anyone after that either! She was wonderful! The day of the wedding they were there right on time and my Mother, Sister and Bridesmaid also were getting there makeup done and they have never met. At first, I wasn't going to have my make up professionally done. I prefer a very subtle, natural look and didn't feel as if it was an area I should spend the money on. Then I thought about the cost of the professional photos and our HD Videography and the fact my makeup would have to last 12 hours and suddenly, the idea of airbrushed make up made a whole lot of sense and more than justified the cost.

Christy had fantastic reviews so they were the only place I called. I wasn't sure the air brushed make up was necessary or worth the cost but I knew I wanted someone who knew how to apply it correctly to do my make up! Because it was only me that was having my make up done, I had to travel to their studio (a 45 min drive) the morning of the wedding, but I had the time and it actually provided some 'down' time for me to prepare mentally for the day!

Sarah did my make up. I had a trial with her a few weeks before, which was an additional cost but SO WORTH IT! It was nice to get to know her and for her to learn to work with my super-sensitive easy tearing eyes! I tried the fake eyelashes, eye liner (which I never wear) and a lip gloss (I also never wear). I learned the eye liner on the bottom and fake lashes were just too irritating for my eyes so we didn't use them the day of the wedding. I also found a different gloss I liked better and brought that the day of the wedding and it was perfect!

The wedding day make up went smoothly. Nothing bothered me! It was flawless and my pictures came out gorgeous! The look was very natural and 'me' but it lasted 16 hours and looked nearly as perfect as it did right after she applied it. It survived sweat, tears, kissing and hugging! Several people commented on it and asked me who did my make up.

If you are considering professional make up application, especially air brushed make up, I highly recommend Christy and Sarah. They are professional and quick to respond to questions and inquires!

My airbrush makeup lasted all night as well as my hair in the humidity. I would highly recommend using these two if you want to feel special and the most gorgeous ever! Thank you guys SOO much!

I have nothing but positive words to say about the service Christy provided me on my wedding day! She did makeup for myself, my maid of honor and my mother and we all felt like a million bucks! During our trial, she asked questions to discover how we usually wear our makeup, the colors of the wedding and to try and visualize what we were looking for. She took detailed notes so that on the actual day, she breezed right through the makeup application. She also offers her services at your home the day of the wedding, which was a huge help to me. With our venue only 10 minutes from our home, it was one less stress to worry about in having to plan drive time to a studio. Christy worked effortlessly with our hairdresser in rotating us back and forth and we were all finished right on time. She was always an e-mail away and very prompt in her communications. She even was able to help me cover up a last minute sun burn, which was hugely appreciated! If you are looking for a make up artist, please choose Christy!

I recently got married on Saturday June 16th, 2012, and I hired Christy from Make-up Artistry & Co. Christy is a sweetheart! She is extremely talented and I was so impressed with her. She did my sister n' Law, my mother, and myself the day of my wedding - the 3 of us looked Flawless! ha! When I first met Christy at my make-up trial I so impressed by her personality - We had great conversation and some good laughs! She made me feel so comfortable. Christy really listens to you and you can tell she really wants to go above and beyond to make her clients happy! During my make-up trial Christy noticed that i was a bit dry under my eyes, the next day she emailed me a few recommendations for good eye creams to use - They worked!
Also during my trial I expressed interest in possibly having really thick lashes. Sure enough about a month prior to my wedding Christy emails me telling me she found some "double Lashes" for me to wear on my wedding day that she thought would give me the look I was hoping for. there are not a lot of people that would go to such great lengths as Christy does to make her clients happy - and for that I am very "thankful" for. I would highly recommend Christy to have as your Make-up Artist. She is very professional, very responsive, and very good at what she does.

Christy provided make-up on my wedding day for myself, two bridesmaids and two moms. She was absolutely amazing. Every member of my bridal party was thrilled with their make-up. I was an out-of-state bride planning a wedding and was never able to complete a trial, so maybe I should have been nervous, but Christy put me completely at ease. Christy is an amazing artist and my wedding day make-up was perfect!! Her talent combined with her professionalism and amazing personality makes her the hands down best choice for wedding day beauty in the NE area. I have zero regrets about hiring her and look forward to seeing more of her gorgeous work in the future!
