So talented and easy to work with!

Chris was such an awesome addition to our wedding. He was super easy to work with, and even agreed to extend his playing time for us for our cocktail hour with only about a week's notice. Chris played for our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and we had several guests tell us how great his music was and how much it added to the ambience of the wedding. Chris is a great musician and we are so glad we he was a part of our day. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful Music with Professionalism

Chris performed exceptionally well and did not need much instructions, only where to be. He handled the whole wedding music planning via 2 separate phone calls and was able to give samples of the pieces. Very satisfied with his service and music. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful!

We were delighted to have Chris play at our wedding ceremony and reception. His music is beautiful and he is committed to creating the personal experience you envision on your special day. We started our partnership with a phone call to identify our wishes for specific genres and songs, I was very impressed with Chris' flexibility and willingness to learn new pieces for our special day. Over the next month, we communicated regularly by email and Chris kindly adapted his playlist for us two weeks before the wedding. One our wedding day, he flawlessly adapted his playing to suit our needs (and oftentimes our bloopers!) to create a beautiful experience for us all. My grandfather was so impressed with Chris' performance during our meal that he could not stop raving about his music the following two days! It was a joy to work with Chris and I highly recommend him for your special event!

Exactly what we asked for

Christopher was exactly what we had envisioned and asked for. The music he played was upbeat and catchy but not too loud. A few times my wife and I caught ourselves stopping and dancing while trying to take pictures because of the variety of music he was playing. We received multiple positive comments about the variety of his playlist. Money well spent!

Great music, easy to work with

Chris was professional through the whole process. Planning a wedding during a pandemic isn't easy, and Chris made the music part easy. He offered to learn several songs that were close to our hearts. Each request we made was met with a simple no problem. Great music too, our guests greatly enjoyed. We highly recommend Chris.

The perfect touch for the day

Chris was wonderful! We hired him for our ceremony and reception. I gave him very little guidance, but every song he played was perfect for us and our guests. He also learned a kind of oddball song that we really wanted to hear. I definitely recommend him.

Fantastic music for our wedding

Chris was the perfect musician for our intimate winter wedding. He performed during our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests repeatedly commented on his excellent music selection and how the guitar playing was perfect for our venue and overall wedding mood. Chris Wyton arrived at our event early, selected a corner of the room in which to play, and quickly/quietly set up to perform. Chris is very personable, was neatly dressed, commands an extensive repertoire, and plays our favorite style of guitar, classical. Bottom line, Chris Wyton was a huge hit with us and our guests.

Wedding Ceremony

Chris was the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony! He was responsive and worked with me prior to the ceremony to assign songs for the different elements. For my processional, I requested a song that wasn’t originally in his repertoire, but he looked it up and quickly responded “no problem”! The music was beautiful and perfect, and I can’t thank Chris enough!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Chris was everything we hoped for and more! He was easy to work with, communicative, very punctual and so talented! We requested some “untraditional” songs for the ceremony processional - he had no problem making sure he could play them and then executed perfectly. He was the perfect touch for our ceremony and cocktail hour! So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed his talent.

Easy to work with and very talented

Chris was incredible! We hired him for our wedding ceremony as we really wanted an acoustic guitar (no singing) to set the romantic tone. I went to listen to him play at a gig in DC about a year before the wedding. It was perfect because I got to listen to various types of songs — from classical to pop — all of which were so beautiful. So I knew wedding day would be the same. I cried happy tears the whole time walking down the aisle, and it was perfect. He is professional, quick to respond, and very talented. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Chris played guitar for our grandson’s baptism.

Chris played for our daughter’s wedding in 2012 and we received so many compliments from our guests! So, we wanted him to play for their son’s christening. I wanted an affordable and good musician for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I saw he had amazing reviews so I decided to contact him. He was fast to respond and his price was within my budget. Not only did I check out his reviews, I went on his website and listened to some of his songs. My husband and I knew he was the right person. Working with Chris was so easy. Not only was he always responsive but he was accommodating. He was willing to play any song I wanted. He even provided me a list of songs that I could choose from to help me out. Chris was very professional, showed up early to the venue, dressed very nicely, and the guests loved him during cocktail hour. I got so many compliments on how good he is. My husband and I are so happy that we hired him. We highly recommend him!!

Couldn't have asked for better!

Chris performed for our ceremony and we could not have been happier! He was the last vendor we secured and despite my tardiness, he was extremely easy to work with. We even threw in an additional complication of asking him to accompany a live singer during part of our ceremony with very little notice and he didn't bat an eye. His playing was wonderful, especially in our acoustically-challenged (though awesome) venue. He was responsive and we would recommend him to anyone!

We hired Chris for our ceremony, after going to see him perform at Magnolia's in Purcellville. We instantly knew he was amazing at what he does and wanted him to be a part of our big day. He was quick to respond to our questions and was flexible when we asked him to play some songs that were not on his list of songs. He learned a song specifically for us, which meant a lot! Christopher was wonderful throughout the entire process. He was responsive, reached out, offered suggestions, and spoke to us on the phone at our request. He is clearly very talented, as you will read in many of the reviews. Now that I’ve heard him play in person, I can vouch for this and assure anyone that the reviews are accurate. He arrived ahead of time for our wedding to play light music, in addition to playing during the ceremony. Our guests have commented that the guitar playing was a really nice touch. Chris was a real find and rare talent! Performed outdoors in 50 degree temps for daughter's wedding. Don't know how he kept those picking-fingers from getting numb, but guests were commenting all night. Showed remarkable flexibility when also needing to schedule practice-sessions (not part of the contract) with a vocalist/singer to coordinate in advance of event. Chris seems to be able to play anything. We asked for a few songs that one wouldn't think would be in a classical guitarist's "playlist" ... but he learned and perfected them quickly. Look no further....

Chris delivered an amazing performance at the Wiseman wedding. He played for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The music was the perfect background for the ceremony. As I, the groom, watched the bride enter the ceremony grounds, the classical guitar complimented the entrance so well that it brought a tear to my eye (besides the beauty of the bride of course). Chris was absolutely fantastic. He was quick to respond, was very nice about learning our song choices for walking down and up the aisle, and is incredibly talented. We're so happy that Chris was part of our wedding day! He was easy to communicate with, very professional, and went above and beyond to make our big day a success. Chris was fantastic. That's all there is to it. Not only was his ceremony and cocktail hour music on point, he was the consummate professional when it came to accommodating our one big ask. My stepdaughter sang a song during the ceremony. Chris learned the song to accompany her, and he went above and beyond by recording a demo track for her to rehearse along with. Chris was very flexible in helping us plan the music for the cocktail hour of our wedding reception. I play the cello and Chris worked with me to play a couple duets together to surprise my husband. Take you time picking your music vendor! We went and visited Chris twice at his residency gig and got to know him well. We hired Chris to perform during our cocktail hour. As the bride, luckily I was able to hear him play for a short amount of time (I made a brief appearance during cocktail hour). From what I heard he sounded great and I was very happy with his ability. I would definitely recommend Chris and would hire him again. My only regret is that I did not get a chance to personally meet him. But our interactions via email were excellent and he was very responsive and accommodating to my requests.

Chris was an absolutely amazing ceremony musician! Not only did he arrange several special pieces for the processionals, he coordinated with my best friend who sung me down the aisle. She lives across the country, so they weren't able to meet until the day of the ceremony--but Chris practiced with her to get the timing perfect! He met with me at a coffee shop to talk in person about the type of music I wanted prior to the ceremony and during the cocktail hour, and was able to play for hours with just a vague description of what my husband and I wanted. He is accommodating, extremely talented, and kind! I highly recommend him!

We had a great experience from start to finish working with Chris. Chris provided the music playing guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was great about jumping on a call before finalizing the details with us and answering all our questions and providing options and guidance. He easily accommodated our preferences for music, including a special request for a song as part of the ceremony. He arrived even earlier than he needed to, and provided the perfect music even on a very humid day. The music was wonderful and just how we had envisioned it, and many guests told us how much they enjoyed it. The price was fair considering the hours involved and how much it added to the personalization of our wedding.

We went to see Chris play at Magnolias at the Mill. His style of playing the guitar was exactly what we we envisioned for our wedding so we booked him! Chris has an expansive music selection ranging from classical to pop and he was willing to learn a new song that was not listed in his repertoire. He was professional and quick to respond to emails. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and started playing as soon as guests arrived. I could hear the music we picked out for the processional being played and it really put a smile on my face! Chris was an absolute dream to work with! He was extremely professional during our entire communication, and patient in waiting to hire him because I needed Venue approval first. He didn't mind at all in learning a new piece of music that was special to my wife and I. He was very accommodating with unexpected last minute changes due to weather. Even going above and beyond and helping my coordinator rearrange our reception tables. Our family loved his music! And he was especially quick on his feet when one of the reception staff accidentally started playing music over him. I am sure it caught him off guard but he didn't fluster at all. Christopher Wyton was a wonderful asset at my daughter's outdoor wedding. We had numerous special requests - type of music, special songs, where and when he would play, accompanying a singer, and more. He was gracious and timely in his responses as well as accommodating. He even made a special trip to the venue to meet my daughter (music was my special job) to reassure her and to coordinate the transitions for the ceremony. The guests commented that they loved the amazing music he created with his guitar. He even helped the photographer and others to get everything inside when a rainstorm surprised us. He is an extremely talented musician and expanded his repertoire from classical to some Brazilian jazz and even Bob Dylan for our ceremony / cocktail reception. We received many compliments, and would look forward to hearing him play again!! Phenomenal!

Our post wedding reception afterglow party and following day's brunch was greatly enhance with expert light background acoustic guitar music provided by Chris Wyton. It buoyed the party with special atmosphere but did not interfere with conversations among guests from around the world. Chris was professional in attire and demeanor and highly responsive to last minute adjustments in the program making this a worry free experience for us and pleasure for our guests. He provides great value and is highly recommended

We got Christopher through WeddingWire based on the five star reviews that he received. I will say that he did not disappoint. Very responsive to all of our needs, a vast array of selections that he played were fantastic, and we got many comments from our guests on how great he was. The value is exceptional and we would recommend Christopher to any of our friends for any event!

The most worthwhile investment of our wedding. Chris's music added so much to our ceremony. My only regret is not booking him for the cocktail hour!

Chris was awesome! He easily learned an entirely new song I wanted for my processional, and sweated through 100 degree heat to play it! Definitely recommend.
