Fantastic Organized Flexible
Christie and her husband Matt were a great team. They were very organized and communicative and were recommended to us from more than one person. She's very good with lighting. We were worried about how our portraits were going to look because of nerves, etc, and Christie had great tricks to make us feel comfortable and the photos came out great. They covered every element of our day. I think they were on the higher end of photographers we were considering but in my opinion they nailed it 100% and since you don't get do-overs of your wedding day it's well worth it.Christie and her husband Matt were a great team. They were very organized and communicative and were recommended to us from more than one person. She's very good with lighting. Destination wedding at Haiku Gardens, Kaneohe
I had found Christie while looking for cake inspiration pictures on Pinterest. A cake picture I came across led me to a site and listed her as the photographer for the wedding. That was kind of it for me. Everything about her and her husband's photography and editing style I instantly loved. It was exactly what I wanted, without knowing that's what I was looking for. I (we) got extremely lucky that she was available 4 weeks away from our wedding date. I had sifted through other potential vendors from time to time, but none of them really stuck out to me. Now that I was a month away I had started to panic a little bit. I actually wasn't going to have photography or videography and was repeatedly told how much we would regret it if we didn't professionally document our wedding. I (we) are so happy that we were able to book with Christie and her husband.
Aside from her true professionalism and talent, she is so personable, down to earth and kind. She and her husband Matt were so accommodating the entire day. They both worked incredibly hard the whole day and still always had a kind, warm smile. They were so good about keeping us to our timeline. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens. The only pictures I'm not really 'happy' with are the ones my mouth is wide open from laughing and smiling so large, haha. But there was no possible way I could mute my emotions that day, so...it is what it is, :)
You are in the safest of hands and will not be let down. My husband talk about how if we're lucky enough to get pregnant that we'd fly back to Oahu and book with them for our maternity photos.Wedding: 10/4/18

We fell in love with Christie from the moment we first met her a year before our wedding. Her portfolio wow-ed us, of course, but what really confirmed it for us was Christie’s personality. She was so down to earth, friendly and easy to talk to -- she definitely was someone we wanted to have by our side on our wedding day. She’s super professional, yet so personable at the same time. On the wedding day itself, Christie and her husband Matt were so fabulous to work with. They gave us the easiest directions to follow and we felt like we were in safe hands. We never had to worry – we knew that Christie was on top of everything, like all the detail shots and following the timeline of the day. Coordinator aside, you could tell that she could command the day (in a good way) and as a result of being so organized and on top of things, you know that you’re gonna get a good set of photos because nothing was rushed or missed out on. Christie goes above and beyond and it just felt so natural with her throughout the entire process. We received some preview photos from Christie shortly after our wedding and we were blown away. Skills and professionalism aside, we just loved Christie and Matt for how they made us feel on the day – safe and taken care of. Thank you so much, Christie and Matt!

Christie and Matt are amazing photographers, and special people as well. We hired them for our wedding at the Moana Surfrider in March 2017, and then found out they would be travelling through London (where we live) a few months before. We met up in London and spent some time together, and then got to do an engagement shoot ahead of the wedding! My husband was quite nervous for the whole "photo shoot" aspect of the wedding, and Christie and Matt made him feel so comfortable - they are an incredible couple. At our wedding, in Oahu I really didn't want anything too staged - I felt nervous about having to “perform” and not be in the moment. Christie listened to everything I wanted, and she was always quietly in the corner, snapping amazing pics. We just received our pictures back, and there were moments I didn't even know she was there for! Her and Matt just kind of slid into the background and captured the emotion of everything, as if they were guests at the wedding. They really got all of the joy, emotion, excitement, nerves, all of it - in a simple candid shot. At our wedding, during the scheduled bride/groom pictures we had a lot of rain. In addition, I became quite emotionally overwhelmed with the fact that I'd just gotten married - and I had to shorten the photography portion, just to have some time with my new husband. Christie and Matt slipped into the background, and when I turned around they had left us with drinks! I found out later she had taken some beautiful, candid pictures of us from a distance. At one point Christie started fanning me when I was too hot, and even shielded me from the rain! They will feel like part of your guests, and you'll be sorry to say goodbye! I cannot say enough good thing. Hire Christie and Matt - you will be so happy you did!Christie and Matt are amazing photographers, and special people as well. How should I start this review...well, basically that Christie and her husband Matt are totally amazing. Not only as individuals but on a professional level can make you feel amazing on your special day. If I had all the money in the world I would have Christie follow me everyday to take shots lol! She is that amazing. Christie and Matt are so calm and not only that but they helped our wedding party, families, and friends get through pictures efficiently. It is very difficult to gather a lot of people for shots during a wedding and my husband and I personally thought that Christie was able to handle all our guests great. It was like she was our coordinator and photographer all in one day which is so awesome! Christie always made sure we were okay, asked if we needed to take a break or if she could grab us water which she totally didn't have to do! I am so lucky to have been referred to Christie's business and I was able to look at her preview shots of our wedding and so far everyone is LOVING them so I can't wait to see the final products. Christie and Matt are such great photographers that I feel so honored to have had them at our wedding. I hope to stay connected with them in case I need professional photographs in the future. I don't think I can go with anyone else!

Christie Pham is an amazing photographer. We used Christie for our wedding in Oahu and the pictures could not have turned out more beautiful. It was also a pleasure working with both her and her husband Matt. She and Matt have a wonderful and personal approach to wedding pictures. Christie photographed Erlyn getting ready and Matt photographed me getting ready with my brother / best man which was a really easy going experience. They then proceeded to photograph our families, first look, ceremony and reception. Within 24 hours, they already had pictures for us to share. I highly recommend them to capture special events in your life. Not only did we get wonderful compliments from our wedding guests about how awesome Christie and Matt were over the course of the evening, but I have gotten so many positive reactions and exclamations about the quality of the Christie's pictures from friends and family after they saw the final product.Christie Pham is an amazing photographer. Christie is fantastic. She is so willing to help in anyway possible. We flew Christie over to Kauai for our wedding and for the small travel fee she is totally worth every penny. Her photographs are magical and so natural. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to get married in Hawaii. Amazing!!!Christie is fantastic. She is so willing to help in anyway possible. I cannot say enough amazing things about Christie and her Husband. She is the sweetest person on earth, and on top of that she is CRAZY talented. You will not regret using her. If you are looking for beautiful, contemporary, and original wedding photos, Christie is your girl. Her photos are unbelievable, she is professional, accommodating, and so much more. My now husband isn't a big fan of posing for photos.... in fact he HATES photos and I warned Christie about that ahead of time. She did such a great job working with him and keeping our pictures fun and natural. We just received our online gallery and I am blown away by how perfectly she captured our day. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!!!

I found Christie Pham Photography while helping girlfriends with their wedding plans. I web-browsed from one photographer's blog to the next until I stumbled on Christie's site. That was it. I loved everything about her photos - the mood, the lighting, the gentle/loving moments, the fun/wild moments, the impromptu moments; everything she captured through her lens was perfect in my eyes. So when I got engaged, Christie was the first vendor I booked. Christie was always responsive and accommodating during the months leading up to the wedding. We changed our wedding date twice. Christie was very accommodating.
And then it was wedding day! Christie brought her husband and assistant extraordinaire, Matt, to photograph our special day. We greeted each other when they arrived and then...Christie and Matt disappeared. But not in a bad way. They simply blended in to our surroundings and started snapping away, capturing all our special moments. Working with our amazing wedding coordinators from Bash Events, LLC, Christie and Matt kept us on track, getting all the shots. They worked very hard throughout the day, sometimes even bending over backwards (literally) to get the perfect shot.
I woke up the next morning with a new last name and a set of gorgeous preview shots from Christie. Yes, she's that good. She had beautiful, edited photos to share within hours! :)
The next time we met was a couple months later at our coffee shop, where it all began. Christie delivered hundreds of printed photos from the wedding along with a USB holding all our high-resolution photos. I could hardly swallow the bite of my bagel and mouthful of coffee as I started looking through the photos. Memories of our wedding day came rushing back and I couldn't help but get welled-up. Christie did an amazing job with our wedding photos! She was everything I wanted and MORE! When planning out wedding, we both decided that the photos are on the list of priorities. This is the only thing I have from our big day and this is the only way we could preserve our special moment. Christie was very easy to work with and is very nice. She's not bossy like other photographers I've worked with in the past on a professional level. Her photo style is exactly what we were looking and she delivered on everything we asked for. I also want to call out that we've gotten so many compliments from our wedding photos from our friends and family too.Christie did an amazing job with our wedding photos! She was everything I wanted and MORE! When planning out wedding, we both decided that the photos are on the list of priorities. This is the only thing I have from our big day and this is the only way we could preserve our special moment. Christie was very easy to work with and is very nice. When my husband and I began planning our wedding, my first priority was to hire a good wedding photographer. I had seen Christie Pham's photos from a friend's wedding and through her website, and I fell in love with her photojournalist style and with her ability to capture even the small, fleeting moments (which often become the most cherished memories). I met with Christie and instantly felt comfortable with her, as if we were old friends catching up and excitedly planning my wedding. To me, this is an important quality in a photographer, who is there to capture the most important moments of your wedding. Being able to openly communicate is key. This was also an important quality for my husband, who felt uneasy about being photographed. She knew exactly how to get amazing shots while making us feel at ease--my husband ended up having a blast since taking pictures with Christie and Matt felt like we were all hanging out with good friends.
We give Christie our highest reviews and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. She is professional and knows what she is doing. From the beginning, Christie was so easy and wonderful to work with. I remember our first phone conversation prior to me booking her and it was like we were friends! I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her.
She was amazing on the day of my wedding. She dealt with my obnoxious husband and made it very comfortable for us. I recently got a sneak peak of four of our photos and I'm in love! I think I've looked at the same 4 photos over a hundred times - I'm so obsessed with how great they turned out! I can't even begin to imagine how the rest will turn out!

From the beginning, Christie was so easy and wonderful to work with. I remember our first phone conversation prior to me booking her and it was like we were friends! I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her.
She was amazing on the day of my wedding. She dealt with my obnoxious husband and made it very comfortable for us. I recently got a sneak peak of four of our photos and I'm in love! I think I've looked at the same 4 photos over a hundred times - I'm so obsessed with how great they turned out! I can't even begin to imagine how the rest will turn out!

Christie is a true gem...I researched a ton of different photographers and chose Christie not only because she takes awesome photos, but she was reasonably priced for a quality photographer. We coordinated everything long distance and she was really easy to work with. When I finally met her I almost cried because I was so excited that we connected so well and working with her the day of was awesome. She and her husband made us feel at ease and I am just dying to see what she captured. I love Christie and her husband Matt. They were wonderful to work with. They were professional, listened to what we wanted, very flexible, and just all around great. I am very happy that we came across her by accident. We originally had a different photographer but when we changed our date our photographer was no longer available so the original photographer gave us a list of names. I am so glad we chose Christie. She takes really nice pictures and it doesn't look staged and she watches the crowd to catch candid. I also think that her pricing is worth it considering she touches up every single picture and not just a few of the pictures. I can't say enough about this photographer. I love her.
