I had serious anxiety about finding a photographer for our wedding. I remember finding Christie and looking through her pictures and being in complete awe over how beautiful they were. I messaged her with my fingers crossed she wasn't already booked and within 30 minutes she responded. I knew immediately that was the type of person I wanted on my team! Her and I clicked right away on our first phone call together and she eased all of my anxiety that I had. We had our engagement shoot short after and I was blown away not only by the beauty of the pictures she took but by the way she helped my husband and I relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Fast forward to our wedding day this past September. I remember being so excited for her to arrive at our venue and I kept telling everyone all about her and how much they'd love her. I felt such a sense of relief when she arrived because I knew how her presence made me feel so comfortable on such a crazy day. Christie was with us all day and her energy never once faded. She was truly on a mission to get the best pictures and did it with a smile on her face the entire time, even when one of my husband's groomsmen was being huge pain in the ass during our bridal party pictures (there's always someone, right?!). Not only was she our photographer but she helped facilitate the evening as well. During our cake cutting, we had no idea what we were supposed to do, and Christie was right there to walk us through it. We did sunset pictures across the street and then a private last dance at the end of the night both of which Christie got some amazing pictures of. We received our sneak peak pictures after we got home from our honeymoon and it was such a great surprise. I was STUNNED when I saw them. I was so blown away by all the moments that she captured that day. You're so busy on your wedding, you have no chance to absorb the beauty of the day so seeing it in her pictures was such an amazing feeling. We received all of our pictures recently and made an entire night of it just going through them. We laughed and cried tears of pure joy while looking at them. I have not a single clue how I'm supposed to narrow them down to make a wedding album!
Without any doubt, Christie was the best choice we made when planning our wedding. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and will forever recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Christie. Her skills are truly top notch. She makes daunting the process of taking a million pictures feel like breeze. She coaches you through different scenarios or poses that might feel a little bizarre at the time, but gives you the most amazing photos. Christie is so friendly and charismatic and brings an amazing sense of calm to one of the most stressful days. She is very organized and professional, and always responds to questions quickly. Throughout the engagement shoot and wedding day she made us feel so confident and comfortable. We got our sneak peek back quickly and | am OBSESSED with how good the photos have turned out so far. But in my experience, many photographers forget the humanity in front of the lens, the fact that most couples aren't models and need encouragement and a safe place to be photographed. Christie Heimbach Photography delivered the best of both worlds. Our wedding photos are beautiful, more than we ever expected. They allow us to relive our wedding. But most importantly when thinking about our experience with Christie, I remember how comfortable she made my husband and me feel. My whole wedding party. My family. We all experienced (and continue to talk about) Christie's world-class people skills married with her artistry. We are so thankful and cannot recommend her enough. -

I wish there were more than five stars because that’s what I’d give Christie. She is a PHENOMENAL photographer and woman! She captured every moment of our wedding and I’m able to relive the day with her beautiful photos. She made us feel so comfortable and was so down to earth, which is what you need the morning of your wedding when everything is crazy! Honestly one of the greatest humans I’ve ever met. You’d be silly not to use her as your photographer. Her work is incredible, she’s extremely reliable and has one of the best personalities. She’s the whole package!! Amazing photographer-seriously
If you are reading this post, just know you are making the right decision!
Christie is the absolute best photographer to work with and who also happens to capture amazing moments with ease. She met us outside of Philadelphia for our beautiful engagement spot (her suggestion) and then for our wedding day in Hallam, PA. Before we met Christie we were not the couple to take a ton of pictures. HOWEVER, Christie made us feel so comfortable from the beginning and made everything fun. She knew how to pose us that made our pictures look natural and not look posed. We are not naturals in front of a camera, but with her guidance and abilities it looked like we were! We enjoyed every moment! She was incredibly efficient for our wedding day helping to build our timeline for photos, that it left us plenty of time to enjoy the day with our family and friends. Afterwards sitting and looking at our photos there are moments that I did not even know happened as a bride that she captured and knew would be special to me. You will not be disappointed, and we plan to have Christie take our photos in the future. -

My husband and I would highly recommend Christie as a wedding photographer. We were unable to meet in person before the wedding (since we live out of state) which made us initially a little nervous, but she SO exceeded our expectations. She was very easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions, and made us feel very unique and special! Her outgoing and easy-going personality really allowed us to fully enjoy our day as well. She was open for creative ideas that we had for photos, but also used her own artistic style to create some non-traditional wedding photos in addition to the traditional ones. 10/10 would recommend. -

I don't even know where to start with Christie!! She was amazing to work with from day one! From our rainy engagement session to our blistering hot wedding day, she made getting pictures so much fun and unique. My now husband, Aaron (who hates getting his picture taken!) said how easy and relaxed he was and how Christie made getting photos done fun! She was with us every step of the way in figuring out our timeline, what pictures we wanted, and was just amazing. My bridal party said multiple times about how much fun they had during the bridal party shoot! And my dog didn't mind all of the belly rubs either! ;) The sneak peek pictures we got were exceptional and are so special to us, and we can't wait to see the rest!! 100% perfect wedding photographer
If you want someone who can tell a story in pictures, with some of the most stunning shots you can imagine, you need Christie. We wanted a new spin on old school for our wedding, classic shots in fun and new ways, and she more than delivered- we didn’t hire a videographer and looking back we didn’t need one. Christie can tell the whole story of your wedding and your emotions, no video needed and far more beautiful if you ask me. Plus she’s just so much fun to work with, from her personality to the prompts she gives us to get the best shots. I truly cannot recommend a photographer more highly! -

Christie is a 5-star photographer across the board! Beyond her portfolio being absolutely stunning, she really knows how to make her clients feel taken care of. We got engaged at the height of the pandemic in June 2020 and were so nervous about how to navigate the different vendors when you couldn't meet anyone in person. Christie was so warm and welcoming on the phone and walked us through all the questions we had. Our engagement shoot was a year later, which I absolutely recommend doing for a few reasons. Not only do you get beautiful shots at a gorgeous location (which she'll help recommend if you need!), but you get to play around with the lighting, poses, etc and become more comfortable in front of the camera if you're a bit shy like I was. Christie helped us discover the angles we loved, unique posing ideas that felt very natural and fun, and was super receptive to making sure we loved everything. Then, she was an absolute rockstar on our wedding day itself! She scoped out ideal places to do all the different shots and made sure we got some incredible group family shots after the ceremony. Then, she did a 5-minute (seriously, we timed it!) golden hour shoot with us which resulted in the best shot of the entire wedding in my opinion. We have an entire portfolio of stunning photos that we get to treasure for years to come! I cannot recommend Christie highly enough - if she is available for your wedding day, BOOK HER! -

My husband and I are a bit awkward in front of the camera, so when we were in search of a photographer and came across Christie we knew she was our girl just based on her description...and let me tell you, she did not disappoint! Our first encounter with Christie was for our engagement shoot and we were amazed with how comfortable she made us feel in front of the camera and how good she made us look! She has little games and questions to help guide you through the shoot and they make for perfectly authentic candid photos. On top of that she radiates positive energy, so you can't help but feel at ease around her. I can't imagine our wedding day without Christie and Allie. Christie is BEYOND AMAZING! We booked Christie for our wedding and from the very beginning, she was professional, attentive, and put ease to a stressful process. Throughout our wedding planning, Christie answered any questions we had, timely, and without hesitation. On the day of, she brought calm to the chaos, she made us comfortable, she had a timeline to make everything run smoothly, and most importantly, she was down to earth and a genuine, wholehearted human being. Along with Christie being one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, she has an obvious gift for photography. She was able to capture and illustrate the raw and deep emotions throughout the day. Christie made our wedding day LITERALLY the best it could have been. She was so pumped, even before the big day, and she made taking our photos so silly and fun so we didn't feel like we were in front of a camera. My husband and I aren't used to taking romantic couple pictures but Christie made us feel like we were naturals, and she encouraged us to try new and exciting poses! She went out on a limb and set up a rowboat for our sunset pictures and was hyping us up the whole time---and they turned out stunning! Honestly, I don't have to say anything about Christie's work because it speaks for itself!
We hired her for our wedding, and I have never been more thankful for a decision I've made in my life! From the first moment you speak with Christie she makes you feel like her best friend and this unbelievable kindness only grows throughout the process. She is one of the most genuine, giving and comforting people I've ever met and on your wedding day she makes sure you feel like the entire world revolves around you and your partner. She takes the time to get to know you both and then invests incredible amounts of time and talent into ensuring your wedding photos are exactly what you envisioned. For people with pets, she's incredibly patient and captured our pup looking even better than we did!
There aren't enough positive things I can say about her!! We had so much fun at both our engagement session and our wedding, I wish we could do it all over again! My wife and I worked with Christie for our June 2021 wedding. We started working with her 9 months prior and were impressed from the start! Christie took the time to get to know us and asked us all the important questions leading up to the wedding. She was flexible and responsive throughout the wedding process. During our portraits, we felt sooo comfortable and relaxed. She made us laugh and it showed in the photos :)
Not only did she do a great job working with us, but she made our family feel extremely relaxed the entire time too. We loved our wedding gallery, from our couple portraits to group photos to candids, we have photos that we will treasure forever. -

The first time we met Christie was for our engagement photos, and it felt like my fiance and I were just catching up with an old friend! She was so easy-going and friendly! She had so many unique prompts and poses that really helped us to relax and feel at ease the whole time during our shoot! When we got our photos back they were incredible! She got so many great shots that really helped to capture our personalities. This just made us even more excited to have Christie shoot our wedding. On our wedding day, Christie and her assistant far exceeded our expectations! They were friendly to everyone and it felt like they just fit right in as part of our group! Christie is so different from other wedding photographers. Her personality, for one, is great, and her interaction with us to get the perfect picture, was absolutely awesome. Trust and comfortability in knowing you are working with a true talented professional artist
Christie and her second shooter were an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day! Christie has a kind heart and has a positive up-beat spirit which is so important to have around you on your special day! I loved her “photo coaching” tips and tricks to capture fun moments between my husband and I, without us feeling awkward or camera shy. She asked us fun questions that we answered about each other and coached us on other fun tips/prompts that helped capture our best smiles and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She also was very organized and on-point with capturing all the photos I had requested on my shot list.
Christie was also happy to help me with tasks other than photography. She graciously helped me plan and map out the order of the day which helped me feel at ease. I was able to feel organized and felt confident giving my other vendors a structured schedule. Christie even jumped in and helped me put my shoes on while we were about to leave for the ceremony 😊
Overall, we felt very comfortable with Christie. She is professional and her work is exceptional quality. She has a keen eye for detail and has a great ability to capture all the special moments. Her editing style is uniquely beautiful and her perspectives are so creative. I felt very comfortable and trusted her because I knew I was working with a true talented artist! I’m truly thankful we went with Christie for our wedding photography and recommend her 100%! -

We had a wonderful time working with Christie for our wedding. For two people who don’t particularly enjoy being in front of the camera, we had the best time. At the start of the day, Christie asked me how I wanted to look in my pictures, the shots I really wanted, and what I wanted the schedule for the day to look like. She kept me calm and laughing the whole time, and her primary concern was to give us the best wedding day possible. It showed in the pictures! I wish I could give Christie a hundred stars and not just five. Christie will bring such light into your life from the first time you talk with her, to the first time you meet her (which we anxiously waited for for months while she was still living in another state, and I am living in another state from where the wedding was), to the big day where there is nothing but joy, love and excitement pouring out of her, to weeks after your wedding day when she is working on your gallery and just as excited to relive the day all over again as she is editing photos. This is a woman who truly loves her job. From the moment she and I chatted about being our photographer and we made it official with a signed contract it was like God was looking out for me. From the beginning I kept telling Christie she was the most important person to me on my wedding day, and boy did she live up to her expectations, she actually exceeded them! Since the day she agreed to photograph the wedding she had been with me every step of the way for the entire year making sure we had everything perfect for the the big day. She took pages and pages of printed pictures I gave her of poses and did her best to make sure we recreated as many as we could come the day of the wedding! She made our wedding day such at ease knowing everything we wanted going into it and not having to scramble around deciding on poses the day of. We had such a blast that day with surprise first looks and blue grass jam sessions up in a field, to tandem bike riding and late night sparklers...the best part being that it didn't feel like we had to work hard at posing for the multitude of photos, it felt completely natural. Christie had no problem getting into weird positions like straddling me to get over head shots or lying on the ground between me to get shots of us looking down at her! I truly can't pick a favorite photo because I love all of them, the romantic ones, the funny ones, the candid ones and the ones we planned. They are all stunning and bring out exactly what Todd and my relationship is! We were a match made in heaven, and I mean Christie and I lol. She is such a beautiful soul and I'm so happy that I not only had a perfect photographer, but I feel like I've made a friend! Christie, I wish you all the joy and luck as you take an amazing leap into your career, you're going to be such a rockstar! I'll be hunting you down for when Todd and I need our next photoshoot (maybe when we add a plus one to our family). -

Memories for a Lifetime
Christie and Jeff are the definition of perfection! They capture every natural moment, and make it so easy to just relax and have fun! I expected pose here, smile there... not them! They set you up for little activities throughout your session and catch your natural reactions to each other. We live out of state and we’re coming in over the winter holidays to visit with family and wanted to squeeze our engagement session in. After weather got our scheduled session cancelled I figured we would be out of luck, but most definitely not! They made sure that we found a time to get the most beautiful session done! We will forever cherish the memories they have blessed us with for the rest of our lives. NO QUESTION, CHOOSE CHRISTIE! 💕 -
