In short, working with Chris is the best experience I could have asked for. I am a former wedding photographer myself and had no doubts about choosing Chris for my own wedding. Every single detail was captured perfectly, and throughout the entire process from planning to the day of to delivery of photos, Chris was nothing less than prompt, courteous, responsive, professional, and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again! -

Stunning!!
Chris was absolutely everything I wanted in a wedding photographer. He exceeded my expectations in every way and I am so grateful to him that I now have beautiful wedding photos to look back on. When planning my wedding, one of my top priorities was to have an amazing photographer who captured people so beautifully through their lens. I discovered Chris, who also happened to be one of Sherwood Country Club's preferred vendors, and fell in love with his work. This is who I wanted for my wedding. I booked Chris and what was so great was that he also included an engagement photo session in our package! Throughout our wedding, Chris was everywhere taking photos! I had people comment how him and Andrea were always taking photos and capturing the whole event. I love Chris' direction and eye for photos - my husband and I felt at ease when taking photos with him and never felt awkward. When I got my wedding photos back, I was beyond moved and so happy that I chose Chris. They were absolutely stunning and I now have beautiful wedding photos to show my children and grandchildren. I'll definitely be using Chris in the future and recommending him to friends and family. Bottom line - if you want photos that are gorgeous and breathtaking, hire Chris hands down! -

We absolutely love our photos from Chris! He captured every moment of our special day and the photos are incredible - I can't stop looking at them. He also made the time fun! My husband and I aren't used to getting photographed, but Chris kept us smiling and moving and enjoying our time together. He also got us a sneak peak within days of the wedding and the full album in just a couple weeks.
Chris did our engagement photos, wedding day photos, and our rehearsal dinner. The best one stop shop for all our wedding events! -

Chris is a beyond talented photographer. He is creative and it shows in all of his photos- all of them so unique. He was able to capture my vision of a high fashion wedding seamlessly and he was so fun to collaborate with- he listens. All of our shots are editorial/ magazine worthy and I could not be happier. Definitely book Chris if you want photographer who is passionate about his work, creative with his shots and dedicated to the art of capturing your wedding!! -

Chris was so helpful from our first conversation. He made recommendations on our timeline based on what photos we wanted to get and was able to accommodate a very last minute add on for a videographer! The photos he took are absolutely breathtaking; I want to frame every single one of them! He helped us loosen up in front of the camera, and all the shots look natural. I can't recommend him enough! -

I found Chris Schmitt because two of my bridesmaids used him for their weddings, and I loved their photos. Chris is an outstanding photographer in every way -- kind, artistic, easy to work with, energetic, passionate, but most importantly SO TALENTED!!! I had a NYE wedding at Casa Del Mar on the beach, and my wedding sneak peek photos are truly insane. Everyone keeps commenting on them and asking who my photographer was. Chris and his wife did the most beautiful job directing us on the wedding day, and he sent my husband and I our photos in a very timely manner, which we so appreciated. Chris was also very organized on the day. We went through our wedding party shots and family shots with lots of time to spare so I could go relax right before my ceremony. Lastly, not only did Chris do our wedding photos, he also shot our engagement photos in Malibu, which are equally as stunning. Hire Chris Schmitt for your big day and you won't regret it! -

Chris was amazing to work with! He was so quick to respond to emails and was always flexible with what I needed on the day of as well as making our album. We love all of our photos and truly have a full day of photos that he captured. Our album is beautiful and tells our wedding day story perfectly! We loved working with Chris and would recommend him 10x over!! -

Outstanding!
I can't say enough about Chris and his team. Our plans were impacted and changed significantly for many reasons, but he was incredibly patient and compassionate and determined to make our moment(s) unforgettable. Because of all of the changes our event was a little chaotic, but his team rolled with it and made it fun. . they even captured great shots of several that "hate to be photographed!" I lead with our experience because it was so unexpected from what I had encountered with photographers in the past. . but this was just the bonus to their INCREDIBLE work! We had our photos back right away and with the work of a perfectionist. I was looking for a balance of candid and creative .. and there are just way too many to choose from!
Chris Schmitt Photography is by far the best out there. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend them to make your moment unforgettable the way they did ours! -

My fiancé and I had an engagement photo shoot with Chris on April 10 at the Arboretum in Arcadia, CA. Chris immediately made us feel at ease and comfortable and when giving us direction. We had so much fun during the shoot, and we were amazed at how quickly Chris turned the photos around. They are stunning! We loved the experience and photos so much that we have hired Chris for our wedding day in October. Highly recommend! -

They were so Professionally and their personalitys,were so Amazing, incredible Pictures Capturing such Amazing shoots of our Big Day. They felt like family they were their for me esp since my mom was in heaven, I was emotional, but Chris and Andrea, Made me feel better. Simply Wonderful Great People. We got our Pictures so fast. Highly recommend them.

Chris and his wife, Andrea, captured our wedding day perfectly and the pictures were absolutely breathtaking. We were blown away by his talent and artistic eye. From the start, Chris listened to our vision and made sure he captured every moment that was important to us. Even with a somewhat difficult venue, limited time, and a large wedding party, he was able to capture every singe moment with ease and professionalism. He and Andrea made the day super fun day and kept things moving along and never once felt rushed. Our wedding pictures turned out beautiful and we constantly get compliments on them. Working with Chris was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thank you both for helping make our day so perfect!

We were able to have an engagement photo session with Chris that was apart of our package so that we could meet before the big day which was super helpful! Throughout the wedding day, they were such a positive, happy, and fun team to have! They knew the venue well and where we would get the best photos. Our wedding photos were delivered to us so fast which was amazing because of the anticipation -- most of my friends who have been married had to wait months for their photos so we were lucky to receive them in less than 1 month! Most importantly, the photos were absolutely beautiful!!!! Chris and Andrea did the best job of truly capturing the day...from getting ready, to the ceremony, to the formals, and finally the reception and all our guests. I can't look through the photos without getting a huge smile on my face. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality wedding photographer -- you will not regret it!

I had to pick one date for this review, but, we use them all throughout the year! The work that they do is amazing and they capture every moment and detail in a unique and creative way that seals the memories for eternity. From our nervous anticipation before the first look, to the emotion of the ceremony. To the warmth and love of our friends and family at the reception. These pictures are simply perfect. I am so thankful to have such amazing memories documented in such a perfect way. The love that Chris and Andrea have for photography, and the love they have for each other, shows in every photograph. He was out of my price range by a bit and my husband wasn't looking to spend a lot for photography... after showing him Chris' work he finally gave in and I booked him. After everything I've done with Chris, engagement shoot, boudoir photos, wedding photos, trash the dress photos I've never been happier or wiser in my wedding investment than hiring Chris. He's such a professionala and a true artist at what he does. I highly recommend him to any bride out there! -

You can tell right away he and his wife Andrea are really good at wedding pictures. we met at their home and loved all the wedding albums and photos we saw----but when we got our pictures----WOW!!!! We were blown away! A brides dream come true is the only way to describe their photography service. We highly recommend you look at having Chris shoot for you!
