    Delicious and picturesque

    Erin makes beautiful cakes and pastries. The cake turned out exactly the way we pictured and was delicious! Erin is responsive and accommodating.

    Beautiful and Delicious!

    Erin created the most beautiful and DELICIOUS cake for us for our wedding day! She was easy to get in contact with prior to the wedding. We had a phone consultation to discuss our vision, and we were able to try the cake flavors prior to deciding which flavors we wanted for our wedding cake. On the wedding day, the cake arrived on time, and it was absolutely beautiful (exactly how we pictured). It was also SO good. I 100% recommend Erin and Chocolate Rose Bakeshop to everyone who wants a beautiful and delicious cake (or cupcakes) for their wedding.

    Amazing wedding cake & affordable!

    Delicious affordable wedding cake

    I am wayyyy over due in writing a review for Erin. She baked our cake for our wedding on 9/4/22 in Brooklyn, CT and her work is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND DELICIOUS. My husband and I wanted to support local businesses throughout our wedding journey and Erin's business fit that for us. Our tasting was at her home and learned that she bakes everything on her property.

    Erin took the time to understand our vision and present us with options. We decided on a three tiered naked cake with strawberry, lemon, and raspberry filling. All of which were well complimented by our guests. The best part was how affordable Erin was, since we didn't want to spend $500+ on a wedding cake.

    Service, Taste and Presentation Included

    The owner is pretty gosh darn amazing for being so flexible with so little time. Then the cherry on top was getting the presentation down exactly to what we dreamed the cake to look like… oh and taste like! The guests were looking for more! Try the lemon!!! I would go with this shop again and again!

    Amazing bakery

    Our guests absolutely loved our cupcakes that we chose to do for our special day. I am also so grateful to have been accommodated since I am dairy intolerant and was able to eat our wedding cake!

    Best wedding pies!

    Erin was so easy to work with! I got to meet with her months before the wedding to discuss my choice of dessert. I threw her a curveball and wanted her to make mini pies for our wedding since it was right around Christmas. HER PIES WERE TO DIE FOR!!! My guest absolutely loved them, some of my guests even had more than one! For our wedding favors, we asked Erin to make chocolate chip cookies, and let me tell you they were delicious. I highly recommend the Chocolate Rose Bakeshop.

    Highly recommend! The company and cakes are amazing!

    The Chocolate Rose Bakeshop is fantastic!! Erin was so kind and flexible for our COVID wedding, even with changed times, location, and cake size. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Our families raved about the flavors and we were supposed to save our top tier for the anniversary, but it is already gone! Highly recommend Chocolate Rose Bakeshop!

    Chocolate Rose Bakeshop made us the perfect cake for our winter wedding!

    Our Wedding cake by Chocolate Rose was exactly what I envisioned! Erin did a phenomenal job sculpting mountains onto our white buttercream cake. My husband was pulling people aside and showing it off all night before we cut into it! As beautiful as the cake looked it was just as delicious ! We were able to have the different layers as different flavors and our guests enjoyed being able to chose what slice of cake they wanted. We got nothing but compliments all night! We highly recommend Chocolate Rose Bakeshop

    Amazing! Erin is the best :)

    where do I even begin?! Erin is absolutely amazing. Quick to contact back, makes delicious cupcakes, and brings your cake/cupcake dreams to life. Everyone at my wedding is still talking about how delicious and beautiful the cupcakes were! I am so happy with how they turned out and I will definitely be using chocolate rose bakeshop for all my cake needs. Thank you again Erin for everything :)

    Great experience and delicious cake

    I don't consider myself a cake person but after our tasting my now husband and I were arguing who got to finish the remaining bites. Every flavor was delicious. The quality of work was outstanding. The cake was exactly as we wanted, if not better.

    Erin was so easy to work with. Even though I feel like I messaged her 100 times she always replied back professionally and kindly. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations and the pricing was extremely reasonable. I couldn't recommend Chocolate Bakeshop more!

    I got married at The Mansion at Bald Hill and the chocolate rose bakeshop made my cake!!!! Everybody raved about how delicious it was!

    Beautiful and delicious cakes

    I ordered cupcakes for tasting and then ordered our wedding cake. We had 2 tiers of yellow cake with strawberry filling and 1 tier of yellow cake with raspberry filling. All the tiers were iced with vanilla buttercream. Our cake was beautiful and was so moist and delicious. I will recommend Chocolate Rose Bakeshop over and over.

    May 4th Wedding in Mystic CT

    Erin is absolutely amazing! She made us the wedding cake of our dreams and was so amazing to work with. My fiancé likes chocolate and I like vanilla and she was able to make a cake with both flavors! Our guests raved about about amazing our cake looked and tasted. Her frosting is particularly out of this world. She also worked with us to stay within our budget by offering additional sheet cakes rather than increasing the size of the cake with was presents. She’s all around amazing 😊

    Declious and beautiful

    Chocolate Rose is the best! Our wedding cake, bridal shower cake and desserts were delicious! Vanessa and her team are easy to work with and very professional. Our cake was absolutely perfect and exactly what we wanted. We look forward to our one year anniversary cake and working with them again! Thank you!

    Everyone could not stop raving about the cupcakes at our wedding. They were so delicious and just the right size. Lots of choices in flavors which I particularly liked a lot. Would highly recommend.

    Erin was great to work with, she was very responsive! Our venue recommended Erin and we used the Chocolate Rose Bakeshop for our wedding and it was wonderful! So tasty, and received many compliments on the cake. I don't yet have a picture but I do know it looked as great as it tasted! So happy we went with Chocolate Rose Bakeshop!

    Erin made our wedding cake and cookie favors for our guests. The cake was beautifully decorated to our specifications and it was delicious as well. She was accommodating and willing to make the favors with less than two weeks notice (that was my bad). I would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of treats for their event.

    Chocolate Rose Bakeshop was suggested to me through my venue and we could not be happier with the turn out. From the start Erin was very responsive and helpful with all of the questions and ideas I had. We decided to do a cupcake tower which turned out beautifully and the cupcakes were to die for they were so flavorful and moist. All of the guests were raving about the cupcakes. We also did the Venetian Platter with eclairs, Italian cookies and fruit tartlets. Of of which was delicious. Erin did such a nice job preparing the cupcake tower and the desserts we had. My husband also got an apple pie instead of cake which he was very pleased about. Thank you so much Erin!!!!
