  Chillingsworth is a wonderful Brewster establishment with a fine reputation.
  It is well known locally that The cuisine at Chillingsworth is what makes it so special.
  Nitzi, the owner is a creative and experienced chef who prepares both familiar and more unique dishes with the same ease.
  We chose Chillingsworth to cater our community fundraising event for our Club because we knew the guests would appreciate and enjoy the menu selections. We trusted Nitzi to select and prepare what he knew would work best for the reception. We wanted to avoid using plates and silverware and were happy that every election could be served from trays, with only napkins needed.
  The array of hors d' oeuvres was wonderful including crab cakes, grilled shrimp, steak quesadillas, crostini, fish, mac and cheese, short ribs, chicken in phyllo and others that I can't recall now.
  Our guests commented on the quality of food and the service and so we were delighted that the Event was a success!.

  Chillingsworth recently catered a cocktail reception for 250 guests which was enjoyed by everyone. The variety and quality of the many hors d'oeurves was wonderful. The professional service by the staff was appreciated. Both hot & cold Tuscan-themed selections were creative and tasty.
  The artichoke crostini was especially delicious.

  A uniquely historic and beautiful venue! Chillingsworth has everything you could want for an indoor or outdoor wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception there, which made it so easy for us and for our guests. Not to mention that the food is exceptional and the service is outstanding.

  My wife and I were fortunate enough to have both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Chillingsworth on the 24th of September. The venue and staff were amazing; the building a quaint 300 year old east coast home. For the rehearsal chefs Nitzi and Dan prepared a six course tasting menu that was to die for, fresh seafood and produce, served efficiently and professionally. The ceremony was the next day, on site on the sprawling lawns, with passed HD's and two separate bars outside, not including the main bar inside.
  
  We absolutely recommend Chilllinsworth for either a wedding or a rehearsal dinner both for the quality of service and food (of course), but also the value. They have everything you need on hand; staff, silver, plates etc. this means you won't have to pay rental companies, which is a huge value. We also had them take care of the flowers (except for the bouquet) and our wedding cake! The site is beautiful, the staff is professional, there is little hassle with regards to rentals...it truly was an amazing day, and an amazing site.

  Chillingsworth is not only superb in every way, it is also a unique venue; truly one of a kind. The 300 year old house where the restaurant is located has marvelous charm and sophistication. It has gorgeous antiques adorning walls and beautiful furniture. It is an extremely gracious and warm setting. The food is outstanding and this is the only wedding venue that not only allowed, but encouraged, choices of several appetizers and entrees. We chose 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. Each guest had a printed menu at his place and ordered one appetizer and entree from the three choices we had chosen with the chef/owner. The owners of this marvelous venue are Pat and Nitzi Rabin. They are highly experienced and were fully engaged with all plans and suggestions for my daughter's wedding at Chillingsworth. There is beautiful outdoor space as well. We had cocktails and appetizers in a lovely outdoor area behind the house followed by a fabulous dinner inside. Nitzi Rabin is a master chef and no detail is overlooked. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation superb! Our guests were enthralled with the level of food preparation and presentation. So Chillingswoth has a gorgeous venue, both indoors and outside. In addition, Nitzi Rabin the owner and chef provides outstanding food preparation and service. His wife and co-owner, Pat, is an outstanding hostess, floral arranger, and pastry chef in addition to being a delightful and engaging person. I cannot think of 1 negative statement to be make about this marvelous restaurant. I would strongly recommend Chillingsworth for anyone who is interested in an elegant and delicious wedding reception. Having recently attended another wedding at Chillingsworth where the ceremony was also performed outside, it was all perfection!
