There are wedding photographers, and then there is Richard!
Words cannot express how grateful I am that I hired them to capture my engagement photo shoot and wedding day! I would not consider myself a photogenic person and communicated that I was nervous and may need some guidance around poses etc. He assured me that he would provide support and direction as needed. Richard’s attention to detail is impeccable. He pays attention even down to the finger nails. He has a vision and is not afraid to do what it takes to get a shot.
Richard starts “journaling with light” from the very moment you meet him. He is super professional and punctual. In Boston, there are some beautiful yet busy places. Although this is not his home town, I was incredibly impressed by his ability to take a novice setting and capture the essence of what that place meant to us. At the engagement photoshoot, I was so blown away by his attention to detail that I just knew those photos would be amazing and he did not disappoint. He delivered hundreds of pictures that were all magazine worthy. It quickly became clear to my husband and I (and my other vendors) that we would not have a wedding day if he was not a part of it. We added extra time in our schedule to get more opportunities to take photos with him.
Fast forward to June 2021, Richard provided the same quality, professionalism and excellence as he did during the engagement shoot. He worked well with all of my vendors, family and friends. He was able to capture great photos of my brother who has autism. Even my father in law, who was a wedding photographer for 30 years, was very impressed and said “ It is very clear that Richard knows what he’s doing. His vision is impeccable.”
While taking pictures in a secluded garden might be okay, taking pictures in Downtown Boston on Boylston Street (on the day of a Red Sox game!) can be chaotic! However, this challenge did not intimidate Richard. He did such an amazing job creating peace on such a busy street. I am grateful to have photos of us literally stopping traffic with our love. -

Stunning Photos
Richard is a true artist and an absolute professional with years of experience at a very reasonable price. During our engagement photo shoot, he showed us the amazing work that he his capable of, and he exceeded our expectations when it came to the wedding day. He arrived on time with an assistant to help him get the best lighting. He made sure to get all the important shots without getting in the way of the action. He was easy going as we created and changed the schedule for the day of the wedding. Most importantly, he captured so much joy and beauty in his shots. He ended up editing and delivering way more photos than he promised and sent them to us in a digestible online platform. Even after years of working in the industry, Richard brings his passion and love for photography to each event. Not only did he make the day easy for us, but it even seemed like he was having a great time doing what he loves! -
