Best DJ for a High School Graduation.

We had heard about Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJ thru friends about a year ago. From the time of contact with Marcus in the beginning when we were trying to figure out price what this Marcus had to offer to hiring him and having him at our event....it was soooo professional and he worked the crowd and got everyone dancing and involved. We had a house graduation of a little over 150 people. All ages and the dance floor was packed.
We highly recommend using Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJ for your event.

The Master DJ

We booked Marcus last year for our July 18, 2020 wedding but pandemic hit and we needed to postponed up to this year of August 21, 2021. He was very understanding of the situation but very sad for what had happened to his industry too. Pandemic crippled all the industries especially the entertainment industry, but despite of that MARCUS WINDSOR still managed to GAVE us THE BEST PARTY EVER last Saturday!!!
I received a Lot of compliments about our DJ! How nice he was, how organized he was, and how he was present and has presence of mind during an emotional like this. Marcus is great and He's really the Master DJ! He knows when to set up the mood and able to get everyone in the dance floor and have fun! He's a genuinely good person. He helped us to find some decorations for our reception (because the decorator Ive found online that we hired and we paid wasn't replyng anymore!) and he found us a very talented ice sculptor. I wished I coordinated everything with Marcus so I didn't had to worry about other things anymore about the wedding . We Trust him 100%. If you're looking for a DJ that would give you the party that you want, you want to get this man. He's very easy to talk to, replies right away and he (always) answered my calls regardless of the time we've called him, he has the system that was easy to navigate to organize all the songs you wanted to play on your event, his sound systems was good. If you have questions about Wedding or Event stuff, ask Marcus and He's able to help you and give you some good people to do the designated jobs. He has good connection because this guy has been in this industry for 18 years, doing his dream job and will show up eventhough it's his birthday.

Marcus the DJ master

I loved working with Marcus. Tyler and i felt so lucky to have come across such an amazing DJ. He is experienced, professional, dedicated, and passionate about his work. From the get go his priority was helping Tyler and I have a relaxing and fun experience. He had no problem taking control of the day of activities and coordinating everything. He met with us a few days before and was in constant contact with me for any questions or concerns. He even took the time to think of perfect song choices for everything from our intros to pizza cutting at the end of the night. His energy and enthusiasm was infectious. All in all he made our day perfect. Outstanding Non-For-Profit Event Service

Chicago Mobile DJs provided music and MC services to the LJ's Healing Hearts annual fundraising event in August of 2018. We reached out to Chicago Mobile DJs with little lace time due to a last minute cancelation from another vendor. They were extremely gracious in working with us for a very low fee since we are a non-for-profit foundation, and provided outstanding service in a short amount of time. Not only was Marcus extremely professional and helpful with the final planning stages of our event to tie all of our production services together (music, slideshow, etc.), his MC expertise allowed us to bring in more money on raffles and silent auctions than we had in previous events. Thanks to Marcus and Chicago Mobile DJs, our fundraiser was a huge success!!!

Marcus was fantastic! He has performed at our family Christmas gathering (over 80 in attendance) and just performed at my mothers surprise birthday party (over 80 in attendance). He is professional, very responsive to emails/texts and phone call if you have any questions. He has great taste in music and is excellent at feeling out the room and going with what is getting your guests onto the dance floor and having a great time! We have many children at our events and he provides the perfect mix of music for them and for the grown ups! Will most definitely use him again! Highly recommend!

Marcus was incredible!!! The DJ was one of the most challenging vendors to choose for our wedding, knowing we had very diverse music preferences in our group and knowing the DJ is the heartbeat of the party. We were referred to Marcus from a coworker who used him at their wedding and they said the dance floor was packed all night. The same was true for our wedding. Marcus allows you to create a play and do not play list, which we had some suggestions in both those categories. After meeting with Marcus, my bride and I saw how much he really cares about our night being a huge success, and gained full trust in him. Our philosophy was to let Marcus feel the room and play what got the crowd going, and he did not disappoint. We had everybody out there dancing, from our elderly Aunts and Uncles to college students. He did so much more than just play music… he filled the room with energy and set the tone of the entire evening, he was our time keeper, and he also played attorney as he advised us to ask the venue to extend our time (and open bar) due to their delay in getting the food out, which they did!
I cannot say enough good things about Marcus. If you want one less thing to worry about on your wedding day, I strongly recommend Marcus, because I can guarantee that the DJ will not be one of them!

My wedding was a bit unexpectedly stressful: the decisions and $$thrown down was more than we knew when my husband proposed. On behalf of myself and Evan.. Marcus Windsor (Chicago Mobile DJs).. you were our lucky star. Day of: you calmed me, brought us snacks during photog shoots, served us our dinner drinks to our table (when our venue didn't), bustled my dress (whoa??), and we got SO many compliments on our DJ. You kept me in check on the timeline and how guests were/weren't diggin my music requests. You were literally my day-of wedding planner: OH, and you captured so many camera shots that my photog didn't. Marcus, you KNOW weddings and u care and you're beyond pro. Marcus did an absolutely great job at all three of my Christmas parties. Each party he brought so much energy and great music to the party. He came well equipped with music for everyone, great sounding speakers and lights to create just the right atmosphere for a night full of dancing! He was receptive to our requests and he was attentive to how the party was going. His experience and talent came into play at the right moments when the parties needed it the most. Marcus DJ'd our wedding this November and he did an outstanding job! I had attended two other amazing receptions that he dj'd, and he definitely came through for ours. He is so easy to work with and really listened to my husband and my wants and musical tastes. He even agreed to play an hour+ later than normal to keep our party going. We had such a fun dance party at our wedding and Marcus was a huge part of that! Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Our DJ, Marcus, was a FABULOUS choice! From booking to the final event, Marcus was with us every step of the way. Booking was incredibly easy. He has an excellent website that allows you to pick songs that you want to hear, tell him which ones not to play (very important), and the names of the important people (mother of bride etc). The actual event went off without a hitch. Upon his arrival, Marcus found me to let me know he was there and ready to go. Not only did he keep things running smoothly all night, he even took over 300 pictures of the wedding celebration for us! I mean...booking with Chicago Mobile DJ's (and asking for Marcus) is a no-brainer for your wedding!

Marcus is great! He is so professional, easy to work with and you can tell he loves what he does. He takes requests, but didnt play anything my husband and I already indicated we didn't want played. Everyone had a great time at my wedding and the dance floor was never empty. He does a great job introducing the wedding party and makes sure to say everyone's name correctly. He also takes a ton of pictures of everyone dancing, so it was nice to be able to see those the next day since the photographer pictures will take longer. Marcus was the DJ at two of my friends wedding, my sisters wedding and is also going to be the DJ at my younger sister's upcoming wedding and another friends upcoming wedding. He is amazing and I would totally recommend him.

I held a birthday party for my husband, Marcus came highly recommended by the venue I utilized. He is very easy to work with and his web site as well. I picked out all of the songs with my daughter, everyone had a great time and were on their feet dancing. He is very friendly with the attendees at the party as well. Getting to their request.

Marcus did an amazing job as DJ for our wedding. As an older couple, the average age of our guests was about 40 but we had some younger people as well. Marcus was expert at reading the crowd, playing the music that always kept the dance floor crowded. I heard from many guests that this was the best wedding they'd ever attended and a lot of that credit goes to Marcus and Chicago Mobile DJS. Marcus was the DJ at our wedding on 6/27/15. Marcus was always professional and accommodating. He checked on us throughout the evening and even brought us hors d’oeurvres to make sure we got to enjoy some during our cocktail hour. He did an amazing job making sure everything ran on schedule and got everyone dancing and having a great time. Marcus also posted tons of great pictures after the event. Marcus was the DJ at my wedding this past weekend. He was incredible and exceeded our expectations. Marcus was involved from the very start and made the planning process easy enjoyable. Marcus was absolutely incredible! Not only did he play an assortment of music to our liking and taste, he had dance lights that helped to light up the dance floor, he was helpful before and throughout the wedding, and he caught all the pictures the photographer missed. We only had one photographer, so Marcus took it upon himself to take over 700 pictures (all of which he had posted to FB the next morning) including the super special moment of me getting ready to walk down the aisle with my dad.

Marcus was always available to talk beforehand if I needed too and insisted we talked everything through about a week prior. He is informed whenever you login to his website, and he will reach out just in case you have any questions. He was also great at stepping into action and giving direction when needed.

He really likes to be involved in your special day, and gets just about as excited as you are. Marcus was definitely the right choice for us!

Marcus is a GREAT DJ and MC! Right from the beginning when I first contacted him, we talked for a very long time and he seemed like a great fit for our wedding. Throughout the planning process Marcus checked to see if he need help with anything or if we had questions. He helped plan the schedule of the reception and gave very good advice and recommendations based on his experiences. The day of our wedding, Marcus was on time, very professional and made sure things ran smoothly. I asked him to play our ceremony music too and he made things run perfectly, without having to be reminded of anything! During the reception he was always checking to see if I was ready for the next planned thing and even brought us drinks a couple times. He also did our up lighting and it stayed on the entire night! All of my guests mentioned to me that they loved what a great job Marcus did and my girlfriends are using them for their upcoming weddings! If you want a great DJ & MC that will leave you worry free, Marcus is your guys! I highly recommend him!

Marcus is a wonderful DJ! Our event planner was not able to make it to our wedding and my husband and I were completely clueless of how the night would go. Marcus stepped up and guided us throughout the night. We are completely grateful that Marcus not only did the job of the DJ but also he took place as our event planner guiding us throughout the night.

He got majority of our guests out on the dance floor-which was awesome!! I want to have another wedding so that I can have Marcus DJ it :)

Marcus DJ's my brother wedding and did an amazing job. When my now husband and I got engaged, once we set the date, we called to book Marcus; we didn't even shop around. He was affordable and did such a great job keeping everyone's interest throughout the night. The dance floor was packed until we pretty much told our guests that it was time to go home. We have already recommended Chicago Mobile DJ's to close friends and they are using them this upcoming May for their wedding. I know that they won't be disappointed.

Not only did Marcus and Dan provide excellent music and impeccable MC services for our wedding, but when the manager of our wedding venue went missing in action, Marcus picked up the pieces and helped get things organized and back on track. Marcus was beyond flexible and accommodating to our crazy situation. He answered promptly when texted or emailed. He prepared a beautiful slide show, even though some of our photos were not submitted until just days before the wedding. He worked with me, the mother of the bride, at my level of technical ability. He was kind to the grad-school-bride-with-no-time-to-direct.
Dan arrived early and set up in a challenging venue with no complaints. He played classy upbeat songs at first, creating an elegant but fun mood for dinner and conversation. He synched our photos of the bride and her dad with their chosen song for the Dad/Daughter dance and it was so sweet! Then, when it was time to rock it, the music brought the guests to their feet. Everybody looked happy. Dan played the best songs from four decades - we couldn't be more pleased.

Marcus kept my mind at ease throughout the entire year of planning our wedding. He was available to talk to at any time and answer any questions I had. The day and night of the wedding he kept everything running smoothly, and rocked it out during the dance portion of the night! Every single one of our guests (young and old) had nothing but good things to say about Marcus and the music he played. Our day was perfect in large part to Marcus and Chicago Mobile DJ`s. We really can't say enough great things about the job Marcus did for our wedding. His website was incredibly easy to use and allowed us to pick out some of our 'must-play' songs ahead of time. When our venue experienced a technical issue that prevented us from showing a slideshow we'd spent a great deal of time creating, Marcus came up with a solution for us instantly. He kept the dance floor moving all night and was great with both kids and adults. We would HIGHLY recommend him for any event!

Marcus did an incredible job as DJ of our wedding. We had a lot of different ideas to throw at him including traditional greek wedding dances, a tribute to our alma mater, and a surprise serenade for the bride. Marcus was great! He was so helpful to us!! We are a couple that doesn't have a clue about favorite songs or playlists that we wanted to inlcude, Maurcus was able to help us with the ceremony music to the introduction music! Everyone said they loved the DJ and they couldn't help but dance to almost every song. I give Marcus is excellent rating, I danced all night! I recently had Dan as the DJ for my wedding. He was AWESOME! Everyone loved him and his music. He was very professional and took the time to seek out myself and the groom to discuss last minute details. He even participated in the speech given at dinner, playing old school music that went along with the toast that was being given. It was great.
He was there early to set up and go over details, which I really appreciated as that day I was very anxious. Since the wedding I have had so many compliments on the music! I would gladly recommend Chicago Mobile DJ's to anyone in need of a DJ!

Marcus is such an amazing DJ! Throughout the whole process he was so attentive to any concern or question. If I emailed him he'd call me with an answer no matter what time it was or what day! If your looking for affordable DJ that loves what he does and really cares about making your night truely about you and your husband he is your man! I love how he took as much or as little control as needed at the right times to create a stress free day. He also has these cool mood lights that we had in the tent (the tent was white and the lights were blue) for when the party gets into full dance mode! Thank you truely, Marcus. My DJ, Dan, was absolutely wonderful! He made sure that the music was always appropriate - sound, volume, mood, etc. He and the owner (Marcus) showed up during the rehearsal to inspect the facility and speak with me about music options and finalize song choices for specific parts of the ceremony, dinner, and reception. Marcus Windsor was our DJ for the wedding. He had a fantastic array of music to choose from. He was extremely helpful in the organizing of the reception and was so on top of everything it was amazing. You meet Marcus and you can tell that that guy LOVES HIS JOB and he is EXTREMELY good at it! He even took pictures and posted them on facebook for me to see. At one point a drink was dropped on the dance floor and there was glass and mess and Marcus took it upon himself to clean it up. That was not his responsibility. I woud recommend Chicago Mobile DJs to EVERYONE because you will not be dissappointed!

Dan Esculara from Chicago Mobile DJs was excellent to work with. He DJ'd my daughters wedding on Saturday 6/23/12 and was very professional and attentive. He came over several times to check with us if everything was to our liking and to make sure he played anything anyone wanted. The Groom really liked his profrossionalism. The best thing is he kept the dance floor rocking all night long. There was never a time that the dance for didn't have people dancing. That in itself says alot about a GOOD DJ. People were dancing all night and that made it a best wedding. THANKS DAN YOU ROCK!!!!

Marcus DJ'd my sisters wedding back in June 2007... I immediately made a new friend! DJ was the most amazing DJ I have ever seen in my life. He truly was a HUGE part in making my sister's wedding the biggest success... and that is why you can find a few pictures of her wedding on Marcus' website!!! I knew that I wanted Marcus to DJ my wedding... whenever that would be. We have always stayed in contact, and finally the time has come for my wedding! Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJs service was above and beyond what we had contracted. When he says he is there to help in any way possible, he means it. He provided input on the layout of the rooms, suggestions for how the evening should flow, and helped us put on a wonderful event! He took our powerpoint presentation, 3 videos, and photos and put them into one format so we did not have to go back and forth from one format to another. The evening was flawless. Marcus at Chicago Mobile DJs was fabulous! I had no clue where to even start and I was overwhelmed. His website had an outline for the ceremony and reception which helped me tremendously. It also had a countdown to the wedding! Marcus was available anytime I called and he talked me through a lot! I revised my outline several times and he was on top of it. I had full confidence in him.
It rained that day and our wedding was outside! Marcus was prepared to perform the the ceremony music inside or outside...we had it outside in the gazebo (everyone was in the gazebo) and the music was still on que. Outstanding!
The reception was a blast. He provided lights and karaoke in case someone wanted to sing. "Love Shack" was sung by my son and his girlfriend and it was so much fun! It really got the party rolling. I recommend Marcus wholeheartedly.

Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJ's is INCREDIBLE to work with. Marcus was the DJ at our wedding a few weeks ago and blew me away with the quality of his service, his responsiveness, professionalism, cost, and more importantly his talent and demeanor. Marcus was originally recommended to me by a friend who used him at her wedding. She had nothing but good things to say about him. From the moment I called him I knew that I wanted to work with him. He was very professional, but also easy going. As someone who is very organized and anal I was very impressed by his online website which allows you to input the music for the event from start to finish and make different play lists (must play, do not play). ALso, although Marcus has what seems like a bazillion songs in his music inventory, if he does not have a particular song and you request it, he will add it. I also had a very long engagement and Marcus would call from time to time just to check in and see how things were going. I was amazed by how well he treats his clients. Needless to say the day of the wedding I was blown away. Marcus was able to read the crowd perfectly and knew what songs to play where. The dance floor was NEVER empty. He was very friendly with the guests and even took the time to seek out the photographer and the day of coordinator and made sure that nobody missed any important moments (cake cutting, first dance, etc...) He would literally walk around telling people "O.k. time for the first dance" etc...to make sure everyone was around. He really did go above and beyond his "DJ" duties and i would highly recommend his services. I know that if I ever happen to need a DJ in the future I will definitely call Marcus.

Marcus was everything we could have asked for in a DJ. His price was very reasonable and you can tell that he genuinely loves his job. He checked in with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure that everything was going smoothly and to see if we had any questions. On the day of the wedding we started getting comments on how great the music was before dinner even started! The great feedback continued throughout the night and the dance floor was packed until the lights came on. I will be recommending him to anyone in need of a DJ.

I'd actually give Chicago Mobile DJs a 6 out of 5 for all categories if that was possible!!
We just had our wedding on New Year's Eve 2010!! Marcus from Chicago Mobile DJs was there for us and we could not have been any happier!!! Every single person there raved about how much they liked the music including several of our friends ...who don't usually dance but just couldn't help themselves that evening! Marcus is more than "just a dj"- he helped in the coordination of so much of the night but did it all with such an easygoing style! It's like talking to one of your best friends! What a memory and attention to detail too!! Mention a song once or even on the fly the day of the wedding and he'll make sure it happens! If you're looking for an AMAZING evening of music and fun- Marcus is your man!!!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding on October 23rd 2010 a the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant on Michigan Avenue. We had Chicago Mobile DJs do our wedding. It was awesome! My husband and I were very picky about the music we wanted to hear for our wedding and we actually sat down one day and picked all of the songs we wanted to hear. Marcus did an amazing job of playing our most favorite songs at the perfect times. He also threw in a couple songs that were perfect at other times, such as during cocktail hour, which were very classy and jazzy sophisticated. It gave my wedding such a perfect vibe. He was also more than willing to take the requests of my guests. My wedding turned out great! Of course it helped that my guests rocked but I owe a lot of it to Marcus for pulling it all together. I cannot speak ENOUGH about how wonderful Chicago Mobile DJ's are. From the VERY start Marcus was there to answer all my questions...concerns...etc. He ALWAYS returned my calls, emails, etc. No matter what time of day, etc. His partner John was kind of enough to come to our rehearsal and practice, and was AMAZING at the wedding, every single thing was perfect. Marcus also did an amazing slide show for Greg and I that brought tears to my eyes-his attention to detail is stunning and it is very apparent that he REALLY loves what he does and takes great pride in it. I am even happier to say that at the end of this experience I feel like I gained a friend, rather than just working with a vendor. If you want a personal, wonderful, drama free experience, please do yourself a favor and call Chicago Mobile DJ's-you will NOT regret it.

Dan was our DJ for the wedding at Pinstripes in South Barrington. He did a great job! His professionalism and expertise in the music field assured us our guests would be up and dancing alot of the night!

Marcus was an amazing dj at our wedding in august. He was well prepared and helped us every step of the way. Not only was he amazing at his job he also went above and beyond our expectations. I had some trouble with my video not playing before the guest arrived and it was Marcus who came to the rescue and helped me. To this day I still recommend him to every bride I talk to. He's amazing at reasing a crowd. Everyone had a blast and I can't thank him enough.

Apparently there was a family emergency with our original dj so another one had to step in last minute which was nice. He was very professional and was flexible.

Marcus was a pleasure to work with for our wedding in June. He was flexible meeting us with after hours and spent a lot of time showing us the software he utilizes to customize your wedding music selection. In addition Marcus also had some great suggestions on somethings we missed. For example.........cake cutting music. Didn't even think about it until Marcus brought it up! If you are looking for a fun & personable DJ look no further! Highly recommend him.

Marcus was fantastic! Wonderful to work with, reasonably priced, easily our favorite vendor from our wedding. I love that he easily took the reigns and got our bridal party together when after they've been drinking it's like herding cats. He nailed all of the introductions, made sure we were comfortable in the pace of things, and made our reception so much fun! My only gripe is I wish I heard more of the songs that we requested but I understand that it's really up to the DJ and that's what you pay them for, lol! Thanks so much Marcus, we'd recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ.

We used Chicago Mobile Djs for our wedding in November 2016. He was recommended to us by someone. Marcus was great. We had his worker Dan djing for us. Dan was awesome and received lots of compliments from people. They loved the music he played. He organized the event in a proper manner that made everything go very smooth. Marcus is very easy to work with and will try his best to satisfy customers. I definitely reccomend Chicago Mobile Djs.

We couldn't have been happier working with Marcus on our wedding music. He is extremely prepared and spends a lot of time planning with you. This was great because we didn't want to think about the music at the wedding. We had unique music tastes (very diverse) and he played only music we liked. He also coached us on what most couples do - we had no idea - so he helped modify tradition to meet our needs. He really CARES about people and making it the event you envision. He wanted to know who our guests were, how they were important to us, and how to make them feel special too. We consider Marcus to be a friend now, and we plan to use him for future events and recommend him to anyone. Oh he also went above and beyond helping us with running a video and managing the sound system for us. We had a small technical glitch which took him a while to fix, but that could've happened to anyone. Great guy, great business, great price!

Always available and professional prior to wedding. During the wedding, he was prompt, friendly to the guests and listened to all of our requests. In addition, his song library is massive and the sound system is rocking. Finally, his website is awesome and allowed us to peruse millions of songs and watch videos as well! Definitely recommend!

Marcus took care of us and our guests wonderfully! He made sure the dance floor was always hopping and took care of all our guests requests. He even fielded some last minute changes to our announcements and some last minute microphone mishaps. He made sure my husband and I were comfortable with the flow of the evening and really left us at ease. Plus, he took over 100 pictures of the evening and shared them with us!
