I could not have asked for a better crew for our special day! They arrived punctual to our hotel room to get special moments of the ladies getting ready, while the other crew was at the church getting ready to film! They fulfilled my biggest wish of wanting the whole ceremony filmed, but also had a special added note from our loved ones on marriage to start our video. I am so lucky to have this to cherish for the rest of our marriage!

Best decision we made!
Scott and Javi came highly recommended and blew us away. They captured our wedding with so much heart that looking at our photos and video brings us right back to the day every time.
They caught every moment beautifully —the venue, the big emotional moments, the tiny details, and all the candid memories in between.
The video is professionally done and edited with the music from our ceremony , it felt so personal. So many have said they regret not getting videography, I totally understand now.
Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We’ll cherish these photos and video forever.

Fantastic team
We loved working with Scott and Javi! We had our wedding at Eagle Ridge and Chicago Cinematic Weddings was one of their top recommended vendors. Scott was very attentive with communication. I had many questions and specific requests that he knocked out of the park. Javi was super friendly and kept us at ease and loose while he partnered with our photographer to capture those pre ceremony moments. The end results were fabulous! The highlight video was customized to our preferences (we were asked to provide a song list for them to curate from for different moments in the video). The full length video included all the moments we asked for. The videos were mailed to us on a usb in a customized box which was a very nice touch. I can’t recommend Chicago Cinematic Weddings enough, they were super professional and excellent to work with.

Outdoor Weddings
Scott and his crew provided our family with a wonderful wedding video experience. This was the 2nd wedding Chicago Cinematic Weddings has done for our family. Both were held outside one in the spring and one in the fall at the same location and Scott was up to the challenges of the lighting and wind coming off a near by bluff. Even the reception with the lighting challenges and one of the receptions was held in two different rooms, but Scott again was up to the challenge and provided in a wonderful video for our family to treasure for years to come.

Book Them If You Can!
We are so thankful we picked CCW for our video! The video is our favorite memento from our wedding day. Quality of service is not in doubt here! Scott and Barb did a fantastic job. They were not intrusive to the day and captured every special moment! They made good use of the time when the bus was 45 minutes late and were flexible and flowed with he day.
The editing is on point! My wife and I were overwhelmed with the surprise custom touch they put into the video. Again, quality and value are top notch! We just can't say thank you enough.

Amazing Videos!
Absolutely fantastic! They are wonderful to work with. This company did my friend's wedding video and after seeing how incredible hers turned out, I knew immediately we had to hire them for our wedding. We just received our highlights video and I'm in awe! I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more. It is a video we will treasure forever and watch again and again for decades to come. A mother of the bride viewpoint
Chicago Cinematic weddings put a wonderful montage of our daughter and son in law’s wedding. The most important thing to me was that they melted into the wedding scene with little to no intrusiveness. Their creative ability to get video content from various angles really stood out. We did include a drone which truly added a wonderful perspective to the event being recorded. They are very professional and are receptive to your thoughts and ideas.

AMAZING Experience !
Barb & Scott captured our wedding exactly how we envisioned. Working with them & their assistant was an absolute blessing. They were very communicative, easy going & fun to work with. They’ve worked with almost all of my husband’s family members with their weddings & did not disappoint with ours!
Was a little nervous because I’m a little uneasy in front of cameras, but they both made the experience so comfortable. They managed to get shots of things we didn’t even think of, but are so happy they did. Things like different angles in the church, the utilization of the drone capturing our car as we drove away (didn’t think we’d want a drone but am SO happy they have one!), and capturing family/friends emotions through film. Those are just a few examples of the many. They’re all small details, but they’re the big points of the night that encapsulate everything we want to remember.

Wedding Day Videography
We started looking for videographers essentially almost 2 years before our wedding. Needless to say, Scott was there for us throughout our entire planning process always answering my many questions in a timely manner. The day of the wedding Scott & Javi were a delight to work with. Both of them made us very comfortable and we really enjoyed having them be a part of our day. Couldn't recommed CCW more! Scott was easy to talk to and communicative leading up to our wedding day and found us drone coverage which was a big want for us. The final product included a highlight video and full cut. They were polished and edited together so well. Between the music and seeing the intimate moments and speeches again was so meaningful. Highly recommend!! Beautiful work! Scott, Javi, and Kevin were the best crew to spend the day with my husband and I. Scott, was always more than willing to answer any text/phone call for my million questions, he never made me feel like I was an annoyance. Stop right here and book. I have been working with Scott and Barb since day one of wedding planning. The easiest, laid back, greatest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Anything I wanted or needed was done no hesitation, they answered all and every one of my questions some not even having to do with videography! They did our wedding October 2021 and I couldn’t be more impressed or pleased. Both the highlight and video are amazing and brought me to instant tears. I would hire them over and over again.
This company was recommended to us by another videographer who was booked the day of our wedding, and we have no regrets about booking them! First, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19 and Scott was very accommodating. He was absolutely incredible to work with and made everything so easy. Scott and the second videographer went above and beyond, giving us posing instructions, finding scenery for photographs, and including small details from our day in the video highlight. My husband and I were comfortable with the videographers and that was a huge relief for me, since cameras are not my thing! Our highlight is just perfect--I wouldn't change a thing about it. I would recommend Chicago Cinematic Weddings to everyone for their weddings! (The picture included is actually a screenshot from our highlight video!)

Scott and his team at Chicago Cinamatic Weddings did a fantastic job filming our wedding and capturing all the special moments of our wedding day! They captured all the big moments and even the small details details perfectly. The highlight video and full video edit of our entire day exceeded our expectations. You can really tell they put a lot of work into the edits of raw footage to ensure a quality video. The investment was so worth it.
I initially had to convince my fiancé that we needed a videographer. After seeing the completed wedding videos he is now a believer. We are so happy we hired Chicago Cinamatic Weddings and we would recommend them for all of our best friends and family!
Everyone that we show the highlight video to tells us how amazing it is and it brings them to tears! Happy tears of course! My parents described it as a true Hollywood production!

Amazing Videographers
Working with Scott, Barb, and Javi was a wedding dream come true. We didn’t originally plan on having videographers included in our wedding, but after some convincing from our families, we reached out and found Chicago Cinematic Weddings. Scott was amazing to work with and was flexible with our changing ideas as time went on and we decided to add more time and services than originally requested. We were incredibly thankful as well that they continued to work with us when we decided to keep our original wedding day instead of postponing. They were professional and courteous and blended in seamlessly with our other vendors and during the wedding day overall. Now, after seeing their work and having our wedding day captured through their lens, I can’t imagine ever not having videographers. They were so incredibly sweet and wanted to capture the best of our wedding day. I can’t even count how many times I have watched our highlight video and cried every single time from happiness. I loved their attitude also, they were all happy to be there and helped direct the beautiful shots without interfering with the flow of the day, which makes it all more magical. I mean Javi showed me how to carry my dress while i walked so i looked graceful and pretty instead of the hot mess I usually am haha. We can not thank them enough for all the work they put in. All of my family and friends who have seen the video all said it looked like a hollywood movie.

All my husband and I can say about Scott and his team is, “HANDS DOWN TO THEM ALL.” I got ahold of Scott four weeks before my wedding and I was scared he would be already booked for our day and thankfully he was not! That was a win for us because we heard nothing but great things about his work. What I asked for was exactly what he gave me. They were punctual to the church and got the groom ready with a mini microphone since he knew cows were important for me so he captures every word. They set cameras in every angle to make sure they did not miss a thing. What through me by surprise was that they used a Drone to get an outside and inside view of the church. THANK YOU SO MUCH! They were all very professional at all times. When I received the video and watched it for the first time, I cried because it was like I was reliving my wedding day again. The vows, our first dance, Father/daughter dance, mother/son dance was all captured just like I wanted. They even stayed a bit later to capture the dollar and snake dance. If I had the opportunity to see Scott and his team again I would give them all a big hug thanking them for an extraordinary work on our wedding. Wait, I will see them again in a year for our daughters Quinceañera! Yes we booked them! See you on July 25, 2020 Scott.

Fun and professional during the wedding and then absolutely perfect videos afterwards!
The full wedding video and the highlight video really blew us away. They captured all of the emotion, joy, and fun from the night so wonderfully.
During the day of the wedding, they were professional, gave clear instructions when they wanted a particular shot, and were receptive to any ideas that we had. They did a great job of capturing all of the moments, while also giving us space; it never felt like we were being watched and filmed the whole time.
We received our highlight video shortly after the wedding. It's roughly 7 minutes long and has clips from all throughout the night. Most of the video has music in the background, with the exception of a brief audio clip from the ceremony, and it worked really well. We had some input on the songs that are played during the video and having music that's special to the two of us in the video really helps make it just perfect. The highlight video is perfect for sharing and watching with friends and family.
The full video really did a great job of capturing everything that happened during the night. Watching it was a lot of fun, since we got to see a bunch of moments that we missed during the day-of. The shot quality and editing is very professional; you can definitely tell a lot of thought and care was put into the videography and editing.
Overall, we are extremely happy with both the day-of experience and final products and will recommend Chicago Cinematic Weddings (and Barb and Scott, in particular) to everyone we know!

Five years later and we are still blown away by our wedding video! We have lost count how many times we have watched it with family, friends, or just the two of us. We have loved it so much, we found ourselves saying, "We want more!" Which is what led me to contacting Barb and Scott about our raw footage. Seeing as how we have been married for five years, I was not expecting Scott and and Barb to hang on to our footage for that length of time, but I figured I'd call and ask. Calling and speaking with Scott reminded me of why it was so easy to choose Chicago Cinematic Weddings as our videographers five years ago. When you speak with them, it is as if you are calling a longtime friend whom you haven't spoken to in a while, but can pick right back up where you left off. When I told Scott I was calling about our raw footage from five years ago, he said he would happily check his files and get back to me. Within a few days, Scott called back as promised and with news I could hardly believe....he still had our footage! To say I was shocked is an understatement! Our wedding was one of the best day of our lives. Scott and Barb went above and beyond on our wedding day and continue to exceed our expectations! As mother of the bride, I can't say enough about Chicago Cinematic Weddings! My husband and I did not initially plan to pay for a video of our daughter's wedding - until weeks before, when we found out that the bride's grandmother could not attend. Scott from Chicago Cinematic Weddings had an opening and we were so grateful - but even more so after seeing the final product. The video allowed us to see so much MORE of the wedding than we experienced ourselves, including close-ups of the groom's expression as the bride walked down the aisle. The intro to the video included some beautiful shots of the Loyola University campus and of Lake Michigan (which -- as Scott likely heard during the mass -- figured prominently in their relationship) and gorgeous music from the chapel organist. I highly recommend Chicago Cinematic Weddings as they were incredibly personal, professional, and talented!

It was absolutely great working with Chicago Cinematic Weddings! They were very thorough in their pre-planning, always responsive to emails, and absolutely wonderful the day of our wedding! They really captured not only our wedding perfectly, but so much of our personalities came through as well, which was very important to us! There were also some candid parts included that we totally forgot happened, and we could not stop laughing reliving those moments. They also included an extra video of our separate vows we wrote and read to each other in private as we were married in a Catholic Church, so we had traditional vows during the ceremony. It was so thoughtful, and we cannot thank them enough for this wonderful gesture! If you are debating if you should spend the money to get videography for your big day or not...I will tell you what a friend told me that convinced us. Most brides and grooms end up spending the most money on their venue and food that they will only get to spend a handful of hours in...so why not spend the money on vivid memories that will last forever. Pictures are great, but they are nothing compared to an actual video of the words that were spoken by loved ones or yourself on one of the most important days of your life. Scott, Barb and their team did an excellent job capturing our perfect "love story" video, wedding trailer, and wedding video. A little tip in case you question if you would ever watch your wedding video is to make it a tradition to watch your video every anniversary you have. Scott and Barb were really great to work with. There was an issue with our DJ, so the speeches didn't come out very well during our reception. Thanks to Chicago Cinematic, they had multiple cameras, so there were able to pull footage from multiple cameras in order to make the sound come out clear. You would never even be able to tell that we were having sound issues on the day of our wedding from how the video came out. I asked Scott and Barb to put several key pieces into our wedding video, and they did a great job. They were the easiest out of all of the vendors to work with. This isn't just a boring wedding video. This is the is the most important day of our lives captured on video. They truly did an amazing job. Don't make a mistake and pass them up.

This review is well overdue to this wonderful company! My original videographer cancelled on me with less than 5 months until my wedding. I was in a complete panic and worried sick. The videographer was extremely significant to me because they are going to capture all the memories & things I didn't see. I believe photos only capture an small glimpse of a moment, where as the videographer is going to have all that moment on film. Barb & Scott were extremely knowledgeable and wonderful to me and my now husband. They worked with us on all the details (budget to the music and the over all feel of the DVD). When looking back, in a way I'm grateful my other videographer backed out & was able to get Chicago Cinematic Weddings. I love the way they made my wedding DVD flow from all the important moments and not a 2.5 tape of a stationary camera. I love watching it!

We met Barb and Scott at a bridal expo, and after viewing their work the quality of all other videographers paled in comparison. During our initial meeting, it became very clear the level of professionalism and dedication they have for their work. I'm a very detail oriented person, so it was a relief to have a vendor that was not only easy to get in touch with but also very responsive. I'm guessing our wedding was not one of the easiest weddings they've filmed. Not only did the power go out during the ceremony, but there was a severe thunderstorm that day that made for undesirable filming conditions. But Barb and Scott never missed a beat, even standing out in the pouring rain in order to get the best shot. Barb and Scott are absolutely awesome!! I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for any type of video footage... from just the ceremony to the entire day turned into a movie-style video, they have packages for everyone. I was a VERY picky bride, and they were willing to work with me on every detail to make it just how I wanted. They are very down-to-earth, friendly people and excellent videographers! We knew we had to book them when we met with them and they really tried to relate to us and understand what we wanted so they could customize the video for us. Throughout the planning the maintained contact with us to make sure we were on the same page and had all the details just right. On that day, I couldn't ask for anything more. They exceeded our expectations and were happy to film all our requests. Even after receiving the video they contacted us to make sure it was just what we wanted. If you are not sure about getting a videographer, do it!! and make sure you meet with Barb and Scott! We now have something we can look back at again and again to remember the most important day of our lives!

The owners Barb & Scott were extremely professional and easy to work with! Chicago Cinematic Weddings filmed our wedding ceremony and reception and we could not have asked for a better DVD of our special day. Barb & Scott also put together a photo montage slide show that was played at our reception and an elegant edit of our wedding ceremony that was played at our wedding reception for our guests to see. This was especially nice for all of the guests that could not make the wedding ceremony. We highly recommend Chicago Cinematic Weddings and know that they provide quality service and an incredible final video of the special occasion!

Would highly recommend this company for wedding video. They were outstanding in their service and production. The DVD we received was unbelievable!!! We are very happy to have used this company and would recommend them to everyone we know. Very friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgably. Of all of our vendor choices, this was definitely the best decision we made! First of all, the videographers (Barb and Scott) are professional and fun! You can't go wrong with them. As for our video, we are consistently told how professional and creative it is compared to other companies videos. And friends and family can't stop commenting on the "Same Day Edit". It was such a surprise for us to see that they were able to edit clips of our ceremony and of us getting ready for the entire wedding reception to view. We have already referred several other brides/grooms to them. Thank you so much Barb and Scott!

Scott , Barb, and John were wonderful to work with. They were recommended to us by Michaelangelos Event Company in South Bend Indiana. We had so many compliments about the same day edit that was shown during our reception. This was a pleasant surprise to our guests. Scott and Barb were always quick to respond to any questions or coordinating we had to do. Their wonderful personalities and beautiful work will be cherished. We will be recommending them in the future!
