Chicago Catz made our wedding an UNFORGETTABLE celebration!! Their performance was nothing short of exceptional; their energy and stamina were incredible, keeping the dance floor alive all night long. They were not only talented but also extremely accommodating, seamlessly incorporating our song requests into their setlist.
Richie, in particular, was instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly. His expertise and attention to detail added a special touch to the entire experience. The band's enthusiasm and dedication truly shone through, making every penny spent well worth it.
Even now, long after the wedding, our guests are still raving about the Chicago Catz. The live band elevated the atmosphere and made our day incredibly special. We couldn't have asked for a better musical ensemble to celebrate with us. THANK YOU Chicago Catz for doing the damn thing and making our wedding an absolute blast! -

I was beyond thrilled when the Catz told me they were free for our wedding (they book up fast!). Their reputation precedes them and I can confirm they are an amazingly talented band. Additionally, it was so nice working with Richie who was prompt in communication and always willing to answer all our questions. As a seasoned professional, he knew how to make sure our wedding reception ran smoothly. He even took extra time to work with my brother ahead of the big day so we could play Greek music during the band break and had back up CD versions of our playlist made just in case the aux cord failed us. The night went off without any technical difficulties and the dance floor stayed full & lively. Would highly recommend. -

The BEST experience ever. From the first conversation to the event, the Catz team was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band than The Chicago Catz! We chose the 11-piece band for our big day, and they absolutely blew us away. Of all our vendors, the band received the most compliments from our guests—everyone was raving about how amazing they were. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they also went above and beyond with every detail we requested. A great example of their thoughtfulness was when Richie, the band leader, took the time on our final call to ask about the pronunciation of my maid of honor’s last name, ensuring the announcement during her speech was perfect. It’s small, thoughtful touches like that which really made them stand out. The Chicago Catz truly helped make our day unforgettable, and we couldn’t recommend them more! -

Get ready for the best night of your life!!!!!!!
The Chicago Catz made our wedding the absolute BEST NIGHT of our lives. They are unbelievably talented, kind, energetic, great to work with, and created an evening SO fun and memorable that we’ve been hearing about how great it was for weeks. I knew I wanted to have a really lively dance floor and the Catz DELIVERED. Every generation was out there, banger after banger. I am so grateful for all their time and help with planning the ceremony music, cocktail hour, and of course the reception. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with our experience with the Catz and would recommend them to everyone. If you are considering a band for your wedding book the Catz. Just do it. The Chicago Catz are hands-down the BEST BAND EVER. They brought so much talent, energy and FUN to our wedding. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests are still raving about the Catz performance months later! Working with Richie and the team was great as well - they are so kind, accommodating, knowledgeable and responsive, making the wedding planning process so much easier. We hired the Chicago Catz after hearing them at my friend's wedding and they did not disappoint! My wedding guests raved about the band and how amazing they were! If you are reading this, you have found the perfect wedding band- book the Chicago Catz immediately. My husband and I booked the Chicago Catz for our wedding on 10/15/22 at the Sculpture Garden at the Bridgeport Art Center and we are SO happy we did. The Chicago Catz made our reception a PARTY. We’ve had so many guests still telling us how incredible the band was and what a blast our dance floor was. They played the most perfect range of music- from our modern requests like Beyonce’s most recent single “Break My Soul” and Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” to dance floor classics. They are incredibly talented and the sign-off they did to close the night made it feel like we were at a concert. We had about 12 pieces and I would highly recommend going for it. This group was dynamic, energetic and truly so incredible to watch perform. Richie was SO easy to work with the entire time leading up to our wedding and incredibly responsive and helpful as we made decisions. We ALSO used a guitar trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour through the Chicago Catz. Gabriel and his bandmates were incredible. Perfectly performing our requested ceremony music and creating the most ambiance setting for our cocktail hour. We’ve had multiple guests also mention how this trio just set the tone for the whole evening with magic. I can’t recommend the Chicago Catz enough, book them for your wedding ASAP! -

We saw the Catz wayyyy before we ever got engaged and instantly fell in love with their energy and charm! All our guests told us that the Catz were the BEST wedding band they had ever seen - we had most people on the dance floor until their very last song. Richie was absolutely so easy to work with and always responded quickly to any email I sent. They have an awesome set list and the vibes were incredible. So glad we hired them for our wedding - they were our second most expensive vendor but it was 1000% worth it! -

Chicago Catz for the win
The Chicago Catz crushed it. We could not recommend this band more. Most importantly, they were a awesome on our wedding night. Keeping the energy up and music going. The dance floor did not stop all night. Furthermore, Richie was awesome to deal with and went out of his way to make things as easy as possible for us. Between figuring out the microphones for the ceremony and scheduling the brand break, he could not have been more flexible and helpful throughout this process. Would recommend to any couple who is looking to have an awesome band who keeps the party rocking. Thanks! -

Stop what you're doing and book the Chicago Catz already! My family used Chicago Catz for my sister's wedding in September 2019. We loved them SO much we used them for my wedding on NYE 2021. Both weddings the Catz outdid themselves and brought the party to the dancefloors! Both weddings we had wedding guests ALWAYS on the dancefloor and we still get compliments today on how fun our wedding band was. Richie, the main contact for the band, is amazing. He is extremely responsive, fair with pricing, and provides excellent support during the wedding process. He was so easy going and fun to work with! We cannot recommend the Chicago Catz enough! Thank you, Richie & Chicago Catz! -

Amazing!
wow. That's all i can say. The Catz are an incredible band and will not leave you disappointed. We had many guests come up to us both during and after our wedding raving about the band.
Everyone was dancing as soon as the Catz took the stage - they were so interactive and just plain talented.
We'd book them again in a heartbeat. -

If you're looking to have a good time with the best freaking music, the Chicago Catz are your crew. Since working with Richie and hearing them live, every subsequent wedding band we've experienced just doesn't quite hit the mark. The Chicago Catz bring opportunities for both a buttoned-up and more soulful and raw wedding experience with truly the best dancing music. Richie's ability to work with both the venue and wedding planner was greatly appreciated and he was more than easy to get in touch with.
Wishing we could re-do our wedding largely because I want to relive the party that Richie orchestrated. -

The Catz absolutely made our wedding!! They had the dance floor rocking all night, our guests didn’t want to leave. The range of songs that the Catz can play is astonishing and appeals to all audiences … they even learned a couple of new songs just for us and crushed it!
Richie and team are a pleasure to work with: they are professional, flexible, and know how to put on an incredible show.
I can’t imagine our wedding without the Catz and am thrilled to have found them. If you want to have the time of your life, look no further. -

Book the catz
BEST BAND EVER! We had so much fun with the Catz at our wedding at Rockwell on the River in July 2021. So many of our guests were raving at how talented they were. Someone even said “I feel like I’m at a concert!” The Catz are fun, interactive, and keep everyone dancing on the dance floor. Not only were they great performers, they were also an absolute dream to work with! We had to postpone our wedding twice due to covid and they were so accommodating the entire time. The week of the wedding we had a slight hiccup (my fault) and Richie and the Catz were understanding and immediately accommodated us. Don’t book another band- book the Catz! -

If you need a band, look no further!! I am an event planner in Chicago and I've worked with Chicago Catz many times. I chose to hire them for my own wedding because I feel they're very trustworthy, they're very good people (sounds weird but this is not always common with bands.....), they're flexible, and last but not least, they throw a killer dance party *every time*.
I had to postpone my own wedding (due to Covid-19 venue restrictions) and Richie was very fast at communicating our options and explained that they have NO postponement fees. You can ask any band, they ALL imply fees, so that in of itself makes myself and my clients feel like they're being taken care of and are not going to end up with some insane bill post wedding. I appreciated Richie's eagerness to look into other dates to make sure we could secure a future date that works for all the vendor team.
Every time I've worked with Chicago Catz, the musicians have a lot of energy, they dance and sing and interact with guests [from afar] and they have really fun transitions between songs. The only time we see a break on the dance floor is when the band takes their break, but that's not a bad thing so everyone can refresh, grab a drink, catch their breathe and head back shortly after.
I look forward to continuing working with Richie not only for my wedding, but for all of our weddings that are coming up this year! Thanks Richie & Chicago Catz for being so wonderful!!!

When we got engaged, our main priority for our reception was finding a great band that would keep our guests on the dance floor. Chicago Catz did that and more! They were so great to work with in lead up to the wedding. Richie is easy going and responds quickly to all emails and calls. We had such a fun time planning with them and they played great music all night that kept our dance floor packed til the very end! Our guests keep talking about how great they were! They were the highlight of our reception! My family loved them so much, my sister hired them immediately when she got engaged! We can't wait to celebrate with them again! -

The Chicago Catz were amazing! They had us dancing all night! The quality and professionalism of the band can't be beat. Rich met with us long before the wedding and answered all of my mom's 100 questions she had. He was flexible and accommodating. I simply cannot say enough good things about Richie and the Catz. The Catz were recommended as an option by the venue; we went to see The Catz perform at a bar in Bucktown and immediately felt their energy, knew every song and understood the response they were receiving from the crowd. After deciding (that evening) to go with the Catz, working with Richie was fantastic; he might have been the most responsive and easygoing vendor throughout the whole wedding planning process. Richie was always available to speak on the phone and quick to answer any email. He met with us a number of times and worked with us to ensure we were comfortable. Our wedding was beautiful but I have to say, without a doubt, The Catz made the party happen. The dance floor was packed the entire time...from Grandma to the youngest invitee...everyone was dancing and have a great time. I'll also state that Richie learned (and absolutely perfected!) our first dance as well as Mother/Groom. Finally, I am a very cautious and skeptical person; I can say without a doubt, that Richie and The Catz are the real deal. If you want to stop worrying about a crucial part of your wedding...hire Richie and The Catz. The music quality is better than most live concerts and it is important to understand you are hiring a real band to play live...not some actors who uses prerecorded music and dance on stage with instruments. If you appreciate music and believe a live band is one of the most important aspects of the reception...hire Richie and The Catz. -

The Chicago Cats were an unbelievable band! They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night...and we were having so much fun we added more time so the night didn't have to end. We simply cannot say enough about the Richie and the Catz. From the very first inquiry a year before the wedding to the very last song of the night (which they learned a very special song to play for my wife and I), they were unbelievably professional and without question the most talented band we have seen. It is very easy to see how long this group has been playing and doing so together as they put on an electric show keeping the entire party on the dance floor throughout the night. Over a month post wedding, we still get people asking us who they were as they hadn't experienced anything like it at a wedding in the past. Picking a wedding band I feel is arguably the most important and memorable aspect of the wedding that will keep people talking and reminiscing for years to come. They are worth every penny and then some so don't make a mistake, and hire the CATZ! -
