Planning a destination wedding sight unseen is nerve-wracking, so it was important to find someone I could trust from afar. From our very first call, I knew I had to work with Sadeki. She was so warm and lovely, and made me feel instantly at ease. I had a thousand questions and she answered every single one with enthusiasm and patience. Anything I asked for, she found a way to make it happen.
She really listened—offering thoughtful suggestions, vendor referrals, expert opinions, and support whenever I felt stuck or indecisive. And trust me, her chill energy was everything whenever I got anxious. Both Sadeki and Sunita were just a quick text or call away, always ready to keep the planning on track and stress levels low.
And when the big day arrived? They were total rock stars. From coordinating early morning glam for the bridesmaids, wrangling groomsmen and guests, keeping the vendors on point, to managing all the small, meaningful details that made the day ours—they handled it all with grace. They even made sure I felt happy and cared for throughout. Any little hiccups were handled so quickly and quietly, I didn’t even know they happened.
As far as I'm concerned, the day was perfect. People are still telling me—two months later—how much fun they had. I truly couldn’t have done it without Chic Events. Their attention to detail, calm presence, and tireless effort made our wedding unforgettable. They are phenomenal at what they do, and I’m forever grateful.

Amazing Experience!
I hired Chic Events for my destination wedding in Jamaica and they brought my complete vision to life! They came highly recommended by other brides who got married at Excellence Oyster Bay. Although hiring a decor vendor can be pricey, my husband and I felt it was absolutely worth the money. They were incredible to work with and so receptive to any and all of my questions. They were so organized and completely executed our vision. It was a complete dream! Sedeki was incredible to work with and the sweetest person. Sadeki is a wedding saver!!!!!
My Wife and I got married this May in Montego Bay, Jamaica and like most, if not, all weddings, it was a stressful process. It was so stressful that two weeks before our wedding we had to hire Chic Events to put our vision together because the prior vendor was very expensive and our original coordinator was stretched thin. To say we were not optimistic about how things would be executed, is an understatement. Nonetheless, in a matter of days, through numerous calls and texts, we worked with Sadeki to put the vision together and WITHIN BUDGET! Even better, on the day of, throughout the chaos, the floral arrangements and other decorations they put together were so beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. Sadeki and her team worked so seamlessly with our coordinator the day of to pull off our wedding even while dealing with rain that threw our whole schedule off. Our only regret is that we didn’t hire Chic Events the moment we decided we were having a wedding because we would have saved ourselves so much stress and headache. Hire Sadeki and you won’t regret it!

Beautiful wedding!
Sadeki was very patient with me throughout the planning process! She also listened to everything we wanted and made sure we were happy on our wedding day and throughout the process! She was there to ease the stress that comes with planning a wedding which is huge when you are having a destination wedding in a country you have never been! We had very specific things we wanted: romantic lighting, minimal decor, white roses for my bouquet, and delicious food. Sadeki and her team delivered all of this and MORE! The day was so beautiful and we couldn't have done it without Sadeki and her team! Thank you for creating such a memorable day for us!!!

Sadeki saved the day!
Sadeki saved my wedding day! I called her two weeks before my wedding day in a panic because my hotel wedding coordinator messed up and never ordered my flowers or decor… Sadeki was SO kind & willing to help me in my time of need without hesitation!! I was blown away by her willingness to help on such short notice! Without her I would have had no flowers or decor at my wedding. She truly saved the day & I can’t thank her enough!
Sadeki is professional, responsive, & extremely experienced. She truly knows what she’s doing when it comes to planning a wedding! Plus her prices are very reasonable & she can source lighting, chairs, linens, dance floors, custom signs, flowers… basically anything you want!
Sadeki is also very knowledgeable about flowers. Every arrangement she made for both my welcome party & my wedding were absolutely stunning!! For example, I showed her an inspiration picture for my bridal bouquet yet told her I’d like it in an “L” shape instead, & she executed it perfectly!! (see the pinterest pic & pic of my actual bouquet below)

We had our wedding in April of 2023 at Moon Palace Jamaica where we worked with Sadeki and the Chic Events team to bring our wedding vision to life. When I say that they executed FLAWLESSLY...it's an understatement. I'm a stickler for professionalism not just with the finished product but also with the process of communication and quality of service throughout and the Chic Events team checked every single box. They took our vision, brought it to life, and even added some extra flare that we didn't even know we needed. Amazing a breath taking wedding planner
I do not know where to start because I have so many good things to say about my experience.
Firstly, Sadeki is an amazing wedding planner. She is very organised and is really with you every step of the way.
Sadeki was there to give us the reassurance we needed whilst planning our wedding. Sadeki has literally become a part of our family !
She has an amazing spirit, she is patient, she listens and has a wealth of experience in planning a wedding.
She sources the best vendors in Jamaica and always takes in to consideration our budget. She makes sure the quality is still the same if it is out of budget and comes up with AMAZING ideas.
I was planning a wedding from the U.K. and anytime i needed to speak to her she always made herself available. I never once thought I was bothering her. I found her so approachable, my husband also loves her spirit!

The best in the business - a must hire
Sadeki and her team are truly attentive, intentional, and deliver FIRST-CLASS service. As the bride, I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding - especially having planned it all over emails and phone calls due to my circumstances. Sadeki and her team went above and beyond what I asked for and all of my guests are still talking to this day about how it was one of the most beautiful, stunning, and enjoyable weddings they’ve been too yet!

A dream come true
Sadeki and her team definitely made everything happen for Us. She executed and delivered. She was also very pleasant to work it. The outcome of my wedding exceeded my expectations. Incredible experience working with Sadeki Watson of Chic Events!
Sadeki served as our wedding planner for over 2 years as we navigated planning during the Covid-19 pandemic, a last minute switch of wedding venues, and all of the natural emotions that come with wedding planning during a pandemic. Sadeki's positive energy, strong sense of organization and collaboration and her creative vision helped us ultimately have our one of a kind dream wedding! Not only did Sadeki help us with the vision for our decor, but she also kept us organized and even helped successfully negotiate with our vendors to navigate last minute, otherwise pricely, event changes. Sadeki and her team are incredibly kind and professional and well connected with many of the hotel and event space wedding coordinators throughout the island. 01/22/2022 was my wedding date. Chic Events went above and beyond expectations. The décor and setup was absolutely stunning. I remember once it was time to leave the reception, I intentionally walked back to the reception space to look at the beauty they created with the arrangements at each table. Sadeki and her team were amazing from beginning to end. They were always very responsive and accommodating to all of my requests. Ever dreamed of a stress-free wedding? Well, that’s what we got :)) Sadeki was everything and more than we could have asked for. We had a stress- free wedding thanks to our wedding planner Sadeki. She created the wedding we envisioned. Whatever we asked for, she got it done plus more. She thought of everything and had it all covered. I showed her my dream bouquet and asked if it was possible to get it. She expressed her love for it and made it possible. She promised and she delivered.
I loved it. She and her super team arranged everything; the flowers, the decor, the DJ, the photographers…. all we had to do was show up :)
Sadeki was so pleasant and patient; and always on the ball, following up, ensuring that we were happy.
Thank you for providing the best wedding ever. Our beach wedding, and the setting was gorgeous, breathtaking; I was in awe at how well everything went together; it was perfect. Sadeki was there every step of the way. When I needed a quick tip on my big day or was unsure about something, she was nearby and ready to help.

Bride in a Bind but Saved by Sadeki of Chic Events!😍
SADEKI of Chic Events. Where do I begin???? As a bride on a VERYYY tight budget, Sadeki and her team were a gift from heaven!!! I was married just one month ago in Jamaica and almost cried when I received the prices for the decor and bouquets! I’m not exaggerating...
I LITERALLY almost cried! I always dreamed of having trumpet centerpieces at our reception and they were averaging $500 (yes brides FIVE HUNDRED dollars) and I needed NINEEEEEEEE! I always wanted to have a dance floor and that was quoted at thousands of dollars for a mere 75 guests so I couldn’t even consider adding the monogram I always dreamed of. Then there were the chivari chairs! $24 EACH on the resort and at this point I felt like I made the worst decision by having a destination wedding. I was meeting with my friends trying to figure out how I could possibly make my own centerpieces and it was a disaster!!!
I was referred to Chic by a previous bride from the resort and was IMMEDIATELY put at ease. I received quotes that were probably half (if not MORE than half) of what the resort was charging me and felt like heaven sent me an angel. Sadeki was so honest and stayed within my budget often steering me AWAY from things I did not need which was ironic to me because if I go over budget, that’s just more money for her right? WRONG! See, it is never about the money for Sadeki and I could tell from the beginning when she advised against me adding aisle markers that I didn’t TRULY need. From that point moving forward, I knew I could trust her! She was there from start to finish and on the video of me walking down the aisle, you can catch her telling me to lower my bouquet (she kept telling me all day but I guess I was just a bride trying to hide haha).
Point is, she didn’t just set up and disappear...
Sadeki was present the entire time and was also patient with me. She educated me on the things I needed to know and picked up the pieces when I didn’t have it together (i.e. when I left my props in the room & also had a background without anything to hang it with🤦🏾♀️).
I also purchased the bridesmaids’ bouquets from Sadeki as well! She’s literally a one stop shop! You don’t have to take my word for it. I literally looked through her IG (@Chicweddingsja) and sent an email containing pictures from her IG and asked for a quote and the rest is history!
I also LOVEDDDD that they have a US number so I was able to call and ask questions as well. Terry Ann was EXTREMELY helpful and always responds in a timely fashion. Conference calls with Sadeki were always the best part of entire wedding planning process and I unlike other vendors in Jamica, I was able to make payments easily AND for FREE online!👇🏾
This review cannot possibly explain just how incredible Sadeki and the entire Chic Events team was for our wedding. I researched many coordinators before hiring Sadeki. She was the only one who followed up with me after my initial consultation and it was a phone call! I was blown away that her assistant called me twice before hiring Chic Events just to check in and see if I had any other questions. I knew right then that they were the right team for our destination wedding.
I already had my venue and photographer. Sadeki arranged our DJ, caterer, bartender, and rentals including lights, tables and chairs. We had multiple phone calls, texts and emails throughout the planning process. Her team's responsiveness was consistent and they addressed every question I had (and it was a lot!!!). Planning a wedding from the US was a lot to take on, but even more so because our venue was an AirBnb. That meant that we had to bring everything to our venue from outside vendors. Sadeki is an incredibly smart, prompt, attentive, caring, sweet and helpful woman and she truly made our wedding perfect in every way. We were lucky to travel to Jamaica once before the wedding and we met with her for the first time. She was so reassuring of every aspect of the wedding that I knew my husband and I were in such good hands.
We did a walk through the day before the wedding and she was an hour early simply because that is how she operates. We had a few last minute adjustments for minor things and she made them happen. The day of the wedding she turned into a machine. My sisters, the mothers and I all had zero part in setting up. Sadeki and her team worked their magic to get everything lined up. She greeted vendors, made sure my husband was getting ready, and kept a close eye on the weather, saving all of the chairs from the rain just 10 minutes before the ceremony. Her team also reset the ceremony area for the reception in under an hour. Our food was some of the best Jamaican cuisine we have ever had. The food was one of the most talked about details of our wedding with guests!
If you are getting married in Jamaica, no matter what part, you are making a mistake if you hire anyone except Chic Events. Hire Sadeki immediately. She's a perfectionist and exactly who you need to make your wedding the best day of your life. Thank you Sadeki and Terry-Ann for everything you did!!!!! Nothing but the best
Sadeki and the entire team at Chic-Eventsja was nothing but amazing from start to finish. Weekly phones months before the wedding and then daily phone calls the weeks leading up to the wedding, which kept me at ease planning all the way from California. It was so easy to work with the entire team, communicate was on point and they understood everything I wanted and needed. My wedding was amazing with guests traveling from all over the United States, Canada and Europe. Sadeki did such an amazing job with the venue, decor, help with our welcome bags, help with finding the best vendor in Jamaica and just keeping everyone organized the days before, day of and after. It truly was a pleasure working with Chic-Eventsja, my now husband and I couldn't have ask for anything better.

Incredibly professional amazing planner
Sadeki not only made the wedding run incredibly smoothly, she made sure we had a fun stress-less day to enjoy each other and our families. From the moment we first spoke Sadeki she was so professional and helped us plan out parts of the wedding we didn’t even realize needed planning! You can tell she knows her stuff. She was so accommodating and flexible to the designs we envisioned while still helping us keep our budget. Just a week before the wedding we asked for an addition and she didn’t hesitant to try to make it work for us.
When we met her in person finally after all those phone conversations, we all immediately clicked. She’s hilarious and so sweet. The reverend, DJ, photo & video team she helped us find were perfect for our wedding. The day of she made sure everything was handled so we didn’t have to stress. The designs she made come to life were beyond our imagination. The floral arrangements were beautiful. The reception area looked so elegant while still being intimate for our small wedding.
I would highly recommend Sadeki to anyone having a wedding in Jamaica. She will not only make your dreams come true but she will make sure you have fun while doing it. I will never forget how much work she put into our special day.

I honestly don't know where to begin. Everything about working with Sadeki and her team was AMAZING! From the very first time I spoke with Sadeki, I knew that she had to be my wedding planner. She listened to my vision and executed it beyond my wildest dreams. I also appreciate how much the team communicated with me, and kept me in the loop with every detail. The vendors that Sadeki works with are the best in the business, and I am so grateful for the team that she put together for me. Her level of organization, attentiveness, and ability to plan an amazing wedding are truly unmatched. I was the bride who sent tons of emails, called, texted, and they were always well received. Sadeki is planning so many weddings at once, but I never felt as if I wasn't a priority. We planned a cruise wedding from Florida we had 60 guests cruising with us and decided to have a ceremony and cocktail hour while we were in Port instead through the cruiseline because we weren't getting anywhere with them. Sadeki and her team were outstanding I can't say enough good things about them I wish we would have had more time there, but had to get back to the ship. I was very nervous planning a destination wedding especially a cruise wedding but communcation and everything was taken care for more than expected.

OMG What can I say about Sadeki other then she is FREAKING AWESOME! I contacted her to plan a beach destination wedding in Jamaica. I live in Texas. She was very responsive and has a ton of experience and being a first time bride I really needed it!. You can tell she runs this business from her heart. My husband is Jamaican and runs on Jamaican time, my sister was seriously ill. Both of these factors made the day a little difficult. However, Sadeki being the professional and experienced planner that she is! Pulled it all together gracefully while keeping me calm. She made sure the wait staff took care of my sister so I could focus on my big day. I really would have lost my mind without her! So if you're looking for a planner who really knows her stuff and works from her heart and knows how to pull a chaotic situation into order Sadeki is the woman you need in your life! But also from a planning prospective especially if you don't live there her expertise and advise was soooo valuable. Not to mention her assistant Terry-Ann who was also so sweet, helpful and kind (wish I could have met her). In addition, my beach wedding was more than I could have imagined. It was very classy. Her prices are also REALLY reasonable. I could not have imagined a better wedding for my budget!

When my husband I decided to marry in Jamaica, we were unsure of all of the work that would be involved in coordinating the event. We soon discovered that we needed a coordinator to help us create our dream wedding. Our plan was to have a church wedding and a reception at a resort. I researched various wedding coordinators online and after a phone conference with Sadeki, I ultimately decided on Chic-Events.
Despite not knowing Sadeki prior to planning our wedding, we soon developed immense trust in her judgement and guidance. It can be quite difficult to plan a destination wedding but Chic Events made it a smooth process.
Communication with Sadeki and her staff was primarily via email and scheduled phone conferences. We also made an onsite visit roughly 5 months before the wedding to meet Sadeki in person, visit the church where our wedding would take place, and meet with resort staff regarding our reception.
Sadeki and her staff were focused on the big picture and every detail needed to create a memorable wedding. Chic Events sent me emailed reminders of my own bridal duties, helpful "to-do" lists, and regular check-ins via phone conference to help keep me from becoming a frantic bride.
Sadeki worked on our behalf with the resort's onsite wedding coordinator to coordinate details for our wedding reception. She connected us with vendors such as the wedding officiant, DJ (who was amazing and made the reception so memorable!!), florists, etc.
Sadeki and her staff put in an immense amount of hard work to make our wedding so special. The night before the wedding, Sadeki was at the resort until the wee hours of the morning making sure that the vendors had our wedding reception tent perfect.
Our wedding photographer told us that he has never worked with a wedding coordinator so accommodating and knowledgeable. Our guests (80+ people) still talk about the beautiful wedding. It was everything my husband and I wanted it to be. Thank you!

Working with Chic Events and wedding planner Sadeki Watson was one of the best choices I made for our wedding. The level of service was amazing and top notch. I would recommend her services and this company as they provide options and are extremly flexible in making sure you have the wedding of your dreams. Planning a destination wedding can be a little unnerving, especially when you're making all of your decisions rather blindly. Communication was great and they really worked with me to get what I wanted but stay in my budget. They were also awesome in taking over communicating with some vendors that weren't as quick in responding. I was still a little nervous before arriving on how everything would turn out, not really knowing what I was walking into. It was gorgeous though. Exceeded not only mine, but my guests expectations. They were blown away. I loved how active Sadeki was on my wedding day, keeping a good flow and With the timeline. I was told by friends and family that something always goes wrong on wedding day, but Sadeki anticipated what was going to go wrong on mine and nipped it in the bud! Flawless! Worth. Every. Penny.

Book Sadeki!! She is a super human! We has about 40 people come down to Jamaica from the states. Nothing too crazy, but we had a few musts and she nailed them right away!
I'm not a big wedding, girly, super picky, planner type of these events. We didn't care about a lot of the details, our priorities were to have it on a beach, nothing huge or corporate, great music, great food, lots of drinks, for all of our guests to feel comfortable, taken care of and appreciated, and for me to feel pretty. ;) Sadeki thought of absolutely everything!! The night was completely flawless! She is like a miracle worker! She was on top of me to make decisions and plan things I never even new I needed to do. She's perfect to deal with, very thorough and professional, all at an extremely reasonable cost!
Everyone at our wedding kept telling us how this was the best wedding they had ever been to. That was all thanks to Sadeki! All of the reviews are legitimate, don't think its too good to be true, she's truly incredible and one-of-a-kind! We really lucked out on finding her, she truly created the absolute best night of our lives!

On our honeymoon I heard 4 different newlyweds complaining about their wedding planners. I then realized just how.amazing Sadeki was. Everything was perfect! The food, the steel drum band, the DJ, bar, and the food was soooo good. The best part was that we had our own beach! I saw countless.couples get married at sandles where they just pump out weddings like a factory and there are strangers in the background of the pictures. Sadeki reserved a private beach for us that we had exclusively for 6 hours. It was truly amazing. If you have an event in Jamaica don't let the hotel handle it. Get Sadeki!!!

We struggled to find a location and vendor to help us with our afternoon beach wedding. We were arriving via cruise ship so we needed something ready when we arrived and quick enough to get us back on the ship in time. Chic-Events had a perfect packaged deal for us and Sadeki made everything so easy! Normally not knowing what the location or ceremony would look like would be terrifying for a bride! Sadeki was able to secure the Rose Hall Aqueduct and there was no worry after that. It was really a special moment to pull up the the venue and begin immediately walking down the aisle to seeing such a beautiful set up. It made that moment all the more special. It was perfect.

Chic Events was the second best decision I made, after accepting my now husband's proposal! In less than 30 days Sadeki put together our dream wedding! We initially hired this vendor to assist with our on resort wedding (on the day). When the resort was not cooperating, Sadeki offered to work with resort on my behalf. Getting no where with the resort I put my wedding in Sadeki's hands and pulled the wedding from the resort! Sounds crazy, right? Sadeki made it very easy to trust in her abilities. In less than 24 hours Sadeki found us a venue, a DJ, Band, Hair, Make up, transportation, and Cake! I was blown away by here connections and her ability to make it happen. The day of the wedding everything was prefect!!!! I have pictures to prove, as I believe a picture is worth 1000 words!
My only regret is not hiring Sadeki 18 months ago when I started this process. Even if you hire her for the "day of" its money well spent!

There is not one bad thing i can say about chic-events Jamaica. i contact Sadeki just for decoration in the beginning but by talking to her i ended up turning my hole wedding over to her and it was one of the best decisions i ever made in my life. Sadeki went above and beyond of begin a wedding planner to make sure our wedding was the best. The only thing i am sad about is that she was not involve from the beginning. I hired Sadeki (Chic-Events Jamaica) for my Destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamiaca originally because I was tired of not hearing back from my wedding planner provided by the hotel. She came recommended to me by my makeup artist also located in Jamaica. I have to honestly say Sadeki is so professional and diligent. I was able to contact her through email at all times and she always got back to me right away, even on the weekends. Sadeki stayed within our budget and always updated our pay detail summary when their was a change or addition so that there were no surprises. Closer to the wedding she provided phone conferences with both my husband and I to go over the final details. During our stay in Jamaica we met with her two days before the wedding. She was on time and prepared. The day of the wedding she stayed the whole day and night always making sure we were happy. Sadeki even called our hotel on our honeymoon to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Please don't hesitate on using Chic-Events Jamaica. We would not hesitate to recommend Sadeki and Chic Events Jamaica to other future brides and grooms (we already have in fact). Sadeki with Chic-Events Jamaica was AMAZING to say the least!!!! She truly made the impossible possible when it came to our simple destination wedding. We went from about 50 guests to 6. Along with that came an unexpected financial strain when my future husband lost his job a few months before the wedding day :( Sadeki made what seemed to be impossible, possible! Our day was great! We felt like celebrities the entire time we were in Jamaica!!! I cannot wait to have her plan vow renewal in a few years!!!

I cannot say enough about Sadeki's professionalism and superior wedding/event planning skills. She is a true professional. I interviewed 4 wedding coordinators and when I first spoke with Sadeki, I knew she was the one for us. This is more than a business for her; she has a passion for planning the perfect event that will make your dreams come alive. She is very resourceful and has great working relationships with many of the local vendors. Sadeki worked with me for over a year on planning every detail of our wedding, while being conscience of our budget. While Sadeki has a wealth of experience with many resorts in MoBay, Negril, Ocho and the surrounding cities, we wanted an off-site wedding. She was able to connect us with a villa rental company, where we found the perfect location. Our wedding was beautiful!!!
Sadeki is wonderful and caring. I had a girlfriend getting married in Jamaica as well and quickly advised her to contact Sadeki. We loved working with Chic Events. With Sadeki's famiarlity with our resort and the WC's made her a natural extension. Any communcation with Sadeki prior to us coming to Jamaica was always timely. I felt she was on the ball and made me think of things I hadn't even thought of. She was there till pretty much the end of the evening, while the resort WC's had disappeared hours ago.
We when first spoke over email I had sent her the link to our wedding website, I loved how she took the time to read it over. To me that shows she cares about her clients.
Chic Events made us have one of the most beautiful days with no stress!

Chic-Events Jamaica was truly amazing! Sadeki assisted with my wedding at the Iberostar Grand and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. She helped us communicate with the resort, assisted with decorating for the ceremony and reception, and ensured everything was how we envisioned it. The resort wedding coordinator forgot to give me a lot of my stuff back before we left for our honeymoon and Sadeki brought it all the way to our honeymoon resort! She is a wonderful person and very helpful. It made the entire planning process and the wedding day so much less stressful and I would definitely recommend her to future brides getting married in Jamaica!

My wedding was very nice, everything I wanted happened. I was very pleased, with how attentive Sadeki was, she just knew what i wanted. I was very worried in the beginning that the distance would make the planning very hard but it wasent it actually turned to be very easy. Everything was absolutly beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Sadeki was very professional and she made sure everything was taken care of, and I didnt have to worry about a thing. The Pastor was awesome, I would recommend him to anyone he made the ceremony very personable and comfortable. Sadeki was a pleasure to work with she is very knowledgeable, reliable, reasonable in price and has a great persona. I wouls recommend her to anyone getting married in Jamiaca.

While we had a planner at the Hotel/Venue, we were working with in Jamaica, Chic-Events Jamaica when beyond the call of duty. Our wedding planner at the hotel changes at least 3 times and Chi-Events remained consistent, at times working as an ambassador for us when dealing with the venue, as we were in the US. They BBM (Blackberry Messenger) emailed or called to remind of things that we did not have on our list or just forgot to validate with the Hotel. The night before we left for Jamaica, they text us a list of things we needed to remember to bring and even asked if there was anything we needed from them. When we meet their staff in person it just solidified, we would have no issue on our wedding day. We had a PERFECT wedding thanks to Chi-Events..

Our wedding was held at a private villa that had its own wedding coordinator. I felt as though that particular coordinator wasn't providing me the services I wanted and insisted on offering the services at exorbitant prices. After much searching, I found Chic Events. Sadeki immediately held my hand and guided me through the remaining months.
Her services were worth each dollar spent and she made my ideas a reality. Sadeki works well with others as she had to coordinate with the villa and the assigned coordinator. She made our wedding an amazing evening and I owe her many thanks. I would highly recommend her and Chic Events to anyone looking to get married in Jamaica.

Sadeki was a blessing even though I found her later on in my wedding planning. I wish I found her earlier especially living in the US and trying to plan a wedding in Jamaica. She was very responsive, professional and just had a great spirit. Most importantly she was very flexible with last minute requests / changes. There was not one complaint from my spouse and me or anyone who attended the wedding. People are still talking about how elegant and perfect our wedding was.
If anyone is living in Jamaica or even oversees, Sadeki is the wedding planner to use!

She made everything happen, and when I was having communication issues with our venue she bonded the bridges and resolved all issues. She was a blessing, the only regret I have is not finding Chic-Events sooner. I contacted them a few months before the wedding and it would have been less stressful to have her and her team from the beginning. I chose Sadeki for my wife and I after contacting no less than 20 other event/wedding planners available in the area. I chose her services based on her responsiveness in answering my numerous questions, her ability to provide excellent photos and descriptions of the wedding site, and overall value for her services.
Arranged with Sadeki via e-mail, where she answered dozens of questions for me quickly and effectively. We paid a very reasonable rate via PayPal with absolutely no issues. We received and signed the contract electronically. Outside of a couple odd looking typos, there were no issues there.
On our wedding day we were picked up at our resort by a very friendly cab driver. Sadeki was finishing up decor, so we waited in the cab for a few minutes. My wife had become slightly upset about the rain. Sadeki went out of her way to make my wife comfortable, escorted her around the site with an umbrella and really cheered her up.The site and bouquet were beautiful, despite the light rain. We did a brief ceremony under a well-decorated gazebo on the shore.
The ONLY star I knocked off here was due to an issue with the officiant. I did inform the Sadeki that we would need a secular ceremony, as I am an atheist. Perhaps this wasn't communicated to the officiant, because the ceremony was riddled with religious rhetoric. My wife and I just grinned at each other and rolled with it. We had such a great time out there that I ended up not even mentioning it to Sadeki.
After the ceremony, we did a photo shoot at the wedding site and in the gardens at another site across the street. We picked out the photos we wanted and received a CD with high quality images. They printed nicely and the resolution was high enough for large, poster sized photos.
The overall value with Sadeki and Chic-Events was outstanding. She treated us like old friends and worked hard to provide us a great wedding. Would use again for vow renewal.

Had a destination wedding Ocho Rios, Jamaica and used this company for wedding cake. I worked with Sadeki Peterson. She was very professional and quite helpful. We had 35 guests which was enough for a one tier cake but I REALLY wanted a three tier cake. I asked her to consider making 2 tiers fake but she declined and offered me the 3 tier cake at a reduced rate. I sent her my cake design and she executed it perfectly. I don't particular like cake, in all actuality I got it just for the photos but the cake was very good. The only mishap was that cake had wrong monogram; the delivery guy mixed them up. Initially, I was upset but my husband removed the monogram and reminded me that mistakes happened. Cake was just as beautiful without the monogram.

Sadeki and the Chic Events crew made my wedding experience a joy! All involved brought a laid back professionalism that was just perfect for me, my husband, and my family. Sadeki worked hard but with ease and gently guided me through the planning process and the wedding. She skillfully worked with my requests and was very accessible. The catering, the bartenders, the assembly crew all worked together gracefully to make the day absolutely lovely. In retrospect, I wish I would have provided her with a timeline for things like at what time my cousin was supposed to say the welcome to our guests before dinner, when our emcee was meant to announce certain things, etc---because they all forgot!! But Sadeki would've been absolutely able to remind them gently of their duties. Our food was delicious, the bartenders were entertaining, etc etc etc. My only sadness is that now that the wedding is finished, I don't have the pleasure of ongoing communication with Sadeki!

Sadeki is a wonderful woman who really aims to please. I had to do 3 starts on 'responsiveness' because it could be days before I would get an email back. But in her defense, it is Jamaica and the people are so much more relaxed compared to us crazy Americans. The wedding was stunning. Throughout the planning process everything went well and Sadeki was very responsive. I was disapointed on the day as the bar was opened before the original time planned so we only ended up with a bar for 2 hours instead of 4 as it was open whilst we were having the cocktail hour and we were not informed of this. Had we been informed I would have asked for it to be closed until the original time, they also kept running out of drinks the guess required including cola. The photographer was brilliant taking lots of pictures and even stayed longer than expected to get some additional shots I could not fault this part of the service. The DJ was excellent and played the time of music which kept everyone on the dance floor, he insured that all the music he played was appropriate and I would definately use this service again as apart from the breakdown in communication on the day everything else was perfect.

Sadeki was mildly satisfactory leading up to the wedding. My wedding was cancelled during COVID two weeks beforehand. I had spoken with Sadeki several times leading up given Jamaica's new rules and regulations. She insisted I shouldn't cancel and that those rules would not be in place by the time my wedding came around. I get that things happen, but her reaction was devastating to me. She even suggested I still have the wedding, but the staff would have to leave by 1 and we could serve ourselves. Also, that the cops could come shut it down. After all the planning the fact that she suggested this to me was a slap in the face. Discussed giving her the portion of the money for planning she was owed, but getting money back for chair rentals, food etc. We actually paid more than the requested deposit because we had the money at that time. She did not even refund us the portion that was not for the initial deposit. Therefore, because we paid early, she just kept it. Requested money back for food, plates, drinks etc. Stuff that was not used yet. Nothing. When something so devastating happens, the fact that she did not give us an options of refunding was despicable. Suggested we rescheduled. However, with the way she acted I had lost all respect. Also, did not want to gamble on my wedding getting cancelled again. Would not recommend for anyone. This pandemic is still going on. That was over a year ago and still a year into the pandemic. Do not trust her.
