This was the venue of my dreams and it did not disappoint! The venue exceeded our expectations with the amazing staff members (at the Inn & venue), coordinators, and exceptional food. Many guests told us our food was the best wedding food they have ever had. We had the filet + crab cake. Our coordinator and venue staff made sure we always had a drink in our hand and got to try the appetizers being passed around. It was pouring rain minutes before our ceremony and Samantha, our coordinator was such a calming presence during that time. We were able to have the ceremony outside and Samantha made sure to have staff wipe all the chairs and bring guests out at the perfect time. Highly recommend this venue! -

My sister got married here and after touring a bunch of other venues we found that nothing could compare. This place is beautiful. Right on the water with the bridge in the back. Samantha was our coordinator and she was extremely responsive, helpful, and honest. The day was perfect. We wouldn’t change a thing. -

We absolutely loved our wedding at CBBC! We were had ours at the Beach House Ballroom side, and from start to finish the process was seamless and professional. There was another wedding on the other side at the same time but no one could tell! Our guests have raved about the food and overall experience, some even saying it’s one of the best weddings they’ve been to! The staff was top notch, our coordinator Samantha was a gem and her day-of assistant was amazing. The recommended vendors were also incredible! Cannot recommend this venue enough, we are so happy with our wedding! -

We had the most perfect wedding at CBBC! Working with Samantha was a dream, from start to finish she was super responsive and made sure the day went without a hitch! It really took a lot of stress off of using during planning, because we knew Samantha had everything covered! The venue itself is stunning, you really can't beat the view of the water! The food and bar were excellent, and we heard many rave reviews on both from our guests. Marta and the rest of the crew at the wedding were absolutely wonderful! Marta made sure the bride and groom got the chance to try all the amazing appetizers we picked (which we greatly appreciated!) and she brought out a heated blanket for the bride during a chilly first-look photoshoot. Overall, we'd choose CBBC all over again for our wedding. It truly was the perfect place for the perfect day. -

We truly could not recommend CBBC enough! Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, thanks to the incredible team that made it all happen.
Erin and Marta were absolutely amazing — organized, calm, and on top of every detail from start to finish. They kept everything running seamlessly, handled every curveball with grace, and made sure we actually got to enjoy every moment of our day.
Chef Chuck completely crushed it — the food was out of this world! Our guests are still talking about how delicious every course was.
And a huge thank you to Tyra, who made all things hotel and lodging at the Inn so smooth. She was so kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay (and our guests’ stays) were perfect.
Transportation from the Inn was seamless, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and professional. Truly, everyone who worked our wedding was such a pleasure to be around — warm, helpful, and genuinely invested in making the day special.
We’re endlessly grateful to the entire CBBC team for giving us a wedding day that felt effortless, elegant, and full of joy. -

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. From start to finish, the entire team made our wedding experience absolutely unforgettable. The staff was incredible, so professional, kind, and attentive to every single detail. It rained on our wedding day, but they handled everything so beautifully and made it feel just as magical as we had always imagined. The views of the Bay Bridge were breathtaking and created the perfect backdrop for our special day.
The food was phenomenal and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club made the process so simple and stress-free. We especially want to thank Erin for going above and beyond to make us feel so supported and cared for. Her warmth and calm energy meant so much to us throughout the entire journey. We got married at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club on May 17, 2025, and had the most stellar experience we could have hoped for. From the very beginning, we were blown away. We attended one of their Saturday open houses for our initial tour and were immediately impressed—not just by the stunning waterfront venue and all the flexible, thoughtfully designed event spaces, but also by how knowledgeable, professional, and confident the entire team was. We left that tour knowing we’d be in the best hands and we were absolutely right.
Every step of the planning process was seamless - from the delicious food and drink tasting, to room blocks at their on-site inn, to spa services, to vendor coordination and final timeline planning. Everything was organized, stress-free, and incredibly well executed.
Samantha, our coordinator, was truly a rockstar. She answered every one of my many (many!) questions with patience and clarity, and always helped ease any nerves I had in the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Her responsiveness and calm presence made all the difference.
The wedding day went absolutely flawlessly. Everything ran like clockwork. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing—every vendor knew where to go and when to be there, and all the details we’d planned came together perfectly. I truly got to just show up and have the best day of my life.
The team at CBBC knows what they’re doing, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a venue that combines stunning views with expert-level coordination and service, look no further. -

We could not have been happier to get married at CBBC this past weekend! Our coordinator Erin was so helpful on the day of the wedding, and we truly didn't need to take care of anything. The food was amazing, view was stunning, and our guests were raving about everything from start to finish. We stayed at the Inn and had our rehearsal dinner at the Tool Shed, which I also highly recommend. All around- they made us feel so special. I wish I could rewind and live the day all over again! -

I can't say enough great things about the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and our wedding in September 2023.
Wedding Coordination: Samantha Rutherford is exceptional at her job. The planning process was seamless. She answered all of my questions thoughtfully and always had the most helpful advice. On the day of the wedding, the strap of my dress broke and Samantha quickly tackled the task. Samantha handled the day of coordination for vendors and guests, timeline prep, all of my decorations/requests, and any problem with ease. She's exactly the kind of person you want by your side on the day of your wedding.
The food: best wedding food I've ever tasted in my life, hands down. My parents attended the wedding tasting with us and my father kept wandering away mid conversation to get more food. He had the time of his life. Just check out their menu on their website, you won't be disappointed in anything. There's something for everyone and they make it easy to accommodate people with food allergies like gluten free, vegetarian, etc. Something else I didn't need to worry about since they were already experts. The food came out to the tables perfectly cooked and timely.
Venue: CBBC was the first venue we visited and we immediately fell in love and nothing else compared. The Inn on site was great for pre-wedding photos. The beach house ballroom is stunning and we got married in the sunken garden, but the rain option is also stunning. Go for the open house Saturday and you'll see how beautiful it really is.
A few more things:
-We used the Spa onsite for hair and makeup. They came up to the suite and I couldn't have been happier for the ease and service.
-Any staff member you interact with, whether it's at the Inn, the Market, the Bell-boy or wedding staff, they're incredibly accommodating, kind and helpful.
-Use their preferred vendors list and book early!
Thank you so much CBBC for everything. I'd 1000% recommend this venue to anyone looking for a team to guide you and help you on the best day of your life. We plan to spend our anniversaries at the Inn on site since the place brings back such happy memories.

AMAZING all around!
We are so glad we chose to have our wedding here! The entire weekend was perfect from start to finish. We loved that you can spend your whole wedding weekend on site with everything the Inn has to offer. We had our wedding in the Inn ballroom and it was beautiful. And taking waterfront sunset pictures gave us the best of both worlds. The team is incredible at making sure your vision comes to life. And a HUGE shoutout to Erin for spearheading our day! She was amazing to work with. -

From our open-house tour to the end of our wedding day, we had nothing but wonderful experiences working with CBBC! Everyone on staff, and especially their coordinators, are extremely knowledgeable and responsive. My coordinator was Samantha and she was so helpful, responsive, and understanding throughout the planning process. She was amazing during the rehearsal and on the wedding day, making sure that we had everything we needed.
They also host food tastings for all the couples to try many samples from their menu, and this was one of our favorite events of our wedding planning! There are many food options to select from and every bite that we had was delicious! Our guests raved about the food.
Part of our reason for picking CBBC was that we loved both indoor and outdoor options, which was great to consider as it was pouring rain on our wedding day. The efforts of the whole team to keep the parties and guests as dry as possible despite the heavy rain was amazing. It is so clear that everyone at CBBC are professionals and experts in what they do! We are SO happy to have gotten married there. -

I pretty much knew CBBC was the one before I even saw it in person. We toured a couple other venues but nothing compared to the beauty of the sunset ballroom. Since we were planning from California, I especially loved that they offered so many services on site (catering, coordinator, hair & makeup, hotel for me and my guests, etc)
All of my wedding guests said my wedding was the BEST EVER and I owe sooo much of that to CBBC and the amazing staff.
I was lucky enough to work with Teresa as my coordinator and she was so helpful from the very beginning. My husband and I live in Los Angeles but planning from out of town was a breeze thanks to CBBC. Teresa was so quick to answer any questions I had about the venue.
My husband and I truly had so much fun at our group tasting. We felt like we really got to know the space before the big day and act like guests at our own wedding! Trying all the amazing food and drinks and meeting the staff and other couples was a blast. I love how they set up the tables with different centerpieces so I could visualize my own decor.
Our actual wedding weekend ran so smoothly and I have Teresa and Marta to thank for that. These ladies worked over time to keep our guests happy, and our event on time without making anything feel too rushed. They took such great care of me, my husband, and my parents. Marta stayed with me leading up to the ceremony holding the train of my dress and even wrapped a blanket around me in between family photos because it was chilly by the water. They greeted us with champagne after our ceremony and a tray of appetizers in the bridal suite so we could catch a breath and some food before joining cocktail hour.
I could not recommend CBBC for your wedding enough. This was truly the best day of my life and I will treasure the amazing photos, videos and memories forever. -

Wow! Is all I can say! Chesapeake Beach Club was amazing. My daughter had the most beautiful stress free wedding. Samantha was amazing as well as all the staff involved! The food was delicious, the service was wonderful. I could not have asked for more. The place is beautiful! My daughter got married upstairs as the sun was setting and it did not look real. The more beautiful setting you have ever seen! There were absolutely no problems with anything. Samantha took care of everything!
If I had another daughter I would marry her at the Beach Club for sure! Thank you to everyone who made this day so special! -

We just got married about 10 days ago, and I cannot say enough great things about the Beach Club and their staff. Everything went flawlessly. The team at CBBC are consummate professionals, which took so much stress off me and really allowed me to enjoy the day. The food was excellent, and the space and view are unbeatable. Our day-of coordinator, Teresa, handled all the logistics and the vendors and got myself and my husband wherever we needed to be with efficiency and a smile. The Chesapeak Bay Beach Club is the ultimate place to host your wedding or any event. They have so many different options and places to chose from, perfect for any occasion. The wedding team and staff is top notch! We had our wedding on 1/7/2023 which had to be changed last minute from our original day in June, and everything went flawlessly!!! Erin and her wedding team made the wedding planning process stressless. They are on top of everything leading up to the big day and on the big day itself. Communication throughout planning and up to the big day was constant and reassuring. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. It was worth every penny to have our wedding here. The food was also incredible and our guests kept raving about it.
We stayed at the Inn and loved our room. The decor, style and room itself truly felt like a home and high end resort. So many details of the room made our stay comfortable. We can’t wait to come back in the future when in town or for our anniversary.
The entire staff at the Chesapeak Bay Beach Club made us feel so special on our day and made us feel like family. -

I am so happy we chose CBBC for our wedding. We used the Tavern Ballroom for our reception and had just over 100 guests. Our ceremony was on the lawn and we didn't even need a ceremony arch or anything - having the bay as our backdrop was just perfect. The service was top notch all night, guests were able to get drinks at the bar quickly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the tater tot bar and crab cake station for cocktail hour!
The entire planning process went very smoothly thanks to our coordinator, Samantha. She was always quick to respond to my emails with random questions and menu changes in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding. She was also super helpful on the day of, even packing up our decor items at the end of the night! It was so convenient staying at The Inn, and I used their salon/spa for hair and make-up for myself, the moms, and bridesmaids. They came to our suite in the barn and they did an amazing job!
Just a fair warning that you will EASILY surpass the food & beverage minimum if you want multiple options at cocktail hour, desserts, late night snacks, etc. But it's totally worth it. -

The Perfect Day
Best venue ever!! We just had our wedding on the Tavern Ball Room lawn June 24 2022. My husband and I still have a permanent glow from such a wonderful day. Teresa Hunter and her staff are top notch. Teresa was with us from the start in the process as our personal wedding coordinator. She made all of our dreams come true. First off the venue itself is worth it, because it’s GORGEOUS. We knew we didn’t need many decorations because it speaks for itself in beauty. Once you secure your date, you will be scheduled for a group tasting with 100-200 people. We went In January and it was basically like attending a pre-wedding. They had open bar, happy hour, sit down dinner. Showing all the different options you can have for your wedding. We had the absolute BEST time. The food was AMAZING. We walked out of there so so excited to do it all over again but with our friends and family. The filet minion and crab cake was SOO good! We honestly were not positive how they could have medium rare steaks and crab cakes that taste good for all these people. The day of our wedding the food was even better!!! Many people came up to us saying that the cocktail hour food was amazing, they were so full that they weren’t sure how to eat dinner! Then after dinner we had a ton of guest tell us that they have been to 40+ weddings and ours had the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Around 8:15pm we were able to have sunset photos!! The venue knows how amazing the sunset is, so they paused our dinner so everyone could go out and take a bunch of photos. It was a huge highlight. They have a large strip of sand and beach so the photos come out sooo stunning. Once I came up from the beach photos, Teresa comes over with a towel to wipe my feet off. WHO does that?? CBBC If you are reading this, please give her a raise lol. During the ceremony, you can also hear the waves crashing on the shore. Absolutely peaceful and made it even more special. My husband and I walked away just in absolute awe. There was nothing I would have changed about the day. It was perfect. The venue has everything down to a science and really make you feel like a celebrity for a day. I have so much respect and happiness for this venue. Please don’t hesitate to book this venue. Also please don’t hesitate to invite me to your wedding, because I would Love to go back!!! 😃😃 -

Incredible Venue!
The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is such a beautiful waterfront venue, and was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We were in the Sunset Ballroom, which also included an adjacent room for dancing, and two incredible spaces to choose from for our ceremony-- their enclosed rooftop or outdoor lawn, which ended up working out perfectly with the beautiful weather we had. The entire team was extremely attentive, helpful, and flexible on all our questions and customizations, and made the day completely stress-free and perfect! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Samantha and the staff at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. From our very first Saturday tour, to our follow up email interaction to create a contract we knew that we were dealing with true professionals that were going to ensure we had the smoothest day possible. I work 50 hour work weeks, and I wasn’t sure initially how a DOC would stack up against a full wedding planner. Samantha and the team over at the beach club conducted frequent check-in’s with me throughout my entire planning process, and not only did they encourage that I reach out with any questions or concerns, but they were always timely with their communication back to me. I had the biggest weight lifted off of my shoulders after our wedding planning session with Samantha back in January. Every last detail of our special day had been accounted for! The beach club was very accommodating in allowing me to bring over all of my supplies and décor throughout the week of the wedding and they even allowed me to stage it all. Samantha was constantly checking in to make sure we were all squared away for Saturday. Our rehearsal was held the day prior - Samantha just has a way of engaging with others, commanding a room, and keeping everyone on task while also maintaining a fun energy and ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone. Now on to the big day itself – people are still complementing the day and sharing that they have never seen a wedding flow so smoothly. From start to finish there were no questions about where to go or when, and there were none of those awkward moments between events that you sometimes see occur at weddings. We had a rather large bridal party, and a wild one at that, but Samantha ensured everyone knew their places and where to be. Samantha was the last person everyone saw before taking their places. She fixed my strap that popped off (twice) seconds before walking down the aisle, and I was flustered in the moment but she was so calm and corrected it with ease. She fluffed my dress, she fed me before photos, she helped bustle my dress, I could go on and on. Bottom line- she knows what the heck she is doing and you would be incredibly lucky to have her as a part of your special day. As previously mentioned, the rest of the staff is fantastic. From Erin and Teresa answering emails during the initial planning process and supporting Samantha throughout her time off, to the staff in the parking lot and the serving/bartending staff ensuring our guests knew where to go and that they were well fed and taken care of, to Jess ensuring Tyler and I had everything we needed the entire day and even wiping my feet down after sunset beach photos, to Tyra and Emily at the Inn ensuring that Tyler and I along with our guests felt welcomed and comfortable (they even handed out our goodie bags for us!) not to mention the Inn/Beach Club left a sweet note and flowers in our suite the night of the wedding. The beach club was actually hosting more than one event on my wedding day but you would never be able to tell, we never even crossed paths with another bridal party/group of guests. I’m sure that I am missing some recognition, however I am so very impressed with this Venue and their entire team, I can assure you that if you book with the CBBC, that you will have a beautiful and memorable wedding weekend that your guests will be talking about for months.

Teresa and Marta were the most amazing day planners and coordinators who helped to make our day run flawlessly. Teresa took care of everything from working with décor and lighting rentals to providing a schedule and running the rehearsal and wedding itself. Marta was right there with us the whole night, bringing us appetizers during photos after the ceremony to make sure we ate and grabbing bobby pins when we had a hair malfunction. I could not be more grateful for their expertise and attention to detail.
The venue itself is beyond gorgeous, luckily we had a nice day that we could take photos outside, but I knew that the inside was just as pretty if weather didn't cooperate and we had to keep everything inside (great for peace of mind).
The food was INCREDIBLE. Everything from the apps to the dinners to the late night snacks were so, so good. You will not be disappointed with anything you order from CBBC. -

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our guests raved about how amazing the food was, how perfect the views/locations was, how great the wait/bar staff was (no one ever had to wait for a drink). The shuttles to and from the hotel were perfect, especially on our snowy March wedding day. Everyone we encountered was extremely respectful, and made our wedding day perfect. -

Incredible Wedding with the Help of CBBC
From the moment 2.5 years ago that we decided to get married at CBBC to our COVID related postponement to finally our wedding day this past August, CBBC couldn't have been better at helping us along the way. They are absolute pros at what they do and made us feel at ease about our big day throughout the entire process. I truly cannot say enough nice things about our coordinator, Samantha, who answered all of our emails and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. Multiple family members and friends raved about her professionalism and skill. Also, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and caring during the entire event. Our day was made extra special by a venue that cares. -

After postponing our wedding in Utah twice we decided to move it to Maryland by family and were on a time crunch. After touring both venues I completely fell in love with the atmosphere. We only had about 6 months to re-plan everything, and it was the most seamless 6 months we could have asked for. Our planner was Samantha and she was incredible! From my endless questions to a quicker timeline, she handled everything with grace, flexibility and professionalism. She felt like a friend more than a vendor. All of my guests commented on how much they loved staying at the Barn at the Inn and how beautiful everything was, and the guests who didn't stay were bummed they didn't. The food was fantastic as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience everything the venue has to offer due to wedding chaos, but our guests enjoyed Knoxie's grill and the dipping pools and bikes for rent. The actual wedding day was seamless thanks to Samantha and team. The timeline felt natural and there really were no hiccups. My husband and I were catered to and our guests were extremely happy. We got married at the Inn and although the Beach Club is more popular due to being by the water, I would have to say that being steps away from our room was so worth it as well as having our own tented, cozy dance floor outside of the reception space. We got our hair and makeup done from the Spa onsite and they were incredible as well - we even got to get ready in our rooms! The fireplaces outside were a good hang out spot for us for the night before as well. I could go on and on about the venue and its staff - thank you again to Samantha and the whole team at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for making our day perfect. We will definitely be back for an anniversary! -

Choosing the CBBC was the best decision we made through out this wedding planning process. We visited 10+ venues, and none of them compare to food, landscape, beauty, staff, coordinators, the inn, etc. We were blown away. I worked with Samantha as my day of coordinator, but she played such a key role in helping make my day a success. I didn't have a wedding planner so I emailed her 10 times a day, and she always answered my questions so quickly even when her away message was up. I expected to be a little nervous, but as soon as my girls and I pulled up to the venue and I saw Samantha I relaxed and trusted everything would go smoothly. She was truly phenomenal. My guests are still raving about the food, beach access, tavern lawn, and sunset. We couldn't have been happier with choosing the CBBC. -

Like most we postponed and replanned due to covid. Teresa made our experience because she was extremely responsive and made sure any request were met. I had my eye on CBBC since before I was engaged in 2019, I knew they booked up fast and was so excited for our summer 2020 wedding, so much changed with Covid but I could not be more thankful to have chosen CBBC and have had Samantha Rutherford as our coordinator. They worked with us on rescheduling and providing accommodations for social distancing and safely during covid - especially with the delta variant. Yes this venue is pricey but it's worth every penny for what a well oiled machine and accommodating venue in all aspects. If you can have Samantha as your coordinator you will be so lucky she is THE BEST! -

We had the absolute best day at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and it was no happy accident. We truly had a very challenging weather day but the team at CBBC was so unbelievable I never had to think about a thing and I felt so calm through the entire process because I knew they had it all under control. Basically, we not only had a scorcher (100+ degrees and humid) but all of a sudden it started to storm (it was not in the weather forecast until the day of) and the team at CBBC had it all completely perfectly orchestrated I didn't have to fret about a thing. Samantha our venue contact and day of coordinator was the best of the best. She is incredible and everything you could want in someone handling your wedding. She responds so quickly (which as a millennial; I appreciate so much!) but she is also so knowledgeable and has a way to put you at total ease. I loved working with her and she is truly someone who is so positive and perfect on your wedding day! Everyone in our bridal party was so impressed by her and our flawless ceremony rehearsal and the logistics during photos and the actual wedding day; it was all thanks to Samantha. It was flawless! We can't thank her enough!
At this point in the review, I have to mention that I am actually a wedding planner and I deal with a ton of venues and vendors; CBBC exceeded every expectation and experience I have had thus far with a venue. They truly know their stuff, which is actually very rare in this industry. Venues are a dime a dozen in this area but it is so hard to find a venue that has the logistics down. CBBC knows the logistics and executes a wedding beyond your wildest expectations. Their staff is incredibly well trained which is something that is hard to put a dollar amount on. As a planner, having a venue that knows exactly what they are doing is not a norm and usually the reason a couple decides to hire a planner is because their venue is all over the place and they are so stressed trying to decipher what the venue is telling them from day to day. Throughout the entire process, we had a clear understanding of what was expected from us and how the process worked. The entire set-up, meal service, reception service, cake cutting, dancing, breakdown, etc. was perfect and planned to the T. I never had to worry about a thing and as a planner I definitely had my eye on everything "behind the scenes" and everything even from a trained eye was perfection.
When my fiance and I were looking for a venue, logistics and the overall management of the venue was soooooo important to me because I had seen so many venues really struggle with true service and the ability to manage and execute a wedding. Choosing a venue is so much more than just the views, the food, what is included, etc. It is the people and the management of the property. CBBC has a staff that has been with the venue for years. To someone in the industry, this speaks volumes. Most venues have extremely high turnover rate which results in a less than perfect experience for couples who are planning a wedding there. Usually, throughout planning a wedding with one of my couples we get passed off to 2-3 different "coordinators" within a year (because of staff leaving). CBBC knows how to retain a staff and everyone tells you the exact same thing. They actually have a process and a method to the madness which is so unbelievably refreshing to see (I can't tell you how many crazy things I have seen and endured!). Yes, it definitely isn't a property where you can totally go off the grid and do your own thing, but trust me, what you will get will be incredible and sometimes not having to sweat the small stuff is worth not having the totally unique experience. Guests will forget your flowers, they will forget the unique favors, but they won't forget (or really understand until they are at a poorly managed wedding) how seamless your event was or how great the food was, or how well timed and managed everything was. Logistics, staffing, timing, and overall management are everything.
I should mention the venue is beautiful. They really maintain the property and reinvest a ton of money in their venues. It always looks incredible no matter the time of year. We had our wedding in the Tavern Ballroom which my fiance and I loved for its intimate feel and beautiful aesthetic. We loved that the dance floor and bar shared a space as this helped to keep people on the dance floor. We loved the grounds and the hotel included in the property which aided in a stress free wedding weekend.
I really cannot recommend CBBC enough. I have never seen a venue go this far above and beyond and the service was impeccable. Every service member was smiling and so helpful. It was the best experience and I am so thankful we chose this venue!
If you are comparing venues, don't forget to compare the actual logistical element and who will actually be there on your wedding day. Are you working with a new venue working out the kinks? Or are you working with a venue with years of proven experience? Not all venues can be compared by price, you must look beyond the dollars to understand the true value and CBBC is worth every penny. -

Our wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was an absolute dream. We knew the CCBC was “the one” the second we stepped onto the campus. The word “venue” really doesn’t do justice to the whole operation of the CBBC. With over 25 years of experience hosting weddings, the CBBC is the complete package that will help ensure every aspect of your day goes smoothly. Located right on the water, the beauty and coastal charm of every single space is breathtaking.
After having to delay our wedding for nearly a year, Samantha Rutherford (our assigned wedding coordinator) kept our spirits high and helped navigate us through the uncertainty of the pandemic with incredible kindness, understanding, and responsiveness. The lead up to the wedding is such a huge part of the experience and Samantha played a major role in making it as enjoyable and special as possible. She talked us through every question big and small and helped lay out different options to work within our budget. Her years of experience with a wide range of couples and attention to detail gave us the comfort and clarity needed so that we felt confident with every decision made. She directed the set-up, made sure we had an orderly, cohesive timeline, and was always on the same page with our vision of the space. Throughout our wedding night, ALL the wedding reception staff were incredible and so attentive. We felt so cared for and couldn’t have asked for better service. They facilitated the party of our lives and provided DELICIOUS food for our guests (the crab cakes were some of the best we’ve ever had – coming from two lifelong Marylanders). We are so grateful for the level of professionalism and warmth given to us and will never forget the memories created that day.

AMAZING!!! Best venue in the world!
This venue is seriously the best in Maryland!! The work that our wedding coordinator put into and leading up to the day of the wedding was amazing!! Shout out to Samantha Rutherford!! Everything went smoothly, looked beautiful, and the food is sooooo yummy!! I wish I could do the day again because it was that AMAZING! Covid changed some things, but turned out even better than imagined!!! We got married on the rooftop deck and had dinner inside the sunset ballroom. Dancing and cocktail hour were outside and that was perfect since it was October. We even got it heated which was nice when the sun went down. Did I mention how good the food and drinks are? I feel like this place is expensive, HOWEVER, if you want a dream wedding this is the place to go!! Worth every penny!! Shout out to all the staff for providing a wonderful service on our day!! They truly cared and made sure everyone was taken care of!
Also, it was very convenient staying at the INN on site!! This hotel is beyond beautiful. They worked with me to block rooms off a year before the wedding. The food is also good there!!
We will be returning next year for our anniversary. -

After our engagement, we knew that we wanted a venue that was in the middle of our two families. CBBC was our first visit and we knew that same day that it was the venue for us. I can tell you, CBBC is THE BEST! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was stressful, but CBBC promptly took action to figure out how to re-work everything under 2020’s “new normal.” We worked with Teresa, who was amazing and reassuring every step of the way. We were married 9/12/2020 and, despite COVID, CBBC was able to host our wedding and made sure it was not only safe for all of our guests, but also super fun. The food was delicious (the filet was praised by all who got it that night). We felt like royalty as the staff always made sure we either received enough appetizers, or that our drinks were always full. The venue, both inside and outside, was absolutely beautiful. We would recommend CBBC who is looking for an amazing wedding experience.

CBBC is one of a kind!
As a bride who did probably over 10 venue visits on the Eastern Shore/Annapolis area I can tell you, CBBC is THE BEST! We were married 9/19/2020 & I am so glad we did not postpone because CBBC was able to host a party that was so fun but also safe for Covid. The food was delicious, drinks always full & stunning views all around, what more could we ask for from a venue?! Erin was very responsive from day one over a year ago & quickly addressed any questions/concerns. We love CBBC!! We got married at the inn ballroom & we were absolutely pleased. Our day of coordinator Theresa walked us through the initial questions when we toured the venue, through the tasting, and was our Day of coordinator the day of. Marta was also another amazing staff member that helped out the day off.
This venue takes care of it all, day of coordinator, staff, and food/alcohol! The food is amazing!! All of the staff (bartenders, servers, etc) were all pleasant! Everything went smoothly the day of, and that was a result of choosing this venue! -

I recently got married September 1st at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and we had our Rehearsal at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and both the wedding and rehearsal and everything leading up were great experiences. CBBC is very accommodating and has great selections to make your day perfect! Prior to the wedding from the walk through, tasting and onsite meetings Teresa made everything very easy and was helpful in changing and menu selections. On the day of the wedding Teresa and the CBBC staff were all great they made sure we had everything we needed, were there to assist my onsite coordinator with set up and packing up everything at the end of the evening. The Venue is beautiful you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place on the bay to get married. Since the wedding we have heard from everyone about how great the food was! We worked with Kellen for the rehearsal he was great! He was always available to answer questions and made the whole process very easy. Also, the food for the rehearsal to was amazing! I would give CBBC 10 out of 10- we loved everything and had best night. -

Best place to get married! This was the one and only venue we looked at, no need to look else where. They have everything on site for you, makeup, hair, nails, spa, bar, restaurants, and my favorite fire pit. They know what they are doing and my timeline was followed as written. From the first tour, through the tastings, planning sessions, and pre-wedding panic over a possible hurricane, to the event itself, Erin and the staff were the picture of thoroughness and professionalism. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service crisp and attentive.
The staff at the Inn on the property deserves high praise as well. Many guests stayed on the property and the rehearsal dinner was held there. Rave reviews all around. Both properties are well-appointed, classy and comfortable.
You absolutely get what you pay for at this venue. Highly recommended. -

Kelsey Sent on 08/30/2018Since I was much younger, viewing the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club every summer as we drove to the beach, my dream was to one day get married at CBBC. Immediately following our engagement, I insisted my fiance, mother and I visit the Club, as I knew their popularity and scheduling might be difficult. While others tried to advise me to keep my options open, I had decided on CBBC before I had even met with any employees, or seen the interior. However, from the second we walked into the venue, my mom and now husband immediately understood why I had always dreamed of getting married there, and our awe of the venue never changed throughout the wedding planning process. Not only are the grounds, interior, decor, furniture, and set-up absolutely impeccable, but the service is one of a kind. Our tasting was absolutely remarkable, bringing in a variety of vendors, having all guests sample almost every part of the menu.
We were able to meet the entire staff at CBBC, and were then assigned our day-of planner. Erin responded to all email and call correspondences, giving us the information needed, offering us support and guidance, and always answering our list of never-ending questions. She worked closely with all of our vendors, and on our wedding day, I think I am the only bride in the world to say that I had absolutely no worries or concerns. Even with 180 guests, we can confidently say that each one complimented the food as being one of the best crab cakes they had ever had, the service was incomparable, and the venue was the most beautiful they had ever attended. Additionally, our rehearsal dinner was perfectly executed at the CBBC Inn, and I couldn't give a more glowing review for their service, chefs, housekeeping, grounds and lodging. I could not speak more highly of CBBC, the Inn, and all their employees who work to ensure your day is seamless and as perfect as you had wanted. Our sincerest gratitude to all of you! -

Our selection of entree was the Filet Mignon/crabcakes and chicken/crabcakes. The guests were complimenting the food all night. The staff was professional and always a step ahead. We were lucky to have Erin as our wedding planner. I was relaxed and able to enjoy being in the moment thanks to Erin. The reception was in the gorgeous Beach House Ballroom and cocktail hour in the Tavern Bayside. It was the best day ever! Thank you for the great venue!❤️

From the tasting they arrange to the help planning and decorating they help make the process so easy (well as easy as planning a wedding can be)! Everyone we met and worked with there was so friendly and helpful, they know what good customer service means. The venue is stunning; we had our wedding ceremony on the Sunset rooftop and reception in the Sunset Ballroom and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food...omg the food is amazing. Our guests are still talking about how this was the best food at a wedding they have ever had (and it is...I have been too many, many weddings). We had Samantha as our planner and she was delightful to deal with and always super responsive. She gave us great ideas and tips and helped pull off our day without issue. This is a first class place with great service, food and drink selections. I could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else...choose the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and I promise you will not be disappointed!

We ended going with the Beach Club because the value was better and didn't require too much traveling for our guests. Our wedding coordinator/planner was Teresa Hunter. You won't need to hire a separate day of wedding coordinator. She was professional, knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and responsive. You can tell she knows her stuff during your meeting with her. You are in good hands! The Beach Club venue was incredible. Our guests are still talking about it. The best part about the Beach Club is that your guests are not confined to one area during the wedding. You are essentially renting out a mini wing/estate. Your guest can socialize on the lawn, the tavern, the outdoor spaces (with chairs/tables), foyer, and ballroom. The wedding was amazing. It was so organized and smooth. This is all due to the amazing team at the Beach Club. They really know how to throw a great wedding.
The bride will also be assigned someone to take care of her throughout the wedding day. I think it was the captain but literally this lady was so great (I forgot her name because it's been 4 weeks). She made sure my glass was always full, made sure I ate, retrieved my shoes, even wiped my feet for me (after it got dirty from the sand), packed up all the decorations in the car, etc. Everybody needs a helper like this lady. Also, the food is amazing!! Our guests were obsessed with the food. We went with the filet and crab cake, asparagus, and potato au gratin.
The Beach Club is more expensive than the average venue but totally worth it. For ease of mind, gorgeous scenery, spacious venue, and a well-organized team. Also, book at least a year in advance if you want a Saturday. We were 11 months out and all Saturdays were booked. We had to settle for a Friday.
