Kim is AMAZING. I would HIGHLY recommend using her and the Chere Rosalie team (and I am very particular!!!). My family and I are absolutely blown away by Kim’s incredible planning abilities and enjoyed every minute of working with her. We worked with Kim from day one on everything from the floral design, invitations, photographer options, hair and makeup to every detail of planning our large destination wedding weekend at Cedar Lakes Estate. As a very busy bride with limited time to spend on wedding planning, Kim worked tirelessly to turn our vision into a wedding weekend for 300 people that exceeded our expectations. She helped us to create a truly unique and one of kind experience focused on every small detail for our guests. Our guests are still talking about our weekend as the best wedding weekend they've ever attended. Kim is very detailed and has a very special way of creating a unique experience based on getting to know the bride and groom. When we were stuck on what decisions to make, she provide options quickly and clearly. Our wedding weekend went off without a single glitch (very rare for a 3 day 300 person event). With Kim we got to enjoy every minute of the weekend and focus on having a great time, as she and her team handled it all. She is very professional, thoughtful, kind and well networked in the New York and surrounding community. I HIGHLY recommend Kim and the Chere Rosalie team for any event large or small. They planned and executed the wedding weekend of my dreams, and I already miss working with them. -

Kim was absolutely vital to our wedding planning process. Firstly, she made the venue selection process SO MUCH EASIER by researching and communicating with each location. We got to choose from a curated list which really cut down the amount of time we needed to spend on research. Our venue was all a la carte, so everything needed to be brought in, including restrooms. Kim not only helped us pick our other vendors, but then she coordinated EVERYTHING with them. She had amazing design ideas, and really listened to what we were trying to achieve. Hiring a wedding planner was the best decision we ever made, and we feel that Kim was the perfect fit for us. She has an eye for sophisticated and striking design, but works to stay in budget while still achieving your dreams. We are so happy that we did this with Kim! If you are on the fence, make this your sign to plan a wedding with Kim!

We were so lucky to have Kim and her team as our wedding planners. We opted for their Day of + Design package, and it was definitely worth it - made our wedding planning experience so much more enjoyable.
Kim has an incredible eye for detail and ability to bring visions to life. We wanted a moody, candlelit fall wedding at a mountain house, and Kim helped us achieve that perfectly. She was so helpful in guiding us on how to best use our budget and make the most of our venue.
Our day-of coordinator, Kristina, was amazing. She was so organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that she was on top of everything.
We can’t thank Kim and Kristina enough for making our wedding day so special. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. -

We loved how our wedding turned out, and a big thanks goes to Chère Rosalie. Working with Kim was such a joy. Sharing a background in journalism meant we clicked right away. The skills needed for broadcast news — organization, diligence, and attention to detail— are the same ones that made our wedding design and coordination a success. Kim was incredibly supportive throughout the process, honoring our preferences and giving great advice.
She brought to life our vision of a fun, summery, and romantic wedding with classic touches. The rentals and florals added stunning textures and colors that made our New York City celebration uniquely ours. The ceremony and reception spaces were totally transformed. It was everything I dreamed of and more, I was completely in awe.
Not only did our guests love the design, we also received numerous compliments on our wedding timeline and flow.
Thank you so much to Delaney, whose impeccable coordination and communication with our venue and our vendors ensured that our day moved along seamlessly and kept the energy high. Her calm demeanor and handling of the many moving parts allowed us to fully enjoy and feel present for our special day. Delaney’s warmth toward our family members and friends also meant the world.

The BEST wedding planning experience!
I absolutely loved working with Kim both in the months leading up to the wedding and on the day of! We truly never could've anticipated how perfect and special it would all turn out and it wouldn't have been possible without Kim! She executed our wedding weekend in New York City flawlessly from start to finish, including our rehearsal dinner at Dirty French and our wedding day at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Guests raved about everything (from the flowers to the linens to the cadence of the events), all of which were carefully curated by Kim. She was incredibly patient with me throughout the planning process and communicated with vendors on our behalf to make everything seamless and easier on our end. She understood my vision and knew exactly how to explain it to vendors, including a lot of back and forth on creating our incredibly customized invitation suite. Her calm demeanor and support leading up to our rain plan was so appreciated, and when it did rain she handled the room swap and every detail without me having to stress in the slightest. There are too many amazing things to say about Kim and the entire Chere Rosalie team, but those are some of the many highlights. I HIGHLY recommend using her for your wedding! -

Kim was recommended to us by a photographer we were considering, and from the moment we spoke with her, we knew she was the one.
Kim is a force of nature. We had an accelerated timeline, and honestly there’s no way we would’ve been able to execute everything we wanted to without Kim’s guidance, support and poise.
What I love most about Kim is that she’s like your best friend who will support you and be there for you in EVERY way, AND not be shy about pushing back or telling you when something is a horrible idea in the most loving & gentle way possible. (Looking back, thank goodness she stopped me from doing certain things! Ha)
And where Kim really shines is in her creativity & design. My now husband & I went into the rentals meeting thinking ‘Simple white linen, white plates, minimal everything.’ But Kim totally blew us away with her recommendations when she picked out the most unique pieces that went together so nicely.
I ended up deferring a lot of design related decisions to Kim because 1) I trust her & her taste completely; and 2) I knew she would do an amazing job translating my vision to execution perfectly. Our wedding ceremony and reception were both so magical. It was everything I dreamed of and more, and Kim deserves a lot of credit for that.
On the morning of the wedding day, the moment I saw Kim, I said to her, “I already feel better knowing you’re here.” And it was true. Just having Kim there eased my anxiety and nerves because I knew that she’s got it all under control.
Our wedding day was so seamless and smooth (many of our guests noticed and made comments about it too!) thanks to Kim and her team. Every time I looked over at Kim, she was doing a million things all at once doing what she does best.
I really don’t know how she does it. She’s a busy woman with a lot of clients to look after, and yet, she still makes you feel like you’re the only one. We’re so grateful for her.

Kim and the team at Chere Rosalie worked with us for over a year and a half. When the day finally arrived everything was amazing. Kim was able to visualize and bring to life my daughter's dream wedding.
Kim always listened to our thoughts and ideas. Her contacts and vendor suggestions were perfect. You look at pictures of weddings and say I like this or that looks great. Never did I realize until working with Kim and her team everything that goes into making that vision a reality.
Without hesitation I recommend Kim and Chere Rosalie. On my daughter's wedding day I was able to relax and enjoy every moment because I knew they were taking care of everything. -

Working with Kim and her team was an amazing experience. Throughout the entire planning process, she felt like a true partner. She took time to really get to know us both as a couple and individually. She really invests in creating a personal relationship with her clients, which makes it easy to collaborate and for her to put together an event that's really meaningful and exactly the way you want it to be. She's organized, incredibly detail-oriented, and prides herself on delivering the best and most special wedding day for brides, grooms, and their families. She also shines on the day of the wedding. She and her team work tirelessly to create a great experience for the couple (especially the bride) and allow for the couple to focus 100% on their day, and none of the logistics. She's truly a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!

Kim is the most amazing party planner. As the mother of the bride, I can't say enough good things about Kim. With her big smile and cheery personality, she took care of every detail large and small. She took care of every vendor, contract, and decorative detail. Kim was always available to us and got us answers to every question. The entire weekend wedding was perfect! We had a large wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate, but I know Kim has worked in many different venues. Sarah is amazing also. These women are incredibly competent and excellent at their jobs. Working with them on this milestone in our lives made everything even better! -

Kim is truly amazing!! It was such a pleasure to work with her for our wedding. Her energy was exactly what we needed from our planner -- organized, responsive, patient, flexible. Our wedding day was perfect, and most importantly, we enjoyed it to its fullest – thank you, Kim, for making this happen for us! We are so grateful to have worked with someone so thoughtful and reliable.
We hired Kim with a “month of” coordination package. Her pre-wedding day support was surprisingly robust and greatly appreciated! I had been optimistic that I could cover most of the planning myself, but in the weeks leading up, all the details really start to pile up and decision fatigue set in. Enter: Kim. We had a deep dive call where I laid everything out – planned and unplanned. I could tell she genuinely cared with how she invested herself into this process. She took time to understand the vision, and then jumped right in, making suggestions and taking initiative. She worked directly with our venue and vendors on logistics and nailed down the timelines and seating arrangements – offering much needed expertise in these areas. At the last minute, she even offered up some “extras” from her arsenal for our use - a card box & easel – crossing off those last lingering to-do’s that were distracting us from enjoying the weekend ahead.
On the day of our wedding, Kim was the backbone of the day. She knew the schedule like back of her hand. She was *everywhere* we needed her and invisible all the same. She ran around the venue, a 500 acre property, making sure everything was in order – checking in on the vendors, cross-referencing our contracts to account for all deliverables, orchestrating various activities we had planned for guests, all the while keeping time and subtly shepherding around the wedding party through getting-ready, photos, ceremony. She fully took the lead on all logistics for the day – even putting out unexpected “fires” like a blown fuse in the bridal suite. This allowed my husband and I to fully immerse ourselves in the day, focus on our guests, and enjoy.
We were truly impressed with the level of support we received, both leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Kim – we cannot thank you enough! -

Kim made our wedding day truly special. We had gone back and forth with Covid unsure if we could even pull the day off. Once we realized that our entire party would be vaccinated in time, Kim planned our wedding in 5 days. No joke. We told her on a Thursday and by the following Thursday we had a venue, flowers, photographer, hair and make up all booked. On the day, the venue was gorgeous and Kim planned everything seamlessly. It was an actual - no stress wedding. We didn't have to lift a finger. I highly recommend Kim and her company Chère Rosalie. If you get to have her as a wedding planner - you are truly blessed. -

Kim was a heaven-sent to us! Every bride needs Kim on their special day.
We couldn't have gotten luckier! Kim was heaven-sent to us; we had to postpone our wedding a week before it was scheduled to happen due to Covid. The process of re-planning was disheartening but finding Kim changed everything for us. She was responsive, organized, energetic, and a delight. Her enthusiasm helped me feel excited again and stress-free. The day of the wedding, Kim kept things running smoothly. Our ceremony was scheduled to happen outdoors but it had been raining all morning. Kim quickly came up with a back up plan that made us feel at ease; she was reassuring and I knew that with her running the ship, everything was going to be perfect. And it was! Kim loves what she is doing and that is the best energy to have on your special day. Don't think about it twice - every bride and groom needs Kim on their team! -

Kim is THE best
"Kim is the best," is a phrase my husband and I must have said to each other minimum 100x in our short 4-week wedding planning process.
In a pre-Covid world, we were going to spend 10 months planning a 140 person wedding in California. In the stark reality of 2020, we ended up spending 4 weeks planning a 25 person wedding in our New York backyard. We were worried that with the short timeline, the much smaller budget, Covid restrictions, and the stunted guest list, the wedding wouldn't feel real. We'd have our real wedding in California.
Enter Kim, a superhuman magician (or behind the scenes: an incredibly hardworking creative and organizational genius) who pulled together the most perfect day.
- She understood our vision immediately. I'd show her a picture of something I liked -- just as general inspiration -- and within hours she'd send me back something I could actually rent/buy that matched the picture almost exactly.
- She respected our budget. She was so adept at scouring the internet for affordable yet stylish pieces -- I assumed she only worked in that mode. But after peeping her Instagram, I saw that she's also a champion of the truly fancy NYC wedding. The woman does it all!
- She rolled up her sleeves, signing herself up for almost every DIY job of the wedding. At some point, my husband and I laughed about converting the outdoor shower into a photo booth. We told Kim our joke of an idea, and of course, she suggested a way to make it look stunning. When I mentioned that it would create a lot more work for her to assemble the photo booth, and her day-of to do list was already so long she replied with pure enthusiasm about making our day as special as possible. (Thank you, Kim, that photo booth was a hit)
- She is -- BONUS -- a Photoshop wizard and did things like design a menu for us which really just put the finishing touches on the day and made the wedding feel like it wasn't planned in 4 weeks.
- She was so, so, so available and on top of things.
- She knew how important it was to keep the wedding Covid safe. She carefully measured the space and then figured out how to put 7 to 8 feet between each table. Also, Kim was at our house (the venue) for at least a full 24 hours wedding weekend and somehow never once took off her mask.
- She is pure joy. She is your cheerleader. She is doing what she loves, and it shows.
So, we had our real wedding after all.
Like I said, Kim is THE best. I was never the kind of gal to dream and dream about my wedding. But, when I think back on the day, I feel straight giddy. Kim made it magical.

Hire her for your wedding!
I found Kim online after I searched for a wedding planner for a wedding I had 3 months to plan. I told her everything I wanted and she executed all of my ideas perfectly. She is resourceful and very attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner. Planning a wedding in three months wasn’t apart of my original plan but with all of her help, I have no regrets, it was exactly what we wanted. -

Kim is a born planner, and will go above and beyond to ensure your day is perfect! No aspect of your wedding will go overlooked, and she will spend countless hours making sure that you are happy. She created a day-of timeline for my wedding, and everything went super smoothly with her keeping us on schedule. She also introduced me to both a videographer and alterations company that were a perfect fit, literally. Even if attending a wedding as a guest, she can’t help but jump into action to make sure no detail goes unnoticed. Your wedding will be in the best possible hands with Kim as your planner, and your day will be one that you will treasure forever! -

We can’t say enough about how incredible Kim was during our wedding weekend. We had a 3-day celebration, including a 130-person welcome party at the bride’s parents’ house the day before the wedding, 150 guests at the wedding, and a farewell brunch for all the guests (also at the parents’ house) the day after, and having on-site coordinators was essential. From the beginning, we knew that we wanted to handle the planning/general direction of our wedding weekend ourselves, and wanted someone to help execute on the day of so that we could enjoy everything and spend time with our guests. Kim and her team were exactly what we needed at a really fair price that easily fit within our budget. They walked us through every detail in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and Kim executed everything to perfection. The whole team was extremely professional, organized, and on top of every detail. We didn’t have to worry about anything and could just have fun the entire weekend. We can’t recommend them highly enough! -

Kim Pestalozzi was my day of coordinator for my NYC wedding in August. The day ran smoothly and Kim was essential in making that happen. She anticipated my every need and was always thinking 10 steps ahead. Kim pretty much spent the day racing around, but when I needed her she was there within moments. She was prompt and professional at all times. Kim came prepared with a bag full of items that you might need but hadn't thought to bring. We were a very large group and Kim made it seem so easy managing us. Several of my bridesmaids later told me that Kim was amazing and so helpful. My mom later told me that she had no idea how we could have done anything that day without Kim. Thank you so much Kim!!! -

Kim coordinated my wedding and post wedding brunch. Going with Kim was one of the best decisions I made during the entire planning process. Kim made everything seamless and her calming organized presence let me go through the weekend without worrying about a single thing.
Kim is incredible and extremely organized, she understood every detail of the day and kept us all on schedule. We had a 200 person wedding and Kim handled everything with ease and grace even when my husband needed a button reinforced post-ceremony and my matron of honor split open a seam on her dress. Kim was right there and sewed everyone back together. I had no idea the dress had even tore until the next day! Kim has a magical way of anticipating our every need and kept us very well hydrated on a hot NY day.
Kim not only coordinated the brunch the following day by managing setup and dealing with vendors but also directed the staff working during the brunch. Kim was an absolute joy to work with, I cannot recommend Kim enough. Stop looking and just book her now!! -
