Chef Piñeiro and his team were truly incredible, and we are so grateful for the experience they provided. Months later, our friends and family are still speaking so highly of the food! From cocktail hour to the reception, every detail exceeded our expectations, and the service was the best! The team was also extremely accommodating and thoughtful when it came to our menu needs, making the entire process very seamless. Everything was incredible!
The food was phenomenal and so was the service.
We had a traditional Puerto Rican meal for our destination wedding. People couldn’t stop raving about the food. I wish we could have taken the leftovers with us. -

Beyond impressed with catering with Chef Piñeiro at Mesa 364! I did the puerto rican buffet style and my guests were wildly impressed. So traditional yet so elevated with incredible flavors! They really handled everything perfectly which allowed me to be very hands off after booking. Friends & family still rave about how amazing it was, especially the pig roast. Worth every penny!! -

From the moment we embarked on our journey to plan our special day, we knew that extraordinary food would be a cornerstone of our celebration. After a tasting experience in November 2023 that left us absolutely speechless, we were certain we had found the perfect chef to bring our vision to life.
Chef Piñeiro's passion for his craft is evident in every dish he creates. We knew that if we were bringing all our guests to Puerto Rico for our wedding, we didn't want basic wedding food that no one would remember. And Chef Piñeiro delivered beyond our wildest dreams. Under the guidance of Evelyn and the entire staff, Chef Piñeiro knocked it out of the park, crafting a culinary experience that left our guests raving for days.
The cocktail hour spread was nothing short of spectacular, with an array of delectable bites that had everyone's taste buds singing. But the real showstopper was the full display of the roasted pig, a centerpiece that was as visually stunning as it was mouthwateringly delicious. Every bite was a celebration of flavor, and our guests couldn't get enough. From the first taste to the last, they were licking their plates and begging for more.

Chef Piñeiro and his team were amazing, and the food was incredible. We had a destination wedding in PR, so not many of our guests had had Puerto Rican food before. Chef pulled out all the stops and served 3 amazing courses that everybody absolutely loved. I had people tell me days later that they were amazed by how perfectly cooked every steak was, and how seamlessly the team navigated our guests’ dietary restrictions. A few weeks before the wedding we requested a change to our ‘late night snack’ option, and the team was super responsive and flexible. Could not recommend Chef Piñeiro and his team highly enough. -

Wow, where do I begin with this incredible experience? Throughout the event, numerous guests approached me to express how this was the best meal they've ever had. From the delectable starters to the delicious soup, salad, and main course, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. It was pouring rain, but that didn't stop the food from being served piping hot. The teamwork and coordination among the staff were truly breathtaking, as they flawlessly delivered each plate. The service was top-notch, from the initial email correspondence to the tasting session. And to top it all off, we were fortunate enough to meet the renowned chef Piñeiro in person!

What a superb culinary experience! From the beginning of the planning process we were impressed by the Chef’s selection, his event coordinator (Evelyn, you rock!), the catering coordinator, and the response time to our inquiries. The Chef and his staff were on top of everything at the venue. The food was great, plentiful, and delicious. We can’t say enough about how impressed the guests were with the selection of local fare (they had seconds and thirds!) 500% recommended! -

I cannot recommend Enrique and his team enough! Our guests loved the Puerto Rican menu, and the catering staff could not have been more attentive. Communication was excellent and clear, and Enrique was able to accommodate special requests including a delicious dessert bar that our guests raved about. The buffet was attractive, easy to navigate, and most importantly delicious. Hire this team!! -

Mesa 364 and Chef Piñeiro exceeded our expectations. We got married in Puerto Rico in honor of my husband’s culture and because PR is just beautiful. It was very important to us to highlight all the wonderful aspects of the island, and since we love food, we wanted to make sure our guests, since many were traveling from outside, would enjoy some delicious Puerto Rican cuisine. I was so nervous because many times I have been to weddings with very mediocre food, but to this day all my family and friends talk about how delicious our food was. The food, the service, the attention to detail, everything was incredible. I truly recommend working with them for your weddings and other events! -

Aguada Wedding
Chef Piñeiro and the Mesa 364 were the stars of our wedding! From the beginning of our communication, Eveylen with the Mesa 364 team was extremely responsive and helpful. With her responsiveness, we were able to very easily plan from New York all of the food for our 75 person wedding.
Luckily, the Mesa 364 team was also able to travel all the way across the island to Aguada from San Juan. On the big day the whole team was incredibly profession, efficient, timely and clean. Chef Piñeiro and his whole staff were so kind and personable yet efficient and impressive. The food tasted unbelievable and looked so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Our guests are STILL talking about the food almost a month later. One of our guests is a professionally trained chef in New York and snuck a glimpse in the kitchen and was so impressed by how amazing the prep work and care that went into every single plate that made it to our guests tables. Our whole wedding can say that we are Chef Piñeiro and Mesa 364’s newest and biggest fans!

We hired Mesa 364 for our destination wedding catering and were absolutely blown away by just how delicious all of our food was on our wedding day.
Since we don’t live in Puerto Rico, we booked everything without ever tasting the food, and knew that Mesa 364 would deliver. My husband is a big foodie and has worked in the industry for over 10 years, so having great food was something we really wanted for our guests at our wedding. Throughout the planning process, They were easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our menu meaningful to us and something everyone would enjoy. At the wedding, they made sure my husband and I enjoyed plenty of the delicious and expertly crafted food by offering table service to us even though we had a buffet for guests. Pretty much every single one of our guests cannot stop raving about how delicious the food was, saying it was the best wedding food they have ever experienced, and we completely agree. It’s difficult to create a five star dining experience for a large group of people, but Mesa 364 did it with ease and excellent service. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. They truly are the best! -

Chef Piñeiro with Mesa 364 was PHENOMENAL and exceeded every expectations on the day of the wedding ranging from the beautiful presentation, delectable taste, and exceptional service to everyone! I am so ecstatic that our Planner Rosalina (Momentus) recommended Chef Piñeiro! Our guests (both local and nonlocal to Puerto Rico) LOVED the exhilarating food, from the appetizers, to the soup, salad, to the plated entrees (we had filet mignon with lobster, Roasted Chicken, and Saute Salmon options). We received so many compliments on the delicious food and hospitality. Even days after the wedding, we are still receiving so many commendations! Definitely have to give a shout out to Juan Pablo: our very own personal server who really took great care of me and the groom, ensuring we had food and drinks during cocktail and the reception. THANK YOU JUAN PABLO!
In the planning phase, Evelyn assisted and was wonderful, professional, and courteous! Very quick to respond and was so flexible with our requests even leading up to the wedding. They have so many options and they are all GREAT and of globally-inspired variety. Everyone thought it was such a perfect combination! Thank you so much for the delightful experience MESA 364!!!!! -

Chef Piñeiro and his guys were amazing!! The food was delicious and my guest went on and on about everything they ate. The whole roasted pig was beautiful and delicious-guest were raving about the skin! The appetizers were a big hit too. The tiny tacos were my personal favorite, but everything was great!
Our waiter, Juan-the most thoughtful and amazing server anyone could ask for. He brought me appetizers and a drink during the cocktail hour while we were taking our pictures. He got our dinner and he served us before we could even ask for something-like he could read our minds! Very attentive!
Chef Piñeiro is a local celebrity chef on the island and all the local ladies were going crazy when they saw him! He was nice enough to take pictures with us!

Mesa 364 and Chef Piñeiro catered our wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and it was such an amazing and delicious experience! Mesa 364 was recommended to us by our wedding planner (Karisha Marie Events) and it was a pleasure working with them. We worked with Evelyn to set up everything and customize the menu. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and able to answer all our questions. We were able to do a tasting ahead of time and met Chef Piñeiro which was a treat. My husband is from Puerto Rico and I am from New York, so our wedding was a mix of cultures and everyone loved the food! Additionally, all the staff at Mesa 364 are professional and attentive. They know the hacienda well and have a great set up for cooking there. On our wedding day the waiters saved hors d'oeuvre especially for us and prepared our plates to save time. You cannot go wrong with Mesa 364, worth every penny!! -

We had a great time working with Mesa 364. I married a chef, we had many chefs attending the ceremony, and all our guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The staff was professional, saved appetizers for us during the busy cocktail hour, and brought us plates from the buffet so we could enjoy our meals before mingling and talking to our guests. I was nervous about having a whole roasted pig at our wedding, but it was absolutely delicious and the favorite dish of almost everyone, with most people getting seconds. We hired this vendor based on reviews (we had a destination wedding & couldn’t taste the food in advance) & they exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend! -

I cannot express enough how amazing the food was at my wedding. From hor d'oeuvres to main plate, Chef Pineiro delivered on his promise of cooking local, farm-to-table, 5-Star food. Our guests were raving about it! It's been two months, and I still get compliments about how delicious everything was. Most people do not expect a lot from the food at weddings, but my husband and I are big foodies, and wanted to make sure this aspect of our wedding was perfect. And boy, it was! I have to say at first I was taken aback by the price of a catered meal for my opening reception, but low and behold I didn't know I would get a better meal that on my wedding night. Chef Pineiro is the best chef on the island. Easily one of the most delicious meals I have ever had in my life. A chef who knows how to make food from the island come alive for people with an unfamiliar pallet. Based on reading the other reviews I think the chef has taken feedback seriously. We had everything included and did not have to worry about plates, napkins, cups or anything. He also took credit cards which can be a pain with other vendors on the island. Over all the vendors I used for my wedding this was easily the best choice we made. -

Chef Piñeiro - Mesa 364 and staff served us at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and we had the most unbelievable experience! We had the chance to meet Chef Piñeiro for a tasting and he was incredibly humble and professional. During the wedding, our guests kept raving about food, especially the pork belly baos during cocktail hour. We LOVED the tasty pumpkin soup, tropical green salad, filet mignon or chicken breast with chorizo. The servings were well portioned, delicious and brought out in a timely fashion. The staff was also amazing and courteous. If you're looking for top notch catering service for your wedding, Chef Piñeiro is it!

It was an absolute honor to have them cater our reception! I even got to meet Chef Pineiro!! While my bridesmaids and I were bustle-ing my wedding gown, they brought us hors d'oeuvers to enjoy (which was so thoughtful and very kind--I was so hungry at that point and so appreciative!!). The quality of service, professionalism, and thoughtfulness of the staff was excellent! The meal and hors d'oeuvers were delicious and very well prepared. Thank you, Chef Pineiro and team!! -

We hired the Mesa team as the caterers for our destination wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico, June 2016. Mesa's administrative staff was responsive to e-mails and easy to work with. We had multiple menu options within days of our inquiry and their catering outline was concise!
Our menu selections were INCREDIBLE and presentation was pure perfection!
We rented a private villa for our reception and the team was great at respecting the property and cleaning up at the end of the evening. The team was patient and attentive, they graciously provided a sample plate for us as we drifted off for a few minutes of privacy.
The Mesa team was flexible with coordinating a few non-catering items for us as we were in a part of the island with limited resources. We loved their can-do outlook!
Payment processing was easy and timely. -

The food was really good! We chose the buffet option for our wedding.
Overall: I would recommend! The root vegetable mash was my favorite! Servers were clean, professional, fast, and polite.
Cocktail Hour: We took photos during our cocktail hour so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the cocktail hour food, but our guests said they enjoyed everything. Servers did offer us food which was very much appreciated and at least gave us an opportunity to see what was being served and everything did look amazing! We didn't take much ( but I had one bite and it was sooo good!) because we didn't want food in our teeth for the pictures.
Service: We had a personal server who introduced himself and was incredibly polite and professional and assured us that whatever we needed he would get. He checked on us very often.
Responsiveness: Communication wasn't terrible, but could be improved, so I gave that a 3/5 stars (average). I had a few bumps in the road with contacting for service through email. I tried calling several times during the contracting process, but never got through. I emailed to say I couldn't get through and she (Evelyn) would say call again, but I still did not get through. I finally just gave up trying. She responded back to emails quickly, but the responses would sometimes be that she was going to look into it and get back to me. However, I would need to follow up (sometimes several times- or ask my planner to) before getting my answer. I would still recommend them to a friend, but I think having someone like a wedding planner who can reach out to them helps a ton. My partial wedding coordinator was able to get me answers much faster somehow, I'm not sure why. I hired her after I already had a contract with this vendor though. I believe it would have helped to have the planner during the contract making process.

The food selection was I credible. We wanted Puerto Rican food at our wedding and Chef’s Piñeiro’s team delivered. All our guests complimented the food all night. The price was a bit higher than other options but worth every penny!
